"Wonderful, I'm on track then. If you need help getting a room for the night, I was allowed a large raise for this, shall we call it vacation?" She walked beside him as Uriah started to lead the way. Arabella's feet were tired. She walked through half the night last night before she started seeing things in the woods and thought it was time to stop. Arabella was surprised her tiredness didn't show on her face.

" I have no money in my, I'm sorry." Uriah apologized. Servants couldn't carry money in them, they couldn't he trusted. Uriah walked around the path, making sure to avoid some of the bad spots of mud that hadn't dried quite yet. Hopefully the town would have rooms or a room open. It was likely with such a big town. "When we get to town it might be better for me to talk. They don't take kindly to foreigners as I'm sure you've seen."

Arabella felt bad about his financial situation, and waned to help, but her king gave her just enough money for the whole scout mission for one person. Well, maybe if I skipped a few meals I'm sure I could make it somehow... Arabella thought to herself. Or she could maybe get some food for free if she tried to hunt a little, or maybe Uriah knew a thing or two about the flora around here that was safe to consume. "Don't worry about the money. I'll cover it." She said this with confidence but inside she wasn't so sure. Arabella changed the subject to keep her mind off of it, "Yes, I have seen. None of the places I've been to take kindly to me. Then again, I've only been to two other nations. The last one I went to, they all seemed...frightened when I passed through their villages. They even went as far as hiding their children from me!"

Uriah felt bad for having to depend on this girls money, it almost made him regret coming. Uriah listened as she told her story. He chuckled, not something he was used to doing freely. "Like they though you were eat them?" He asked. "Sometimes women and their children give me the same look." He said, shaking his head. "People are afraid of what they don't understand." Uriah caught sight of the town, they wouldn't be long now. It would be nice to rest after all this walking. Arabella might be tired as well.

Arabella laughed a little too, "yes, I, Arabella the troll, have come to eat all the children!" She rolled her eyes but smiled at the same time. She was thankful to finally approach the city after a lot of uphill walking. *Finally!* this journey had been harder work than it was worth. And she wasn't even half way through! *great...one village down, 300 to go...*

Uriah laughed a little harder at her comment. "This is an inn close to front of the town. It's decent and the owner is more levelheaded then others, we might be able to find a room there." He suggested. Arabella did seem a little relieved at seeing the village. Uriah hoped his horse friend hadn't put the word out about the traveling pair. It do him no good to go to jail now, not when he was relishing his first taste of freedom in a long time.

"Well, that's good. I've missed talking to sane people." She opened the door to the inn and found a dining area on the bottom floor. Lamps hung from the ceiling to keep things lit but the corners were still a bit dark. On the opposite wall was a counter with chairs pulled up to the bar like area. She saw a tall, sturdy man. At least 6' in height. He was bald and seemed to have honest looking green eyes. Behind him were barrels of whiskey and other drinks. Once he saw them come in he waved them over and said with a loud, yet welcoming voice, "Hello travelers! What brings you to my humble inn?"
Arabella walked over to where the man was, she made sure that her cloak covered her sword so he wouldn't take her as a young trouble maker. "One room is all." She said quieter than usual, she was shy around adults.
"And how do you plan on paying for that miss? He ignored the boy, already guessing he was one of her friends
Arabella took out a sack of coins. She had a few sacks of coins. Each one was filled with another country's currency. She picked out about 20 small coins. And put it on the counter. The man took it without hesitation. He counted it and checked a few to make sure it wasn't counterfeit. "Okay, your room is the last one on the right on the 3rd story." Arabella put away the coins and nodded her thanks before heading up the stairs

Uriah watched the exchange quietly. He noticed a few travelers eyeballing him. They probably wondered why a pretty haired foreigner was doing, traveling with such a low statused citizen. Once Arabella paid for their room Uriah was more then happy to follow her upstairs and away from prying eyes. His feet were a little sore from walking, but he was used to it since he ran errands all the time. The innkeeper didn't seem to recognize them so it was more hopeful that they wouldn't have any trouble with the other visitors. Uriah only had one question that bugged him now. Did their room have two beds?

ROFL!!! XD. He's so awkward!) Arabella's mind was blank except for the thought of sleeping. She pulled out her key after her hand missed her pocket at first and went through air. She blinked a few times, hoping it would wake her up. She unlocked the door and opened it to reveal a room that pretty much matched the rest of the inn. There were two lamps hanging from the ceiling but only one was filled with oil and lit. There were two beds in the room. One on the left side and one next to the window. The room wasn't very big at all but it'll do. The shutters for the window were open, letting in the night air. Arabella didn't really think about the sleeping situation until a few mintues after she entered the room *thank God there are two beds in here.*

(Typical Uriah) Uriah watched her miss the pocket the first time. The girl was probably dead beat tired. Who knew how far she had traveled today. Uriah almost sighed with relief at the sight of two beds or just beds in general. "I may sound crazy but this is like luxury for me. All I slept on in the stable was a cot and I was lucky if they gave me a blanket." He said. He inhaled the fresh country air. Sure he loved horses, but it was nice to smell something different every once in awhile. The thought of new freedoms made Uriah's heart race and despite the fact that he didn't know Arabella that well he would much rather be with her then at his job. His mother would have loved to see him like this, not under a master, of course, she never would.

(Yeah, you can join!) Arabella walked over slowly to the bed by the window and just flopped down on her back. "This is luxury to you?" She felt bad, she's used to living close to the castle in luxury. Well of course not as luxurious as living in the castle but it was quite nice. Arabella didn't really care if the inn was dirty, she just wanted sleep.

"Oh yes." Uriah replied. Maybe Arabella had never slept on a cot, it was not comfortable. She was higher class of course she hadn't slept on a cot before. Uriah was dumb for entertaining the thought. He sat down on the edge of his bed almost laughing when Arabella flopped down. He began to take his boots off his feet, putting his dagger on a stand. "Do people call you Bella?" He asked her curiously.

"Not really, but that's up to you. You can call me 'forighener' for all I care." Arabella kicked off her boots to where they spun in mid air and landed in the general area of the foot of her bed. She was too tired to bed down and take them off

Uriah looked up from untying his boots. "I think I'll call you Bella, if you don't mind." He said with a smile. Uriah pulled back the blankets on his bed and crawled under, shrugging off his shirt where Arabella couldn't see. He never slept fully clothed, it was always hot in the stable and he would burn up if he kept his shirt on.

"If you want to." Arabella was having a horrible time trying to stay up to talk. She was so tired she didn't even pull back the sheets. Just slept on top of them. Her clothes kept her warm enough anyhow.

Yeah it would be boring if we didnt go to morning ) Arabella woke up early automatically. She always wakes up just as the sun has showed itself. She slipped her boots on and stretched, she was sore after not stretching yesterday. She relit the lamp that burned out last night and kicked the foot board of Uriah's bed, "We've got to get going. We should have been out the door by now."

Uriah jerked up when Arabella kicked his bed. He blinked a couple times to clear his vision, now knowing it was her instead of an intruder. "Give me a minute." He said, searching through the bed for his shirt. On certain he found it, the servant pulled it over his head before promptly reaching for his boot and dagger. He tucked the dagger in his boot and pulled them on, standing up.

She looked out the open window to look at the town. It was larger than she thought, and she saw many different foreigners here. Some coming as far as the Middle Eastern countries. A trading village...that could be useful for the takeover. Arabella pulled out one of her little maps, tucked away in her cloak, and marked down this village as a trading one. To own a trading village during a war, and another country's at that, could mean you owned all supplies almost automatically once you seized it. She folded the map as small as it would go and put it away. "Ready to look at the town?" She asked Uriah. Wanting to scope out everything she can. She would be lucky if she found some traders from the Middle East. They could come in handy later on with their rare goods.

Uriah nodded. He ran his hand through his short hair a few times to correct anything that had strayed. It felt weird not to wake up the stables. Uriah had been a servant since he was ten and the stable had always been his home. It felt good to out in the world and he found himself not wanting to return to his old job. Uriah glanced out the window at the village. He wondered what would be down there as he hadn't had the chance to explore it himself. "Let's go." He said cheerfully and began to walk out of the room and down the steps of the inn. They creaked beneath his feet.

Arabella didn't hesitate to leave. She wanted to see what this town had to offer, as well as study it's surrounding areas for possible ways to penetrate the walls. "Do you come to this town often? I can tell it's a trading village but do you know what kind of people trade here? What they sell perhaps?" As long as she was here she could maybe buy something if she spent her money right. As they walked down the road she noticed that people really didn't pay attention to her. Arabella figured it must have been because they see foreigners quite often, and she was not a strange sight. What I nice change. she thought,

"Not really. Servant's are rarely allowed this far from the palace even on our days off. They like to keep us close. I imagine we have some Eastern countries around here. They love the resources this region has to offer and will trade just about anything for them." Uriah told her as he looked around. He almost sighed with happiness and he closed his eyes for a second. Did Arabella get to experience this all the time? Uriah tried to imagine what it was like, traveling to so many different places. Maybe if he could somehow buy his freedom from the king, Uriah could do this one day too. Arabella seemed to like it so maybe he would too.

She tucked her hair behind her ear and bit her lip as she thought, "Do you know what the most valuable resource your country depends on? Trading wise I mean, obviously water is a valuable resource." Arabella hoped her questions didn't sound as confidential as she thought they sounded. If she did trade something that was important to this country and gave it her king, he could most likely get some sort of use out of it. Even a small sample would be fine. Just something to show him. She felt slightly selfish though. This trip seemed to be pretty much about her, which some of it was, but it was still important to Uriah. She should try and focus a little more on him.

Uriah grinned and brought out a bracelet on his wrist that had diamonds in it. "Our king loves jewel's. We don't need them but he never passes up a chance to get them. Some people say it's going to drive him crazy and are just waiting Brom to take the throne." He put the bracelet back. "We also need metals. The country is one the brink of war and we need amour, building material, swords. Anything that makes us superior." Uriah told her. He knew he shouldn't explain so much of the countries doings as he did, but he trusted Arabella not to abuse the information he had given her.

She was surprised at this, Uriah telling her all of this information. Especially to a foreigner who is most likely part of the country his was going to war with. He should be more careful about what he says. Arabella knew she would have to tell her king this, or else...she didn't want to think about it. She began having an argument with herself in her head. The king knows a liar when he sees one, and if I say I have know clue when it comes to information like this...but this is Uriah's country! He has greeted you with hospitality!...He's just one person and who says he'll be hurt in all of this if you told the king? She wasn't sure what to do anymore but an idea suddenly struck her, "Why don't you just travel with me? I mean through all the lands I'm supposed to. Not just this one." Arabella felt quite sure that he would say yes to her offer. Now everyone is happy The king gets his empire, Uriah gets his freedom...what could go wrong?

Uriah looked at Arabella surprised by her offer. "R-really?" He stuttered in surprise. That would mean no returning to his country and being an outlawed fugitive. "You be considered dangerous here then because you'd be traveling with a runaway servant. I shouldn't let you take on that burden." Uriah said guiltily. They might be hunted by some greedy mercenary. Uriah was afraid to put his new friend in that danger, but yet it would be freedom. Purely his own! He could go anywhere, become what was normally impossible for any servant. Maybe Arabella would let him travel with her all the time, like a pair almost. Uriah didn't even let his mind wonder past that thought. He was still a servant and she was upper class. Even free he had no chance.

"It wouldn't be a burden. These mafias wouldn't be able to go through my kingdom's borders if the knights knew it was me they were hunting me down for. And for something as small as taking a servant from his home country willingly! It would hardly be a burden." She wanted him to go. Arabella wanted to see her friend happy, and he would happier even as a fugitive than being trapped here. And if she recieved what she expectes her pay to be after all this mess, it could be enough to lawfully free him. *yes, that would work...* she thought

"I'm in your debt." Uriah said quietly and bowed his head. Even though Arabella was a year younger then him she seemed to have the maturity of someone much older and for that he was grateful. "I will do whatever I can to help you out in your journey." He said firmly with a smile. He had never been outside his kingdom, the thought of a new world rocked him to his core. Let the discipliner try to find him. If they did he definitely was done coming back willingly.
