Berlin Silverlake daughter of Bolt and Mittens
"You get the best angles though. I know several people who when holding a camera wouldn't be nearly as good as you. Me for example. Or better yet, Bella. The Bete princess would probably have it focused on herself, and yeesh if anyone wants to see that," Berlin said with a grin on her face. Any time to berate the b--chy princess was a good time indeed. Berlin didn't like her. Then again, the only people who did were whoever was her boyfriend of the week.
"Hell yeah, I'd be willing to do that. Dang, that's actually a really good idea," Berlin said. For one, Berlin was great with being filmed. All angles for the actress dog-cat were good angles for her. Two, Carmelo would still get a video up which was absolutely great for the guy. Three, Berlin may be a little excited at the idea of being up on his channel, even if it was simple roller skating in an empty pool. It would be chill.
Then he went on about cake, which Berlin found to be endearing. "You're right, hadn't thought about that before. That statement is really rather rude if I have a say in that. It's so not cool to do that to someone. Such a tease," Berlin agreed.
An eyebrow went up when he let out a small growl. "You good?" She figured she'd ask. "If you're good, them I'm good." Somewhat waiting for an answer, Berlin moved towards the edge of the pool, wheels on her skates on the edge as she waited for the permission to dive on down.

Carmelo Dorian Rivera Son of Dante & Collette
Man he really needed an actual video camera. Maybe Carmelo should buy one. No, he definitely should, then he could just carry it around everywhere and film all these videos much more professionally. Right now he was just using his phone, and while he had the best possible camera a phone could have, it still wasn’t anything compared to the real deal. Imagine how many more people would be interested in his videos if they were done professionally. He could get even more followers. That settled it, Carmelo was going to buy a camera for himself and film these out better.
Pushing that aside for now, Carmelo got his phone ready, absentmindedly paying attention to Berlin as she spoke up. ”Bella’s gonna be in my next video. Some girl-The Hamada one, went all ninja on her and it was great,” Carmelo explained, since they were talking about Bella. The video would be great, however even then, there was also a pinch of guilt. Yeah, Bella was no one’s favorite person, but was she really a bad person? Or did she just act out since almost no one seemed to tolerate her? ”Though...did you ever think we should be nice to her? I kinda feel bad. I mean, I get it, she’s the school’s resident B...Blueberry tart, but how many friends do you think she has?” The dog boy asked as he got his camera ready.
The natural dog instincts inside him urged him to be friendly towards just about anyone. There were still plenty of people Carmelo disliked, and the eldest Bête princess was indeed on that list. But still. Had anyone tried to extend an olive branch of friendship to the girl? Perhaps Carmelo would have to give it a try, see if Bella would like to willingly participate in one of his videos, maybe share some food with her. Maybe, just maybe, Bella would chill a little if she had more friends. If Carmelo didn’t have any friends, he would probably be kinda rude too.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Carmelo looked back to Berlin, grinning at her, he gave her a thumbs up. ”Ready whenever you are, Berlie, take it away!” He encouraged her happily, bringing his phone up towards his face so he could get a better look at the camera on it. So far, so good.

Laurent Philippe Leclair Son of Lumiere & Plumette
Now, part of Laurie would have liked for nothing more than to tell Lia off. He was loyal through and through to the Bête family, however that wouldn’t stop him from expressing his own emotions and thoughts. However, what stopped him from doing that was seeing Lia remorseful about it. Now, it wasn’t as if Laurie hadn’t been used by a Bête before, that came as one of the prices to being a close family friend of the royal family, who, though he respected every last one of them, it was hard not to notice certain traits that they had picked up over the years. Whether those traits be mean spirited, bratty, undeniably snobbish, or even just a little aggressive, they were all there and sometimes it was hard not to feel used by one of them.
However, Laurie had noticed a pattern of his royal friends either not noticing this, or perhaps they didn’t care. Yet here was Lia, actually upset over this, over upsetting Laurie. That’s what really stuck out to him, and the tall man stood there in quiet surprise as the seconds dragged by, looking down at Lia with big brown eyes. The mood had dropped very quickly from the moment they were outside the kitchen at the painting, to inside the kitchen now. It didn’t sit well with the son of Lumiere and Plumette, causing him to wriggle about in his spot uncomfortably.
Finally, after what felt like forever, Laurie took a breath, glancing at the ground. ”You don’t have to go, Lia,” Laurie started, finally breaking his silence as he reached out for the princess. ”It was just a joke after all-“ a bad one in Laurie’s opinion, but he wouldn’t voice that out loud. ”I might’ve taken it a bit too seriously, it’s okay though, I’m not really mad. I just...well I’m not sure why that’s funny,” Laurie explained softly, approaching the topic as lightly as he could.
Laurie had no desire to send Lia off and end their time together just like that, no matter how he genuinely felt about the joke. Sometimes, honesty want the best policy, sometimes it was better to hold off on everything you felt about a subject, and this was one of those times. If he could convince Lia to stay for just a little longer, everything would be fine.

Blaise Bastian Antoine Augustin Bête Son of Beast & Belle
Blaise blinked, watching Matthias for a second as he rambled. The poor boy seemed like a bit of a nervous wreck, though Blaise couldn’t imagine why. Still though, perhaps he should give him some slack and make things a little easier for his rambling, merman roommate. So, he chuckled softly, smiling at him. ”I might be a prince, Matthias, but I do try to get to know my roommates,” he told him easily, shaking his head in amusement. Yes, Blaise was a Bête, but that didn’t mean he considered himself above everyone else. If anything, he feared more that everyone else expected him to be above everyone else and that was intimidating. It put a lot of pressure on a guy. Blaise didn’t know how Alex dealt with it.
Turning his attention back to Matthias, Blaise leaned back on the tree again, propping his knees up close to his chest. ”That’s a good idea though, for us to get to know each other. We don’t talk much, do we? We are going to be roommates, we might as well get along, don’t you think?” Blaise asked, gently pushing his book aside for now to focus on Matthias. Now, if he was being honest, he’d personally prefer to finish his book. After all, Blaise had been hoping to not be himself today. However, that wasn’t always an option, and it certainly wasn’t one right now. Matthias was clearly trying to make an effort and befriend Blaise, even if he didn’t seem quite so sure of himself. The least Blaise could do was make things easier for the man.
”So, now that we’re both out here, what should we do?” Blaise questioned, looking around at all the grass and trees around them. In all honesty, Blaise was sort of boring. He liked to read, and he had a few other interests as well. However he was expected to be...better than he was, and that left him with a narrow path of what he felt he could and couldn’t do. So instead of risking it, Blaise played it safe. He didn’t step out of line, didn’t try new things, didn’t do anything at all exciting with his life at all.
The most exciting thing he ever did was read.
Sorry Matthias, it seems as if you have picked very boring company to spend time with today.

Montez Rivera Tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
Montez was a decently fast runner, at least for a little bit. He couldn’t do long-distances, he was more of a sprinter, so he was lucky in knowing that they didn’t have to run just too far to get where Darcy more than likely went. While he could gather speed and get down the hallway in perhaps a few steps, he made sure to slow his pace down enough for Toby to pick up as he wasn’t sure just exactly how fast the fox boy could go - he wasn’t exactly the type to start mock races with his friends. He would rather sit around, eat snacks, and talk about possible ships than run.
Just when he was turning to look over his shoulder that’s when it happened. The curse that stuck with Toby like glue.
The son of Miguel and Calliope came to a quick halt, turning to make a few quick steps over to where Toby had fallen. Of course it was too late for him to try and stop the son of Todd and Vixie from falling to the floor, so the best he could do was extend a hand out in hoping to help. ”You okay?” Montez asked, concerned. The need to hurry up washed over him, but he pushed it aside as best he could. Maybe they had a few more seconds to spare before Mr. Bruno realized what had happened to his class, and maybe Darcy would be okay with waiting for them to catch up a little bit longer than originally thought.
Unlike before, the concern that was flashing over his face was real and genuine. Not that it wasn’t earlier, but this time he knew that Toby was actually in pain, that this was not a big act, that this wasn’t what he had done moments before with Mr. Bruno. ”Are you okay?” Asked the demigod, looking frantically between Toby to down the hall to make sure an angry dog man wasn’t coming toward them. Right now the coast was clear so he was able to pay more attention to Toby at the moment. ”Can you walk?” He asked right as he looked down to see the fox boy’s ankle already turning into the stormy colors of a bruise. ”You can hold on to me if you need to.” He wasn’t sure just how bad his friend’s ankle was, but from looking at the bruise he was sure it hurt. Helping his friend out before they got caught was important to Montez - just helping his friend out in general was important to the demigod boy whether they were running away from the detention teacher or not.

Benji Bogo son of chief bogo and clawhauser
They had held hands before. They would hold hands all the time, and even as kids they would do something as simple as clasp their hands together, fingers intertwined. Back then it was just because of how close of friends they were; they were best friends, where one went the other typically followed. They were the bear and the cheetah-water buffalo. The odd yet inseparable duo. Even now as they held hands there was that spark of deeply rooted friendship that made Benji smile. He remembered a time where he had thought girls were disgusting, or maybe not disgusting but more so that boys and girls couldn't be together. He had just naturally assumed that boys got with boys because of his two dads, but he had been quick to find out that it didn't work like that. Now that he was older he understood things like attraction a bit better, and he knew he was attracted to his best friend. A part of him always wanted to say something to Winnie, wanted to tell her how he felt and that his feelings went beyond that comfortable niche of friendship, but he always held back. No matter how badly he wanted to say something to Winnie he was more afraid of slipping up and saying something wrong or, worse, potentially harming their friendship, and that was something Benji was terrified of doing.
He was glad for Winnie’s voice to knock him out of his thoughts. Now wasn’t the time to let such terrible thoughts swamp his mind and ruin their wonderful day.
A beaming smile crossed his chubby little face. Today was beautiful, wasn’t it? The sun was out and warm, the birds were chirping out in the trees, there was even a slight breeze coming in that brought with it the soft scent of wildflowers. Benji caught a whiff of honeysuckle, a bounce in his step as he thought about the amazing little flowers that one could pick and drink the sweet nectar right out of. ”Do you want some honeysuckle?” Benji asked his best friend, looking at her with that large smile still on his face. His stomach growled, telling him that it wanted him to hurry up and set up the pancake picnic, but a quick detour to pick some honeysuckles couldn’t hurt, especially not when they could stand there, pick them, and drink from them right then and there.

Stella Butterfly daughter of star and marco
Stella still had no idea why Auradon thought magic was bad. Magic could be used for so many good things! Like making somebody happy by magically making an extra slice of cake because the cake was gone and somebody really wanted a slice. Magic could be used wrongly, but who would in Auradon? They had sent all the bad people to the Isle so nobody would use magic evilly here, right? Star and Marco had warned their son and daughter about using magic, or rather it had been Marco. Star had suggested they use it anyway. She had been able to use it when she was on Earth years ago and it had helped her with all sorts of problems. The Auradonian King and Fairy Godmother were out of their minds by trying to keep a ban on magic. It just made no sense. Maybe Beast had such a problem with it because he himself possessed no magic and he couldn't bear not having something others below him did. That sounded about right.
For once, though, Stella decided to take another approach to these thoughts. Right in front of her was Adrian Bête, son of the king himself. Surely he would know the answers to all of her questions.
Her eyes went wide as she watched him move around to get to his bed. Had his movements always been that fluid? Stella shook her head. She had an important question to ask the prince. ”Why exactly is magic banned here? Nobody would use it wrongly because all the bad guys were sent away. Is your dad scared of it because he's not magical?” A bold question. Extremely bold. There had been a time when questioning if a monarch was scared of anything would have resulted directly in execution. Knowing the king’s temper an execution could very well be plausible.
As she awaited for a response the young princess couldn't help but launch herself forward, actually making a graceful landing beside Adrian; a sound like that of a purr escaped her. ”What’chu drawing?” She rolled over onto her back, stomach exposed to the world and face turned to where she was looking directly up at the Bête boy. ”Ohhhhh, you should draw me but as a warnicorn!” And then a snicker, ”Draw Saros as Buff Frog, but instead of buff make him like those Earth noodles! What are they called? Spindles? Spoodle noodles? Snoodles. I know it starts with an ‘S’.” The hoodie wearing Mewman racked her brain over and over again as she tried to find the right word.
Then, realization hit her.
Stella leaped up. She grabbed ahold of Adrian’s arms, shaking him with excitement. ”It's spagittum! That's the word, it has to be! Make Saros into Spagittum Frog,” she laughed, so very sure of herself that what she had been trying to think of - spaghetti - was indeed spagittum. Man, a spagittum Saros would be downright hilarious.

Aubriana Dammerüng daughter of aurora and phillip
Were flying books normal? Ana didn’t think so, but she had been out of the whole reality thing for a long time now so maybe she had missed something.
As far as she knew magic was banned. It had been something her parents had told her about ever since she could remember. Magic was banned on Auradon because of all the ways it could be abused, and if there was one person in all of Auradon that knew how magic could be used for evil it was her very own mother, Aurora. Sleeping Beauty. Though that name triggered her so it was best to not say anything about that.
Everybody knew the tale of Princess, now Queen, Aurora. The sorceress of dark magic, Maleficient, had cast a curse upon the young Aurora when she had been but an infant. When she had touched a spindle she had been thrust into a never ending coma. Then came along her mother’s very own version of a Prince Charming - Phillip - and she was saved. It was disgustingly cliche and to this day her parents were still sickly cliche and totally in love. It was disgusting. But that wasn't the point here. Ana knew her mother’s tale that everybody seemed to believe was terrible, but why? Why was Aurora’s curse even considered evil? It wasn't like she had been murdered or tortured, not like she had been forced to go about painful tasks day after day. Instead all the magic had done was put her to sleep. Wow, so evil, Maleficient was such a tyrant. How dare she curse a baby and then make that grown baby sleep. Oh, the horror. Magic was evil and deadly, it made people fall asleep! If anything Ana actually looked up to the “villain” of her mother’s story. Honestly she would do anything to have been in her mother’s place. Get rid of the prince and everything would be just fine. Getting to sleep forever and not worry about anything? Sounded more like a blessing than a curse. Maybe she could one day find a way to break into that barrier around the Isle, get Maleficient, and plead for her to put Ana under a sleeping curse. But not before she shook the woman’s hand and told her, “I’m a big fan, now if you don’t mind I’d love to be asleep”.
But back to if flying books were normal or not.
After a moment Ana decided that, no, flying books were not normal or the ones that she owned would have flown around the room a few times already.
The blonde took a moment to glance over at the guy that was now pointing an accusing finger at her. Who even was he again? She couldn't remember. Good job, you can't even remember some guy's name. Pathetic. Eh, her mind didn't have to remind her of how pathetic she was. Ana knew it already, it was why she wanted to go to her parents’ enemy and ask for a sleeping curse. There were times when even she would forget her own name, times when she was so lost in the dark that nothing could pull her out. A sting on her right wrist reminded her of a time when she had fallen so deep and couldn't get out. It was one of the few times she had lost track of who she was, when she had stepped so far into the shadows and had wanted nothing more than to embrace them. It hadn’t even happened that long ago, the marks relatively fresh compared to others.
Her thoughts jumped back to what was happening right now. She hadn't responded yet and she was sure a good five minutes had passed before she finally found her voice. It was quiet, a simple snowflake falling from the sky and landing silently on the ground. ”I won't say a thing. Not like anybody would believe me,” she added in a ghost of a whisper. Her blue eyes glanced toward the ground as the impact of that statement hit her. She could almost feel herself falter. But something steadied her, something righted her and pushed her down another line of thinking. Ever so slowly Ana looked back to the guy. Ugh, she really wished she could remember his name. Maybe it was something like Magnus or Murdock. Maybe Murdock. That sounded kind of right. Eh, wrong or right she would merely refer to him as Murdock and not even try to say his name out loud.
”How do you do magic?” Okay, not the best put question, but Ana couldn't go back and change it now. Besides, she was an idiot and knew it, so why not just prove that to Murdock as well.

The ginger-haired boy drew back away from the girl ever so slightly, surprised by her blunt, straight-forward personality. He wasn't used to people talking to him like that - like they weren't afraid of him. It was nice to see someone who didn't plan on walking on eggshells around him. Rather than put off by the girl's take-charge attitude, he found it comforting, a nice change of pace.
Green eyes flickered towards the rough drafted schedule that she'd prepared for the two of them. Hot damn, it was even color-coded. For some reason this caused his lips to quirk upwards into a small smile for the briefest of moments, before it was wiped away at the mention of the fact that she'd only had thirty minutes to prepare. That was unsurprising, considering the fact that he'd only been cleared to return to classes this morning. "Sorry 'bout that," Murmured Darc, the smile on his face suddenly cold and slightly mocking. "Crazy doesn't follow a time schedule."
It was safe to say that the girl wasn't afraid to talk. She hardly stopped to draw in a breath, let alone allow him to utter a few words. Darc should have probably been annoyed by the constant chatter, but it was refreshing. He didn't get to make a lot of idle chit-chat with anyone, let alone pretty girls with good intentions. Most people tended to shy away from him and that was okay, really it was, but he was finding that this was equally okay. And so when Raelynne finished her speech about their schedules and the discretion of their meetings, Darc gave her his best attempt at a friendly smile. "We're good," He assured her, a little surprised at his own ability to keep up with her.
"Let me know what I have to do, and I'll do it." Darc said simply, giving a small shrug. "I don't care how long it takes for me to get back on my game, but I will. And I, like, appreciate you helping and everything." The words were dismissive, as if he didn't really want to talk about them -and he didn't- but they were genuine. He hated to ask for help, but that didn't mean it wasn't nice to have. The last thing he wanted was for her to think that he was going to slack off and take advantage of the whole arrangement.
Now that that was out of the way, Darc glanced towards the schedule and then towards his new tutor. "So, where do we start?"

Bethany "Bettie" Benitoite Dwarf Daughter of Bashful
Bettie happily took the water bottle from her girlfriend and took sips of it, the whole bottle gone within a few minutes. She didn’t chug it, but pretty close. If the dwarf girl chugged her water she’d get sick. And that was definitely not attractive. Bashful’s daughter flipped her cheerleading ponytail over her shoulder before considering her girlfriend’s offer, as if she really had to think about it. She knew the answer immediately. “Sure babe. Sounds great.”
Grabbing her hand Bethany took Eloise with her to the locker room. They were roommates and the one person she wasn’t shy getting undressed in front of. Bethany was out of her cheerleading uniform faster than the 3 for 1 sale at the shoe store. Those princesses really knew how to fight for shoes. Wiggling into a pain of denim shorts and her long sleeve shirt that had no back except for the string in the middle tying it together. Taking her ponytail down she winced as she fought the hair spray holding it place and flipped her head forward and fought to let her hair hand naturally on her shoulders, the light auburn hair dangling to her mid back now.
Bettie grabbed her shoes and laced them up, looking at Ellie. “You’re weirdly quiet. Are you sure you’re okay Ellie?” The concern was obvious on Bettie’s face as she stood up and caressed her girlfriend’s cheeks. Something was off, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Their little moment was interrupted as the cheer squad began entering the locker room. “Crap.” She muttered and took Ellie’s hand, leading the girl out of the room, not wanting to be overwhelmed by the crowds again.
“Let’s grab some food from the cafeteria and then we can sit under the big oaks and snuggle in the shade. How does that sound Ellie?”
She offered, trying to do both of her girlfriend’s ideas. Honestly, she was starving and wanted to get something to eat, but if Ellie wasn’t hungry yet the dwarf girl was more than willing to wait until later. She often did that, not voicing so much what she wanted, but what she thought would make her girlfriend happy.

Pandora Pink Daughter of Piglet
Pandora nodded and shrugged. “Alright. Swimsuits it is.” She never questioned Teddy’s style, not a day in her life. Not even as kids. In fact, she had her own set of matching leg warmers, but she didn’t wear them that often. Pandora argued that it was simply too hot and after the heat stroke from last summer she was actually afraid of overheating again. Fainting was not high on her fun things to do list, that was certain.
Pandora had to walk quickly to keep up with him, though even then she struggled with what she claimed was ‘short leg syndrome.’ Teddy always had to slow down for her and she felt bad, but the only way she could keep up with him was on her board. So, the girl strapped on her helmet and set the board down and kicked off to a quick rhythm, to catch up to her best friend, then slowed it down so she kept pace with him.
“I broke them all. I gotta buy some new ones. Or I lost them. Who knows?”
She shrugged and skated beside him all the way to the convenience store where she always bought her hair ties. It was the only place that sold them by the 100s. Kicking up her board she climbed off easily and grabbed the board, not bothering to take off her helmet as she went inside and grabbed not 1 or 2, or even 3, but 4 packs of the 100 pack hair ties.
The owner chuckled and rung her up. Pandora paid for them and shoved them in her backpack, calling out a thanks and hurrying back outside to Teddy, waiting for her. “Alright, let’s get back to the dorms and change then we can hunt down a place to swim. Sound good?” She asked, her eyes sparkling excitedly, if she were him she’d be bouncing by this point, but she managed to restrain herself.

Selene Sapphire Dwarf Daughter of Sneezy
It was safe to say Selene was surprised by her actions. She’d basically just asked out a prince. Dwarves don’t get princes and happy endings with a castle, well not entirely anyway. Her father ended up in a castle, but as a servant to Snow White. And her she was asking a prince to go swimming with her. Was she crazy? Definitely. Maybe she could just not go, and they could pretend like it never happened. The look on his face didn’t look like one of happiness. It wasn’t angry, but it didn’t scream excitement. Maybe he just wouldn’t show at all. Yeah. Maybe then she could pretend it never happened. Fingers crossed.
Selene booked it up to the dorms, deciding to change out of her uniform when she got there. Selene let down her dark hair and brushed the hair spray out. It was painful, but she managed after several attempts. Taking a shaky breath she looked at herself in her vanity before looking around the messy room. This was going to take absolutely forever.
Sure enough she was right. An hour later and Selene was still finding random items of clothing under things and behind beds. She’d already had to dig two socks out of the vacuum. Honestly, she didn’t understand why they had to clean their own dorms. It would just take a flick of a wand and poof it would be clean, but no. Instead it built character. Okay, maybe she was complaining a little too much to herself, but what could the girl say? She hated to clean, a habit she picked up from her father. After all it was Snow White who finally hauled out her father’s and uncle’s home, not them.
Once the vacuuming was done, laundry was gathered, and the beds were made she collapsed on the chair at the vanity and checked her phone on the charger. She hadn’t even realized it was on silent, forgetting she had muted it so it didn’t ring during the game.

Raelynne Maya Angela Darling Daughter of Wendy Darling
Raelynne looked up at his apology and frowned. She could care less about his reasons for the short notice. It wasn’t her job to worry about the rumors, though she knew they were there looming around the boy and probably around her now. She wasn’t oblivious to the looks they were getting whenever someone passed them by. “Honey I could care less about your reasoning. It’s not my business, nor should it be anyone else’s. You’ve got your story and I’ve got mine. So crazy better learn to follow my schedule because I am a very busy girl.”
Her frown turned into a soft smile and she just shrugged before looking down at her packets once more. Math had the most work, so they could start there. Realizing the boy was talking to her she lifted her gaze from the papers to his hot face. Why did he have to be so attractive? It was really distracting. This was gonna suck sometimes. For sure. Anyway. “I believe you can get back up there it’s just going to be a lot of time with me.”
Not that she could complain about that situation. He may be crazy, but damn. He was fine to look at. Her phone began to buzz beside her in her blazer jacket. She pulled it out and shut off her alarm. “Speaking of. Can you run? Because I need to get to practice and we need to keep talking about this.” She gestured to the chaotic stacks of papers in front of her. Actually, it wasn’t really a mess, it was well organized, there was just a lot of it.
Raelynne began packing them up in stacks, slipping the appropriate stack of papers into each proper folder, she’d matched the class color to the folder color, but he didn’t need to know how really organized she was and well needed to be. Raelynne didn’t do disorganized. Not one bit. Ever her sock drawer was organized, her closet color coded and set by season. Her desk was always clean, bed always made, never a mess, which was nice for her roommates, but honestly a bit extreme in some people’s eyes.
“I could lend you a pair of shorts and a t-shirt if you need them. I have various sizes and colors.” And prepared. That girl was always ready for anything. Except for this meeting. She’d been very unprepared, and she didn’t like that one bit. Standing up she slipped the folders into her bag, only leaving out his copy of the schedule. The girl slid her blazer over her shoulders and then her bag over one.
“Walk with me pretty boy. We need to discuss math. That seems to be the one with the biggest number of hoops to jump through. Three units, six quizzes, and three unit tests. Plus, like 25 worksheets and more book work than I care to think about. English only was one unit plus an essay, so that won’t be as hard to catch up in, plus they started a novel like two weeks ago, so you’ll have to read that too."
Raelynne sure knew how to never shut up, that was certain. She wasn’t one to slow down for small talk. She had placed to be and things to do. Planning was one of her favorite pastimes. She could plan his work upwards, backwards, and three ways from Sunday if she really wanted to. Raelynne knew he’d judge her for her odd worker bee complex, but she was pretty used to that at this point in her life.

Eloise Arendelle daughter of elsa
It wasn't unusual for Eloise to head down to the locker room with her girlfriend after games. Not only were they roommates, but they were dating, that much was obvious. Seeing one another in the bare minimum of clothing wasn't anything out of the ordinary for the two, and if Ellie had to be honest she quite enjoyed the sight of a barely dressed Bettie. But right now wasn't the time for such thoughts, not really. The daughter of Elsa needed to keep her mind on other things, more important things. As if helping her remember she was sure she felt the surprise in her pocket begin to burn her through her jeans. It wasn't actually burning her, but it felt like it was. It was a reminder of just how important this moment was, not just for her, but for their relationship as well.
These thoughts were pulled away from her mind when her girlfriend's voice broke through them. Don't feel guilty about holding back, she told herself. Bettie is going to get to know soon enough. That thought alone helped the young woman feel better about all of this, made her feel a bit better about worrying Bettie.
"I'm fine, positive. You don't have to worry about me at all," she responded with a warm smile pulling at her lips. Yeah, she was nervous about what she was going to do, but it would soon be over. Soon she would do it, it would be over with. She just needed to keep telling herself that and everything would be good. Unless Bettie took it negatively...but surely she wouldn't. There was no reason for her to do so, right? Ellie could only hope so.
Once again she was brought out of her worries when Bettie spoke up. Ellie nodded, a happy shine glinting in her eyes. "That sounds perfect, my love." She tightened her grip around Bettie's hand just a tad, wanting to feel as close to the Dwarf girl as she possibly could. A soft hum vibrated against her throat as she started to make her way to the cafeteria. She couldn't help but sneak little glances at Bettie from time to time, telling herself over and over again that she was the luckiest girl in the world to have been noticed by Bethany Dwarf, let alone to be dating her.

Bethany "Bettie" Benitoite Dwarf Daughter of Bashful
Bethany nodded, and held her girlfriend’s hand happily as they walked to the cafeteria. She was positively starving, the foolish dwarf hadn’t eaten before the game, besides a granola bar. Then again, she never ate before a game. She was far too nervous that she would throw it all up. That was terrifying in itself. Deciding to trust her girlfriend she didn’t question it anymore. If she said she was fine, then she was fine. Ellie had never lied to her before, so why would she start now?
Bettie was certain she wouldn’t, so she focused on the food instead. Grabbing a premade sub for herself, an apple, and a bag of chips, she stuffed them into her back pack, then grabbed an orange juice and looked at her girlfriend, waiting for her to grab her food. Once all the food was grabbed and put in the bag she zipped it up and grabbed Eloise’s hand again.
Together they walked out to the big oaks and sat in the shade, where Bettie handed her girlfriend her meal and took out her own. She sipped the orange juice first before taking a bite of her apple. She always made a point to eat the fruit or vegetable of her meal first so that way when she got hungry she would have at least eaten the healthy thing first. Looking at her girlfriend she smiled softly before taking another bite of her apple. She wiped her face off with a napkin then rested her head on the girl’s shoulder. “I like this. I like when it’s just us.”

Anubus Olympia Son of Zeus and Aphrodite
It was going to be a very long day. School was a drag. Everything was a drag actually. He should be living it up on Olympus, but instead his father had decided that his new generation of gods should live as mortals instead. Like okay. That's exactly what they wanna do. So he and his pack of siblings were dropped into Auradon of all places and forced to attend high school.
Like the girls were hot, but it wasn't like he could actually settle with any of them. They were mortal and would die and he didn't plan on being like his father and spawning a whole generation. Though he probably could with the amount of girls he flirted with. One in particular had caught his attention though. A Miss. Fix-It in particular. How he'd managed to get her to go out with him he wasn't sure. She wasn't one to hang around with players and he knew that was his reputation at the school. Anubus flirted with any girl he wasn't related to in that school. Except Bella. Even he had standards.
Felicity was a nice girl. Particularly nice looking, but also a really great personality. He'd originally gone in for a hook up, but 30 minutes into their first date and he'd forgotten all about it. Anubus hadn't even kissed her good night, not until the third date anyway.
Anubus was trying to prove he wasn't just a player to her. A few girls had issues with her getting attention from him, but he honestly could care less. It's really cliche, but she made him a better guy. She took a player and whipped him into shape and she hadn't even meant to. Though her Let's Fix It attitude was a bit much sometimes he saw the spitfire in her and he wanted more. Felicity was important to him, weird as the concept was to him. In fact. She was his favorite part of being in Auradon.
Looking at the clock he realized he was going to be late to first period and that just wouldn't do. Felicity was actually in that class. The only class he had with her actually. Now that he sat behind her and pestered her through the whole class he actually loved it. Before it had been, well, a drag. Woah buddy. You can't act like this. You're supposed to be chill. Not care. Talking himself down he walked into class with the last bell and headed for his seat.
Any thought he'd had about just being chill was gone the moment he saw her. Damn. Sitting behind her the boy lightly swished her hair. "Still gonna sit with me at lunch?" He asked softly, so the teacher wouldn't overhear them. They'd been on five dates now. Shared two kisses and sat at lunch together three times. Not that he was counting or anything.

Georgina "GiGi" Garnet Dwarf Daughter of Grumpy
Georgina ran the straightener over her blonde hair slowly, making sure that every strand was nice and straight. Setting the hot iron down she ran her brush through her smooth hair. Perfect. Applying one last layer of lipgloss she rubbed her lips together, they were a bright glossy pink. "Perfectly kissable. He will kiss me today. He will." She told her reflection, as if saying it out loud would make it more true. Her boyfriend of three and a half months hadn't kissed her yet. He hugged her, held her hand, and cuddled with her, but like not even really intimate cuddling. He held her in his arms and went to sleep. There was no foreplay, no nothing, but it was nice. It kept her nightmares away.
Georgina sighed. 14 weeks was long enough. Blaise would kiss her today if it was the last thing she would do. Standing up she slid the white headband into her hair, holding it nicely in place. She wasn't sure what it did besides compliment her white skirt and pink long sleeve v-neck. Stepping into her pink pumps she smacked her lips once more and slipped her backpack onto her shoulder. It would happen. Today is the day.
Today was not the day. All day she'd tried to get him to kiss her and he just didn't. Again he just held her at arms length. It was seriously frustrating. She'd even gone so far as to stop him after lunch and literally ask for him to kiss her. Then he hugged her and went to his next class. After that Georgina avoided him and well everyone else, because she was now hiding in the library behind stacks of books, sniffling. She hated that she was crying over this. But what could she say? She felt gross. Her own boyfriend wouldn't even kiss her. Was she that bad?
Georgina wiped her tears quickly without smudging her makeup and decided to skip the rest of her classes, which her boyfriend would surely notice, she hoped. Maybe it would get some kind of reaction out of him. They had the last two classes of the day together. Surely he would notice her absence?
Wrong. If he had noticed he hadn't even texted her. Georgina was now in her bed, ankle deep in tissues and raging inside. He hadn't even texted her to ask where she was. Nothing. Nada. The only one who had was Winona. Her wonderful bunny. Winona had gym with her and they usually partnered up, since GiGi didn't really get alone with anyone else in that class and because Winona was her friend. She was always nice to her, and listened to all of her 'drama.' Meaning Blaise of course. Poor girl. That happened a lot.
Luckily for Georgina. Winona offered to come up and hang out with her because GiGi no longer felt like going out for smoothies. If anyone could cheer the dramatic dwarf girl up it was Winona. Her favorite rabbit.

Tobias Vincent Tweed Son of Tod & Vixie
Toby looked at his ankle, frowning slightly as he ran his hands along his ankle, rubbing the bruised spot softly. It ached a little, the kind of pain where it bulged out a little, throbbing just enough for him to feel his veins pumping blood through the injured area. While it did hurt, it honestly looked a lot worse than it actually felt. Or maybe by now Toby was just so used to the pain that it didn’t bother him as much as it probably should. What could he say? He was a hardy fox, plenty tougher than he looked.
So, after a quick check up on his ankle, Toby got up to his feet, testing his foot out on the ground by placing some pressure on it. Pain shot down to the bruise again, but it wasn’t all that bad. He’d live. So Toby nodded to Montez, finally paying the other boy some attention. ”I’m fine, it’s just a bruise, come on, we should get out of here before Mr. Bruno catches us,” he told his demigod friend, already turning to leave, picking up speed. He couldn’t go too fast due to his ankle, but he should manage to go fast enough to get away before they ended up in detention instead of the class they had just freed.
Sadly for Toby, the universe wasn’t quite done with him yet. Though then again, was it ever done with him? Probably not.
Right as Toby turned the corner, he came face to face with another kid and tumbled into them. He was able to free himself from the tangled mess of limbs they had become only to trip over a rug and stumble forward again. Toby flailed his arms around, taking one large step after the next in a desperate attempt to stop himself from falling flat on his face again. Luckily, his large and overly ridiculous steps did stop himself from falling to the ground a second time, however it did not prevent the fox from running face first into one of the painting hanging on the wall.
The painting shook back and forth on the wall before if fell over as Toby tumbled back, the panting crashing on top of him, his head ripping through the top of it, then, losing his balance, Toby tumbled forward a bit more until he finally couldn’t stand any longer and fell flat on his rear.
Toby let out a groan, sitting there with a ripped painting around his neck, foot tangled up in another rug, and a very sore bottom. Now that would hurt tomorrow. The fox boy looked around at the mess and sighed, slouching forward a little. ”Just a day in the life of Tobias Vincent Tweed, huh?” Toby grumbled under his breath, not bothering to get just up yet.

Merlion Hugo Sumnar Son of Merlin & Witch Hazel
Merlion stood on edge, watching the princess as he waited for her to do something. However she never did, and by now the appropriate time to respond had passed. He frowned, taking a step closer to her. ”...Maybe she’s in some sort of trance,” He mused to himself, cupping his chin in his hand. ”Cleo, what do you think?” He asked, giving a side glance to the cat in the corner. Cleo flicked her tail up and down, patting it along the ground for a moment before she got to her feet and stretched, yawning.
Slowly the cat sauntered on over to join Merlion, hopping gracefully up to his shoulder, somehow managing to balance on his shoulders. ”Give her a minute, I’m sure she’ll respond soon. You shouldn’t be so hasty, Merlion,” she chastised him with a flick of her tail, which whacked Merlion in the face.
He frowned and moved the tail to the side. ”Hmm, well maybe she didn’t actually see the books. Come on Cleo, we could just leave now, no one has to know,” He said and turned to leave, the cat falling back down to the floor to pad alongside him.
Merlin got a few feet away when Ana finally spoke up again and he cringed, sucking in a breath as he swore. So she did see. Just had some sort of delayed reaction. Well, this was okay. He could work with this. He was the magnificent Merlion Sumnar, there was nothing he couldn’t handle. So, after a pause, he twirled back around on the heels of his feet until he was facing the princess once again. ”Listen, if you want to learn about magic, the first rule is to never mention it out in the open,” he told her and gestured around to the library with a small huff. At least his “students” knew not to talk about magic so openly. Anyone could enter the library at any given time. ”The second rule is to not ask questions unless you can learn magic. I don’t need some frilly tutu princess running off to tell the Fairy Godmother that books were flying around,” he continued, taking a few steps to her.
”Now, if you don’t mind me, your highness, I have business to attend to,” the young warlock said, turning again to walk off. However he only made it a step or so when he was stopped by Cleo, who had sat herself down in front of him, giving him a rather pointed stare for a cat. Merlion frowned, looking down at her, and for a good minute, they just held a silent staring contest until finally, Merlion sighed and gave Ana a once over glance. ”Why do you want to know how to do magic anyways? It’s banned, and you’re a princess. I thought all of you wanted to follow the rules.”
This probably wasn’t good for the good boy reputation he had worked so hard to build up, but honestly, she had already seen him use magic, he might as well drop the act now instead of stupidly try to salvage any of it left.

Theodore Kasper Tiger Son of Tigger and Kanga
Once they got to the convenience store, Teddy stayed outside, letting Pandora grab what she needed by herself. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to join her, however the bouncing boy had a hard time staying still, and the convenience store was not very big. The chances of Teddy crashing into a rack of something or bouncing right into one of the shelves was very likely and it just seemed like the wiser option to him to stay outside where he could bounce around while Pandora bought whatever she needed.
Which luckily didn’t take long and soon enough his small, pink haired friend was back outside, ready to join him for another fun adventure. Teddy grinned down at her, already starting it bounce off once again. ”Great! Now that you have your hair stuff, we can go, come on!” He told her, planting his foot down on the ground to kick forward, bouncing off without so much of a second thought, though he did try to slow down a little as soon as he remembered that Pandora couldn’t go quite as fast as he could.
It didn’t take them too long to get back to the dormitories, and as soon as they were, Teddy raced to his room to change. He considered himself rather lucky actually as far as dorms went, considering there had been an argument when he first attended the school on whether he should be in the boy’s dormitory or not. In the end, enough people had been on his side and he had been placed alongside the other boys. Teddy would always be grateful for that, and he had some pretty great roommates too. Whitley, a duck boy, and Darc, the son of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. He didn’t actually talk to his roommates all that much, but they were still great.
After a quick change from his usual attire to something more fitting for swimming, Teddy headed back out to the meeting place he and Pandora had chosen, waiting for his pink friend to arrive. Then, after that, the real fun could begin.

Florian Rainer Fitzherbert Son of Rapunzel & Eugene
Fitz might’ve been freaking out just a little, was this happening? Was he actually going on a date with Selene Dwarf? It seemed impossible to him. Sure he was a prince, but those were so common here you could have your pick of them. Picking a prince was like picking flowers, they were everywhere, plenty to choose from. Being a prince was as common as...as...as being something really common on Auradon...like princes. So how on earth out of all of the options out there, did Selene choose to ask him out? Maybe it was a trick...no, Selene was way too nice for that, it was one of the things he liked about her.
Maybe she thought this was like, a friend date. Yeah, that was it, Selene probably invited him out to go swimming in the way friends do. For all he knew, there might even be more people there, he shouldn’t get his hopes up, this was obviously not a date-date, what was he thinking? Fitz you idiot, of course it isn’t a date-date, don’t get your hopes up.
After reprimanding himself for thinking about this too much, Fitz actually did feel a little better. Disappointed too that this was clearly not an actual date, but he did feel better. Which was a good thing, since he had just spent the last hour or so doing nothing but pace from one end of his room to the other. Fitz pulled his phone out, looking at the time. It was getting late...did they ever settle on a time to go swimming? He couldn’t remember. Maybe he should text Selene just to check.
So that’s what he did. He sent her a quick text asking when they were supposed to go swimming. Then that text was followed by a couple more, checking to make sure they were actually going swimming and asking if he was being annoying. Finally, after the fourth text, Fitz forced himself to put his phone down on his bed stand, plopping down onto his bed with his face smushed against the pillow.
He was so pathetic, and probably annoying. He needed to calm down or something, even if this was a date-date, Selene would probably want to back out now. Fitz groaned, hugging the pillow up against his face. ”Why am I so bad at this?” He asked out loud, voice muffled from the pillow.

Felicity Callalily Fix-it Daughter of Fix it Felix & Sergeant Calhoun
School had always been very important to Felicity Fix-it. Unlike most people at her age, she already knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life, and if she really wanted to be a police officer, she had to do well in her classes now. It wasn’t something she could afford to mess up. Which was why for as long as she could remember, Felicity hadn’t allowed any sort of distractions from her goal. She was of course, friendly enough with everyone, because she believed in treating others with kindness, no matter what, but she did keep to herself outside of school, except for hanging out with Honoka anyways. Nothing could ruin this for her, and friends could be a distraction. Other than Honoka, Felicity had made sure not to have any friends that might distract her. More than that she had kept any other possible distractions out of her life as well. Including boys.
Well, that is, until Anubus Olympia came along and ruined everything.
Now, when Felicity thought about the guys she might like - she did allow herself that at least - Anubus was not on that list. Her list had included people like Vincent Tweed, Basu Singh, Hi-hi Onyoya, Eddie Mode, maybe even Khari Negasi. Good, sensible, smart boys that Felicity could see herself getting along with.
Not Anubus.
When she had first met him, and had decided that he was one of those players that didn’t care about the girls he flirted with or anything at all, really. It had been easy to dismiss him and carry on with her day. However somehow, she had agreed to go on a single date with him, perhaps to simply get him off her back. It was only supposed to be one date and then she could go back to her life. However, one date had turned into two, and then two into three, and well, you get the point.
It was silly...no it was more than just silly, it was flat out ridiculous, but here she was, enjoying any moments she spent with the Olympian boy. She scribbled little hearts in her notebook, she’d find herself distracted by him even when he wasn’t around. It was getting to be a real problem for the girl, and she fixed problems. However, this was one case where Felicity just wasn’t exactly sure how, or if she even wanted to fix it. Felicity was truly enjoying being with Anubus, despite how silly that sounded to her, and she honestly just wasn’t sure if she actually wanted to change that.
So when he entered the classroom, Felicity looked up from her notebook, smiling over at him. ”Hi,” she greeted as soon as he sat down in his seat. ”Of course, so long as you don’t mind me sitting next to you,” she told him quietly, glancing over her shoulder to look at him. Class would be starting soon, which meant that she had to focus, but until then she saw no reason why she couldn’t talk to Anubus. Just until class started.

Winona Bunny Rabbiton Daughter of The White Rabbit & Rea
Winona gently moved her paintbrush along the canvas, a steady splash of blue trailing after the tips of the brush as color burst into life on the canvas. Winona paused for a second, pulling her paintbrush away to look at the painting. It was rather simple, not even done yet. But one day, it would hopefully become a fully finished painting of Wonderland, the home of her father and a place that was quite absent now due to so many of the inhabitants being thrown to the Isle. It wasn’t really fair, but what could be done about it? The king didn’t want mad people here. Winona was lucky her father was considered sane enough to stay on Auradon.
The girl smiled fondly at the work in progress painting, nodding in approval. ”There, that looks good, doesn’t it, Twizzler?” She asked in her naturally soft voice as she looked behind her where a rabbit was idly chewing on a small toy next to her watch. ”My watch! I’ve been looking everywhere for that! Twizzler, you found it!” Winona said rather happily as she put the paintbrush down to go and grab her watch. She rubbed her thumb along it, getting rid of any dust that might’ve clung to the surface.
Everything was fine until Winona actually looked at the time and her red eyes went wide. ”I’m late!” Oh no, she couldn’t be late for this, she’d already promised to meet up with GiGi today, after noticing she had missed out on gym. Winona couldn’t be late for this. ”I’m late...oh no, oh no, oh no,” Winona begins to panic as she shoved the watch into her pocket and scrambled to leave.
Twizzler was hurriedly placed back into his rabbit pen, while the paint was quickly put away, quite messily as well, and soon the girl ended up with more paint decorating her body than before, but she didn’t seem to mind. Instead she grabbed some shoes and a purple scrunchy as she rushed out the door, hopping on one foot as she tried to tie her shoes and pull her long white hair back into a ponytail. ”I can’t believe I’m late again...” Winona chastised herself, finally getting her shoes on properly and hair pulled back as neatly as she could in such a rush.
After that the girl picked up speed, hopping quickly through the halls until she found herself standing in front of GiGi’s dormitory door. Winona knocked, pulling out her watch one last time to check the time, and instantly she cringed. Oh she was late, hopefully GiGi wouldn’t be too upset with her for being so late.
So she pocketed the watch once again and waited for someone to answer the door - it was rude to just walk inside - her hair was a mess, and paint splotches covered her clothing and her skin. She was a good 43 minutes late, and one of her shoe laces had come untied again. But she was there, and ready to listen and comfort GiGi.

Eloise Arendelle daughter of elsa
The daughter of Elsa had never really been a big eater. If she could get away with eating just an apple or banana a day then she was totally satisfied, but she had gotten a few talking to’s about her light eating habits, especially from her darling girlfriend. In her opinion it wasn't like she needed to eat anything more than one thing a day. She wasn't underweight or unhealthy or anything of that nature. For her height she was perhaps one or two pounds under, but what was a pound or two? Nobody could be perfect. While she hated to he judgmental about other people she had to admit that she at least wasn't like that one daughter of Aurora and Phillip. Aubriana, or Ana as she went by. The poor girl looked like she could have come straight from the Isle she was so thin. A literal walking skeleton, but that was enough judging for one day. Ellie had other things to ponder and worry over, like what she was going to do within the next thirty minutes more than likely.
Following along with her girlfriend the princess of Arendelle grabbed an orange. She debated for a moment if she should even get anything else, but knowing Bette she would make her get more than just a singular fruit. Without much thought to it the princess grabbed a sub much like the one Bettie had. Even if she didn't eat it she was sure somebody else would take it. Maybe she could hand it off to one of her cousins later. But right now wasn't time for such thoughts. She had other things to tend to.
Hand in hand the two girls walked out to the large oaks that towered above even the tallest of students and teachers. She smiled at the girl she was with when handed her own food. ”Thanks.” Ellie couldn't stop herself from adding a quick peck on the cheek before opening the water she had grabbed and taking a sip. She then peeled her orange and took a few bites before turning her gaze back on Bettie. Butterflies fluttered in the pit of her stomach. It was now or never. If she let her nerves get the best of her now she knew she would never be able to do this.
It was made a little easier when Bettie rested her head against Ellie’s shoulder. The daughter of Elsa smiled. ”I do, too.” She needed to do it now. Right now.
”Hey, Bettie…” The butterflies were furious now, threatening to choke her. ”There's something I've been meaning to do.” There was no pulling back from this now. What was started had to be finished whether or not she felt like she could handle it.

Montez Rivera Tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
By now it was too late to continue worrying. That thought alone made Montez feel bad, but there was nothing else he could do right now other than make sure Toby was following behind him. They needed to get to Darcy as soon as they could and they needed to get to her definitely before Mr. Bruno could catch up to them. He was sure to be on to them by now. If they didn’t watch it they’d be the ones in detention tomorrow. They probably would be no matter if they made it back to Darcy or not. Mr. Bruno wasn’t dumb. By now he knew exactly what they had done. The only one that was probably save was Darcy. Surely she of all people hadn’t been spotted.
And then, like always, Toby’s curse came into play.
”Cajeta,” he cursed under his breath, or rather, used the name of a dessert in place of an actual curse. It was something both he and his best friend, Carmelo, did. What with their lives revolving around so much food it was only second nature for the two of them to bring food into just about any situation. But enough of that.
The first two accidents had only slowed them down; it wasn’t until the third one that completely stopped the duo. Yeah, at this rate they were for sure getting put into school jail.
Montez came to a halt before pivoting around to retrace his steps back to where Toby had succumbed to the wrath of the wall painting. Even though they had limited time that was almost up the demigod couldn’t help but take a moment to snicker at the fox’s misfortune. ”What are the odds that something like that actually happens? Just wait until Darcy hears about this,” he laughed, needing a moment to get out the amusement before he was back to business. ”Alright, just stay where you are.” Montez grabbed a hold of the ruined painting and jerked forward, stumbling a bit as he managed to get it off his friend. Not sure where else he could put it he just sat it down near the wall, hoping that was a good enough spot. Somebody would come by and do something about it eventually.
Knowing that letting Toby run on his own would only hinder their progress all the more, Montez came up with a plan right on the spot. It was perhaps wild, but it needed to be done.
Taking a deep breath to prepare himself he leaned down and grabbed Toby by the sides right under his arms. ”Don’t move, okay?” The first few tries didn’t go so smoothly, with him stumbling back with Toby in his hands. Not one to give up it wasn’t until the fifth try that he managed to pick the fox boy up and, with a few grunts and wheezes, bring him up over his shoulder. He was a bit lopsided now with the extra weight on one side, but he could do this. He was a demigod and they could do anything.
”Hold on,” he told Toby as he himself tightened his grip on the fox and started down the halls once more.

Aubriana Dammerüng daughter of aurora and phillip
The cat was talking. Ana was pretty sure that was just about as normal as books floating in the air all on their own. She wasn’t the smartest person around, not by a long shot, but that just wasn’t realistic. Or, rather, none of that could happen without some sort of magic there. Murdock was bound to be some really important guy if he had been able to get all those books in the air and then have a talking cat. Some really important magical guy. Who even were his parents? Ugh, if she couldn’t remember his name what made her think she would remember who had spawned the blue haired guy? Either way it didn’t matter. He would be gone before Ana could even really say much to him. He’d realize what a waste of his time it was to be around her. The blonde gave him about thirty seconds until that happened.
Yup. There he went. Or, well, there he almost went.
Ana remained silent as the guy turned back to eye her. She had never been good at reading expressions but for once she could easily make out something like frustration taut in his muscles. Was it frustration? Now she wasn’t even sure what it was. Maybe disgust? Probably. It was a feeling everybody felt when around her. Maybe she shouldn’t have opened her mouth to say anything. She should have just let the guy walk out of the library so he could spend his time doing something worthwhile, yet she had to go ahead and say something. Good going, Ana. You’ve probably just ruined this guy’s day.
Oh. He wasn’t very happy with her. Why did it still surprise her that people hated her?
She couldn’t meet his gaze. Instead she found herself staring down at his shoes, and sometimes even then she looked at the floor. Even looking at his shoes felt like she was doing something wrong. She was just some frilly tutu princess, wasn’t she? She had the title of royalty to her name and blood, but that was about all she had to give to the world. And even then being royal wasn’t anything special. How many princes and princesses attended just Auradon Prep? And how many more were there outside of these walls? Here at Auradon even being royal wasn’t anything to be proud of. There was nothing in Ana that she could be proud of, nothing about her that she could say was important to anybody or anything. She was worthless, and you know, it actually felt good to have somebody else remind her of that rather than her own mind reminding her.
Why was he still here? Hadn’t he just implied he was leaving? The princess finally looked up at him, but only to give him a look of confusion in her icy blue eyes. He was just wasting more time being here with her. He would enjoy himself a lot more if he went with his cat to his room or something, anywhere but where Ana was. Yet she didn’t say that. Instead she pulled the stupid card and continued with the conversation at hand.
”It’s...it’s just always been interesting,” she murmured, hands fiddling with one another. ”I never understood why it was banned…” Honestly, what had been the worst thing to happen with magic? And if everybody on Auradon were “good guys” why would magic be used for “evil”? Then again, Ana probably just thought these thoughts due to craving the use of magic to put her out of her misery. So far nothing else she had tried had taken her out of her misery. How many times had she tried so far? Four? Five? If typical ways weren’t working then surely magic would. Would that be using magic for evil if it was on herself? Surely not. Then again, why did she care if it was evil or good anyway? It wasn’t like anything mattered in the grand scheme of things.

Merlion Hugo Sumnar Son of Merlin & Witch Hazel
Merlion listened to her excuse with a small frown decorating his features. She found it interesting. He had heard that one before. Magic was interesting after all, and far more complex than anyone ever gave it credit. For as long as he could remember, magic had been apart of his life. He was learning how to use magic before he could walk. The ban had never stopped his parents from teaching him how to harness and use those abilities of his. He was only sixteen now, but he had spent every possible moment he could out of those sixteen years, learning how to use his magic. To him, nothing could be more interesting in the world than magic was, and he would never understand why the king had banned it in the first place.
”It is interesting,” Merlion agreed tartly, facing the wall opposite to Ana. ”The ban never made sense to me either,” he told her, still refusing to actually look at the girl. After all, Merlion still planned on leaving. His only worry was that Ana might tell someone anyways. Just because she found magic to be interesting, didn’t mean she was trustworthy to know he used it. Maybe he could cast a spell on her, fog her memory a bit, no one would ever have to know-except he would know, and Merlion had promised his father to never use magic selfishly on someone else and Merlion wasn’t about to break a promise, especially to his father.
While Merlion debated what to do, Cleo seemed to have decided that enough was enough and turned back around to walk over to Ana, sitting down in front of the girl as she looked up at her, tail swishing back and forth again. ”You should come with us,” the familiar told her. ”We can’t trust you not to say anything just yet, I’m sure you can understand why,” she continued, eyes fixated upon the princess, never once straying from her for a second.
Merlion let out a groan, leaning back on the wall as he watched Cleo interact with the girl. Of course Cleo would want to bring the princess along with them, she probably wanted to clear the air a little and make sure there wasn’t a repeat of the last time Merlion had been caught doing magic when it was clear that he shouldn’t be.

Tobias Vincent Tweed Son of Tod & Vixie
This was just great, just absolutely dandy it was. Here they were, trying to make an escape before they were caught, and Toby had a painting on his head. This was getting to the point of cartoonish bad luck and Toby just wasn’t having it, not today. He grumbled as he tried to remove the painting from his head, however it wasn’t until Montez came to help that they were able to remove the painting and place it to the side. Toby smiled slightly, proud of the little victory of theirs. He had been about ready to get up and try again as well, however Montez had other plans.
Toby frowned again, looking up at the other boy suspiciously. ”What are you doin-“ Toby never had time to finish his question, as after that was when Montez decided it was a better idea to simply lift Toby up off the ground and haul him off like a sack of potatoes. It took a few tries as well, but soon enough, Toby found himself draped over Montez’s shoulders as if he were nothing but a bag of flower.
Needless to say, Toby was not amused. ”Montez, put me down,” he ordered, though that didn’t seem to do much in this case. This was one of those situations where Toby would just have to suck it up, wouldn’t it? He was all too used to those sort of situations. Didn’t mean he enjoyed them anymore than anyone else would though.
What was even worse was that this did seem to get the job done faster than if Toby was running alongside Montez like he had been before. It was a little humiliating, but at least this way Toby couldn’t trip and fall again, and that did shave off some time from their escape.
The worst part was running into Darcy again.
The duck girl spotted them a few hallways away and waved for them to come over, however as soon as they were close enough for her to actually get a look, her quack-laughter erupted from her like a volcano. Toby flushed with embarrassment. ”Qua-ha-ha-ha-ha, he’s ha-qua-ha, he looks like a quah-hah-ha, sack of potatoes!” Darcy laughed, unable to contain herself as she looked at Montez and Toby, clutching her stomach.
Toby frowned again, huffing. ”It wasn’t my idea,” he retorted, as if somehow that would stop the daughter of Donald and Daisy Duck from laughing.
It didn’t.

Berlin Silverlake daughter of Bolt and Mittens "Wow, can't wait to see that," Berlin said. It sounded amusing, and the actress-in-the-making would enjoy seeing that. Perhaps it was irresponsible and bad to enjoy seeing someone simply attack another person- call it a guilty pleasure, but it wasn't as though Berlin enjoyed seeing anyone get hurt in it. It would probably depend on the reason robo-girl was attacking princess supreme.
Princess Supreme on the matter, Berlin could not say she really liked the princes. When Carmelo suggested that more people should try to be nice to her, she didn't bite back the scoff. "She has her friends. We have ours. It just so happens that our groups don't mesh. Our friends are chill with almost everyone. Her friends are a group of high-up, pretty little princes and princess and any one stuck up enough to hang with them. Not everyone hates her, for some reason, it just happens a large majority does for a generally good reason."
Berlin was aware if she born as a princess instead of a good dog-cat, she would likely be in that friend group. She had the high overconfidence and attitude to those she didn't find worth her time. She was just brought up believing a lot of people were worth her time, unlike one of the princesses waited on hand and foot by servants. Her ego hadn't yet overblown so much she would suddenly ditch the friends she made luckily, not saying that everyone of the royal family did, but it seemed a large majority.
That idea aside, Berlin was glad to have gotten the okay. She grinned in response before promptly pushing off the edge into the pool with a large gust of air in her face as she went down into the pool with a good old, "Whoo hoo!" Which would eventually bring the question, is it a pool without any water? She didn't care, this was a thrill. In fact, it wasn't just a thrill, it was fun. And obviously a good idea.

Matthias Aksel Alexsen son of Melody and Alex "Right! I mean, I didn't mean that in a way that would insult you! Sorry," Matthias once again cringed to himself. Blaise had laughed to! Okay, perhaps it wasn't a full blown out, 'haha, you're being stupid,' type of laugh. Actually it was kinda cute if it didn't feel a little judgmental. Matthias had been going for a more 'I'm kinda unnoticable at times, so I wasn't aware if I had just kinda passed by view and you just accepted that,' sort of thing.
When Blaise agreed with the idea, Matthias found both a swarm of relief and excitement flood through his body. There was no way to hide the smile on his face after that, and Matthias was just hoping to calm down a bit. At least long enough to have conversation with Blaise to get to know him better. With a quiet voice, relief completely flowing through it, he spoke, "Exactly, awesome."
"Uh, well, if we want to go to know each other, we could simply start by asking each other small questions and stuff? Like.... say, what's your favourite colour?" Matthias wasn't best prepared, but hey. This was to mostly get to know Blaise a little bitter and become semi-friends at least. It may be the absolute most cliched question ever. It was still a valid one though.
Even if this went off on a slightly bad start, in Matthias's opinion, there was no doubt this was going to be the best day of his life for a very long time.
