Alexandrea rolled her eyes at his words for a second, heading up the hall towards the stairwell. She needed to check out the chemistry lab and purposely left her lab book in the classroom for that reason alone. At Conner's next question, Alex's face darkened for a moment before a forced indifference crossed her face. "The old hag from History slammed a ruler pretty hard on his hands today for dropping a damn pen. I cornered him after that." she told him in a bored tone, making it up to the third floor. She had passed Jericho in the hall and waved goodbye earlier and she sighed, walking down the hall to the classroom.

Conner scrunched his nose in disgust and rolled his seat back. He sighed softly and rested his head against his chair. "Geez..." He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Maybe I'll come to school tomorrow and see for myself as well." He suggested. "Or do you think that'll stress him out further?"

"I think it may stress him out. I'd give him a day or two."Alexandrea told the teen, opening the door for the chemistry classroom. Seeing it empty, Alex walked into the classroom, taking a casual glance around. "There it is.." she muttered for show, moving to the back of the classroom near the chemicals. She scanned them briefly as she snagged the book and smiled, turning to head out. "Well I found them. They're still in the classroom, at least the ones you asked about. Secured with a thumb pad but I know how to bypass that."

Conner watched Alexandrea from where he was and smiled. "Great. Do you think you can break in tomorrow night? I'll get your empty loop prepared after I finish decorating and I also need to collect some bottles for the messier explosives." He grinned to himself and leaned his head against the palm of his hand. "I can collect those myself. As for the tungsten carbide "bombs," his sinister grin grew even more, "we can work together on that one. Just need you to come over the night of d-day so that we can mix those chemicals together and set them up at the entrances as decoys."

Alexandrea hummed quietly as she walked down the hall, shifting her bag over her back. "Tomorrow night? I should be able to. I would just have to prepare tonight for tomorrow. Is there an estimated time you want me here?" She asked, skipping down the hall stairway swiftly. She slipped around the corner and paused, noting the utter quietness. Her brow's furrowed slightly and she walked down the call carefully, the silent halls disturbing her. "Where is everyone located Connor? It's still pretty early in the day and the second floor is clear." she asked, glancing around. Was there a teacher meeting that she didn't know about? She knew that her brother didn't deal with the school matters all the time so this was something that she had to gather herself.

Conner checked the area and raised an eyebrow. "A couple groups of students are cleaning several classrooms and I see maybe one or two teachers monitoring. Other than that, there isn't much going on." He did find it a little odd that the school had been mostly empty. But then again, in a society like this, what teacher or student would even stay? "Well, since it is a little after three, almost everyone would have left by now."

Daphne had put away her apron and the rest of her work uniform and was now waiting outside the cafe in her grey hoodie and black skirt. She brushed herself off and waited for the government official to arrive.

Alexandrea sighed at his words and ran a hand through her hair. "Alright, I would need to get home to prep for tomorrow. I have the information submitted from yesterday and I would have today's submitted by nine tonight." she told the silver haired teen, quickly exiting the school building. "Are you going to stay on the air? " she asked, sighing as she escaped the building.
Darien walked towards the cafe, checking the time on his watch. He was running slightly late and he frowned, his pace quickening. He arrived at the corner and took a moment to straighten up. "Good afternoon Miss. Daphne." he called out, walking towards the woman at the corner. He blinked at her outfit and couldn't help but smile slightly at the sight. "Sorry for being late. I ran into a bit of trouble." he admitted, remembering about the call he received from the office earlier.

Conner hummed softly, "Sounds good." He started gathering his things for tonight's stunt. "Probably safer not to if I'm going to be in the city. I should be fine though. It'll be a piece of cake." He chuckled darkly and zipped his backpack up and threw it over his shoulder. "Maybe I'll walk a bit. Get some fresh air before I make my way in." He walked out the door, making sure to lock everything up before exiting the cave. "Oh Alex. If only you lived out here and enjoyed this scenery!" He inhaled deeply. "It's so nice out. Especially with the sunset."
Daphne shook her head and smiled just a slight bit. "Don't be sorry, please. I haven't been waiting for too long."

Alexandrea allowed a pout to cross her face at his words and she huffed, her expression clearing again when she got into public view. "Conner you know I'd do anything to live out there. Now more than ever since I've actually been there.. Alas. Why am I needed here?" she asked, sighing rather dramatically as she quickly slipped into an alleyway to take a shortcut home. She passed a bakery on her way home and blinked slightly in surprise, her head tilting to the side slightly. "Conner. Why in the world is my brother bowing to a girl. That's just plain creepy." she said, slipping quickly into the shadows with a shudder. Her brother? With a girl? The poor woman. She memorized the unknown female's face and quickly made her way home, trying to forget how out of character her brother was.

He bowed slightly, missing the sight of his sister passing by and straitened up with a small polite smile. "None the less, I apologize Miss. Daphne. Are you ready to head out?" He asked her, coming to a stop next to the woman. "I can take you now to the office to sign the official papers to be hired. If you'd like, I'd also give you a tour of the building if it isn't late by the time you're done." he offered, holding his arm out for her to take.

Conner frowned and raised an eyebrow as he hopped onto his hoverboard and made his way towards the city. "I can tap into the cameras and mics later to find out after I'm done my little art project," he suggested. Conner soon reached the city gates and quickly started his climb upwards and over before sliding back down onto the otherside. "Alright. I'm in."

Daphne pushed her hair behind her ear and shyly took his arm. "Alright, thank you, Mr. Barnes. A tour of the building would be lovely." She gently curled her fingers over the inside of his elbow and shyly followed in his footsteps.

"That poor woman. I'll have to gather Intel on her later. Is there a virus that we could install on his laptop?" Alexandrea mused, slipping out of the alley and came to a stop next to a street. "Its a good thing we found out about her. We don't know what skills she could provide." She commented in an offhand tone. She couldn't care less about her brother at the moment but she still needed his access. "Just be careful, alright? We don't need you captured by those brainless losers. They're dangerous when they can't think for themselves."

Darien couldn't help but stand straighter if possible when Miss. Daphne took his arm and he flashed her a charming smile. "Perfect. I'll get everything set up then. Now. There's several openings in the government this week. Do you have any idea on what position you would like?" He asked her. He knew that there wasn't such openings but he could always shift people around to get her the job she liked. He briefly thought on why he was giving her so many privileges but he shoved that thought away for another day.

"Uhh yeah, what for though?" Conner let out the smallest chuckle. "I got this. Remember I've been at it for a couple of years already. Just not on the fields as much." He brushed himself down and started running down the street, avoiding the drones and cameras as best as he could. "I'm almost at the billboard. You home yet?"

"I'm not quite sure... can you run me through the positions and regulations in your office?" Daphne asked as they walked. She looked around the grey city, her mind wandering just a bit. Wouldn't these walls look better with just a smidge of red? She thought.

Alexandrea couldn't help but roll her eyes at Conner's words as she opened up the gate to her front yard. "Yeah I'm home. I was asking because I was wondering if there's a key tracer that we can install or something. Track what he types or downloads onto the files. That would include copying data from the thumb drives he keeps getting." she suggested, closing it behind her. "I know you've been at it longer than be Con, but it doesn't mean I can't stop wishing you luck about it. Besides. Everyone gets told to be careful."

Darien nodded slightly and adjusted her grip on his arm, not bothering to look down at her. "Well I work at the BIS and that stands for.." Darien continued to speak, verbally walking her through his office. The BIS was a large part of what made him, him so the man was rather proud to speak of his work. He didn't notice that Daphne had stopped listening to him long ago but instead continued on with what he does as a secretary. "And that is what we do at the BIS." he ended his long winded speech, glancing down at her to see if she paid any attention.

"Ahhh... alright I'll try to install something... it's gonna take longer than a few seconds for me to get in though since your brother's computer is protected by extra firewalls and he probably has an anti virus installed somewhere. It might be easier for me to physically sneak in and to that for you." He reached the billboard and lifted his head to stare at the speaker that was going to be at their school. He clenched his fist before starting to scale the pole. "Alright, Alex. I'll be careful." He was still pretty confident in himself but if it helped her sleep at night then he had no problem reassuring her. "I'm on the billboard now." He chuckled darkly and pulled out his equipment, setting his backpack down. He took the yellow one out first, shaking before getting started on a goatee.

Daphne drew her attention back in the middle of Dairen's schpiel. She looked ahead of them as they crossed the street when he finished. "It sounds intriguing... I feel like whatever you think is good for me, I'll be satisfied with any position you offer." She clasped her hands in front of her, becoming a little nervous the closer they got to the building.

Alexandrea let out her own morbid chuckle at his words and paused at her doorway, glancing back at the direction she knew he was in. "Alright. I'm back home as well. I can't wait till the blue collars are up and about, I'll know when they find it. Darien is usually called for that type of thing." she admitted, dark amusement flashing in her eyes as she remembered the last time they found artwork on the streets. Darien had been called for work at the peachy hour called four. It was glorious to see him exhausted and irritable. He actually showed emotion! "Over and out Conner."

Darien smiled at her words and approached the building, allowing the security guard to scan his wrist. "Good evening gentlemen. This little lovely lady at my side is Miss. Daphne. She would be accompanying me inside the building for my duration. " He told the guards before turning to look down at the woman at his side. "Now, Miss. Daphne, I am sure you would love it here in the BIS. Would you please allow them to scan your wrist? We would need the records to show that you entered with me." he asked her, a charming smile dancing across his face. If she looked closely enough, she could have seen that his eyes stayed cold, signifying that the smile was fake.

"Goodnight, Alex." He put his com device to sleep and continued to work on his master piece. He gave the lovely old man a rainbow afro, some devil horns, and a moustache. "Mmm perfect..." he hummed to himself and chuckled. "First warning, Mr. Barnes. Your move." He capped all his paints and headed down from the billboard. He adjusted the mask on his face before jumping down. As soon as he did, drone hovered above him and flashed a red light. "Code red! Code red! Intruder!" Conner cursed under his breath and took his grappling hook and threw it at the drone, bringing it down before stomping his foot over it. Hopefully none of the other cameras have seen it, he thought before hiding under the blindspots, taking extra precaution so he could make it out of the city safely.

Daphne nodded and held her wrist out to the scanner. Once that was approved, they were let in. There was something cold about being inside the building. And not cold as in physically cold. She just couldn't pinpoint what it was. Would it be wrong to think this way?

The first thing that Darien heard as he walked to his desk was a blaring, constant beep. His eyes flashed coldly and he surveyed the room. "Conway! O'Neal!" he called out, his tone cold as his eyes. He paid Daphne no mind for the moment, striding over to his desk to deactivate the warning. "I need you two over to one of our billboards STAT! A drone went down after a warning. It could be a malfunction but I want this resolved today." he called out, dismissing the two team workers who scrambled to get their supplies in order without glancing over at them. He knew that if he glanced and saw them scramble once more he would loose his hard earned cool. His cold blue eyes cut over to Daphne and he withheld a sigh, blinking slowly to get back into character. "I'm sorry for that disruption Miss. Daphne. You said you wanted a tour of the place?" he asked her, placing a hand on the back of his chair.

Conner quickly hooked himself up to the wall and quickly started climbing. Wasting no time, he climbed over the wall and narrowingly escaped the city. Once he was on the other side, he leaned against the wall, holding his hand against his chest. "Way too close..." he breathed.

Darien noted the hand reactions and bit back a scowl. She was going to have to toughen up if she were to survive within the BIS, the government really. Flicking his gaze back towards Daphne he nodded at her words and gestured for her to follow him. "Right. Within the BIS there is four different clearance levels. I'm only going to show you the basic clearance level for now. When you sign the paperwork my team is drawing up right now, I'll show you the remaining clearance levels. How does that sound?" he asked her, walking to a set of heavy looking wooden doors. The BIS logo was engraved into the wood, making it stand out in the light. He didn't bother asking his team to draw them up because he knew that they were already listening in, a very useful habit that he intended to break sooner or later.

Daphne lifted her chin a little and gave a curt nod. "Sounds good to me," she said. Following in Dairen's footsteps, she took her time to study her surroundings. All she saw was grey, grey, and more grey. It wasn't really any better from the coffee shop. In fact, it was probably worse.
