(Okay so I think maybe we can continue on with Dash and Lilah as long as we don’t let it become the main plot.
But we should totally start off the main plot. I’m gonna work on a reply a little later on I have a busy day today. But we can skip with the Andersons a bit and also Smokey would you want to skip with Dash and Lilah to them meeting outside of school to see her powers or would you rather continue the convo for a little)

(Where do you think we should skip to? Like should we really jump to the plot. Or have them like actually build up the relationship before starting the investigation? Because they don't have much to go by on except for the vision. It would also look less suspicious if they were to just hang out first.)

(I’m totally down to have them just hanging out. I’ll probably get something up first thing in the morning. They could go shopping, take a walk, whatever you like. I’m totally down for some bonding)

(Haha don’t worry we’re on the same page, I totally agree. I don’t think there’s enough to go on yet to start.
Plus they should defo be a proper team before they start. They can do a fun activity and chat and stuff. Just let me know if there’s anything you’d like them to do or anything you want me to add or work into my starter and then I’ll make sure to add it)

Ooh I really like that. I’ll definitely add that in, though probably not right away so they can hang out.
I’ll write up the starter soon I think. Should we have them out shopping or what do you think?)

Ana was wandering in a clothes shop with her sister, idly flicking through the racks. She didn’t intend on buying anything, really, but she wasn’t sure about Daffodil. This shop had plenty of options for clothes, though, with options to suit both of their tastes. This shopping trip was just an excuse for the two of them to talk, spend some more time together like their fathers intended, and maybe discuss everything with Ana’s vision at some point.
The girl was wearing ripped jeans, combat boots, a band t-shirt and a leather jacket. All dark colours, of course, mostly black. She was wearing silver jewellery in her ears and a personalised silver dog tag necklace with ‘Ana Anderson’ engraved on it.
Diana liked being an Anderson, as much as she didn’t say it. Her fathers and sister had given her a real home, and they cared about her, which was all she could ever ask for. She had a few mementos from her old life before her parents died, but she kept them in a little trunk underneath her bed, which could only be unlocked with a key she always kept on her person. She didn’t want anyone else rooting through her things. Besides, she didn’t look at that stuff as often as she had when she was a kid. They weren’t the same family, but she had a family now, and she didn’t need to think as much about her old one.
But she isolated herself from the family she had, and that was why Caleb and Chase wanted her to spend time with Daffodil. Which brought Ana back to reality as she wandered alongside her adoptive sister.
“I want you to know I don’t dislike you, and my not spending time with you isn’t personal. I wanted to clear that up right of the bat,” Ana stated
She wanted to explain that she didn’t have a problem with Daffodil, that Ana separating herself from her sister was her problem, not Daffodil’s

Daffodil was wearing bootcut jeans, brown platform wedges, a pink boy band t shirt, with a short brown cardigan over it, gold studs in the shape of hearts and a gold flower necklace engraved 'Daffodil Anderson' on it.
"I kinda figured you didn't. If you did dislike me, you probably wouldn't have told me about the vision. Besides, sometimes it's easier to be alone. Even if it might not be the best." Daffodil had some difficulty forming relationships. She was the type of person that would ignore bullies rather than retaliate; which of course made them want to dig at her more. She remembered one time as a child she thought she was friends with one girl then later found out she's been talking about her. Because of this, she just assumes everyone secretly dislikes her, and those she's friends with, just tolerate her.
Only people she did learn to trust were her fathers, she sometimes found it amusing that she had two fathers. She didn't have a whole lot of memories of her old father. She did have a memento from him before he died however. It was a small leather purse that had a picture of a sun engraved on it. And the words 'Jack's little ray of sunshine'. She assumed her father's name was 'Jack'. She just kept it under her bed because it's was way too small for her to use now. She had more vivid memories of her mother however. Some were locked in an old diary that she hardly wrote in. Maybe it was easier to adjust to her new family, because she wanted a family, she wanted to be around people who didn't secretly dislike her. She wanted to feel like she belonged somewhere. Just anywhere. She wanted to relive those faint memories of being in a family.

(Them being such complete opposites gives me life ngl)
“Yeah, it is sometimes easier to be alone. But Caleb and Chase are right; it’d be better for the both of us if we spent more time together. I’m not the kind of person who goes for all that mushy crap, but it makes sense that we support one another. We’ve both been through the same stuff.” Ana replied
She didn’t exactly want to be making friendship bracelets and acting like the world was sunshine and rainbows and unicorns or whatever, but she did see that them being closer was important for not only them being a team when it came to the stuff with Ana’s vision, but also just with them being able to cope with life. Life was tough sometimes, especially for young supers, and if the two of them were closer it might help them a lot. Maybe facing everything alone wasn’t the way forward, maybe Ana had to learn to accept help.
She had a new family, after all, and she needed to be as close to them as she had been with the family she’d lost.
She had a few little mementos of childhood things, just maybe old toys, or tags from Christmas presents that had her parents’ writing on. Old photos. She even had her christening bracelet from when she was a baby, a silver bracelet with ‘Diana Stirling’ engraved on it. Her old surname. Diana Stirling felt a million miles away from Ana Anderson, but maybe that was just an opportunity. She could be whoever she wanted to be; those changes from her childhood self didn’t have to be for the worst.

(Lol.)
"It just takes a while to get used to. Are you buying anything?" Daffodil said.
She had one childhood memory she was fond of. She remembered making stuff like friendship bracelets, beaded lizards, plastic lace keychains during summer camp. Some of the kids were mean, but most were far nicer to her than the kids at school. Maybe she could show Ana how to make one. But she didn't seem like the type of person who'd be into stuff like that.

(I’m just having them chat for a while but let me know when you wanna have them start getting texts. And if you have any ideas for what the first text should be)
“I don’t know,” Ana said contemplatively “I don’t think I want to get anything, I don’t know about you. Do you want to buy anything?”
She examined a top momentarily before deciding it wasn’t her thing, leaving it and moving on.
Ana knew they needed to bond or whatever it was their dads wanted, so they should probably talk and ask questions and be social. Something Ana was not particularly used to. She had a small group of friends and outside of that she wasn’t too outgoing.
“So how are you managing with all of the hate for supers still around?” Ana asked “anybody on your back at school?”
Diana was pretty willing to punch anyone bullying Daffodil just like she’d done with that other kid talking about the Andersons. Whether they were close or not she still had a sense of duty to her family, and she wasn’t going to pretend that she didn’t care about them on some level.

(Okay.)
"I don't want to buy anything." She just wanted to hang out really. Anything to get their adoptive fathers off their backs.
"People like to dig at me. But what would you expect right? The golden age for supers is over." She wondered what it was like for supers during that time. It must have been amazing. She wondered what caused those days to end. If only she was born earlier.

“Yeah,” Ana agreed in response to Daffodil’s comment “I wish we could’ve seen that. Mr Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, all at the height of their power. We could’ve been like that if the golden days hadn’t ended.”
It was better for Ana, because her powers manifested themselves in a less obvious way. The visions, her reflexes, and her healing powers. Unless she had a vision in class or got into a fight most people seemed to forget she was super. She didn’t know how to feel about that. On the one hand, it was nice that people saw her for her personality and not her powers, but on the other hand that personality wasn’t always that great. Plus, her powers made her different and unique. She didn’t want to be normal like some supers might.
“Hey,” the girl began after a moment “you do kickboxing too right? We should train together sometime.”
That would be another good bonding situation and it would help them both prepare for whatever was coming with this fight Ana had seen. She was a little nervous for that, because the only offensive ability she had was her kickboxing augmented by her speedy reflexes. She just hoped it would be okay.
