here we go !! sorry its a little short (and kinda bad ksnfkjsdf) BUBBLEWHISKER accompanied by: Shellstreak || By the camp entrance tag: Briarspirit
Bubblewhisker climbed her way out of the warrior's den with a long yawn- stretching out each limb as she made her way out. She was on the moonhigh patrol and happily slept in until well into the morning. She stood in the camp's center for a few moments longer, basking in the warmth of the suns rays as it beamed down. The camp was bustling with life now as apprentices, warriors and even the kits alike all wandered about. Blue eyes shifted around before she took to the camp entrance, deciding to head out to hunt.
However, Bubblewhisker was not exactly expecting to run into Shellstreak when she slipped through the entrance. With a huff, she sat back and pressed a paw to her nose. "Oh dear, my bad, Shellstreak. I didn't scent you before I stepped out." She apologized kindly, blue eyes glittering. Her gaze then caught sight of the frog dangling from the toms jaw, head tilting slightly. "Morning hunt, huh? In the marshes too? Brave." She purred softly and stood again, tail fluttering. "Maybe you can show me where you were hunting exactly? I would love to have a frog- its been so long." Bubblewhisker's mouth was watering purely at the thought.
It was also pretty obvious that Bubblewisker lacked the sense of when others wanted to be alone. So, instead, she bounced on her paws, looking excitedly at Shellstreak in hopes he would agree to showing her the part of the marshes that he had caught his prey in.

(Na I think if the post's bad it's because mine was a bad starter to reply to...I'm sorry for the bad writing Shellstreak | in camp | with Bubblewhisker (-` gumi Β΄- .β« πΎ )Immersed in his wish to enjoy the prey alone, Shellstreak was a little startled when he ran into the silver tabby at the entrance. He put his prey down quickly to reply to the silver warrior. "Oh hi there, Bubblewhisker," he mewed, thoughts spinning as the tabby's words slowly sink in to his mind. Heading back in the marsh, with a Clanmate, right when he had a tasty frog to enjoy? The thought didn't seem too appealing. But he couldn't ignore the look on his Clanmate's face--he found it unkind to turn her down, and despite holding a tendency to be alone right now, he didn't want to disappoint a Clanmate. "Sure, I'll show you some spots I often hunt at," he mewed to Bubblewhisker. With slight reluctance inward, he still offered: "Do you want to share the frog? Since we're heading back to the marsh, I think there's good chance we would find more. Or maybe if you'd like, we could leave the frog at the fresh-kill pile and head off right now."

Gullspeckle camp β accompanied by: Breezepaw, Firepaw & Palmbreeze he/him - warrior Battle training had become challenging for Breezepaw in the past two moons and Gullspeckle knew it too well. He held back a shaky sigh, listening to Firepaw plead with Palmbreeze to do battle training. The last thing I want to do is have Breezepaw become an embarrassment in front of his denmate and Palmbreeze, he thought, taking a moment to glance at the black tom.
As expected, his apprentice looked more than anxious. Gullspeckle knew practicing both hunting and battle skills was a great opportunity for Breezepaw. However, it was dead obvious to the warrior that the black apprentice wasn't ready for team training. As soon as the young cat's fur flattened, the grey spotted tom turned quickly to Breezepaw. "Sure, sure!" he mewed nervously, padding away from Firepaw and Palmbreeze. He flicked his tail in hopes that Breezepaw would follow him.
Once he was a bit away from the other two cats, Gullspeckle kept his gaze fixated on Breezepaw. "What's going on? Is it about the battle training? Or is it about Firepaw?" he asked, going through all of the possibilities in his head.

Rookpaw | camp | with Sharktooth πβππ π£π
Rookpaw listened to Sharktooth, actively making a mental note of the new information. He was a little surprised to hear that they could easily be found if you knew where to look. Rookpaw made sure to avoid the wet sand, not liking the way it would clump and stick in his paws, a part of him very glad that he didn't have fur as long as some of his clanmates. He picked up his pace when Sharktooth called for him, though.
He hurried over to them, standing on one of the rock surrounding the shell "Oh! You're right." his ears perked up and he leaned in a little to get a good look at the hermit crab. His first reaction was to reach out and bap it - like most cats - but he knew better than to just paw at it, when he was a kit he'd been pinched by a crab and that hadn't been an experience he wanted to repeat. Instead he waited to see what his mentor had to say.

sharing the silly sweetkit drawing here too because why not :3 with a lil leaf on her head: (aka the thing she is looking at) Of course her sister agreed without further discourse on the subject. Sweetkit always had brilliant ideas, so why would her littermates disagree in her foolproof plan? Of course, it wasn't actually foolproof. The only cats it would fool was probably... other kits, maybe. If their mother returned soon, they would for sure be caught and cuffed around the ear. But, alas, that was something the all too daring Sweetkit was willing to chance. I don't think Mama will even notice. Time to wake up Toadkit and get Lilykit to finish distracting Littlebee. She turned, gesturing for Puffinkit to head towards the opening in the nursery, before she bounced back towards the nest.
The chocolate tabby tom was still laying in the nest, comfy and cozy where mama had left him. Sweetkit couldn't help the small roll of her amber eyes, prodding at Toadkit's side harshly- but not too hard to hurt the other kit. Lowering her head, she hissed quietly the plan to get Toadkit up to his paws even faster.
"Come on, Sleepykit. You're gonna get left behind- Lilykit is distracting Littlebee so we can escape and explore outside the camp." Sweetkit whispered in a hushed tone. Huh, I guess she can whisper properly. Her excitement just seemed to ruin any secretiveness if she didn't try to contain it. She flicked her tail against Toadkit's nose and looked over her shoulder at her orange and white tabby sister, still conversing with the expecting queen, before she looked at her brother again. Sweetkit leaned in, nudged him out of the nest next and towards the small hole in the wall. "Puffinkit's already waiting for us, c'mon." She whispered.

sorry it took a bit to reply! :3 hopefully this one isn't bad-- i feel like it made no sense, but the words kinda just wrote themselves in a way xDD BUBBLEWHISKER accompanied by: Shellstreak || Camp tag: Briarspirit
Bubblewhisker twitched her whiskers curiously as the tom greeted her in return. He seemed to have not even noticed she was there until they actually bumped into one another. She couldn't help but feel amused, but she didn't want to grovel on it- instead, she allowed the tom to continue talking after her outburst about frogs, and wanting to learn the exquisite spot that Shellstreak had found just for it. She curled her tail around her paws as he suggested a few various ideas.
The young molly couldn't remember the last time she had been hunting while not on a hunting patrol. Going out with a clanmate just to find prey that would sit right for her own tummy wasn't something she typically did anymore- not since her kits, Icepaw and Wavepaw, had been born. Most of her time had been spent on taking care of them and watching over them- especially with Wavepaw's sudden anger about her own mentor becoming a queen and no longer being able to help train her. Flicking her ear, Bubblewhisker eventually responded.
"I don't have any preference, dear. I can wait to eat, so, I think you should eat now if you are hungry, I don't mind waiting a little longer, besides, the marsh won't run out of frogs before you're done." She purred softly. She didn't want to be the reason any cat didn't eat their share- especially when she was more than okay waiting until she caught something herself. Maybe it was the motherly queen in her, it wasn't like she could help it. Instead, Bubblewhisker opted to sitting there, allowing Shellstreak to eat as she groomed her lovely coat, bubbling with excitement to go and hunt as soon as he was finished.

[ camp & with puddleheart ] πβππ π£π
While Bumblepaw certainly noted the way Puddleheart looked at Honeypaw for a split second longer than anyone not concerned about her well being would, he decided not to bring it up. Honeypaw was already self-conscious enough about her 'issue' as it was, he didn't want to give any cat reason to make it worse.
Herb gathering, though? That he could do. He grinned and nodded his head at Puddleheart with a quick, "Ready!", before turning towards the entrance to camp. He briefly wondered if they should request a warrior escort, but figured if Puddleheart didn't feel the need to ask, he wouldn't mention it. Surely just gathering herbs couldn't be that dangerous, right?
Granted, since apparently even the clan's warriors were capable of incomprehensible acts that ended with them injured or sick, perhaps he shouldn't tempt fate by mentioning that assumption out loud.

Drifttumble grinned at her question, shrugging his shoulders. He never felt embarrassed when commenting on a clanmates beauty.
"Most cats probably would get embarrassed, but it doesn't bother me. I enjoy being told I look nice, so why wouldn't I do the same for my clanmates? Sure, I could tone down the flirting, but where's the fun in that?" he meowed, grin turning crooked as his eyes gleamed. Anyone who didn't know better would probably think flirting was his favorite past time activity - and they wouldn't entirely be incorrect.
"I'll gladly fish with you. What kind of competition are you thinking? Who can catch the most, or who can catch one the fastest? Not that I'm worried either way - everyone knows I'm the best fisher in the clan," he joked, tailtip flicking.

Tidefeather sat quietly outside the warriors den, watching her clanmates pad to and fro. The lithe silver tabby had always enjoyed observing the others as they went about their days, completing duties and performing small tasks. It was fun, in its own way. She could see Sharktooth limp away from the medicine den after yet another injury, and she could watch as Bumblepaw and Honeypaw entered camp, separating quickly and heading their own directions.
Maybe it was a bit weird to enjoy watching so much, rather than participating. But Tidefeather didn't particularly care - she'd always been her own cat, and she wasn't about to let the judgements of her peers change that now.

Honeypaw nodded as Saltfrost spoke, just happy that they were willing to work on swimming with her. As hard as her injury had been on her, she knew that Saltfrost had been troubled as well. From what she knew, she was their first apprentice, and an injury like that barely into her apprenticeship was bound to wreck their confidence.
"Agreed! We'll take it slow, start with just the basics again. Thank you, Saltfrost. I wouldn't be able to do this if I didn't have you to help me," she purred, touching their shoulder with her tail. She truly didn't know how she would have recovered if her mentor had been anyone else - Saltfrost let her take things at her own pace, and didn't push her to get back into it when she was scared. Anyone else might have tried taking her swimming again right away, but Saltfrost had agreed to hold off until she felt ready.
It wasn't the first time Honeypaw was thankful for the cat she'd been assigned to, and she was sure it certainly wouldn't be the last.

Lilykit
Lilykit watched as Littlebee put the moss ball away, flicking her tail lightly in anticipation. She wasnβt sure how much longer sheβd be able to distract the expecting queen, but from here, if she glanced back, Lilykit could still see Sweetkit and Toadkit in the nursery. She needed to buy them just a little more time.
Turning her focus back to Littlebee, Lilykit let out a dramatic gasp. βThatβs so soon!β she commented and got up to her feet, padding over to Littlebee. βI wonder what theyβre gonna look like. Sweetkit and Puffinkit look a lot alike and they look like our mama too, but I donβt look much like themβmaybe I take after my father!β Whoever that was. Lilykit wasnβt actually sure who her father was, her mother had never told her. Brineshade spent a lot of time in the nursery, but Lilykit looked even less like him than she did Alderberry, which seemed fair to rule him out.
Besides, that would mean she was related to Breezepaw. And Lilykit refused to accept that.

Rainpetal
βHeading out again, Conchsong?β Rainpetal questioned, a hint of amusement lacing her words as she watched the other molly from her spot near the entrance, with her legs sprawled out and tail twitching curiously behind her. βYou act like youβre an apprentice catching up on chores after getting caught sneaking out of campββ Rainpetal would know. Back in her apprentice days, she had done it allβ¦and unfortunately that did include Brineshade or another warrior occasionally catching her, and when that happened, it wasnβt fun.
But she was a warrior now. Things were different.
Tipping her head to the side, Rainpetal got to her paws and padded over to Conchsong. βYou just got back from the early hunting patrol. Whatever use do you have for leaving again?β Rainpetal paused, a mischievous glint in her eyes. βUnless, perhapsβ¦youβre making yourself sparse here because you have somewhere else youβd rather be.β Rainpetal let out a hum from the back of her throat. βOr more intriguing, perhaps you have someone else waiting for youβ¦β she speculated.
Rainpetal had no reason to assume any of this, and in truth, she didnβt, not really.
It was just really fun messing with her clan mates.

Breezepaw Camp | With Gullspeckle (Sand)
Breezepaw quickly padded after Gullspeckle, casting one last nervous glance behind him at Palmbreeze and Firepaw before turning to his mentor. βYes,β Breezepaw answered and paused, realizing that probably didnβt make much sense. He bent his ears back, coughing nervously. βI mean, itβs kind ofβ¦both,β he admitted and looked down, pawing at the ground. βIβm notβ¦Iβm not really that good yet, at battle training, and I donβt want to make a fool of myself in front of them. What if Palmbreeze laughs at me?β Breezepaw doubted Firepaw would laugh, even if he messed up.
Firepaw wasnβt like that.
But he didnβt know Palmbreeze, and though he couldnβt quite place why, there was something about him that put Breezepaw a little on edge in a similar way that Lilykit did.
Fiddling with his paws, Breezepaw continued. βOr what if I trip and fall on my face and embarrass myselfβand you, I could embarrass you too, and I donβt want to do that. I know one day, Iβm going to be the best warrior in the whole clan, and Iβll have you to thank for that, but until then, weβre in this together, and if I make a fool of myself, then Iβm making a fool of you too, and then weβre both fools, and we could end up being the laughing stock of the whole clan!β Breezepaw squeaked out, eyes wide as he stared up at Gullspeckle.
When he was nervous, he had a tendency to ramble and any filter between his mind and tongue quickly vanished.
Looking back down, Breezepaw fidgeted nervously. βI justβ¦I donβt know if Iβm ready yet,β he mumbled out.

Sharktooth
Sharktooth waited until Rookpaw had joined them, flicking their eats in greeting as they glanced from Rookpaw and then back down at the poor, unsuspecting hermit crab. A low purr of excitement emitting from their chest. βNow, I would be a bad mentor if I didnβt warn you not to paw directly at the crab,β Sharktooth declared matter-of-factly. βBut, I bet the others wouldnβt teach you this.β
With that, Sharktooth got in position, wiggling their rear as they got into position. Quietly, Sharktooth counted to three and then leapt in the air, landing right next to the crab and startling it awake.
Pain radiated up Sharktoothβs leg at the sudden movement and Sharktooth let out an involuntary yelp, quickly covering it up with a chuckle. βAlright, Rookpaw, chase it!β they called out for their apprentice, watching as the hermit crab scurried across the sand. βBut donβt get too close! After all, those things have sharp pinchers!β they added.
From an outside perspective, this whole thing mightβve seemed a little insane, or at the very least, impractical, but Sharktooth liked to think it was their unconventional way of thinking that got them assigned as Rookpawβs mentor and they were eager to prove it.

uwu whats dis? new rp layouts? eeee! SALTFROST - - β
Saltfrost couldn't help the small purr that rumbled in their throat. Seeing Honeypaw determined made their worries almost completely dissipate. The young molly was a lot braver than most apprentices. Something like the traumatic event that occurred for the both of them would typically deter a young apprentice from even going near the water again, but Saltfrost truly admired their apprentice's bravery and determination to try again. Its the reason why they didn't argue. Instead, they gestured with their tail for Honeypaw to follow them towards the camp entrance.
"C'mon then, Honeypaw. I'd rather we get to the shore before the sun sets, slow poke." They teased lightly, slipping out of the camp entrance. The scent of the ocean was constantly strong where the cats lived. The salty scent of the water stung the young warriors nose- a feeling that was all too familiar to Saltfrost. With a purr, they looked back at Honeypaw once again. "Keep up and I'll consider letting you pick the training for the next half a moon." They called over their shoulder.
Quick on their feet, Saltfrost slipped under the undergrowth and pelted towards the shore, quick and agile as they dodged around trees. They had run this path plenty of times, and knew it may be a bit more of a challenge for their apprentice. Saltfrost had faith in Honeypaw, though. They knew she would have no trouble keeping up as they skidded on the, eventually reaching the shore with ease. Saltfrost panted softly and turned to face their apprentice, waiting patiently for her to join them before they spoke again.
"Amazing run. I'll still let you pick the training for the next half-moon even if you lost." The silver ticked tabby meowed, flicking their tail and twitching their whiskers. "Now, swimming." They turned towards the water, letting out a small breath before nodding. "Lets see if you remember what I taught you the first time we were out here." They gestured with their head for Honeypaw to get in the water, allowing her to take her time with getting reaccustomed.
Saltfrost just hoped this was the right thing to do.

Puddleheart
Puddleheart was confident theyβd be fine without an escort. After all, it was just their clanβs territory, and the dawn patrol wouldβve spotted any potential dangers earlierβgranted, he hadnβt spoken to any of them, but he was sure it was fine.
Nodding to Bumblepaw, Puddleheart started out of the camp, leading the way. βAlright, weβre going to be looking for alder bark, willow leaves and burnet,β he listed easily, having already looked over his herbs in the medicine cat den earlier that day to see what they were running low on. βIβd also like to get some rhubarb if we can find it, to carry it all in.β There were other leaves that would work as well, though none that Puddleheart liked quite as much as rhubarb. After all, it was the sturdiest in his opinion, and came with much less risk of breaking.
It was like the rhyme he had made as a young apprentice, to help him remember the herbs and what their uses were.
βRhubarb, rhubarb, big and sturdy; carry herbs in them to never worry about dropping them and making them dirty.β
β¦Okay, so that rhyme in particular was a little long, they werenβt all like that though.
Glancing behind him, Puddleheart offered Bumblepaw a smile. βI donβt think weβve gone over some of those yet, have we?β he questioned with a light tip of his head. Puddleheart did his best to educate Bumblepaw on all the different herbs and their usesβoften sharing his rhymes with the young tom, however, none of the ones they were after today were the βevery dayβ herb he went over first.
βI can tell you what each of them are for while weβre walking, if youβd like,β Puddleheart added. Both alder bark and burnet would be found in the forest, with burnet being the harder of the two to find. However, theyβd have to make their way to the a water source for the willow leaves.
Puddleheart figured it would be best to start with the alder bark, seeing as how that would likely be the easiest to find. βFirst weβll look for alder bark, that shouldnβt be too hard to find. Weβre looking for brownish-gray bark, it should be glossy, and the branches might be a little sticky. Iβll point it out when I see some,β he decided with a quick nod of his head.
Clearing his throat, Puddleheart turned away from Bumblepaw, reciting the rhyme with ease. βAlder bark is never flaky, chew on them to stop our teeth from aching.β Okay, so that one wasnβt a perfect rhyme, but it was close enough and got the point across. Puddleheart considered that a win.

Shellstreak | in territroy | with Bubblewhisker (-` gumi Β΄- .β« πΎ )Calmed down by Bubblewhisker's soothing tone, Shellstreak flattened his fur, which had fluffed up unconsciously before hearing his Clanmate's response. Feeling embarrassed to be so jumpy before a Clanmate, Shellstreak picked up his frog. "Then...I guess I should quickly finish the frog, so that my belly wouldn't rumble and scare all the prey away in the marsh," he mewed, hoping to ease his own status with the sloppy joke. In a few big bites, he hurriedly finished his frog and gave his pelt a lick. "I guess I'm good to go now. I hope we would find a plumper frog!" he mewed a little awkwardly as he led the way towards the marsh. When they finally reached the salty marsh at the east side of the territory, Shellstreak stopped at the edge. From the distance, the marsh looked like a wide piece of land with no prominent landmark, let alone a few trees that managed to grow in the harsh land. Shellstreak pointed his tail to a boulder lying under the shade of one of the nearest trees. "I usually use the trees as my hunting landmarks," he mewed. "And I found the frogs seemed to like the water under that one in particular, probably due to all the rocks scattered around the boulder, so that they have more place to hide. But that's my guess," he added hurriedly, not wanting his innocence to false-lead his Clanmate. "But anyway, I think places around that tree are nice hunting spots." Conchsong | in camp | with Rainpetal (πβππ π£π )Conchsong normally see herself as a calm cat that isn't easily-spooked (although it remains in question whether her Clanmates agree with that), but Rainpetal's words certainly took her by surprised. "What? Of course not!" she mewed, her green eyes widened. Well, maybe there were times when she secretly admired another Clanmate, but that was back in her apprentice days. Now she would rather focus on her task. Since there was nothing else to do, to be frank. But right now she had no intention to speak that out loud.
She turned around, now facing away from the camp entrance, so that she could face her Clanmate when speaking. "It's just that I saw Saltfrost and Marshclaw heading straight to their own duties after the early hunt," she pointed out. "And I thought maybe it would be better if I make myself useful as well." She glanced at her Clanmate. "What are you doing at the entrance, anyway? Are you waiting to meet with Cloudyfur?" she teased, trying to get back at the molly's earlier remarks. The ginger tabby might not have noticed she was possibly crossing the line to be regarded as impolite at this point, considering that she was speaking to an older warrior.

"If looks could kill, I'm sure Seastar's den would be burnt to a crisp by \now."
Eelstrike purred as he padded up beside Marshclaw. His long-time friend: they grew up in the nursery together, trained together, and received their warrior names together. There wasn't a cat he trusted more than the clan deputy.
Though Marshclaw had always been particularly ambitious, greedy even, more than your average warrior, Eelstrike was the complete opposite. More levelheaded, rational, and laidback, sneakier. He picked up where his headstrong companion often lacked, like the mess with Beepelt. The black tom hadn't been happy with the situation, but he helped what he could to cover it up. Yes, he was aware of Marshclaw's ambitions. Morally, it was wrong what they were doing and what they were planning next. The climax of Marshclaw's mission: becoming clan leader. And soon. It had always been their dream, Marshclaw to become clan leader and Eelstrike, his trusty deputy. But the older they got, the more impatient the tabby tom became. Slow and steady was the way Eelstrike would have preferred to reach their goal, tactical. But what was done had already been done. There was no turning back now. That's why phase two had to be executed perfectly.
The burly black cat settled beside the deputy, his amusement fading into solemnity. His yellow gaze flickering around the busy camp, no cat could overhear. The only cats that knew of Marshclaw's ambitions were Puddleshine and himself. "Everything quiet on patrol this morning?"
Waterripple with alderberry Sand
The closenessWaterripple dropped her catch onto the fresh-kill pile, pausing to smooth down her still-damp fur. She'd joined the morning hunt, and StarClan knew how tired the molly felt, exhausted even after the long evening patrol the night before. It was as if Marshclaw was trying to punish everyone the way he kept patrols in rotation. It was like he'd already appointed himself clan leader! The fish-face. She scowled inwardly, glancing over at where the tabby sat huddled close to Eelstrike. That's all they did these days, huddle together in hushed glances. Some part of her wondered what the two toms could be congregating. But, it was none of her business; she would gladly stay far away.
The molly turned away from the two toms, and her gaze fell onto the nursery. I haven't visited Alderberry in a while. The tortoiseshell thought with a frown. It wasn't that she wasn't happy for her sister; she was ecstatic. But the kits, especially that Sweetkit, could be so overwhelming. So Waterripple typically kept her visits short. She loved her nieces and nephew... just from a distance. And preferably if she didn't see them so often. And her poor sister didn't even have a choice; she was trapped with them in the nursery for six moons. Okay, I'm gonna go and visit. Maybe she could use a break.
But as she began towards the nursery, her sister emerged. "Alderberry!" Waterripple exclaimed, trotting the rest of the way. A purr rumbled in her chest as she approached, gently brushing against her sister. "I was just coming to steal you, come. We can go for a walk, it's been ages."

Gullspeckle camp β accompanied by: Breezepaw he/him - warrior Gullspeckle sat in front of Breezepaw, making sure that Palmbreeze and Firepaw couldn't see over his gangly figure. When the apprentice answered with a 'yes,' the warrior wore a puzzled look on his face. He wasn't going to pry into why Firepaw mattered so much right now, but he was curious. He gave a quick nod to show he was listening.
The silver spotted tabby tom's gaze followed Breezepaw's motions, noticing how anxious the fluffy tom was. He couldn't remember feeling so anxious as an apprentice, but every cat was different, right? "I doubt Firepaw is that good at battle training. You're both around the same age, no?" Gullspeckle replied, trying to make eye contact with Breezepaw. He hesitated for a moment, unsure if his choice of words was the best. "As immature as Palmbreeze is, I don't think he would laugh outright at another apprentice. If he does, then Iβll tell Seastar."
Gullspeckle had never found Palmbreeze to be a malicious, rude feline. Despite the golden tabbyβs shortcomings, he seemed to be a fine companion. He felt as if the other warrior didnβt take anything seriously, but Gullspeckle wasnβt one to judge for that. He wasnβt exactly strict though he did have his life together.
As Breezepaw spilled into a long, nervous ramble, the lanky warrior simply listened. He couldnβt help but let out a mrrow of amusement once the fluffy black tom finished squeaking. His green gaze met Breezepawβs before he leaned forward. "Iβd rather be a laughing stock and a fool if that means youβre my apprentice," Gullspeckle meowed, doing his best to assure Breezepaw. "If you fall, I will fall with you. You will be the best warrior in the clan, Breezepaw! It doesnβt matter if Palmbreeze or Firepaw think weβre fools. I can tell you one of them is more foolish than us put together. Just know that Iβve got your back and Iβm gonna turn you into the best warrior ever."
Once the young apprentice looked back down, Gullspeckle tapped Breezepawβs black paws with his tail gingerly. "Look at me. If you donβt want to do it, I will tell Palmbreeze no and we can focus on hunting instead," he told him before continuing on. "Or we can have some fun and try battle training. Who knows, maybe you will find it fun to impress Firepaw!"

Alderberry camp β accompanied by: Waterripple she/her - queen Hearing a familiar voice, Alderberry turned to see her sister, Waterripple, trotting towards her. As if on cue, the queenβs mood immediately lifted. She was shocked yet delighted to see her littermate. Ever since she had her kits, not many of her littermates stopped by to visit. Alderberry missed having continuous visits from her kin and sometimes she wondered if it was because of Palmbreeze. Although he wasnβt involved in the kitsβ lives yet, she tended to overthink that her so-called βmateβ was the problem.
"Waterripple! Itβs so good to see you!" she squealed like a kit while wearing a big, stupid grin. Being around kits was starting to turn her into one. "Steal me? Iβd love to go for a walk. My legs ache just from sitting down all the time."
Alderberry began to purr as she brushed against her sister. She glanced over at the fresh kill pile, curious if her sister had already hunted today. "What have you done today?" she asked, glancing towards Marshclaw and Eelstrike. She then stared at Waterripple. "Donβt tell me you were out with those two. Sometimes I feel like they donβt even leave camp. Maybe they should be in the nursery instead of me."

Rainpetal βI donβt know what youβre implying there, Conchsong,β Rainpetal said pointedly and lifted her chin in the air. βCloudyfur and I are friends and clanmates, thatβs all.β Rainpetal wouldnβt deny that she was fond of the other molly. They had been apprentices together and then later, warriors. Cloudyfur had been there for a lot of Rainpetalβs hijinks, but crossing that bridge from βfriendsβ to something more was not an option. Not the way Rainpetal saw it.
Still, she had to give it up to Conchsong. She could bite back whatever Rainpetal threw at her, which was admirable in itself. Rainpetal wasnβt too big to admit that.
βIf you want to leave camp again though, maybe I could join you,β Rainpetal suggested, looking back at Conchsong. βWe can go for a swim and look for fish while we swap stories on the latest clan drama,β she suggested with a light purr of amusement. Not that there was much drama as of late, at least, none that Rainpetal was aware of. But still, she liked to be informed.

Breezepaw Camp | With Gullspeckle (Sand)
Breezepaw pawed at the ground as he listened to Gullspeckle, his muscles slowly relaxing as his mentor kept talking. Gullspeckle was right, maybe it wouldnβt be too bad to train with Firepaw and Palmbreeze. He was lucky to have such an understanding mentor, Breezepaw wasnβt sure every other cat in the clan would be quite as willing to listen to his rants and put up with them as Gullspeckle.
Well, Brineshade would. But that was different, Brineshade was his father, he had always looked out for him, and even though he appreciate it, he was grateful that Brineshade wasnβt his mentor. Breezepaw loved his father and he could still remember his first night as an apprentice as vividly as when it happened. It was his first night outside of the nursery, and his first night without Brineshade.
Breezepaw was a whole moon older than Firepaw and his siblings, so he didnβt have any of them yet either. Just him, alone in the den, with the older apprentices whom Breezepaw did his best to avoid. In the end, he hadnβt been able to sleep and snuck into the warriorβs den to find his father. Brineshade had kept him company, and even if it was just that first night, it was enough for him to move on with confidence for the nights to come.
However, Breezepaw didnβt want to imagine how the rest of the clan might see it, if his father had been the one to mentor him. They wouldnβt have liked it, and possibly even claimed that Brineshade was going too soft with him.
But Gullspeckle wasnβt like that. He was understanding without coddling him, and Breezepaw was grateful for the mentor he had.
Taking a deep breath, Breezepaw nodded. βOkay,β he agreed, fidgeting nervously. βMaybeβ¦maybe we can give it a try,β he agreed at last and finally looked up at Gullspeckle, meeting his gaze. Eye contact was hard for him, but so long as it wasnβt too long, he could handle it. βLetβs give it a try.β

BUBBLEWHISKER - - β
with shellstreak [ at ] the salty marshes | Briarspirit Bubblewhisker wasn't expecting the tom to scarf the frog down in a few bites. She hadn't been in a rush to go hunt, but she did quite appreciate the eagerness to get down to their little hunt. Whiskers twitching in amusement, she couldn't help the playful purr that left her throat. Standing on her feet once again, Bubblewhisker nodded and started to follow after the tom with interest. "I hope we do, too! I'm really grateful that you agreed to show me where you hunt for frogs. I know it's not easy giving up your best hunting spots to others- so that you can seem special with the amount of prey you catch there." The molly mewed, jumping over a broken log and down into the marshes. She flicked her tail- the mush and mud wasn't her favorite feeling, but she wouldn't complain. After all, she had been the one to ask Shellstreak to show her where he had caught his prey.
The silver ticked tabby took note of the toms words, blue eyes shifting towards the tree that had a bunch of rocks littered by its long, tangled roots. Bubblewhisker nodded slowly and made her way towards the tree, trying to remain quiet despite the squish of mud under paw. She peered between the rocks, eyes brightening up as she spotted a thick, fat frog in the crack. Twitching her ears, Bubblewhisker gestured to Shellstreak that she had found something. Slipping her paws in the crack, claws extended, the young molly quickly caught the frog with ease, dealing the final blow before picking it up in her maw. She turned, tail and head high, looking at Shellstreak with bright eyes. "You were right!" She mumbled around the prey. "Lets try and catch some more, so that you can have something more to eat than the one you had earlier!" Bubblewhisker purred, bouncing towards the tom.

ahhh i love the relationship between marsh and eel already omg?? MARSHCLAW - - β
The sound of Eelstrike's voice caused the large toms head to turn, ear flicking in a silent greeting before his amber gaze turned back to look at the leaders den. A small snort left the deputies nose and he rolled his shoulders slightly. He had revealed his plans to Eelstrike moons ago. There was only an inkling of worry from the large tom that somehow his plans would slip out. But, alas, the ideas stuck between him, his brother and his best friend. Tail flicking, Marshclaw eventually turned his gaze towards the burly black tom once more. "Wouldn't that make everything easer?" The brown tabby grunted, before looking back at the den. Still, no movement from the inside. It made Marshclaw wonder if the white tom would even come out today. It wasn't like him to make jokes about his evil plans, but all cats knew of his friendship with Eelstrike, so no cat would actually question it.
Standing up, the large brown tabby stretched, long claws digging into the earth before he shook out his pelt. "Yeah, quiet. Like usual." Marshclaw eventually uttered a reply. He felt restless- his plans were being delayed. Seastar still had a few lives before the leader would even be gone for good. It frustrated the muscular tom to no end. It was worrying- maybe his plan would fail, after all it was taking way to long. He was eager to get his paws dirty, to put an end to Seastar's reign then and there. He could slip in, kill the tom with some deathberries and call for Puddleheart to declare Seastar dead. But would the berries even take all the remaining lives? No cat would really know for certain unless it was actually tried.
The deputy was too smart to play it risky like that. He would have to run the idea by his friend first, and maybe his brother. If only the rest of the clan understood what I was aiming for. To achieve greatness and make this clan greater than ever. Something Seastar lacks in doing. Marshclaw thought with a lash of his tail. Amber eyes glared at the den for a moment more before he turned to Eelstrike once more. "Why don't you join me on a walk? I don't think sitting here and staring will get either of us further along. I wanted to look for something in the forest, anyways, and I needed help with what I planned with the item I am looking for." Marshclaw meowed, before turning towards the camp entrance. He expected his best friend to follow him, not even offering a glance back.
Marshclaw was going to continue with his idea, and it would work, or he would curse it all to Starclan.

Mantasplash | the shore | with Drifttumble Κα΄α΄ΚΚα΄Κα΄α΄ Β»
The she-cats ears immediately perked up when her fellow Warrior agreed to her little game. She could get... a little intense and competitive, so it wasn't every day someone would just straight up agree to it. Mantasplash guessed she should thank Drifttumble for his more than just a little friendly nature, otherwise he'd probably have just turned her down and went back to whatever he was doing before speaking with her. She considered his question for a moment before nodding.
"Let's see who can catch one the fastest!" the water was a little chilly, considering the time of year, so it was probably better for them to not spend too much time in it "I've been in the water a while so I'm used to it, you better get in so you can get used to it to." Mantasplash shot him a smirk "I don't want you to use that as an excuse when I beat you." she loved competition, but it had to be fair for it to be worth winning!
Rookpaw | the shore | with Sharktooth πβππ π£π
Rookpaw narrowed his eyes at the crab as Sharktooth spoke. He had to agree with their words, though. Most mentors weren't like Sharktooth, and Rookpaw was sure the training he'd get would be unique. This was all confirmed in Rookpaws mind as he watched his mentor leap at the hermit crab and then tell him to... chase it? Rookpaw hadn't been expecting that order, of all things. It took him a split second to register what the other had said "Chase it?!" he repeated, looking between the fleeing crab and his mentor.
Deciding to trust whatever method they had to the madness, Rookpaw jumped into action. He launched himself off the rock he had been perched on and shot after the hermit crab. Its unexpected and hard to read movements made him focus and he was now just realizing how hard it was to chase something on the sand. His paws would sink into the ground, making him slower than usual and his turns no where near as sharp. But all things considered, he was doing pretty good.

Sharktooth
Sharktooth laughed as they watched their apprentice chase after the crab. Under normal circumstances, they'd be running right along with them, but it was almost as much fun to watch.
Curling their tail over their paws, Sharktooth got comfortable on the rock. "Great job, Rookpaw! Feed the sand beneath your paws. It's a lot different from running along the forest floor, isn't it?"Sharktooth called, a purr of bemusement building in their chest.
It was important to learn how to run and fight on the sand in OceanClan, and though there were plenty of different tactics to teach the apprentices how, this one was always Sharktooth's favorite. "Now try to heard the crab back to the water!"

Shellstreak | at the salty marshes | with Bubblewhisker (-` gumi Β΄- .β« πΎ )Bubblewhisker's eagerness infected Shellstreak; he couldn't help but feel a rush of pride when the molly got her catch. "That was a great catch!" he mewed, whiskers twitching with delight. "You're right, maybe we should wait on and try to catch more," he mewed, scanning around for another suitable spot to crouch down. "I think I'll try by that rock there," he mewed to the elder warrior, pointing at a rock a couple of tail-lengths away with his tail. "Oh, and about sharing the hunting spots, I used to think that no other cat had any interest in frogs," he blurted in a sudden. "So I am actually glad to have the chance to share my quirky preferences with a Clanmate. And this really is a good chance to expand different hunting spots, as I usually only hang around this tree," he added, explaining his sudden honesty. "It really is nice to get to hunt with a Clanmate, because now we get to compare if we'd come across different types of frogs at different spots!" The thought excited him and brought light to his eyes. As life was mostly peaceful and calm in OceanClan, the tom really had lots of time to develop his own hobby. His strange, devoted taste for frogs may come as incomprehensible for his Clanmates, though.(I feel I was making this tom quite socially awkward, hope that doesn't contradict too much with any of his original settings I'll try to steer him back on track if there was any contradiction)

Conchsong | in the camp | with Rainpetal (πβππ π£π )
Conchsong twitched her whiskers in amusement at the molly's reaction. "Really? I thought there was something between you guys," she mewed, her green eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Swimming and fishing sounds like a great idea. As for the latest Clan drama thing, I don't think I've heard of anything new," she added a little apologetically, as if that was a big deal. "But maybe we'd discover something on the way by observing or so?" The molly brightened with the thought of having something new to gossip about. As currently there wasn't much to worry about in the young warrior's mind, the thought of new chatting topics was more than welcomed.
