Gabriel's face turned even redder. Bentley scoffed slightly before pausing to look at her brother. He looked back at her with an annoyed, questioning look. Later, she motioned. The two turned back to the rest of the group. "Fine. Are gonna put this plan into motion, or what?" Bentley whispered.

Xaal rose an eyebrow, watching the scene play out in front of him. Humans...they were very amusing, something he was beginning to understand the longer he was around this group. Regardless, it made sense for him to scout things out. Gabriel definitely wasn't the most fleet-footed, and he still wasn't sure on what to make of Bentley, who seemed to have a relatively short temper. "I'll be swift." He finally said, opening his eyes and turning away from the group. Taking his hands out of his pockets, the Drow silently, and nimbly, leaped into the air, his hands easily taking a hold of a branch. Without stopping his momentum, Xaal tensed the muscles in his core, and acrobatically swung himself onto the branch, instantly leaping off and onto a higher foothold. Within seconds, he was completely out of sight.
[[Amaryllis, do I have the rights to input enemies into the campsite? I'm thinking bandits, but I'm not sure. ]]

(so, everyone is outside a campsight because they think there might be some friendly people there, or at least supplies. Xaal is climbing a tree to get a better view, and once they get more info from him they're going to head in. Sounds like Ink's going to stick some enemies in there though, so there's probably going to be fighting,)

[[ What she said. ^^ Except, I'm thinking of friendly bandits, haha. Give the group a small break from the fighting. It'll be tense for sure, though.
And gotcha! ]]

Gabriel was mildly impressed. Despite the rocky relations with Xaal, he held respect for people who could do good stealth work. He'd never been great at it. He tried to catch a glimpse of the campsite through the trees, but the forest grew too densely. It really was creepy. He thought he could hear the sounds of voices and people moving around in the camp, which helped to subtract from the odd silence of the forest. He took a deep breath and waited.

[[ 'Course it's chill with me, friendo. I'm not the GM, so I don't know what she'd say, but I'm cool with it. c: ]]
Predictably enough, the camp was, in fact, inhabited.
In the middle of the large clearing, a large bonfire was stoked by a husky, grizzly man in an apron, an abnormally large boar roasting over the crackling fire. Multiple tents of varying sizes littered the camp at random, while at least a dozen other men of various sizes kept themselves busy. A few were arm-wrestling over a rough wooden table, near the fire, while a few others wrestled in mud, a bit closer to Xaal's perch than he was comfortable with. Some tanned leather, while others merely kept watch. What everyone had in common, however, was the steel weaponry located somewhere on the body. The large cook leaned against an equally large battleaxe as he watched his boar cook, and everyone else had a weapon either on their person, or resting in the grass nearby. They were armed, dangerous, and..not exactly hostile, either. Then again, they didn't seem to notice the crouched Drow, so their hostility remained to be seen. What really drew Xaal's attention, was the large tent located at the back of the clearing, the entrance covered in thick, tan canvas. Something in his gut told him that the leader was inside. Xaal trusted his gut over all else.
Eyes narrowed in contemplation, Xaal silently made his way back to the group, ready to report what he found.

[Are you going to wait to see what Amaryllis says to continue, or should I just post assuming you gave the rest of the group the information you just posted with? Either way, one of her characters is going to lead, so I can't really do much to begin with.]

(Guys, please, you don't need to ask me everything. I appreciate the respect, but we're all equal when we role-play together. If I'm not on, you shouldn't be afraid to make decisions. If anyone has a problem with something another person does, we can just straight out say it and modify it or make it work. I don't want anyone to be held back because they don't feel like they don't have the 'authority' to make a decision. Sure, I could see if you were going to totally twist the world, take over someone else character or something like that, but decisions like these don't need to be asked or waiting for a certain person to give the okay.) (Yes, Dragons, you may be with the bandits. Sure, the bandits can be friendly. Whatever, you all seem to agree on it, and even if you didn't bring it up, it would make for a pleasant surprise.) -- "Alright. Let's head in, be on guard everyone." Aima said. Aucx cautiously moved forward, leading the group silently through opening in the brush until the camp came into full view. Now, it was a waiting game. How would this group of heavily weaponed people go about perceiving their formation. She was so curious to know, though she was also cautious, waiting for a battle to break out. She noted the larger tent and assumed that's where the central power of the camp resided. They probably wouldn't hurt them without consent from the group's leader.

The twins followed closely behind Aucx. There were two outcomes here: The bandits were friendly, or their motely crew would experience death by axe firsthand. Bentley opted for the first. She still wasn't exactly ecstatic to be under order from someone with a set of talking keys, or anyone really. Either way, she knew that no matter how much she complained, that still didn't change the fact that Aima was a good strategist. She readied her fists, and she saw Gabriel do the same.

Bentley glanced warily at some of the camp members, who had stopped what they were doing and had started to stare at them. She straightened, and she felt Gabriel tense beside her. The pair turned slightly, almost standing back-to-back. They were ready for a fight.

[[Sounds good. I was waiting for Dragons to get the okay from you, so it all works out. ]]
Xaal frowned slightly as he watched the bandits cautiously, hands resting in the pockets of his overcoat. The ever-present heat of his trusty pistols seemed to call to him, but he refused to attack unless things seemed to get hairy. They needed information, and killing everyone in sight would not help their precarious situation. Seeing as no one wanted to break the tense silence, the Drow sighed, but stayed his tongue for now. He wasn't a human - it was extremely likely that he would only make matters worse if he began speaking.
After a few more tense seconds of silence, one of the muddier bandits make his way towards them, his dirty hand gripping a small, razor-sharp hatchet. He brandished it lightly, but seemed relatively at ease as he scratched drying mud off of his cheek. Green eyes watched the group suspiciously, narrowing slightly at Xaal. A sneer formed on his lips.
"And just who in the blazes are you folks, walkin' in on a private encampment?" The bandit asked, spitting to the side. A few others readied their weapons, waiting for the group's response. Xaal's fingers twitched.
[[Also, please be patient with me, haha. I RP on another site, as well, so my attention is divided between the two.]]

Bentley nudged Gabriel. He was always better with people anyway. She could almost feel his annoyed sigh as he stepped forward. "We're uh... We're not from around here. We were wondering if you could help us out. We don't want any trouble or anything, just to talk." he said evenly.
