Larkbounce gave her a small smile. "Do you want some help getting the dust out of your fur?" He asked, taking a step toward the she-cat. Tigersong nodded. “Oh, that’d be nice, thank you,” she answered, shifting over to make room for him next to her. “I hate having white fur, it’s so hard to keep clean.” She grumbled, twisting to try and lick at her shoulder. Larkbouce nodded, shuffling closer and starting to groom the harder to reach spots on her pelt. "Hey, I can understand that. My pelt isn't as white as yours, but my underbelly can be a hassle to clean after a long day. Sometimes it gets so dirty it matches the brown of my main pelt!"

Tigersong gave her chest a few licks, cringing at the taste of dirt on her tongue, and then went to work on her paws. She let out a small laugh at his statement. “Lucky you have a brown pelt so it looks normal,” she joked. After another moment she sighed and dropped the paw she was working on back in the dirt. “I just want to get out of camp.” She sounded almost like a kit, whining because she wasn’t an apprentice yet.

Fallowmeadow herded her kits out of the den, shooing them off gently to go play as she settled near the entrance of the nursery. Milkkit giggled as she hurtled through a few scattered leaves, shrieking with delight as they crunched beneath her paws. Goldheart awoke not far from Fireblaze, not making eye contact with his sister as they made their way from their nests, similar wounds also adorning his pelt. He fluffed out his golden fur, hoping it would hide his injuries well enough. Eclipsesky exited the tunnels with a yawn, shaking the dirt out of his pelt. He was becoming more and more comfortable in the dark cool of the tunnels, finding peace down there despite all the recent trauma related to the tunnels. “Yeah, well, I would have had two blackbirds if you had just taken the bend around the boulder like I told you!” Furyflame snapped at a clearly less than receptive Cinderscar, who had to carry back the prey they caught as punishment for his poor choice in not doing exactly what the younger Warrior had said. He dropped the blackbird on the pile and quickly mewed. “Sorry. Have to go check on Soulspirit and the kits.” “Your kits are apprentices now, you big rabbit-brained bird wing!” Furyflame shouted after the fleeing tom as she gave a long groan of frustration. Stewing with her cooling anger, she stormed right past Goldheart and Fireblaze with a slew of curses.

His tone didn't waver, and if he was scared at the prospect of entering the tunnels, he didn't show it.

And I wouldn’t mind just a run along the moors, since you’ll be with me. I just get nervous walking the moors alone.” She said, her tone lighter now. “Vixenfrost might catch you a hefty rabbit for going out with me,” she laughed. “He hates when I go off alone.”

Falconpaw swayed as Violetpaw collided with her, a heavy weight on her shoulders. She quickly rolled, hoping to dislodge Violetpaw in the sudden movement. Violetpaw scrambled to keep hold on Falconpaw's back. Her paws were larger than those of a Moor-Running apprentice, so holding on was a bit easier for her. Even so, she grit her teeth. Falconpaw had alot of strength in her roll, and she wheezed as she was planted into the ground. Unable to hold on, she had to let go. Rolling away, she spat out some dust from her muzzle and pouted. "Oof. You're really good at this!"

Furyflame snorted fiercely as her attention was drawn to the tom's quiet snicker. She rolled her eyes sharply. "My hunt was ruined by yet another stone-pawed tom. You'd think Cinderscar would start appreciating tunnels more seeing as he's got enough rocks in his head to fill one up. Aghh!" She growled, before suddenly taking in a long inhale, and slowly exhaling. "Hmph. I'll just go out again later. And what exactly are you two slow-risers doing? Just woken up? Pshh, did you get your beauty sleep?" She crooned sarcastically, not noticing their scratches but certainly noticing how late they came out of the den.

Wheatkit sat very still beside Fallowmeadow, his wide green eyes watching Milkkit and Rabbitkit roll around in the dirt together.
Palegaze squinted at the camp from the shadow of the camp wall.

She slowed to walk next to Larkbounce. “I already feel better.”

You're feeling up to it? I guess I can see if you've got a little less rocks between your ears, if you think you can keep up with me." She flicked her long tail with a swish, before she looked at Fireblaze. "You mind if I borrow this rabbit-runner, or would you like to come with us? I don't mind double the stakes." She invited.

Violetpaw perked up at her mentor's suggestion, thankful that she had done well enough to recieve her mentor's approval. She was interested greatly in the prospect of learning a duo technique. Looking at Falconpaw, she purred. "That sounds perfect. I think I'm happier battling with Falconpaw more than I am against Falconpaw."
"Ohhh, so he does have some fire in him then." Furyflame drawled, before she gave a toothy grin, amber eyes gleaming like embers. "I'll never let you hear the end of it if I run right past you, you know. So, be ready." She stretched her legs, her anger tossed to the side as she finally felt a hint of satisfaction. She wanted to beat him in running almost more than she wanted to find another blackbird to hunt.

Slushfur shook her head. Between prey-maulers and wind vortexes, now was not the time for WindClan to be facing another new threat. "Don't say that. If this is serious enough, we can tell Swiftstar. He'll believe me, and if he doesn't at first, I know Blacktail could convince him." she said. "A threat to Highstones is especially dangerous. Our connection to StarClan is too important to be at risk. So, if it's bigger than a cat... could it have been a Prey Mauler?" she asked, hoping it wasn't true. Cobblepaw seemed a bit stiff at that, looking unsure as he implored. “But… but that can’t be. Cedarstar said they were in Shadowclan at the gathering. If the prey-maulers showed up near Highstones, then they would have had to cross into Windclan at least once? How could we have not noticed it by now?” He did bristle a bit, ears falling. “What if I wad imagining it and nothing shows up?” Slushfur hummed, resting her tail on her son's shoulder. "It's possible that we missed one - or multiple - and the wind blew their scent away. We can't always keep our eyes on our borders." she reasoned calmly. "I fully believe that you saw something, Cobblepaw. And maybe what Cedarstar saw in ShadowClan is the same group that's near Highstones now. It would be helpful to track them." she mewed. "I think Swiftstar should know about this..."

"Thanks for believing me. I just didn't want to say anything and have it cause a bunch of worry. I'll see if Swiftstar or Sagefoot are nearby and tell them."

Cobblepaw seemed to digest his mother’s words, looking at her for a long moment. He really was the luckiest cat in the Clan, to have parents who never once pressured him to choose. If anything, it was their openness to accept that made him stronger, kinder, more open to trying new things. The mottled tom gave a knowing look, voice soft as he mewed. “Ma? If… anything does happen to me. If anyone says anything, or tries anything. I don’t want you getting caught in the middle. Even if all of the Clan hated me, I would still give my all to keep everyone safe. I want to get them to see that it doesn’t have to be one way or the other. But to do that, I can’t let the hard parts bring me down, right?” He lifted his chin, bold and determined. “So. I won’t let it.” He smiled then. “You’re the best mother I could have ever asked for.”

The other clans thought they were weak because they had less prey, but Larkbounce thought they were strong. A strong clan, when we're united. "Did you have anywhere in mind you wanted to go?"

Though Tigersong was relieved to be out of camp and more confident with another warrior with her, a moor-runner who was far more familiar with the open moors than she was, the anxiety was starting to creep in already. Her paws prickled every few steps and she kept glancing around her, nervous. It felt wrong being out in the open. She felt bare and she longed for the security of the tunnels. However, she had promised Larkbounce she wouldn't make him go in the tunnels. She started at his voice and then ruffled her fur, embarrassed for being so easily startled. "Maybe Outlook Rock," she suggested. "I know it's pretty close to the border, but I do enjoy going there sometimes, when I'm feeling brave." she joked.
