Welcome to LogClan! This RP Goes by a schedule which will be listed in the section below. But no matter; LogClan cats come in all different shapes and sizes! We got long-furred cats, short-furred cats, hairless cats, cats with disabilities, cats who are prodigies in certain skills, and we even got cats who may not have anything special about them, but they still matter to us.
How do short-furred and hairless cats thrive here? ... We'll get to that later!
LogClan also has three different camps, but we have one leader, and two representatives for the extra camps.

The LogClan RP will go by the Eastern Daylight Time / Eastern Standard Time (depending on the time of year) in terms of timezones. If you are in a different timezone, please check to see what time it would be in your area.

In terms of seasons, LogClan lives in Prince of Wales Island, Canada, so we will go through the seasons through the Northern Hemisphere. However we will not go through the seasons regularly, instead it could be summer time where you are, but in LogClan it's wintertime.

LogClan's history goes far back.
THE BEGINNING, AND WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOUR CATS.
A long, long time ago (approximately 20 years ago), a loner by the name of Log arrived in the area, along with many other cats. When the cats first arrived, Log declared herself the leader of the group, with Mushroom as a second-in-command (deputy) and Ptarmigan as a healer (medicine cat).
A little while after the cats first set up camp at the very top of the mountains, She noticed that the hairless cats and short-furred cats were barely holding on to life. Since it was warmer at lower levels, Log decided to have them set up camp at the bottom of the mountain, near the Two-Leg village. Which worked because the Two-Legs were respectful enough to leave the
As a few moons passed, Log learned that a large group of cats were struggling to catch some of the prey up in the mountains, and asked her to consider having a third camp set up in the forest eastern to the mountain, with the level being halfway of the mountain's height (Mountain is at 19,895ft, and the forest was at 9,947ft 6in). She eventually agreed and sent the cats on their way.
But there was another problem: How can the three groups talk to each other?

THE DISCOVERY OF STARCLAN, AND THE FULL MOON GATHERING
When Log was travelling with her group on a patrol, in the center of the triangle of the camps was a tunnel on the path down the mountain. When they got to the end of the tunnel (aka the Heart of the Mountain), there was a glowing white tree with no leaves on it, and the surrounding grass was lavender.
Upon touching her nose with it, Log entered a dream where she discovered StarClan, and met the current leader of StarClan: Icestar. This eventually caused Log to have the first ever leader ceremony, becoming Logstar, leader of LogClan.
But there was still a problem: How can the whole clan come together to talk? Logstar then eventually came across a lake, nearby the forest that one of the sub-camps were in, and there was a bridge to a stone circle, with three tall rocks for the three leaders of each camp.
When the first gathering was held, it was deemed successful!

1. This roleplay is LGBTQ+, Disabled, and Neurodivergent friendly. Both in terms of characters and people.
2. I'd prefer if we can go for realistic cats. However, this does not mean you aren't able to, for example, have characters wearing accessories. But I will not accept having your character having a whole bunch of Two-Leg accessories. You are limited to only one cat with a Two-Leg accessory. You have no limits to how many cats with natural accessories (leaves, berries, mushrooms, etc.) you can have.
3. Please keep swearing to a minimum, as I am accepting to the younger half of the forums.
4. All Forum Rules Apply! ^^
5. Even though we have a somewhat strict schedule, I understand people have lives off of the digital realm. Please try to roleplay at least once or twice a week at the minimum.
6. Hate the character, not the person. If I find this happening your characters will be removed without warning (or maybe exiled in-rp??)
7. When submitting a character, PLEASE mention me. There is a good chance I may not see your messages otherwise, so please do so! The codeword to join is what your favorite Sanrio Character is! (e.g. Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, My Melody, etc.)
8. When giving your blessing to your adult cats, please do not make your blessing overpowered (e.g. Will never die, Can transform into other animals). However, somewhat powerful blessings may be allowed with limitations (e.g. Can levitate for 5 seconds at a time, Can see 6 moons into the future). Blessings that involve an ability to communicate with animals may only be limited to one animal and one animal only.

✧ THE LOGCLAN CODE ✧
1. Defend your Clan with your life. Loners and Kittypets are your next priority to help, while any hostile Rogues must be escorted off of the territory. You may have relationships outside of the Clan, and any inconveniences should be dealt with asap.
2. The world is an open place. Feel free to hunt where you believe is safe.
3. Kits, queens, apprentices, and elders must be fed first. This should be followed by the healer and their apprentice if they have one, deputy, then leader, then the warriors.
4. Prey is killed to be eaten and for practice, give thanks to the prey and StarClan
5. A kit must be six moons old to become an apprentice, or whenever the leader deems them ready.
6. Newly appointed warriors will travel to the lake and collect 9 pebbles in the water. Once they collect these pebbles, they must return to their nest and align them in a circle. When the warrior falls asleep, they will receive a blessing that will either occur throughout their life, or happen once and never again.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having to mentor at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become the next leader of their camp after the old leader dies or is exiled. The Summit Camp Leader is the main leader of the Sub-Camps.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen at dawn.
10. A gathering with the full Clan will be held when the full moon rises.
11. Borders must be checked and marked daily, challenge all trespassing cats but a warrior must always remember that all cats may have their own intentions. Whether good or bad.
12. No LogClan cat can neglect a kit in pain or at risk of being in pain.
13. Obey the Code before the Leader.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless if it's self-necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior may choose to retire into the life of a kittypet instead of becoming an elder.
16. Medicine cats may take a mate but only when they have trained an apprentice first.
17. Dreams shared with StarClan are yours and yours alone and to share them with any cat besides the medicine cat, medicine cat apprentice, deputy, or leader is disrespectful in the name of our ancestors.

However, she truly believes in herself and others, and can resemble the embodiment and spirit of Clan Life.

Russetshade is a onghaired black tomcat, whose deep black pelt grew a great ombre of rust along the thick waves of his coat. his chest and neck fur bush out into a great soot-grey mane, seemingly untouched by the bleaching from many a day spent in the sun. any otherwise noticeable features include a white splotch deep in his chest, closer to the beginnings of his underbelly, and a white right forepaw. his eyes shine a deep orange hue, a shade not too unlike the reddened fringe of his pelt. some of his whiskers are also crimped and somewhat curly at the ends. Russetshade is the nervous kind of cat, and is rather anxious. However, he does his best to show greatest effort, and is overall gentle

She is a stern, no-nonsense lady, who is also overall anxious.
