Just like it sounds! Pretty much my two characters are running away, anyways! Feel free to jump in!))
Meridian kept low to her stallion's neck to avoid threatening branches. The red stallion was the swiftest horse in the stables, matched only by his grey brother, running next to him, his ears pinned slightly. The two stallions tried to nip at each other every once in a while, but we're mainly focused on the job at hand... Running away. Meridian was the princess and eldest heir to one of the most powerful Elven kingdoms on the continent, riding next to her was her head guard and one of her most trusted friends, though many could argue that he shouldn't be trusted at all, being a vampire. If anything it made her trust him more. The vampire, Xavier, kept his dark gold eyes peeled for danger up ahead. Suddenly he pushed his stallion forward, coaxing a bit more speed out of him and then pulled him to a halt, puffing in front of Meridian's stallion. The red horse reared, whinnying in indignation as Xavier brought his pail finger to his thin lips. Meridian's silver eyes widened as she placed a hand on the pommel of her long sword, glancing around as well. The two stallions danced nervously, tossing their heads anxiously. There was something out there and now was not a good time to be caught, not so close to enemy borders, it could cause trouble that the crumbling peace did not need.

(Awesome!) "For the last time sir, would you please just come back to the castle!" A man dressed in servant's clothes begged a young man. Brom looked at the servant his dark brown eyes showing hints of irritation. "No, Simon, I told you I'm not going back. Not right now." The young prince was getting quite annoyed with his servant's perpetual whining. Who would want to sit in a stuffy castle all day, reading books on common courtesy? Brom ran a hand along the side of his short cropped brown hair and looked down at his servant. He was a good six inches taller then Simon. "Tell my father I will be back later and that you shall not be punished for failing to bring me back home-" Brom stopped midsentence and held his breath. His ears strained for noise around him. It sounded like horses were coming. Brom stepped forward, involuntarily snapping a branch. Suddenly, the noise vanished. Brom squinted, trying to see through the branch's of a pine tree. Someone was out there and they dangerously close to the borders.
(That look okay? XD)

looks great!))
Pulling her hand off of her sword, Meridian took this moment to tug the hood of her dark green cloak over her Raven colored hair, silver eyes narrowing now. She glanced over at Xavier, raising a groomed eyebrow. Stepping off of his grey mount the vampire glanced around, also pulling his dark blue cloak up and over his face. Joining him, Meridian took a few cautious steps forward, one hand once again on her hilt, the other on the reins, pulling her skittish stallion behind her. "What is it?" She whispered, her head of guard having better senses than her. "Two people, maybe one now, not positive, but we really shouldn't be this close to the border." He muttered, giving the princess a pointed look. She exhaled through her nose but didn't respond, instead peered forward where she assumed the people or person was heard.

Brom stepped closer to the sound, careful of where he put his feet now. "Brom, please." The servant whispered harshly. Brom shot his servant a glare. Did everyone think that since he was only half elf he was defenseless? If Simon was worried he could stay where he was, but Brom was going to see what was going on. He stooped under the trees, keeping his body in a low crouch to avoid being spotted. It was a shame he wasn't wearing any hunting clothes or he could be almost invisible. Brom halted when he saw the silhouette of two figures. They were shadowed, like these people were trying to hide. Brom touched the dagger on his left hip, waiting to see what these mysterious figures were going to do. With the enemy territory close by it was likely to assume that these people were dangerous. They must have know he was around too, since they spoke in such hushed toned, fueling his assumption about them.

Xavier tilted his head towards something, or more likely, someone crouched not too terribly far off. Meridian followed his gaze and nodded. "Well only one way to find out if they're hostile or not, yes?" She asked with a small smirk. Xavier shook his head, "I would advise against whatever is going through your head but I fear it is a lost cause." The vampire said with a sigh. Meridian grinned, "You know me so well." She said, swinging up onto her horse's back and walking towards the stranger, Xavier not far behind. "Hello?" She called, a hand held discreetly close to the pommel of her sword.

Brom was about to take another step forward when the figures started whispering again, something seemed different about the male, but Brom couldn't quite figure out what it was. If nothing else they were definitely not from the part of the Kingdom. Suddenly the more feminine figure began moving toward him. Brom's fingers laced around his dagger. Then she called out to what he assumed was himself. Brom bit his lip, deciding whether or not to respond. Finally, he decided it would be better not to stay silent. "Who goes there?" He called in a clear voice, making sure he was heard and that he wasn't afraid.

Meridian snorted a bit but continued forward. "Well now, just because I called out first doesn't mean I would be so naive as to tell you who I was right away." She said in a matching clear voice as she drew ever nearer to the person that could make or break them. She tilted her head, careful not to let any of her hair fall out of her hood as she did so and grinned, "But I can tell you we are just trying to pass through, we don't mean to cause any trouble." It was Xavier's turn to be amused because if there was one thing this princess was known for it was how often she caused trouble.

Odessa sat still atop the white stallion. Her long, black curls sat against her back, framing her creamy white face. Her bright blue eyes reflected the moonlight that filtered through the treetops above. As she rode through the forest, her mind returned to where she was less than an hour ago. Her task was simple, as was her reward: find and return the princess, and the Elven king would absolve all charges and their punishments. The human girl sat upright, pulling her horse to a stop as the sound of voices reached her ears. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" She brought her horse to a slow walk, the small dagger at her hip feeling heavier in it's sheath,
Sorry that took so long. c: Hope that this works.

Xavier paused, catching a sound, or rather, a voice. Scanning the forest he saw a flash of white and frowned. Stepping up to stand next to Meridian he gave her a look from under his hood and then turned to the person they were currently attempting to convince to let them by. Meridian heard it to and saw his look, but decided to ignore it for now, currently the most important thing was getting across the border, and if they couldn't do that, well... Then there had to be another way.

Brom was getting anxious as the figure was continuing to approach him and he wasn't sure whether to trust her or not. "No trouble? Really? Being so close to the border, I somehow doubt your explanation." He said dryly. Brom decided to take a few steps back so he was no longer stooping, but was still hidden. He was waiting for an answer when a new voice called through the brush. Another girl. He ground his teeth. This was not his plan for a quiet day in the woods.

alright so I was waiting for Icey to respond but idk if that is going to happen so we will continue on and if she decides to jump back in then yay!))
Meridian shrugged, "Well that is your choice whether to believe us or not, but we really are just trying to pass through." She said, coming to a stop. This was not going well, if she didn't earn this man's trust than someone was going to find her and haul her back to the castle. Not to mention the consequences for Xavier being with her. Losing her was one thing, she could lose almost anyone if she set her mind to it but actually aiding in her escape? He could be stripped of his title for that. No, best to just not be caught.

Brom still wasn't trusting of this newcomer. He decided to take a risk and step out of the brush enough so that his face could be seen. Keeping his hand on the handle of his dagger, he looked at the hooded figures. "Why do you hide your face?" He demanded quickly. Most passerby's didn't disguise themselves in such a way. Seeing a male figure out put him on edge also. Hopefully they weren't looking for a fight.

Meridian thought for a moment, studying the new comer that was now showing his face... He looked familiar, but it had been so long since anyone from the neighboring country had been allowed into the palace that she couldn't quite be sure if she knew him. "Well, for one thing my friend here gets severely burned in the sun so he needs to be protected from it." She said with an heir of nonchalance, not giving anything away unless someone thought long and hard about it, and still, Xavier tensed beside her, jaw clenching tightly.

Brom narrowed his eyes. Severely burned? What did she mean by that? He tried to identify this traveler but her hood was making it difficult. If he could get closer maybe he could learn who they were and decide whether or not to let them pass by. "I cannot let you pass without seeing whom I'm allowing across these borders. If you friend must hide his face let him, but let me see yours." Brom stepped forward. Sure it was more dangerous for him but it would be for the girl too. He hoped she didn't know his identity too well.

Meridian frowned for a moment before turning towards Xavier and raising an eyebrow. He just gave a small shake of his head, giving up in his counseling of her. In one swift movement she was off of her horse, with a huff she let her green hood down and her raven colored hair spill out. "If you insist." She said, a small smirk gracing her pink lips. "Now, would you be so kind as to allow us to pass? She asked, crossing her arms and raising a dark eyebrow.

Brom stepped back when she jumped down. He narrowed his dark brown eyes, immediately recognizing the figure in front of him and he had a good guess to who her companion was too. The prince had been trained to recognize his enemies face. "What are you doing out here, princess..." The words slithered out venomously.

Meridian rolled her eyes, "Now, now, none of that. I told you we came in peace didn't I? I'm not trying to single handedly bring down your kingdom, trust me. And besides, even if my father did have plans for that do you really think that I would be the one he chose for the job?" She raised her eyebrows once again, the not very princess-like grin never leaving her face. Xavier rolled his eyes and dismounted as well, not removing his hood.

Brom touched the handle of his dagger lightly and glanced at her companion. "Excuse me for not wanting to trust a enemy princess on my kingdoms border who happens to be traveling with a vampire." Brom said dryly. Ye should turn her in immediately, but her vampire friend scared him plus he wanted to know why she was here.

The sounds of fighting was the only sound that could be heard inside the inn's basement. A group of people were standing around as two men went at it clearly in a agreed upon fight. Both men were quite huge beast, and they both preyed upon the other until finally the man with a bald head knocked out the other guy, and looked around the room. "WHO'S NEXT?!" He called out, and waited for someone to take a step into the arena. However he wasn't quite expecting what he was about to receive. The crowd moved out of the way as the Inn's basement was opened, and a large shadow casted upon the wall.
The figure slowly found it ways to the bottom, and the crowd awaited to see the beast that await them. "It be I who calls next." A irish sounding voice called, and everyone looked to see what brave warrior answered the large man's challenge. What man would dare step into the Dragon's nest, and take him on. Many expected another man beast, some of the females hoped it was a handsome prince. However their answers weren't called by such a thing. Standing at the bottom of the stairs was a small imp of a man. A dwarf with long black hair that went to his neck, and was tied in a ponytail. His facial hair was braided into ten notes. He laid down his large axe that he had upon his back, and pointed at the large man who was easily three times his size. The crowd burst into laugher for only second because as they did the dwarf ripped off his brown ale stained shirt, and he jumped with no hesitation onto the giant man, and stuck his thumb into his eye. "Laugh while you can!" He called out as he jumped down as a fist was about to hit him, and he countered with a heavy kick to the man's kneecap sending him to the ground. The dwarf quickly ended the fight with a strong headbutt, and lifted his hands in the air. "THAT'S RIGHT CHEER FOR IVAIN THE CONQUEROR!" He yelled, and the crowd didn't let him down. "Lord Ivain, fighting isn't something a Lord should be doing." The voice of human female went off as a girl wearing a maid outfit came rushing down. She had long blonde hair, and a gentle face. "We must return to the manor." She informed him as she took a glance around the room. Ivain Mcoshifvic was the adopted son of a high lord, not a prince, but a high lord of the nearby town. Since the Lord could not have a son he had chosen to adopt, and as the Lord was feeling odd that day he had chosen to adopt a dwarf baby. That child had grown up to become Ivain The Conqueror. A well known warrior on the field who despite his size was quite the fighter. The human maid was the daughter of Ivain's father's friend who having recently gone into debt because of her father was sold to Ivain to be his servant. "Lord, please i'm the one who gets yelled at by your father when you do things like this." She pleaded, and moved over to him. "Come now." She added, and after a moment of nothing he finally sighed, and followed her upstairs.
Ivain looked back at his work with a smile before following Elise. "You be lucky you are good on thy eye Elise, or outburst like that would earn you a punishment." He ordered, and walked out of the inn. "I was given the command to slay a dragon, and I will. I just want to have a bit of fun first." He laughed as he looked up at a nearby mountain. "Now where is Clain?" He asked Clain being the best friend of Ivain, a hunter who agreed to go on this little adventure. Clain was a werewolf the kind that can only be killed with silver, and need moonlight to change.
Elise was about to speak when Clain put an arm around her, and smiled. "Aye lad your favorite mutt wouldn't run off! Not when you got such a lovely servant." Clain joked the man was a pretty boy long raven black hair, and a bow, and arrow. The only thing that made him not every girl's dream was he wasn't a prince, and when a full moon hit he turned into a feral beast. Elise took the moment to move away from him, and cross her arms not speaking as she didn't very well care for this conversation. "Did you get the blasted map?" Ivain asked, and with a small comment about how he had to flirt with a ugly woman for it he handed over the map to Ivain. "Rezof's mountain, Home of the dragon of crows." He read the information on the map, and simply tossed it to Elise. "Aye who cares, let's get going. We still have to cross the forest, and I ain't allowed to ride a horse." With the he walked towards the forest. This mission was given to Ivain since he got into to many fights. Leading his father to only allow him to keep the title of lord if he slayed the dragon with his friends. However the one most annoying rule was he wasn't allowed to ride a horse. That caused this mission to last a full year just to reach the mountain, and another year to get back. This gave Ivain's father time to pick a normal son if Ivain let him down.

not at all! Jump on in wherever!)) Meridian's grin widened. "Well that isn't a problem, Xavier is wonderful, house trained and everything!" She said as a joke. Xavier just let out a sigh, rolling his dark golden eyes and stroking the neck of his grey stallion. Meridian was stalling, she really didn't want to tell this man that the reason she needed across the border was because she was running away from her father and his politics. No, that wasn't needed at all.

Arabella was at the inn when the two men fought. She paid no attention to it however. She had no interest in that sort of thing. Arabella lifted up the black cloth that covered her nose and mouth. At 17 she wasn't allowed to do much around this town. Full of drunks and everything around that sort of lot. She just needed a room for the previous night and she was about to be on her way. She moved her cloak to reveal a fencing sword with a golden hilt. Arabella paid nearly an arm and a leg for it but the craftsmanship was incredible. She tucked her dark hair, cut at her jaw behind her ear. Arabella was sent on a mission by another country to examine the neighboring ones. Just to see how their economy works. Maybe they would take over and build a massive empire. Not that she cared. They only hired her because they knew she had experience in the feild as a spy and had a knack for self-defense. As she exited the inn the sun shone off her silver tunic and pants. A classic look from where she came from. But not many people seemed to have noticed.
