But I got sidetracked and I have to go to bed so I’ll have to reply tomorrow! I’m sorry about that)

(Short, gotta poof. I’m getting ready for a family meal. I’ll do the rest of my replies when I get back and hopefully they’ll be better than this)
“Nah, it’s no problem,” Dash said “I’d be happy to mention your name, help you out a bit.”
He liked that she seemed to be taking a genuine interest in him. A lot of people just wanted to know him because they thought his powers were cool or they wanted him to talk about his family. He was proud of his family and he loved them, but he hated hearing ‘You’re Mr Incredible/Elastigirl’s son’ or ‘You’re Violet Parr’s brother’ all of the time, or people asking if he or his family members could really do one particular thing they’d heard about. It made him feel like people weren’t really interested in him at all. They loved the surname ‘Parr’ and that was it.
“Yeah, I guess I am,” Dash nodded “and yeah, some supers have definitely been driven out of the cities. I think it’s just that my family has a good reputation. The hate here isn’t too bad, especially because some of the kids in the year above remember my sister and they kind of keep an eye on me.”
At her next comment, Dash tilted his head slightly.
“They want to be rid of you? Why’s that exactly? Sounds like you need a better family. You’re right, though. I’m pretty lucky with my family, they’re great.”
He appreciated them more than he used to. He didn’t know what he’d do without them. He and Violet worked best together, the whole family did. Their hero work was so successful because they worked as a team, and that was amazing. A speedster was great, but they couldn’t do as much on their own as they could with a whole team around them like Dashiell had.
“Yeah, I hope they do. I’m looking forward to graduating and stuff, are you?”

Lilah smiled when Dash said the hate wasn't too bad. "The fact that you're affable probably helps too. Super or not, a bad personality won't help you too much." And having a "famous" family probably helped a deal too. After all, like Dash said, so many other Supers had been driven away that hadn't had the spotlight. "I'd say you'd do well for yourself just as a person, but it's no secret you like to do "work", with or without your family. You'd probably go crazy not doing anything to exercise your power." She had a bunch he used it a little to run track for school, but not so obviously of course. Good thing her own ability didn't ache to be used like that of a speedster.
When asked why her family wanted to be rid of her, she smiled sheepishly. "I'm just... different, I guess." She knew she wouldn't receive any initial dislike from Dash for admitting she was a Super, but then he would probably ask to see what she could do, and she didn't want to ruin anything so soon. "Maybe I do need a better family. Or just a family at all. Th he only thing they care about is that I get a good education at a good college, preferably far away." The thought made her sad. Angry even. Clenching her jaw a little, she closed her eyes. Taking a breath, she opened her eyes again. It was so small and quick that you almost couldn't see it. Traces of yellow vanishing back into nothing in her usually brown eyes. "Like I said, a little jealous that you have such a... passionate family, but I have a hunch you don't want to stay on that subject for long. I bet almost everyone tries to get you to talk about what it's like and all that." Her lips curled in amusement.
When asked if she was looking forward to graduating, she nodded. "Of course! I can't wait to be out on my own, doing my own thing. Highschool is gonna seem like child's play though once we get there. Either way, I want out. Ready to explore the world as an adult and all that." And be away from her uncaring family. That too. Lilah cracked another small smile at the thought. "So, what are you looking to do for college, hm? Staying close to home, leaving?" He seemed the type to go out and look around regardless once he was old enough. Free spirit and all that. She was in the same boat, but much less bold of course. She didn't think she'd ever have his level of competitive or outgoing nature. She was much more calm, preferring to observe from afar more times than not. Maybe that was why she was drawn to the more social and bold crowd. They made perfect counterweights for her.

(I’m sorry if this is bad and/or short)
Jahmelia Best was bored, and sat in front of the piano in her house, mindlessly playing some familiar music. She learned classical music, but she’d also taught herself some more modern music just for fun. Right now she was sticking with her classical music.
She was waiting a flowy cream cami, a pair of comfortable jeans, and a shawl. It was a beautiful rich burgundy colour, with designs picked out in thread in good, and deep jewel-toned greens and blues. Her dark dreads were decorated with their usual gold beads, and she wore subtle, neutral makeup.
Her siblings were somewhere around, she knew, and she had no idea where her parents were. The family seemed to be in different rooms doing their own thing, she supposed. It was nice; she loved that her family could enjoy themselves spending time together and apart.
She was pretty close with her siblings, in general, though it was kind of her job as a younger sibling to irritate Omar on occasion. She loved her older brother. And of course she couldn’t not be close with her twin. They were each technically the first person the other had ever met, after all, and they’d been roommates in very close quarters for nine months. She loved her family, which was nice. Others weren’t so lucky.

(Don’t worry, Dash isn’t gonna realise he likes her yet. He is just starting to have thoughts and feelings that he can’t explain. Again, this is a short and not-so-great reply, but I’m pretty drained today)
“Thanks,” Dash said with a chuckle “you’re...affable too.”
They should hang out more, he found himself thinking. Why wasn’t he friends with this girl already? They knew one another, had some friends in common, but he was realising now that she was pretty awesome.
“Yeah,” he said with a nod, one hand moving to the back of his neck “I’ll always do superhero work. I just... I can’t explain it. It’s like an energy inside me that builds up and I can’t hold it back because if I did it feels like I’d explode.”
When she said she was different, the young super leaned towards her conspiratorially.
“I’ll let you into a secret,” he said with a lopsided smile “normal is overrated. If everyone were the same where would my family and I be?”
He’d always thought normal to be overrated. He’d never wanted normal, and he’d never understood Violet’s obsession with it, though he supposed he did now. She was shier than him, afraid to be different in a way Dash was not.
“Your family just don’t appreciate you,” the boy replied “which is stupid.”
He listened to her words about college, and was nodding in agreement. He liked her ideas, and he looked forward to graduating too.
“Yeah I’m planing on maybe going somewhere a little further away. I’ll still do work with my family, I guess, or I might strike out on my own. I’d rather travel, see the world a little bit. Work with supers that aren’t my dad, my mom, Violet and Jack-Jack. Don’t feel like you can’t ask about them, by the way. I get asked about them a lot but honestly if you have questions I’m not going to stop you.”

( It's alright x3 )
Lilah grinned when Dash said that normal was overrated. Studying him with slight amusement, she said "I don't know, you'd probably get far with a personality like yours." Sure, sometimes powers matched one's personality at some point, but that couldn't be said for every bit of it. "I bet you'd find a way to stand out still." That was good though, in her opinion. Even if you want with the crowd for the most part or not, you still should find a way to make yourself unique. "I don't think I'm that determined though," she then added with a nervous laugh. "Every time I... try, it's just a disaster to put it simple." She had a slight frown, but it lasted only a moment of two.
When Dashiell spoke about leaving and seeing the world, she listened curiously, nodding a few times. She then tilted her head, saying "I'll admit that I'm curious about your family, but you're just as interesting. Plus, I'm sure any questions I have can wait. The conversation is more than fine with it just being about either of us, hm?" Plus, she technically already met them once, when she nearly got in a fight with Dash's parents on the job. A huge misunderstanding, fortunately. "Petty soon though, everyone will be asking about you and Violet mainly, hm? Your parents will be too old to do hero work one day, and you two will be in the spotlight. Jack-Jack too of course."

(Also I googled it and Jack-Jack’s name is John and my mind is blown)
He smiled when she said he’d find a way to stand out, his eyes flicking to the ground as he did so before meeting hers once again. That was nice of her, and he found himself not knowing exactly how to respond.
“Thanks, you too,” he replied “but I mean, don’t be afraid to be you even if your family doesn’t like it, or anyone else for that matter.”
He wasn’t going to be obsessed with fitting in like Violet had been before she became a little more confident and embracing of her uniqueness. He wasn’t going to waste what his parents hadn’t had after the golden years ended; the ability to let oneself stand out.
At her next words he smiled, admittedly a little relieved. He didn’t want to restrict her and what she could talk about, but he’d rather not get into too much depth about his family. He mentioned them a lot because they were a big part of his life but he didn’t want to answer questions too much about them.
“”I agree,” he said, before answering her question “Yeah, it will. Mom and dad will want to take a break, step out of the spotlight, at some point. And then it’ll be Violet and I, and Jack-Jack when he gets a bit older.”
Though not that much older - Dash was only ten himself when he started hero work, and Jack-Jack was seven now. Dash was a little nervous to think about the future, when Elastigirl chose a quiet life, and Mr Incredible’s strength perhaps began to fade. He was nervous, but optimistic. He and his siblings could handle it; together they were absolutely unstoppable.

(That's almost as surprising as learning the baby from Ice Age had a name (Roshan))
Lilah smiled as Dash said that she shouldn't be afraid to be herself. Hm. She wondered if that would change if he knew about the other personality swimming around her brain. "I'll have to keep that in mind," she said thoughtfully. If they became better friends, she would eventually have to show him Lindorm. Only because he was a Super though. If he had been a normal guy, the idea would never have crossed her mind once. Ever. Keeping quiet about it for now, she just nodded as he spoke about his family. "I bet you'll be glad to have your fun once you get to take center stage. Some people say that they want the relief of not being pictured in the light of their parents or family." She could tell that such things didn't bother Dash in the sense that he loved his family of course. They were rowdy and a range if personalities, but they managed to work together like a well-oiled machine. Most of the time.
For a brief moment, Lilah wondered if she would ever get a chance in the spotlight. After all, she would likely be among the generation of heroes to overtake their elders. She wondered if she would ever be apart of a team mainly though. Probably not. Lindorm was not a team player as of now, but maybe she could learn. Biting her lip, she found herself speaking before she could stop herself. "Hey... you asked earlier why my family wanted to be rid of me. It's cause, well, I'm not... what they envisioned in their family I guess. How about... I show you why?" She could feel a tiny pinch in the back of her mind, as if Lindorm was protesting. As if she were protesting. Might as well get it over with though. The longer she debated with herself about it, the more anxiety it would cause her. Hopefully things would go sorta well. People would probably call authorities. Maybe Supers. She didn't exactly look pretty and friendly like a hero, and had already been mistaken for a villain. Ah, if only she could shrink her size. A lot, but that wasn't an ability that came with being Lindorm.
"After school though," she decided. Lindorm wouldn't fit in a classroom. And she didn't feel like dealing with screaming people. "The reason's a little... embarrassing. I don't want anyone else to see." She wondered why she extended the offer to Dash so soon though. Maybe cause she trusted him or something. Or cause he was the only Super outside of her family that was her friend. She probably knew more, but they hadn't revealed their identities to the public or something. You never knew. As she thought this all over, she looked at Dash hesitantly, wondering what he'd decide. It was a little sudden, but she hadn't made it seem like it was anything alarming. More like a secret, like it was some item or perhaps something she rarely told anyone about. The second reason was technically it, but still. Her brown gaze looked a little unsure, as if debating whether she had made a good choice or not.

She enjoyed listening to classical music. She does enjoy listening to modern music sometimes, but she'll usually just listen to the same songs over and over, which can get pretty boring. When you have no idea what to listen to anymore, just listen to classical music. You can never got wrong with it. Classical music was also good for sketching; it puts her in a trance-like state where she is focused on only the drawing, and nothing else. This irritates their mom more than anything when she calls her name because she can hardly hear her. She was a flowy ivory cami, a light blue shawl over it, and a pair of green fish scale leggings. On her feet were glittery flats matching the color of her shawl. Her long braids were decorated with silver beads. She wore pearl earrings, and her favorite silver mermaid necklace. She always liked fantasy creatures for as long as she can remember. Her favorite however were mermaids. She had no idea where her family was as well. Besides Jahmelia whom she was in the same room with. Maybe their parents were in another room arguing over their father's super suit. Then again it would be pretty loud, whether they were in another room or not. She loved her family, but she felt closest to her twin the most. She loved Omar, but irritating him was more fun. Especially when she's doing it with her twin.

(I’m thinking we should get them all together soon and then we can use all of the characters.
It seems like a good time to skip with the Andersons anyway right? So we can move things on with them and start the full plot. I don’t want there to be any imbalance or overshadowing of anyone and I think if we do that it’ll help? And everyone can use their characters all together)

That can be like the first major fight but they have to recruit others to help properly take the villains down)

(I wouldn't say that Dash and Lilah's posts are taking over. They're simply more detailed. Longer. Plus I don't see a problem with there being little side plots going on while the main plot goes on too. It gives other characters a chance to be developed and used.)
