Rookpaw | camp | with Sharktooth πβππ π£π
Rookpaw brightened up a little. He'd been expecting their injured paw to keep them in the camp for at least a day or two, so hearing that it was 'as good as new' was a pleasant surprise "I think that's a good idea." he nodded, trying not to look too excited. Rookpaw may be quiet, but he was just as eager as any apprentice to learn and train. A part of him was still worried about the others paw, but they said they were fine, why should he doubt them?
Besides, training of any kind was better than getting stuck cleaning out the elders den or sitting around camp without anything to do. Rookpaw shifted on his paws, glancing to the camp entrance before asking "Where are we going to train?" the apprentice hadn't seen Marshclaw yet today, if they went training he would choose someone else for patrols.
Puffinkit | nursery | with Lilykit πβππ π£π
Puffinkit snickered at the way her sister immediately went to groom her fur. Personally she thought it was a waste as long as it was only a little dust and only a few leaves. Though, her long fluffy fur was just a little too much upkeep for her and that probably led to her flippancy. She flopped onto her side in a far more dramatic manner than strictly necessary "I wish we could go out to! I mean, we'd probably get lost, but that's just part of the adventure!"
Stories of adventures and battles were Puffinkits favorite thing. She often spent time in the elders den chatting their ears off and begging to hear stories of their younger days. Willowfur had kicked her out of the elders den in the most gentle way possible more than once "I can't wait to become an apprentice!" being an apprentice wasn't all exploring and fun, but Puffinkit was actively choosing to ignore the less fun parts.

MARSHCLAW accompanied by: Saltfrost ; no cat in particular || in camp tag: ..
The camp was slowly bustling to life as the cats emerged from their dens and returned from patrols. Marshclaw was one of those cats- carrying a thick squirrel and a feathery shrew into the middle of camp. He had gone out with Saltfrost and Conchsong, who in turn were both carrying a few pieces of prey themselves. He flicked his tail in a thanks to the younger warriors, dismissing them from their hunting duty before turning his attention to the leaders den.
Amber eyes narrowed slightly as he slowly trotted towards the den, ears twitching in interest. Marshclaw's mind was filled with his plans and thoughts- one's he had only mentioned once to his brother. He paused, though. Slowly lowering himself into a sit, his fluffy tail curled around his paws as he continued to hold his gaze on the den. Seastar was most likely still in his nest. The leader didn't do much, seeing as Marshclaw was deputy. He was the one leading the clan. At least, in his own mind he was. The brown tabby flicked his tail. There was only so much he could keep locked up in his mind. However, he would undoubtedly keep those thoughts under lock and key.
At least, until he was ready to put his plan in motion. Until then, he would continue to 'lead' and be in charge where needed while Seastar napped away in his den or did Starclan knows what.
βοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉ Saltfrost slipped in after Marshclaw, mumbled around their caught prey about the successful hunting trip. While it had been short, the young warrior was still rather happy with his own catches. Dropping a shrew and two mice on the fresh-kill pile- that was growing, but could still do for some more food, in Saltfrost's humble opinion- the young feline nodded at Conchsong and Marshclaw as they were released from the hunting duty before turning and glancing around slowly.
Icy blue eyes landed on the two pale ginger apprentices that entered camp, one of them being their own apprentice. They had to note that it wasn't really like them to not take Honeypaw out for hunting, but the deputy had seemed to be in a hurry and didn't want to be out long. They really didn't understand Marshclaw- he was always quiet and rather intimidating. Saltfrost tended to avoid the tom at all costs- but it didn't help that the very tom they wanted to avoid was the one to assign them patrols. With a snort, the feline shook their head and trotted towards the pale ginger tabby apprentice.
"Good morning, Honeypaw. I see you were busy with Bumblepaw out in the hollow." Saltfrost mewed, flicking his tail towards the medicine cat apprentice that had gone to join his own mentor. A part of the feline wished they were able to casually go on a walk with their own sibling, or play tussle with them, but Saltfrost knew better than to fool around. Perhaps thats why many other warriors thought Saltfrost was a bit... too serious? They didn't really know.
Turning their attention back to Honeypaw, they spoke again. "Anyways, I think we'll switch things up today, and do something you would like to do. So long as it isn't... too advanced." They chuckled ever so slightly. They'd show the other warriors that they weren't uptight or... whatever else they called them.
βοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉ Lazily climbing out of his nest, Firepaw yawned and stretched himself out. He had gone out on the moonhigh patrol that night, and was offered a chance to sleep in by his mentor. Geeze was he thankful for it too. It meant getting to snuggle up to Breezepaw and- Wait. Where was Breezepaw? The ginger and white tabby tom blinked towards the empty nest, ear twitching in concern before reminding himself the fluffy black apprentice was probably doing something for his mentor. Hopefully.
Firepaw slowly slipped out of the apprentice den only to spot the black tom with the one and only Lilykit. The young tom slowly approached them, stopping near enough to at least listen in on the conversation. He purred in amusement- seeing the one other cat he enjoyed spending any and all time with talking with Lilykit in such a way had his heart flipping. It truly was amusing- the interaction.
Once the conversation between the two ended, Firepaw jumped to his paws again, tail flicking high and happily in the air as he bounced towards the fluffy black apprentice. The ginger and white tabby playfully bumped his head against Breezepaw's shoulder with a purr. "You know, she looks up to you. I'm sure having you to talk to is a bright part of her day, seeing as she isn't allowed to leave camp just yet." The apprentice mewed softly, amusement glittering in his green eyes. He watched the kit disappear into the nursery before looking back at Breezepaw. "I was thinking... If our mentors allow it- after we do our chores- we could go hunting together!" Firepaw quipped. It felt like moons since the pair were able to do something together, and something simple like a hunt seemed realtively laid back and would allow the two time to enjoy each others company. They would just need the okay from Gullspeckle and Palmbreeze.
βοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉοΉ Sweetkit, while being a devious little ball of fluff that always loves to get into all sorts of trouble, had taken to sleeping in that more. That was, until the sounds of her siblings voices woke her. She rolled onto her side, blinking the sleep out of her amber eyes and stretching her paws against her assumedly sleeping mothers belly before jumping up to her paws. She twitched her ears and looked over the nest of moss, eyeing her two sisters from where she was previously laying by their brother and mother.
The dilute tortoiseshell molly jumped out of the nest and quickly made her way towards the two- head tilted in curiosity. Lilykit was mentioning something about exploring, which immediately seemed to peak Sweetkit's interest. So, in turn, the molly butt her way into the conversation in a slightly loud voice- having no concern for the sleeping queens or their brother in the nursery. Besides, she was sure Toadkit would back her decision. After all, the two were always causing some sort of trouble, with aid from Puffinkit and occasionally their sassy little sister, Lilykit.
"I think we should sneak out! I'm sure Toadkit would be all for it as well, once we wake him up!" The kit purred, bouncing on her toes ever so slightly. "We can just explore by ourselves!" She carried on with her idea, loud and proud. Sweetkit's gaze shifted between Puffinkit and Lilykit.Surely they would be just as eager as Sweetkit, right? If anything went wrong, perhaps they could ask an apprentice to go with them. Maybe Breezepaw? Lilykit seemed to enjoy bothering the fluffy black tom, and he seemed to enjoy their conversations too. Right? Oh boy, she really couldn't wait to slip out. What could possibly go wrong?

Littlebee In nursery She sighed as the kits chatted like sparrows. These kits were a handful of trouble. Even though they weren't hers she was still protective of them. "I hope you weren't causing much trouble lillykit " she knew the little kit had a habit of doing just that. She glanced at alderberry who looked exhausted. "If you want I can keep an eye on the kits while you have a quick sleep?"

Sharktooth
Sharktooth let out a small puff of relief as they noticed Rookpawβs excitement. He seemed eager to go out and do some training, and Sharktooth planned on delivering. Their paw could just deal with it. βAlright, I was thinking weβd head to the shore, thereβs something I want to show you there, something I used to do all the time when I was an apprentice,β they explained and gestured with a flick of their tail for Rookpaw to follow as they started toward the exit.
There were plenty of places to train, however, with the way Sharktoothβs paw still ached when they pressed down on it, it seemed like a better idea to focus on something a little softer than the forest floor. Besides, Sharktooth always found the shore so pretty in the morning, with the endless ocean of water stretching out as far as the eye could see and the sun lifting higher into the air.
It would be a good place to start.

Breezepaw
Breezepaw felt a purr rumble in his chest as Firepaw greeted him, and he instinctively leaned into the touch. It was too short of a moment and Breezepaw felt himself shift a little closer to the other apprentice, almost close enough to lean against him.
Then, Firepaw mentioned Lilykit and Breezepaw wrinkled his nose, huffing as his ears bent back. βShe has a funny way of showing it,β he commented and shot a glance at the nursery. He doubted Lilykit looked up to him. After all, Breezepaw didnβt look up to himself either, he wouldnβt expect anyone else to. Besides, all she did was mock him.
Shaking his head, Breezepaw turned back to Firepaw, his eyes lighting up at Firepawβs suggestion. It had been awhile since he had gotten to spend some time with Firepaw, beyond group activities for the apprentices. This was different and Breezepawβs tail flicked in excitement as his paws twitched with the urge to knead the ground again.
He ignored the urge, forcing his paws to stay still as he looked at Firepaw. βThat sounds great,β he agreed. βIβd love to.β

Lilykit
Lilykit acknowledged Sweetkit with a flick of her tail, flinching slightly at her sisterβs loud voice. While sneaking out sounded fun, the entire plan was moot if they couldnβt even slip out of the nursery unnoticed. βWell, we canβt sneak out if everyone from here to the elderβs den knows the plan,β she commented, sending Sweetkit a pointed look. βBut, I think you might be onto something there. What do you think, Puffinkit?β Lilykit asked, turning her attention to her other sister.
However, thatβs when she noticed the expecting queen rousing from her nest and Lilykit quickly looked to Littlebee, gasping in offense as the queen asked her if she had gotten into any trouble recently. βMe? Getting into trouble?β Lilykit questioned dramatically, batting her eyes at Littlebee. βThat doesnβt sound like me at all.β To further sell her point, Lilykit tipped her head to the side and purred softly, curling her tail over her paws as she stared up at the queen.

Gullspeckle camp β accompanied by: Breezepaw & Firepaw he/him - warrior Gullspeckle was a bit nervous on the inside. Breezepaw was his first apprentice that he had ever had and he wondered, if he were late to training, would he be in trouble? Or would it be blamed on his apprentice? To be fair, it was his fault for ignoring his duties. He just wanted a moment to himself and that moment turned into minutes... too many minutes.
He exited the warriors' den, licking his chest in embarrassment. The grey speckled tabby's gazed around the camp, looking for Breezepaw. Surely he couldn't miss the fluffy black tom. He stuck out to Gullspeckle for some reason, although it could just be Breezepaw's appearance. Suddenly, he realized that his apprentice was with Firepaw. The two seemed to get along well which meant Gullspeckle was content as can be. The warrior padded over to the two apprentices, dipping his head quickly as a greeting.
"Breezepaw, Firepaw!" the speckled tom mewed with more excitement than necessary. "Sorry that I wasn't out here before you, I kinda lost track of time. Before I knew it, all of the warriors were out of the warriors' den!"
How humiliating, Gullspeckle thought to himself, licking his chest fur once more. "Anyways. What are you two up to? I was hoping to take you out to train," he meowed, looking from Breezepaw to Firepaw and back to Breezepaw again. The warrior suddenly came to a realization, one that was quite important. "Oh, but wait! Firepaw, where's Palmbreeze? I don't think I have seen him."

Alderberry the nursery -> camp clearing β accompanied by: open! she/her - queen Alderberry sat inside her nest her amber eyes closing and opening. She had been stuck in the nursery for a few moons now which she didn't mind. Except it was starting to get old and she wanted out. Luckily, Littlebee was helpful when it came to her being able to get some rest. She had watched Puffinkit, Sweetkit, Lilykit, and Toadkit in the past, so she hoped the other queen knew their habits by now. She could hear the mewls of her kits chatting amongst themselves and Littlebee speaking to her.
"That would be nice actually," the dilute calico queen meowed to Littlebee. "But I think I want to get out of the nursery. I can sleep later. I do owe you though, Littlebee. Once your litter comes, I'll do my share of watching."
Alderberry glanced at her kits, four who were so busy chatting that they wouldn't notice her taking her leave. Toadkit, meanwhile, was sleeping. "Sweetkit, Puffinkit, Lilykit, and Toadkit. Please behave while I'm gone, okay? Don't give Littlebee a hard time," she told the kits, her ginger and grey tail flicking behind her.
The dilute calico's gaze lingered on the nursery's exit. Despite being tired, she would prefer to lounge about in camp or spend some time alone. She certainly wouldn't leave camp yet, but for now, maybe a walk around the clearing would do her some good. "Alright, I'm going now!" she meowed to the cats in the nursery before padding away.
Once Alderberry was in the camp clearing, she could feel the buzz from all of the commotion. Apprentices with their mentors, cats leaving or coming into camp... it just felt different and it was completely inexplainable. Finally. Some alone time, she thought, letting out a sigh of relief.

Rookpaw | camp | with Sharktooth πβππ π£π
Rookpaw nodded, following after his mentor and matching pace with them "Something you use to do?" he questioned, curious what it could be. The ocean was nice, Rookpaw enjoyed water as much as the next Oceanclan cat. He wondered if it had something to do with the dunes, or perhaps in the ocean itself. Rookpaw had yet to visit the dunes, most cats avoiding them due to them being hard to walk on. Though a part of him admitted it would be humorous for him to end up twisting a paw as well and having to return to camp with the both of them limping. Puddleheart would tear out their fur.
The hustle and bustle of the camp was left behind as the entered the forest and headed down the path that would lead them to the shoreline. Rookpaw took a breath of fresh air, appreciating the quiet. It wasn't as if he dislike the rest of his clanmates, he just enjoyed the quiet more. It made him come across as cold to some, but he was also the type to not notice when others were shooting him looks or muttering about his shortness behind his back so ultimately there was no harm no foul.
Puffinkit | nursery | with Lilykit, Sweetkit, & Littlebee πβππ π£π -` gumi Β΄- .β« πΎ aquatail
Things were starting to get interesting! Sure, they'd talked about exploring outside of camp before, what kit didn't? But now they were talking about it like it was a one deal. Puffinkit was excited "I think it's a fun idea! We should do it!" saying it was a 'good' idea would be wrong, so she went with the far more true word to describe their plan. She opened her mouth to speak again when Littlebee spoke up, which had her closer her jaws quickly with a quiet snap.
"Yeah! Lilykit is the best behaved out of us all." she blatantly lied, pressing up against her sister and giving the queen the cutest look she could muster. Looking at the two of them you could almost believe it if you didn't know them personally. Puffinkit was an energetic puffball with messy fur and a leaf on the top of her head while Lilypaw looked far more prim and proper. Then when Alderberry spoke up she happily agreed, knowing darn well the four of them were going to get in trouble for sure. It was in their nature, could you really deny them some harmless fun?

Bumblepaw twitched an ear at Puddleheart's question, grinning crookedly. He didn't often wake up before his mentor, so it was always exciting when he was the first to leave the den.
"Honeypaw asked me to come train with her - she wanted to practice some of her fighting moves, and show me the ones she thought were the most impressive. She spent more time falling over than anything," he replied, tail tip flicking. Honeypaw was going to be a great warrior, once she was able to overcome her clumsiness. That had started after her injury, but was getting better and better as time went by.
"And here I thought our biggest threat would be foxes or dogs." He punctuated his joke with a chuckle and a roll of his eyes.

Drifttumble grew quiet as Mantasplash came into view, watching for a moment as she looked for more fish. With a nod, mostly to himself, he started down the shoreline towards her.
"Mantasplash, hey! How goes the fishing?" he called as he got nearer. It looked to be going well, as she had a couple of fish near her, but he figured it was polite to ask. "Are they so marvelled by your beauty that they're jumping from the water, begging to be caught?" he purred with a crooked grin, blue-green eyes twinkling.
Well, hey, he made it about thirty seconds before saying something flirty this time. That was a new record!

Honeypaw grinned and meowed a 'good morning' back to Saltfrost, flicking one paw to get the last of the sand off. Listening intently to her mentor, she thought for a moment before responding.
"Could we-" she hesitated and looked around, making sure no cats were near enough to hear her, "could we work on swimming? It's been a while and I think... I think I'm ready to try again." She could still feel the cold of the water as she thought back to her last experience.
She hadn't been into her apprenticeship for long when it happened. Saltfrost had taken her to practice swimming, and she'd gotten caught in a particularly bad current and was thrown into the rocks below. She didn't remember much else beyond waking up in the medicine den two days later. It was Bumblepaw who told her Saltfrost had sat with her the entire first day, only allowing Puddleheart and Bumblepaw near. Honeypaw had been terrified of the water since, always finding excuses to avoid going for swims with the other apprentices. Perhaps today she could brave the water once again.

Tidefeather sat quietly outside the warriors den, watching her clanmates pad to and fro. The lithe silver tabby had always enjoyed observing the others as they went about their days, completing duties and performing small tasks. It was fun, in its own way. She could see Sharktooth limp away from the medicine den after yet another injury, and she could watch as Bumblepaw and Honeypaw entered camp, separating quickly and heading their own directions.
Maybe it was a bit weird to enjoy watching so much, rather than participating. But Tidefeather didn't particularly care - she'd always been her own cat, and she wasn't about to let the judgements of her peers change that now.

Breezepaw
Breezepaw perked his ears at the sound of his mentor calling for him and quickly snapped his attention back to the warrior's den, watching Gullspeckle make his way over to them. At the sight of his mentor, Breezepaw bowed his head in a respectful greeting.
"Morning, Gullspeckle," he said, flicking his tail, stiffening his muscles, already more alert as he faced his mentor. Then he paused and glanced toward Firepaw before looking back to Gullspeckle.
"We weren't doing anything," he promised quickly and made a conscious effort to scoot a little further away from Firepaw, just in case Gullspeckle noticed. "We were going to ask if we could go hunting later though, after..after training of course," Breezepaw explained and tipped his head to the side as he stared up at Gullspeckle. "What sort of training were you thinking?"

Sharktooth Sharktooth nodded, humming under their breath as they padded softly through the forest, guiding Rookpaw toward the shore. "I haven't gone out to do this in awhile, not since I became a warrior," they admitted and let out a soft, almost bittersweet sigh as the forest faded away into the the sands that lead to the beach. You get to be a warrior and you're too bust with your duties for things like this. It'll be good to visit the shore again."
Sharktooth let out a noise of approval as they neared the shore. During the walk to the shore, they had been careful not to put too much pressure on their paw and could only hope Rookpaw didn't notice. However, even the walk from the camp to the shore had been enough to send throbbing pain down Sharktooth's leg.
They did their best not to show it as they turned to face their apprentice, a look of excitement in their eyes. "How much do you know about hermit crabs?"

Lilykit
Lilykit bent her ears back in annoyance as she watched Littlebee. They'd have a hard time escaping with the queen there to keep an eye on them. If Lilykit and her sisters wanted to explore, they'd need to be smart about this. Clever. Sneaky even.
Tipping her head to the side, Lilykit studied Littlebee for a few more moments before turning to her sisters, lowering her voice so only they could hear. "I'll distract Littlebee, you two head outside. Meet me by the Medicine Cat den, near the spot where we like to go climbing," she requested and turned back to Littlebee, jumping into conversation as she walked up to the expecting queen, hoping her sisters used this as a chance to sneak out.
"Littlebee, can I ask you something?" Lilykit asked, sitting down in front of the queen as she stared up at her with wide eyes. "It's really important."

Puddleheart
Puddleheart laughed in agreement at Bumblepaw's assessment. "Let's hope that the foxes and dogs don't find out about their competition,"he joked and flicked his ears as he glanced across the camp to look for Bumblepaw's sister.
He had some concerns for the young cat. She seemed to be of the more accident prone type, and that in itself was worrying. There were other warriors in the clan who could be considered clumsy or accident prone as well, however if it got much worse, Puddleheart may have to watch one of her training sessions, just to makes sure there wasn't a greater cause for concern.
"Well, no matter," Puddleheart decided and turned his focus back to Bumblepaw. "We're running low on some herbs, so I was thinking we could head out for a bit today to find them,"he suggested.
Puddleheart paused to cast a glance to his brother, watching Marshclaw closely. Part of him wanted to ask the deputy for a warrior escort, just in case they ran into trouble. Yet another part wasn't sure how to approach his brother anymore. In a way, he felt so far apart from him now versus when they were younger.
Shaking his head, Puddleheart looked back to Bumblepaw and offered him a light smile. I'm ready whenever you are," he decided, choosing to skip out on the potential for a warrior escort. They may be medicine cats, but Puddleheart liked to think they were far from helpless.
They'd be fine on their own.

Mantasplash | the shore | with Drifttumble Κα΄α΄ΚΚα΄Κα΄α΄ Β»
Mantasplash laughed, swimming closer until she could feel the sand beneath her paws. She walked out of the water, flicking her soaked tail at the other warrior "Don't you get embarrassed saying things like that?" Drifttumble wasn't a bad cat, he was actually fun to talk to or patrol with when he wasn't flirting relentlessly with anyone in earshot. And that was a rare sight, she wasn't sure he'd ever actually gone that long without some flirty remark or comment. She'd heard a rumor that he would die if he had to go a day without flirting.
"But I have to admit, it would be faster if they would." she shook our her fur, not caring much if the spray hit the other warrior. He was at the shoreline, it was only expected that you'd get wet! She tilted her head a little and asked "What are you doing here? Looking to do a little fishing yourself? The water is nice, I recommend doing some fishing if you are. We could even go so far as to make it a competition."
Mantasplash was easily convinced of most things if you gamified it.
Rookpaw | oceanclan territory | with Sharktooth πβππ π£π
Rookpaw nodded, listening to them speak without much comment. It made sense that you lost a lot of your free time as a Warrior, though thankfully for him he thought he'd adapt to that pretty easily. Rookpaw wasn't the type to laze about or sit around chatting. He glanced over as they could finally see the ocean. The waves were gentle and the water looked clear, it would be a good day for swimming, if that's what was planned.
When Sharktooth spoke again he shook his head "Not much... I've heard they're more active during the night, so I've not interacted with any." it was generally warned against for apprentices to be wandering around the territory, and especially the ocean, during the night. He was a good swimmer, but definitely not good enough to get out of a dangerous situation in the dark.

Palmbreeze (with Gullspeckle, Firepaw, and Breezepaw)
"Here, here!" A call came from the other side of the camp, followed by the leggy golden tom that it belonged to. Palmbreeze was a graceful looking tom, slender and lean, and he coasted his way towards the party of warriors and apprentices. The only hitch in the young tom's movements came when he registered Alderberry making her way out of the nursery.
With a slightly strained look, the new warrior circled along the edge of camp, keeping up his easy pace as if he didn't just go out of his way to avoid her.
When he reached the other warrior with the apprentices, he gave his chest a quick, awkward lick to flatten his tawny fur. "I had to go check on a thing, you thinking of having Firepaw and Breezepaw train together?" His amber eyes studied his apprentice and the fluffy black tom for a second, his mind whirling for a solution.
Like Gullspeckle, Palmbreeze was new to being a mentor. Firepaw was his first, and he refused to fail the young ginger tom. He had to show that he was a capable warrior and mentor, and the bright young tom was a good way to do that.
"How do you feel about working on your battle moves, Firepaw?" He questioned the younger cat, tipping his head to the side with a question on his face.

Littlebee lillykit ( πβππ π£π) She saw the small kit approach her and she listened "very important huh?" She said suspiciously she knew that the kit was up to something she wasn't sure what though. "Sure go ahead" she said slowly.

Gullspeckle camp β accompanied by: Palmbreeze, Breezepaw & Firepaw he/him - warrior Gullspeckle glanced at Breezepaw, wondering why he had gone so rigid within the moments of him arriving. Was he doing something wrong that made his apprentice feel awkward or worse? He didn't realize he was that harsh of a mentor. Maybe Brineshade had taught his kit to act serious and stern when training. He shrugged, his ears twitching as Breezepaw spoke. He began to speak, "Well, if you said hunting, we--."
The presence of Palmbreeze was clearly felt before Gullspeckle could finish asking his apprentice a question. There was something about the warrior that made Gullspeckle feel less approachable. "Oh, Palmbreeze. Nice to see you!" he meowed, nodding in greeting to the tom. If the speckled tabby believed Coconutfur's gossip, which obviously he didn't, Palmbreeze was a good-for-nothing father to Alderberry's litter. A thing? That's... totally believable, he thought, watching the golden tom like a hawk.
"Yeah, I think it would be a good idea for them to train together. The more the merrier, right?" he meowed in response to Palmbreeze.
Gullspeckle knew very well that the golden tom was new at training too. Maybe they could become friends over this? He wasn't so sure if Palmbreeze would want that considering all of his drama. "Well, Breezepaw just mentioned to me that he and Firepaw wanted to go hunting after training," he mewed, deciding to bring up the black furred tom's idea. "Maybe we can do a bit of both?"

Firepaw open his maw to respond to Breezepaw before Gullspeckle approached. He offered the warrior a smile and slowly sat down by the other apprentice, allowing Breezepaw to explain the original idea of the hunting party. He truly just wanted to spend time with the other tom- he didn't particularly see anything wrong with it. He was going to chime in again until Palmbreeze approached next.
It startled Firepaw a little, causing the ginger and white tabby tom to jump to his paws once more. Upon realizing it was just his mentor, Palmbreeze, the young apprentice licked his chest fur flat before looking up at the tawny warrior.
"Good morning, Palmbreeze! We were just talking with Gullspeckle about doing some hunting together." He added onto Gullspeckle's words, tail flicking eagerly from side to side before bouncing on his toes, nudging Breezepaw a little. It was until Palmbreeze mentioned fighting practice. He hesitated before nodding.
Firepaw had to admit that he needed to practice. His lack of confidence tended to leave his moves sloppy and slow. When Gullspeckle mentioned doing both, the tom's ears perked up. If the fighting turned out to be rough, then he could always show off in his hunting skills- which were, in his opinion, far better than his fighting skills. Turning his attention to Palmbreeze again, he lifted his head high, offering at least some sort of confidence. "Can we do both? Please, Palmbreeze? I'm sure I'll be able to get the move we were working on yesterday down if Breezepaw's with us. And I can always catch something big after!" Firepaw bounced on his toes ever so slightly, hoping his mentor would agree to the idea of the four of them training together.
