The bandit, Butch, side-eyed Keone with a glare. "Mind your own beeswax, rookie." He snorted, turning his attention back towards Gabriel. He walked forward, hands on his hips, and hatchet resting firmly against his leg, before tilting his head to the side and staring at the other man. "And whaddya need to ask us that you can't ask the bootlickers in the city, hm?" Butch scowled, tapping his hatchet against his leg impatiently.
Xaal's fingers twitched again, and his crimson eyes were cold and sharp as they watched the other bandits. He didn't have a good feeling about this place.

"I can speak to your leader on behalf of the group. I have no weapons and I'm not skilled in hand-to-hand fighting. I have no reason to lie to you and we have no reason to fight you, let alone be stupid enough to. It would be a loosing battle. Your camp out numbers us by far and you all have weapons and, I'm sure, are skilled in using them." Aima proposed. She wasn't sure if she could trust these people yet and, if they were anything like the people in the town, they would problems run them out once they heard the true story. -And, technically, they were travelers if they came from a different world, as that's what she assumed, and she didn't have weapons. At least, none that she knew how to use. It wasn't like they were lying to these people, more just... selectively choosing what to reveal -with different words.

Bentley nodded, trying to act like it was part of their plan. She glanced quickly over at her brother, who was blushing. Bentley sighed. He was better with conversation and reasoning out of the two of them, but that didn't mean he was outstanding. "Yeah, we're not trying to start anything." Bentley added for emphasis. Gabriel shifted uncomfortably and said nothing.
