Vumbi Singh daughter of bagheera and vitani
Detention was just as dull as ever. While she wasn't a die hard regular of the class, Vumbi Singh was definitely no stranger. For somebody who wanted to be a teacher she sure did break a lot of teacher’s rules or “forget” to do her homework for the sixth time that week. The way Vumbi saw it was that some teachers were cool, others not so much. She liked doing things her own way - her way was the right way, of course - and if she seemed something to be unnecessary or dumb then she simply didn't do it. Like why were 76 math problems necessary? She understood the concept of practice makes perfect and was a believer, but if somebody couldn't get a formula down after 10 problems of the same thing over and over then it was just a waste of time. Or why did literature classes matter? All they did was force people to read, and while Vumbi loved reading, she hated the concept of being forced to read deathly boring books. “These books are classic works of literature,” a teacher had told the leopon right before she looked that teacher in the eyes and responded with, “More like classic works of ‘make me want to kill myself’.” The teacher, it was safe to say, had not been thoroughly amused and now Vumbi was back in her usual seat in detention. Mr. Bruno was a good guy, easy to get along with, but of course one of the only teachers Vumbi could get along with was the head of the worst thing in every school’s history - detention.
In this bleak wasteland of more work, there didn’t seem to be a single ray of sunshine. Vumbi was forced to live her life in this dreary room. She wanted to leave, wanted to get out of here. Why had she been punished when she should have been praised? She had been right in her logic, and she still was. Why couldn’t most of her teachers see that? Why couldn’t a lot of teachers see that? She scanned the room, spotting all her fellow comrades in this dark time. There was Val and Margo, even Fred, her somewhat cousin’s girlfriend. Even adorable little Mika was in detention. Now that was surprising, then again, she had heard from some reliable sources that the poor owl-raccoon boy had been a bit...on edge since his boyfriend had left for the Isle.
Her attention was drawn away from all of this when somebody walked in with purpose in their steps. She blinked, tilting her head to the side when she spotted Montez practically sprinting over to Mr. Bruno, saying something about Toby and getting hurt. Nothing unusual there, but the urgency in the demigod’s voice told Vumbi that this was something to worry about. Surely the fox boy was okay. Maybe she could ask about him later. There was no way he could be suffering more than she was right now.
Almost as soon as Mr. Bruno and Montez left the room, Darcy walked in. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what was happening.
All of a sudden the gray clouds of detention were breaking apart by the glorious sunshine that had graced the room. Vumbi breathed a sigh of relief as she looked at her lord and savior Darcy Duck. ”Thank Durga, you’re here,” the leopon practically purred, her relief clearly visible on her entire body. Who would have ever thought that a duck would be rescuing a leopon? Without any second thoughts Vumbi gathered her stuff, which consisted of a simple leopard-print notebook and pencil. Before leaving, however, Vumbi quickly tore out a piece of paper and wrote a quickly scrawled note - “You’re cool and all, Mr. Bruno, and I’m bound to see you again sometime this week, but detention makes me want to eat 85 chocolate bars consecutively.” Once she had placed that on the dog’s desk, she headed after Darcy, itching to get out of this dreary hell that was detention.

Selene Sapphire Dwarf Daughter of Sneezy
The girl heard her name and turned in time to be scooped up into a pair of very strong arms. It only took her a few moments to recognize the voice. Laughing as she wrapped her arms around his neck as she was spun. Selene had seen Fitz around from time to time, they weren't close, but him being a Tourney player and her a cheerleader meant they were in the same circles. "You did amazing Florian." Honestly being picked up didn't bother her. She enjoyed the new perspective. Being short gave her one view of the world, where as his view was much higher up.
Selene laughed a little as she was put down, placing her hands and pom poms on her hips. "I don't mind at all. You're view is very different from mine." She flashed him a sweet smile before touching his arm. "You really did amazing Florian. Just don't get too wild with your celebrating tonight. We have a chemistry test tomorrow." She winked at him happily and turned as another player bumped into her. She righted herself easily after a small stumble and chuckled. She was easy to miss so she was use to being bumped into.
"I'll see you around Florian. I have to get back to my dorm. It's my turn to clean the room. Fel did it last week and Winnie is next week."
Shrugging a little she looked from side to side, but realized she was completely blocked in. "Or maybe not." She laughed a little and Selene looked up at him. "See any way for me to get out?"

Bethany "Bettie" Benitoite Dwarf Daughter of Bashful
Honestly this game couldn't have taken any longer. Bettie felt like it was never going to end, but the highlight had to have been when her girlfriend had turned up and was safe. The rest of the game had flown right by. As if it were nothing.
Now in her girlfriend's arms she felt like it had been years since she'd been held, where it had only been a few hours. Poor Connie. Having to live with the two girlfriends probably wasn't easy. They hardly left each other's sides. Bethany loved no one more than she loved her precious Eloise. Beloise. That's what Selene called them once, when teasing her. It stuck. At least for Bettie. In fact. She had a charm bracelet with it. Once of those little craft ones with string and beads, nothing fancy, but she loved it.
"Oh Ellie it's okay. I'm just glad you're okay. I was so worried."
Bettie noticed that water and smiled a little. "You got me a drink. Always the thoughtful one." She kissed Eloise's cheek and took a big gulp of the water before taking Ellie's hand in her's. "Wanna get out of here?" She asked noticing something off with her girlfriend. Maybe it was the crowd. Neither one of them were all that into being surrounded by this many people. Lacing their fingers together she began leading her girlfriend towards the locker room to get her stuff before heading out.

Pandora Pink Daughter of Piglet
Tugging her pastel pink hair into the second braid she groaned as the hair tie snapped, leaving a red mark on the side of her hand. Grumbling she dug through her drawer and found a yellow hair tie. "Perfect. Yellow and black hair ties. Just perfect." She groaned and tied up her braid anyway. Hopefully no one would notice it. Setting a reminder in her cell to pick up hair ties after class she slipped her phone into the canvas pocket in her backpack. Lacing up her Converses then slipping the bag on her shoulder she headed to the door and grabbed her board and helmet before skipping off to class. It was going to be a long day.
Can anyone else say miscommunication? Three quizzes an essay and a test. All in one day. Sounds like the teachers did not communicate at all. Pandora strapped her helmet on and set her board down. She needed something sweet after her busy day. Riding to the juice bar was quick and painless. She'd been there a thousand times before with her best friend Teddy. He always knew how to cheer her up with a strawberry smoothie. Always a blue straw because the smoothie made it purple. She smirked a little as she weaved down the sidewalk. Maybe Teddy would be there by the time she got there and she could force him to go get hair ties with her. Then again. Somehow they'd end up in trouble. Her father often blamed Teddy for his daughter getting into trouble, but she never let Teddy take the blame. Pandora was a Daddy's Girl without a doubt and easily talked her dad down. Anything for her.
Destress first. Hair ties second. Unclipping her helmet she headed inside and held her board by her side. Pandora walked up to the counter, hoping no one would notice her stupid yellow hair tie. That darn thing was really bugging her.

Darcy Dollie Duck Daughter of Donald & Daisy Duck
Well, no one seemed to be complaining that they were all getting an out. Darcy grinned, opening the door for everyone as she gestured for them to head out. ”Yeah, I know, I’m great. Now pick up the pace everyone, we can’t take too long,” She said as she ushered them out, and then, once that was done, the duck girl followed them outside the room, casting a glance back towards Toby, Montez, and Mr. Bruno just to make sure they were still distracted.
For a moment, Darcy caught Toby’s eye and just as the dog teacher was about to turn and look, Toby let out another yowl of pain, dragging Mr. Bruno’s attention back to him. Darcy grinned, she would really have to thank Toby for his brilliant acting skills after this. She had to give it to him, that fox knew how to act injured.
Looking back to the class they were freeing, Darcy took the lead once more, figuring the others would follow her as she snuck back past the corner she had been hiding behind before, stopping to pick up the bread that she had left on the floor. Picking it up, Darcy headed further down the hallway until she felt as if they were a safe enough distance away before stopping. Then once she had stopped, Darcy turned to look at the group. ”Good job everyone, we have successfully snuck out of detention. Go enjoy your freedom, do whatever it is you want to do, take some bread if you want, I don’t really care,” Darcy told them, holding the half empty loaf of bread out for them just in case any of the previously trapped detention students wanted a slice of the bread. She hadn’t brought the other snacks with her though, or else Darcy would offer that to them as well.
Tobias Vincent Tweed Son of Tod & Vixie
As for Toby, it had been a harder task than he had hoped to not only keep up the act that he was in pain, but stop Mr. Bruno from taking too close of a look at it, or insisting they went to the nurse’s office. However he kept up the act until Darcy and the trail of detention students had disappeared from sight, and even then he went on a little longer before deciding that was probably good enough.
Sitting on the floor, Toby stretched out his foot, wiggling it around. ”Huh, it’s feeling a lot better now. I must have just stepped on it weird and it cramped up. I’m sorry for making you come out here like this, Mr. Bruno,” Toby apologized as he looked up at the detention teacher. He really did feel bad. Mr. Bruno was nice, and didn’t deserve this. ”I am feeling a lot better now though,” he added, getting back up to his feet as if to prove his point even more. Gingerly - to keep up the act that it has once hurt - Toby placed his foot on the ground, sighing in relief when it wasn’t meant with pain. ”See? Nothing to worry about.”

Theodore Kasper Tiger Son of Tigger and Kanga
Teddy had been having a much better day than his pink haired friend. Sure there had been a test or two, but he had been ready. Besides, the rest of the day was great and to top it all off, now he could get a smoothie. With a bounce in his step, Teddy burst into the smoothie place. It didn’t take him long before he had placed his order for a strawberry-orange smoothie and chosen a place to sit down. Of course, for him, sitting was more or less him with his feet tapping repeatedly on the ground while he sat and drank his smoothie. Teddy couldn’t stay still no matter how hard he tried. Somehow, he always ended up moving, even if it was only by the tapping of his feet.
That’s what happened though, when you had not one, but two bouncing parents. His mother didn’t bounce around like his father did, but she still had that spring in her step. Besides, along with his father, Teddy’s older brother Roo had also been there to teach him how to bounce, happy to pass on the knowledge that Tigger had once taught him. At the end of the day though, Teddy was always on the move.
Grasping his smoothie in both hands, Teddy grabbed the straw in between his teeth and sucked on it, humming the tune to his father’s theme song as he looked around the smoothie place, and that’s when his eyes landed on a certain pink haired girl that had entered. Pandora Pink, the daughter of Piglet himself, and one of Teddy’s best friends. Teddy paused from his smoothie drinking to stick a hand far into the air, waving it around wildly to get her attention. ”Panda! Hey Panda! Over here!” He called out to her, hoping to get her attention. Maybe they could sit together and drink their smoothies, that sounded fun.

Florian Rainer Fitzherbert Son of Rapunzel & Eugene
Still a little embarrassed that he had just scooped her up like that, Fitz let out a small chuckle, standing there for a minute without really knowing what to do. Of course though, Selene was fine with it, she was easy going and just so nice. Nice and pretty, her hair just looked so soft, like you could reach out and touch it and you’d be touching clouds or something, and her smile was amazing. Fitz loved Selene’s smile.
Come on Fitz, focus, she’s talking to you. Right, Fitz turned his attention back to Selene - not that it had ever really left her in the first place - and listened as she explained cleaning out her dorm. Come to think of it, his dorm could also use a good cleaning. But honestly, what teenage boy wanted to clean up a dorm? Cleaning wasn’t really Fitz’s favorite thing to do, that was for sure. Focus Fitz.
Looking away from the dwarf girl for a minute, Fitz scanned over the field, looking for a way out. It didn’t take him long to see an opening within the crowds, as he was quite tall and could see plenty from up here. However, he doubted he’d just be able to point it out to Selene and she could weave through the much bigger people without someone blocking the way again. She was small, it was cute, but it also meant people weren’t always like Fitz, and specifically kept an eye out for her or her dwarf cousins.
”I see a way, but it’s pretty crowded. Here uhm, stick close to me,” Fitz told her, and with a gesture of his hand for Selene to follow him, Fitz set off through the crowds of people, politely asking for someone to move out of the way on occasion, because manners were very important. He moved slowly, to make sure Selene didn’t get left behind as he walked out of the crowds and into the open once again.

Pandora Pink Daughter of Piglet
Pandora smiled at the voice of her best friend. She laughed and looked over her shoulder at him. She waved and took her strawberry smoothie with her blue straw. She sipped on it and skipped over to the table and set her board down on the chair beside her, with her helmet on top of it. She grinned at Teddy. "Hi Teddy Bear." She tucked her leg under her and sipped on her smoothie happily.
"How did your test go? Pretty sure I failed that math one, but I think I did really well in the history one."
Pandora smiled a little. She enjoyed History the most. Dusty old books were a secret passion she had and Teddy knew it. He laughed at her when she psyched herself out over every test. her father's worrying may have transferred to her just a bit, but not as severe. No where near. Piglet would keep her in a bubble if he could, whereas she skateboarded and climbed trees and jumped off big rocks into lakes. Ooo the lake. Pandora looked up at him.
"Hey you wanna go swimming with me? I have to buy some hair ties first but then we can go swimming."
Her eyes sparkled hopefully. Pandora loved to swim and she was good at it, but she refused to join the swim team because There are too many rules and it takes the fun out of it. Or at least that's what she told the coach when they asked her to join the team when observing her during swim class.

Selene Sapphire Dwarf Daughter of Sneezy
Selene couldn't help but smile when he actually looked for her way out. Though she was a bit surprised when he lead her out. She had honestly expected him to just give her a direction to aim for, but instead there he was leading her out of the crowd. It was sweet and it made her very happy. Selene couldn't swipe the smile off her face as she followed the very tall Tourney player out of the crowd.
Her eyes sparkled as she took in his tall form. He had a really nice back. Even under the padding she could recognize his muscular form. He was so handsome. No wonder all the girls on the cheer team wanted him. Selene kept close to him, but the other's still managed to bump her, almost out of his eye sight, so towards the end of the winding escape she grabbed his jersey from the back and quickly followed him the rest of the way out of the crowd. When they were free she looked up at him. "Thank you Florian. That was very sweet of you."
The shorter dwarf girl touched his arm and looked up at him with her big doe eyes as she rubbed the smooth skin of his arm. Selene turned to walk towards the locker room and took a few steps before pausing and looking back at Florian. "I owe you one Florian. I never would have gotten out of that crowd without you."
She gave a little shake of her pom poms before bending down to grab one of the cheer water bottles from the carrier and took a sip as she dug her pill bottle out of her bag and grabbed her allergy pill then took it as she stood back up and looked at the Tourney player, realizing he hadn't walked off after that. She tilted her head a little in confusion. Did he need something? Had she missed something? "I uh..did you need something Florian?" She asked softly, looking up at him nervously.

Florian Rainer Fitzherbert Son of Rapunzel & Eugene
Leading Selene out, Fitz smiled down at her. ”I’m glad I could help,” he told her, watching as she started off. Maybe he should ask her out, after all, now would have been the perfect time. She was here, talking to him, everything was nice and civil and who knew when he’d get the chance again. With his thoughts pushing him even more towards asking the dwarf girl out, Fitz had been about ready to do just that when he noticed Selene was actually walking away. Quick, do it now Fitz, before she’s gone.
The son of Rapunzel and Eugene panicked and in his panic, he did nothing but stand there like an idiot, watching Selene leave until she had looked back at him and snapped him out of it. ”What?” Fitz questioned, only then realizing that he had been staring. Whoops. It wasn’t that Fitz had meant to just stand there and do nothing, he had just gotten so worked up in his own, silent panic over asking - and not actually asking - Selene out on a date that he forgot to actually do anything. For a moment, he simply continued to stand there, looking over at Selene with big green eyes, like a deer caught in the headlights. ”Right, sorry. I’m going now,” Fitz promised, turning around to walk off in the opposite direction.
Fitz you chicken. You missed your shot, that was the perfect moment to ask her. She had even turned back around, you fool.
Fitz had walked about three steps away before gulping, swallowing any butterflies that might’ve been surfacing from his stomach to look back to Selene. ”Hey, uh, Selene, before you go...” Fitz started, calling out to the dwarf girl. Once he had her attention, he opened his mouth to ask her out, and yet nothing came and for the third time in the last five minutes, Fitz did nothing but stand there, looking like an idiot. Sweat rolled down the side of his forehead as he gulped again. ”You did good today.” Backing out, Fitz smiled at her, giving her a small nod, and then turned back around. With a dejected sigh and a look of a sad puppy, Fitz walked off back into the field.
Well, this just confirmed it. Fitz was a chicken. A stupid one at that. Might as well put him on a boat and call him Hei-hei.

Theodore Kasper Tiger Son of Tigger and Kanga
Teddy went back to drinking his smoothie while Pandora came to sit with him. From the looks of it, Pandora had her strawberry smoothie with a blue straw. It was always with a blue straw. Personally, Teddy preferred orange straws, but then again, Teddy had always been a fan of the color orange in general, not just in straw colors. Kicking his feet back and forth, Teddy took a break from his drink when questioned about the tests. He shrugged casually, leaning back in his seat. ”I think I did pretty good,” he admitted with ease. ”Even if I didn’t, it doesn’t matter. Dad says not to worry too much, and Mom always tells me that there’s more important things in life than tests,” he explained with a shrug and a wave of his hand.
Leaning forward again, Teddy grasped his smoothie in his hands and took a big drink of it before continuing. ”I’m not worried.” Worrying wasn’t Teddy’s style. Having fun was, and worrying whether or not he passed a test was not fun. Therefore, Teddy didn’t think about it. Stretching back, Teddy shifted in his seat again, unable to sit still while he continued to down his smoothie. If he wasn’t careful, he’d be out of it soon enough. However, something that did make the carefree, bouncing tigeroo pause, was the mention of swimming. Now, it wasn’t that Teddy hated the sport. He liked pretty much any sport you threw at him, it was fun to get out and move around.
His main problem with swimming were the outfits for it. But he didn’t want to say no to his friend, not when this was an opportunity for them to go out together and have fun. So Teddy grinned over at Pandora and nodded excitedly along. ”Swimming sounds great, Panda! When do you wanna do that?” Questioned the son of Tigger and Kanga, fidgeting even more than usually in his seat.

Adrian Benjamin Amable Blaise Arthur Bete son of Beauty and the Beast
She moved and wriggled so much. It was as though she couldn't sit still for simply this. Adrian would have been more annoyed if he hadn't known the feeling about needing to move even at the worst times. He was just relieved when it was over, sitting back and leaning his weight on his hands before looking at the now cheering girl. Adrian hardly understood what she was saying.
Then she hugged him. Adrian stiffed at the unexpected contact. Warning would have been nice for one. He couldn't well say what he did was no problem, as it was definitely a task to him. He settled for a quiet and half-meaning, "You are welcome." It likely came out a little more awkward than he initially intended. Which he would blame on the fact that the surprise from being so randomly hugged caused it.
Adrian's face went red as Stella kept talking though. "What?" She wasn't- couldn't be serious about that. "Uh, no. No, no, no. Generally people don't kiss one another unless they are in a relationship anyway. It's- It's not based off of just feeling excited." How could someone just calmly assume that was why their parents kissed? Not even the fact they were in a relationship with one another, no instead it was based off of a feeling. Transfers.
Putting that aside and attempting to remove her from himself, Adrian reminded himself why he was so annoyed initially. "Why are you in here anyway?" Neither her friend Toby or her brother Saros was there to watch her or at least give her a reason to be in here. She just was, and had also deciding that licking a violin was a swell idea- which got her in this situation anyway. The point was, she shouldn't have been in the room anyway.

Berlin Silverlake daughter of Bolt and Mittens
"We, the people of Auradon, need to start funding a food dimension for you, to at least save their own food," Berlin teased with a friendly grin on her face as she spoke. Why hadn't something like that been given her dog friend was a good question indeed. It would be a thought to stop the food thief after all, though she supposed that required the boy to be caught. And Berlin was fine letting him be free as he often shared what he found.
She continued. "Ooh, pool skating would be pretty cool to see on your channel." Berlin enjoyed watching the videos he posted. The were really entertaining most of the time. Original, creative, and overall worth watching were some of the best way she could describe them. "I don't know if that means all that though, as anything you put up is awesome."
"Now, let's go do skate in an empty pool," Berlin said. She grabbed Carmelo's wrist and started to drag him off to the pol area.

Matthias Aksel Alexsen son of Melody and Alex Club was out! Matthias was not excited that the club had ended, no no no. He would have liked if it went on longer. What he was decently excited about was the fact he was finally gonna get up some courage and actually attempt to properly befriend Blaise Bete. Matthias figured if he could manage that, he could be satisfied at least and get the little, really really tiny, 'you need a microscope to see it' crush out of his system. If you could even call taking small glances at the pretty prince whenever Matthias could a crush.
Yeah, it was a crush. At least Matthias knew that it wouldn't go further than that- seeing as Matthias was really sure that the guy was straight. And had a girlfriend. Which is exactly why Matthias thought simply befriending Blaise would be a good idea. In hindsight, it was actually a terrible plan and unlikely to work- unless Blaise turned out to be a cruel and conniving man, very devious and someone Matthias would just stop liking. In the oppoising case and he was a decent person, Matthias had no idea why the hell that would make the mer-prince stop liking the guy.
Matthias supposed there was an issue with his plan. He had no idea where Blaise would be. He wasn't one of those people who obsessively followed their crush until he knew their entire life schedule. But from he did know, there would be a few places. So Matthias went to the library first and there was nothing there. He decided to save Blaise's room for last, cause that was a last resort sort of thing anyway. So outdoors it was!
It took a little searching around, but Matthias found the object of his attention. The merperson, currently half-hidden behind a tree, now had a large surge of doubt flood into his mind. Was this even a good idea? What if Matthias made a fool out of himself? What if- just what if?
Deciding to take a look at Blaise again before deciding to go forward with Operation Friend (He needed a better name, yeah.), Matthias immediatly regretted it. Matthias was sure his face took on a slightly more red color simply by looking at him. "Holy shoot, I'm so freaking useless." Someone tell Matthias how to not go red whenever he looks at Blaise's everything. That jawline, those eyes, his figure, his brown hair that looks really really soft and just imagining stroking my fingers through it seemed so appealing- er... yeah. "I have such a huge problem," Matthias muttered to himself. But Blaise looked so handsome and beautiful simply sitting there and reading a book and it really wasn't fair.
And that problem need to be solved in the most useless way possible. Matthias had to be aware that it wasn't going to go well, and he could decide to back out and let it fade or due the stupidest thing possible and get closer to the guy that would absolutely reject him if Matthias came out with his feelings because the guy was straight and in a relationship with a girl, hence the word straight that Matthias was gonna now declare war on. Oh well~ Terrible life choices here I come!
Matthias, merprince extraordinaire, wobbly moved away from the tree towards the reading prince with a deep breath and a million thoughts of how this would go wrong. Too late now. Letting out the deep breath allowed a bright smile to appear on his face. Taking a seat next to Blaise, Matthias turned his head to Blaise, tilting it a little. "Hey there, Blaise right?" Matthias could act very cool and casual and make sure he didn't say something too stupid. "I'm Matthias and I reall- er. I hope you don't mind me taking a seat here." Fingers crossed behind his back that this was work and praying to great grandfather Triton that this worked.

Selene Sapphire Dwarf Daughter of Sneezy
Selene smiled a little at his nervousness. He was such a cutie, though she couldn't understand why he was just standing there, watching her. She couldn't help the giggle that escaped her when he apologized. "You have nothing to be sorry for. I know I'm cute to look at." She winked at him, teasing him just a little. Picking up her cheer bag she slipped the strap over her shoulder and bit her lip as she watched him turn to leave. "Thanks Florian."
He'd complimented her cheering, even though he'd been on the field so there was no way he'd seen it. It was such a small thing. But it was a big thing to her. Selene paused before turning around and hurrying after his retreating form. Screw it. She needed to ask him.
Selene jogged after the Tourney player and grabbed his muscular arm, all but bouncing in front of him. "Florian wait." She managed to stand in front of him as hard as it were. Her legs were much shorter than his so she basically had to run to catch him, but she did it. Breathing deeply she bit her lip and then placed her hands on her hips, as if it gave her some confidence boost.
"Come swimming with me tonight. After I clean my dorm I want to go swimming. Come with me."
Selene didn't ask. She told. No way to get rejected if you didn't give an option. She pulled a piece of paper out of her cheer bag and scribbled on it quickly. "My number. Text me when you get out of here and you can come up to my dorm if I'm still cleaning." Selene smiled and turned away, walking to the locker room to change back into her normal clothes.

Pandora Pink Daughter of Piglet
Pandora nodded, happy that her friend was doing so well. Then again her Teddy Bear was happy. Always happy, or at least relaxed about everything going on. He didn't stress like she did, though sometimes he really should in her opinion, but he was good for her. She was grateful he was her best friend. She brought the smoothie back to her lips as she nodded about his parents. They were pretty cool parents. At least they were calmer than her's. Her Dad was worried about everything all the time, but she did her best to walk him off the edge of hysterics. Some days were harder than others. Piglet was the biggest worrier on the planet, but sometimes he was just really nice and sweet so like she did pretty well in the parent department she thought.
Pandora was gulping down her smoothie so fast she didn't even realize it was gone until that annoying slurping sound at the end when there is just air and a touch of foam at the bottom of the cup. Pushing the empty cup away she noticed Teddy was a little off by the idea of going swimming. She didn't understand why he acted like that sometimes about swimming. He loved sports. Why was splashing around in the water any different? She didn't know, but he agreed to go with her anyway. And honestly he was such a good best friend. Pandora's eyes lit up and she all but bounced out of the seat.
"Well lets go Teddy Bear. I need some hair ties and then we can go change into our suits, unless you just wanna dive right in in our clothes? I really don't wanna swim in the pool, the chlorine makes me sick and no thanks. I prefer all natural." She babbled on happily, while leading her friend out of the smoothie shop, her board in one hand and her helmet in the other as she happily stood by the taller boy.

Eloise Arendelle daughter of elsa
Eloise hated worrying Bettie. It was the last thing she had thought of when arriving late to the game, but she should have expected such a feeling from her girlfriend. At least it wasn’t something like anger. Every relationship had its ups and downs, that was for sure, but Eloise never wanted Bettie to be mad at her. Would she have deserved the Dwarf girl’s anger? More than likely. Did she want to experience it? Never. She had had her fair share of Bettie getting mad at her, like that one time she had forgotten all about their one month anniversary date to practice magic. Magic of all things had made her forget a date with her dear Bettie. Magic that was illegal to practice on Auradon. She had forgotten a date because she was doing illegal things. Yeah, she had deserved the chewing out she had gotten, and to this day she still felt bad about it. If anything she was trying to do a better job of remembering important dates such as that; she was still very forgetful with stuff like that, but she was doing her best. At least she was trying, right? And it was nice to have her girlfriend as her roommate - it helped her remember important dates a bit better as well.
The daughter of Elsa pushed those thoughts away as she reached down to move a strand of hair from her girlfriend’s face. ”You don’t have to be worried anymore,” she murmured softly, a gentle smile pulling at the corners of her lips. The blonde was forgetful, extremely forgetful, but this was something she was sure she would never be able to forget. Being with the love of her life, cheering her on...that was something she was sure to never forget. And if she were to ever forget something of such importance, well, she should just be struck by lightning on the spot. If anything at least she could be thoughtful and bring her cheerleader girlfriend a bottle of water for after the game.
Leaving the still crowded game field was exactly what Ellie wanted to do. She took one of Bettie’s hands into her own, lacing their fingers together, relishing in the feel of just how perfect they locked into place. She had never been good with crowds and the added nervousness of what she wanted to do later today wasn’t helping.
”After you get cleaned up and everything do you want to grab something to eat? Or maybe hang out near the big oak trees?” Either option sounded amazing to the young woman as both options left her and Bettie to be alone together. And that’s what Eloise wanted, to be alone with Bettie, especially when she gave her girlfriend the gift she had tucked securely away in her pocket.

Montez Rivera Tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
Every now and then when Mr. Bruno wasn't looking Montez would turn and look behind his shoulder to see how Darcy was holding up. He had watched her slip into the room about a minute ago. The duck girl would be able to get the job done, but the devious demigod wasn't sure how much longer Toby could continue his act and how much longer Mr. Bruno would stay out here until directing them to the nurse. No, there was no reason to doubt either of his friends. Toby was doing a more than amazing job as was Darcy. And speaking of his partner in crime…
Montez cast a quick glance back to the classroom. He couldn't stop a grin from coming over his face when he spotted the daughter of Donald and Daisy walking triumphantly out of detention, a full class following her out like ducklings. He had just enough time to wonder where Saros was before pushing the thought down. Surely the Butterfly princess was in the group and Montez must have just passed him by. That's what had happened. Before turning back to Toby and Mr. Bruno the demigod gave a quick thumbs up in Darcy’s direction.
It was back to playing the concerned friend. Montez shuffled over a bit closer to Toby. Even as the fox boy’s ‘pain’ faded, he continued to feign worry. ”You sure, Toby? I know you're used to getting hurt, but…” He let his words fall short to show the concern he was feeling. He was sure by now that the emotions were true to their feeling - Toby needed to pursue a career in acting or something because the boy was amazing.
”Should I take him back to his room?” Montez directed the question to Mr. Bruno.
The older man still wore a look of concern; however, he seemed to be relenting now that Toby had proven he could put weight back on the foot. ”I still recommend seeing the nurse, but I suppose if you're feeling better…” The dog let out a slow sigh. He finally gave in, nodding as if agreeing to something. ”Try to be careful, Mr. Tweed, the last thing we need is for you to injure yourself even more. If you need me anymore you know where to find me.” Before he turned to head back to his classroom he looked toward Montez. ”Do see that he makes it safely to his dorm.”
Montez nodded. ”Yes, sir.”
With one last look over Toby the teacher then turned to return to the detention room.
As soon as the dog had turned his back Montez took Toby by the arm. ”Come on!” He breathed through clenched teeth, knowing they only had but a short opening of time before Mr. Bruno discovered that his classroom was now deserted.

Stella Butterfly daughter of star and marco
Even for a Bête Adrian was very cuddly and squishy and warm. He was like a big blanket that Stella wanted to lay on forever. Something like a purr escaped the Mewni girl. She hadn't been on Auradon for long - less than a whole week if she remembered correctly - but she had already been told by a few people to stay away from the royal family. “They're snobs,” said somebody that Stella had totally forgotten the name of. “Your poor brother, stuck with a Bête as a roommate. Could be worse, I suppose,” said another unidentified not flying object. Stella had somewhat tried to stay away from that particular family, but it wasn't easy when her brother and current crush lived with Adrian. He wasn't much fun, but Stella didn't think he was a terrible person.
She nuzzled up against him. It had been too long since she had last hugged somebody. ”You're very warm,” she mused. ”I should hug you more often.” Come on, Stella, back off, the boy has a girlfriend. Yeah, she wasn't romantically interested in him, but others weren't going to take her hug as just one of happiness. People liked to assume the worst of things and the worst thing to think of about a hug with Adrian Bête was that he was showing off his lineage by cheating on poor Honoka. Like mother like son they would probably say.
For some reason the Butterfly girl felt disappointment well up inside her when Adrian confirmed that right now was not a time for a kiss. Well, she could at least cuddle him some more. ”Earth is so weird. You guys can't even do magic here! Well, you can, but it's illegal or whatever, and now I find out that kissing isn't something you do when you're excited,” she sighed, pulling away from Adrian to get down and lay on the floor. The floor was comfortable. Maybe she would lay here until Saros or Toby showed up. ”This is a very nice floor. I bet it doesn't talk to you, though. My floor back on Mewni does! I did this spell and now my floor is one of my best friends! Ohhhhh,” she started, eyes growing rounder than two moons, ”I could make your floor talk.” A little magic couldn't hurt, right? And it was only to make the floor talk - it wasn't like she was going to use her magic to let all the people on the Isle free or something ridiculous like that.
Stella rolled over onto her stomach when asked the question of why she was in here. She chuffed. ”That's a silly question! I'm here for my brother and Toby! They should be here anyyyy minute now,” she chirped, glancing over at the door expecting to see either of the boys. Nope. ”Any minute now,” she repeated. Still nothing. Stella’s face creased into a pout. ”They're not very good at listening to me.” At least she had Adrian here. Even if he was one of those Bête kids he was still nice company to have.

Aubriana Dammerüng daughter of aurora and phillip
How long had she been in here, ten minutes, thirty minutes, an hour, five hours? Why did it even matter? Time didn’t even exist anymore, it all was just one big blur of nothing and everything. It seemed like she was always forgetting the time, forgetting what the day was, what the year was, what anything was. Why was she even in the library, again? Oh, right, she had decided to come here to get away from everything. To get away from herself if at all possible. If anybody asked what she was doing she would simply tell them she was trying to work on a paper for the Virtues and Values class but there was not a single book or piece of paper nearby. Luckily for her nobody came around to talk to her. Why would they? Nobody wanted to talk to Aubriana Dammerüng anyway. If anybody wanted to talk to her it was to put her down, to say something about her that they had heard. There would be another rumor about her, another false accusation put on her to make her look like a bad person. Though she was a bad person, wasn’t she? A very bad person. She was the worst. Whatever had been said about her - whatever was being said about her - was true, and she knew it. If everything was true why was she even trying to run away from it? No, she wasn’t running away from the words and the sneers and the snickers, she was trying to run away from herself.
A burning sensation on her arms brought her out of this reverie. Ana glanced down at the thick sleeves that covered her arms. It wasn’t like it was cold or anything outside or inside, quite the opposite really, and Ana had never been one to get cold. Despite being nothing but a walking skeleton she somehow retained heat scarily well. There was no way that the long-sleeved shirt was needed. Before she could stop herself she placed her left hand on her right arm, gingerly rubbing it as if to stop it from itching. Even with the small amount of pressure she was applying she still winced every now and then. Ana shook her head. She needed to get over herself.
After wasting another ten minutes in the library the blonde decided that maybe it was finally time to leave. She wasn’t accomplishing anything - not that she accomplished anything anywhere, but staring at a bookshelf for hours on end actually did become boring. Maybe a change of scenery would be nice for once. Ana had always enjoyed going outside...then again, going outside meant people would be there. But people would be in the library, too. She hadn’t encountered anybody yet, though that could always change. Ugh. People were everywhere she went. Even if she went into her room there would be people. One day Ana was going to find a place in which she could be completely and totally alone.
Ha, “one day”. She was letting herself think about the future again. Dumb, dumb, Ana. You already know that you’re never getting a future. Those positive thoughts were just so funny, weren’t they? Congratulations, Ana, you’re now a wish-for-death comedian.

Theodore Kasper Tiger Son of Tigger and Kanga
Finishing off his own smoothie, Teddy jumped to his feet. ”Right, let’s go!” He agreed, stopping for a second when swimming was brought up again. Finding somewhere that wasn’t a public pool to go swimming in was a good idea. One Teddy liked much better. As for swimming suits... ”I’ll just grab a plain shirt and some swimming trunks, I don’t really wanna swim in my clothes,” he admitted, glancing down towards the striped orange and black shirt, jeans, leg warmers, and boots he had on. Why was he dressed so warm? It wasn’t cold outside.
Though, if Teddy was being honest, he typically didn’t choose what to wear based off of sensibility, instead he went with aesthetics. Hence the stripes and the leg warmers. They were fun to wear, even if it made it a little hot outside. Oh well. Looking back up, Teddy grabbed his smoothie from the table to throw it away into the trash can by the door. ”Let’s get your hair ties then, where did you leave them this time?” He asked as he started outside, bouncing with each step that he took.
See, Teddy didn’t walk. Nor did he run. Teddy bounced. It might very well be impossible for him to actually slow down and walk at a normal pace, like an actual normal human being. However bouncing was not only more fun, but felt much more natural to the tigeroo boy. Even if it did mean he had a tendency to accidentally leave others behind while on the move.
Which, luckily, he seemed to notice that this time, and slowed down before he got too far into the lead, coming to a complete stop. Quickly, he glanced around for his pink haired friend, and when he couldn’t find her, he looked back, spotting Pandora not far off. ”Come on, Panda, we still need to find a place to swim at, and that could take awhile. There’s no time for moseying around!” Teddy called back to her. Though to him, there was never time for any moseying. Why mosey when you could bounce?

Blaise Bastian Antoine Augustin Bête Son of Beast & Belle
Fully immersed in the book he was reading, Blaise hadn’t noticed Matthias when he had approached. Instead the prince had been teleported to the lands of a fantasy world. Reading was an escape for Blaise. A chance to be someone else for awhile. A chance to get away from the world that he lived in. Today, he wasn’t Blaise Bête. Today he was a pirate, sailing on the vast seas where mermaids and sirens lurked below. He was the captain of his sea worthy vessel, on a quest to find hidden treasures to claim as his own. No, today he wasn’t Blaise Bête at all, and that’s how he liked it.
In fact, he was so engulfed in his story that he hadn’t even noticed when Matthias approached him. So when the merman spoke up, it took Blaise by surprise. He jumped a little, hands clutching tightly onto his book as he was suddenly thrust out of the exciting world he had found himself in, and brought back to reality. He looked around with wide eyes until he spotted what had interrupted him from his reading. Or rather, who had interrupted him. Oh. It was only Matthias. Blaise could handle that. At least it wasn’t someone like...GiGi or someone else. Not that there was anything wrong with GiGi, she was a lovely girl, however Blaise read to get away from his life, and GiGi was apart of that life he often tried to get away from.
Shaking his head, Blaise gave the other boy permission to sit down. ”Hello Matthias, you’re of course, welcomed to sit here. I was just reading,” he explained, picking up the small, fancy bookmark resting on the grass beside him to place back into the book before closing it up and placing the book where the bookmark had once been. ”And Matthias, I would hope by now that we both knew who we are. We are roommates after all,” Blaise reminded him, amusement flickering across his eyes. Sure they didn’t talk much, even for being roommates, but that didn’t change the fact that that’s what they were. ”What brings you out here?” The prince asked, eyes landed on Matthias as he awaited an answer. Surely there must have been a reason for him to come and find Blaise, and he was willing to listen.
Though, if there wasn’t a reason, Blaise might be a tad annoyed. After all, he had been enjoying being a pirate with a bounty on his head instead himself. There had to be a reason for someone to interrupt reading, or else Blaise considered it a sin to do as much.

Carmelo Dorian Rivera Son of Dante & Collette
Berlin wasn’t wrong. Anything on Carmelo’s channel was amazing, and that wasn’t just him being boastful or anything. People watched his videos, they liked them, he was actually sort of famous thanks to his channels. That was all the prove anyone would need. His videos were great, and he enjoyed filming them. ”Thanks Berlin! It’s mostly everyone else that does all the work, I just film the stuff,” he told her, getting his skateboard ready to head to the pool.
It didn’t take long to get there, and once they had arrived, Carmelo came to a stop on his skateboard, he pressed his foot down on the edge, making the skateboard stick up just enough for him to grab it as he looked at the emptied pool, a smile on his face. He would surely be wagging his tail if he had one. ”Alright, this is gonna be fun,” he decided and looked around to see if he could find anyone that could film this for him. However he couldn’t, and the son of Dante and Collette frowned.
He tapped his foot thoughtfully on the ground before an idea came to him and he grinned. Quickly, Carmelo turned to Berlin, smiling at his fellow dog. ”How about this, you go first for a bit, and I film you, and then after a few minutes, I can stop and join you! That way we can have our cake and eat it too!” Carmelo explained happily, only to pause for a minute and glance thoughtfully at the ground. ”You know, I never did understand that saying. Why would you have cake you can’t eat? Is it gluten cake given to someone with celiac’s disease? Is it full of some other food that people can’t eat? If so that’s really mean, people with dietary restrictions need some tasty food too...”
Instantly his mind shot to Maya. She couldn’t eat a lot of things. Carmelo could list them all on the top of his head if he was asked to, but just because she couldn’t eat a lot of food didn’t mean she didn’t deserve something good to eat. Carmelo let out a very small growl when he caught himself thinking of Maya. He shook his head, mentally reprimanding himself for letting his thoughts wander to his ex. Now was not the time to think about her. So, he dropped it, smiling back at Berlin instead. ”Ready?” He asked.

Florian Rainer Fitzherbert Son of Rapunzel & Eugene
Fitz was such an idiot, and a coward. A cowardly idiot, which was the worst combination of things a person could be. He had been so close, the question had been on the tip of his tongue, ready to burst from his mouth as he finally worked up the courage to ask Selene out. However that had not happened and instead Fitz was now walking back into the field with his shoulders slumped forward and head down as a sigh escaped him. Well, there went his one try. It was ruined now.
The son of Rapunzel and Eugene had been prepared to sulk for a bit longer, however he wasn’t given the chance. For right then, Selene came back to him, taking Fitz entirely by surprise. The Tourney player blinked, speechless as Selene ran back up to him and told - not asked - him to come swimming with her. Before he knew it, he had a piece of paper in his hand with her number on it and a scheduled time to see the pretty dwarf girl again.
Still in shock, Fitz once again watched as Selene left, doing nothing for a few moments as he slowly looked down at the paper in his hand and then back up to Selene as she disappeared from his sight, and then once again back down at the paper. Was this really happening? Did that actually just happen? Had he tripped and hit his head on a rock and this was all some weird dream that he wasn’t aware he was having?
Fitz pinched himself.
”Owe!” Okay so this was not a dream. Which meant that this was real. Selene wanted to see him again, she gave him her number, they were going to go swimming tonight. They had a date!
At this realization, a large smile spread wide across Fitz’s face as he clutched the paper close to his chest, grinning ear to ear. ”I have a date with Selene Dwarf,” he muttered in amazement under his breath, standing there for a little longer as he tried to process what had just happened. Then, finally, after he was done gushing over what happened, he started towards the lockers, planning on cleaning up after the Tourney game.

Merlion Hugo Sumnar Son of Merlin & Witch Hazel
Merlion Sumnar was often in the library. It was a place of learning and Merlion was a big fan of learning. Though...one sort of genre that Merlion had noticed that the library was severely lacking in, were books about magic. The boy scoffed as he shoved a book back into the shelf. They probably didn’t want to give anyone ideas. A waste of time. If Merlion had it his way, every single kid in this school with magic was going to learn how to use it whether the teachers and the adults wanted it or not.
The man paused for a minute, glancing around the library. It was mostly empty. He had seen Laurent and Cordelia awhile ago, but he couldn’t them anymore. Then beyond that, the library was depressingly empty. Seriously, where were all the young minds ready for learning? Probably stuck in detention or something lame like that. A waste of their talent if there ever was one if you were to ask Merlion. The young wizard let out another scoff, walking down a different part of the library with a small, slim cat following in his footsteps. Of course, Cleo wasn’t actually a cat. But as far as anyone else here was concerned, she was just one very loyal little cat, and that was how Merlion liked it. After all, he had to keep up appearances, didn’t he?
The boy ran a hand through a dark mess of curly black hair, eyes looking through the shelves. Finding a good book on magic was going to take forever this way. Of course...maybe there was another way. Quietly, Merlion whispered something under his breath and just like that books began to fly off the shelves, floating high up into the air. Perhaps he shouldn’t be doing this, in fact he really shouldn’t be. But the librarian was asleep and he hadn’t seen anyone else in the library yet, so why not have a little fun? If some other kid did catch him, he’d just have Cleo give them a warning to not say anything and then if they did say anything, Merlion would figure a way out of that too. He could do whatever he wanted, he was just that great.
As you can see, Merlion was a very humble boy.
Going through the now emptied shelves, Merlion soon found what he was looking for, a single, old blue book sitting in the very back. He smirked, walking over to it as he grabbed the book and looked it over, now this was a magic book. He’d have to check this one out.
Now happy with the book he had found, Merlion turned to leave, however just as he did that, he caught sight of someone else in the library, someone he hadn’t noticed before. Ana, daughter of Aurora and Phillip. Quickly Merlion whispered something else and the books zipped through the air and back to where they originally belonged. He looked at the shelves and then to Ana, brows knitting together in a thoughtful glare. ”You saw nothing,” he told her, pointing at the girl accusingly. He couldn’t have some nonmagical princess see him. Ugh he hated princesses. Especially the ones here in the school. Now what was he supposed to do?

Tobias Vincent Tweed Son of Tod & Vixie
Offering Mr. Bruno a smile, Toby nodded along. ”Don’t worry Mr. Bruno, careful’s my middle name!” Well actually, it was Vincent. Which should really say something about his parent’s creativity considering he also had a brother that’s first name was Vincent. Toby had been told that they were “named after each other” but personally, if you were to ask him, his parents just couldn’t think of enough V names to go around. Oh well, too late now. ”Bye Mr. Bruno!” Toby called out to the man, watching as he disappeared back into the classroom with an innocent smile on his face.
Then as soon as the dog teacher vanished from sight, Toby was off, picking up speed as he ran down the hallways in an effort to get away from the scene of the crime when Mr. Bruno realized that his entire detention class was missing. However, in his hurry, Toby wasn’t exactly watching where he was going and his foot got stuck under his other foot while he ran down a hallway. Instantly he lurched forward, letting out a yelp as he flailed his arms around in a desperate attempt to stop what was surely going to happen next.
However, Toby had truly awful luck and no matter how hard he tried to not fall to the ground, his efforts were made in vain. The fox boy soon hit the floor with a loud “oomph” as his face planted into the ground. He let out a groan, pushing himself up from the floor. Well, that seemed about right. He pretends to be hurt, only to fall flat on his face only a few minutes later. Toby let out a few unhappy grumbles, sitting up as he looked himself over to make sure he hadn’t actually hurt anything. It didn’t look like he had, though he could already see a nice big bruise forming on his ankle. Perfect.
That was sarcasm.

It was go time.
Very few things made Winnie happier than seeing her best friend so happy. Benji was just so precious when he was excited - she adored his cute little wiggly giggly self. The boy's excitement was infectious, and as the two of them walked side-by-side Winnie slipped her free hand into his, interlacing their fingers tightly. The bear-girl swung their clasped hands back and forth between the two of them in exaggerated motions, the action somewhat reminding her of when they were just little cubs going on similar adventures.
Some thing never really changed, did they?
"It's such a beautiful day." Mused Winnie, turning her face up towards the sunlight as they walked across the grounds. She made a mental note to gather a bouquet of wildflowers while they were out. It would really liven up the dorm room, and anyone who knew Winnie knew that she was very much an outdoorsy, nature-loving girl. It wasn't abnormal to find the lumbering bear-girl perched upon the topmost branches of a tree, sometimes tricking bees out of their honey and other times swinging her feet and weaving flower crowns.
She was a simple girl, really, and it didn't take very much to keep her happy and entertained.

And she was caught.
Suddenly the joke didn't feel so funny. "Laurie." Lia glanced at him, lips tugging into a slight frown. The urge to reach out and touch him, to lay a gentle hand on his arm, was almost overwhelming. It surprised the Bête girl - of all her siblings, she was probably the least prone to any sort of voluntary human interaction. And touching? That was almost always strictly off limits. And yet she wanted to soothe him, this boy who was both so familiar and yet so foreign to her. Lia contained herself, though, and instead laced her own fingers together against her lap.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to be malicious towards you, honest." Vowed the brunette princes, holding up her three fingers in the sign for 'scouts honor.' It was strange seeing the easy-going Laurie looking so tense and upset. And knowing that she was the cause of his discomfort made Lia feel about as big as a mouse. Wringing her hands once more, the brunette turned away from him and edged towards the cupboards, the closeness between the two of them too much and too little all at the same time. "It was just this thing, from a book I'd read...a joke." She explained weakly, trying to think of a way to soothe the boy's wounded pride. And yet nothing came to mind.
"I-I'm sorry. I should go," Lia said softly, spinning away from the boy once more. This was exactly why she didn't leave the safety of her little library corner. After all, who really needed friends?

Adrian Benjamin Amable Blaise Arthur Bete son of Beauty and the Beast
Adrian supposed he should be offended by any rumours spread about the Bete family. Honestly he didn't care. Alex was a doofus, Bella was terrible, Blaise was unnoticable. His twin, Alicio, got a bias pass. Cordelia was weird (look at her name). Andrella was- well, just there. And Adam took his spoiled kid role too far. That wasn't to say Adrian could be left out either. Adrian was highly against other people- aside from Honoka and Alicio. So any rumours held some truth to the matter. As long as nobody really confronted them, Adrian supposed.
When she complimented him (he supposed being called warm was a compliment?), he didn't really know what to say. Perhaps he was a little unused to random human contact though. Awkwardly he let out a good and proper, "Uh, thanks." What else was there to say? F--k off? Unfortunately Adrian would more than likely see her too often to say that without regretting it for the rest of the year. He was rather glad he could personally take a good guess in which this was not going to happen often- despite Stella's statement. After all, the only reason she did that was to emphasize her joy at being free from the- his violin and to show gratitude to him for freeing her.
He was left with relief when she let go. Until she suggested using magic. "No. No magic. Not while I'm around. I don't want to be associated with that. Magic is banned for a reason and we should leave it at that." Not that a talk floor didn't sound amusing, Adrian let his mind wander. Wait, no, I take that back. What was he thinking? Of all people, Adrian shouldn't even think that. He was a child of the King of Auradon, and being associated with doing magic would look terrible on him and his father. Adrian couldn't exactly let something like that happen, because he would likely be shunned forever and to do that to his less-than-perfect family would only make things worse. It was just a huge no.
He took the opportunity to distract himself by moving over to his bed, grabbing a paper pad on his way and picking up a pencil he had ever so gracefully tossed onto the bed. As she tried to convince either one of his roommates to enter through the door to prove a point, he started a small sketch of- well he didn't know yet. He glanced to Stella, letting an amused smile slip. "No, it doesn't seem like they are. Can't imagine why."

Matthias Aksel Alexsen son of Melody and Alex Matthias cringed at himself. He saw Blaise jump just barely and immediately wished he could abort this mission. Or re-plan it. He had thought that Blaise might seem him coming- nope. He supposed the prince really did focus in on his books as much as he looked like he did. And then Matthias wanted to take everything back ever quicker. What if I bothered him? was the major thought on the merman's mind. Matthias didn't even think that he might be interrupting some time Blaise had to himself to read- or that maybe he wanted to be left alone. Was it possible to regret your life? It should be. It probably was, cause Matthias was pretty sure it was happening to him.
And then his urge to die grew stronger. Right, of course Blaise knew him. Matthias felt like an idiot. And idiot who probably went bright red from embarrassment. And not even the good embarrassment where you are with your crush and actually together with them andd it is the adorable romantic type. Not the kind where you want to disappear into the void!
"Right. Right. I knew that. Just, uh," Matthias stumbled. Nerves? Definitely. But to say that would be so weird, right? "Didn't know if you actually- er- really paid attention to that- or knew I existed.." Which was actually pretty accurate. Matthias had doubted that Blaise really knew Matthias existed cause Matthias wasn't nearly as important to the world. Sure, he was a prince- but like not even the son to a main queen, just the son of a daughter to a main queen who was often skipped over.
"Right!" Why Matthias was out there and attempting to make conversation with his crush was a good question. It was to become friends with him, in the least awkward way possible. Which was failing on his part. "Okay, uh. See. What brings me out here? Yes. Since we are roommates and such, I kinda uh figured. Well, I was kinda wanting to get to know you better since we're gonna be stuck in the same room with one another for the rest of the year and hey- if we can manage to be friends, even better."
Matthias took in a deep breath and added on in a very quick voice, "AndIreallyhopethisisn'tabotherbecauseifitisI'mprobablygonnadieofembarrasementforsomanyreasons. Haha?"
