{ sorry it took me so long to get this up! my cat got neutered late last week and was being a terror. but he is behaving much better now so hopefully the replies should be faster. hahaha
is there anything you wanna happen plot-wise while they're out in the forest? :3 }CheetoThe Forest // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto nodded thoughtfully, if not a little distantly, at Frazzle’s explanation at the forest. He had little-to-no real world knowledge of these things, so they mostly appeared in his brain as shadowy figures dancing around the edges of his imagination, but something in him…stirred. It sounded exciting. Cheeto had always been a rather independent cat, and he knew this bothered his Twolegs sometimes. The amount of times they would pick him up and set him on their laps just for him to jump off, causing the whole process to repeat again until they finally gave up, revealed this to him. He looked forward to the idea that in just a short season or two, he could have a place to just, well…be a cat.
He felt a twinge of jealousy as Frazzle jumped off the fence before him. He had wanted to be an intrepid explorer, crossing into new territory first. Although it wasn’t new to Frazzle. But in Cheeto’s mind, that was irrelevant. He frowned and shook the jealousy from him. There were plenty more opportunities to explore. He followed Frazzle down, landing clumsily on his side, deep in a snow drift. He let out a few frustrated growls as he attempted to right himself, wriggling around in the snow like a worm. Once he got himself up to his feet, he was still deep in the snow and highly uncomfortable. His pelt had never had the need to truly fill in a winter coat before, so it was a bit lacking. He looked back over at Frazzle. “Well, let’s hope any wandering pumas are ready to defend themselves.” He said, trying to look as fierce as possible.
He awkwardly hopped - the same way Frazzle had - to some firmer snow. From there, he shook himself, hoping to clear some of the snow off of his side and back, but found it had stuck onto him rather well. “Does this snow ever go away?” He asked, exasperated. This wasn’t quite how he imagined his first trip to the forest. He hoped something more exciting happened soon, or that it was greenleaf now.
Cheeto trotted along the packed snow, trying his best to ignore the packed snow stuck to him. It was quiet in the forest, quieter than the Twolegplace. It was nice, if not eerie. His nest never seemed to be quiet - the young Twoleg was noisier than a pack of kits fighting over a ball - and as he got older it seemed to bother him more. But he had never experienced the stillness of a forest in leafbare. That would take some getting used to.
Cheeto looked behind him to make sure Frazzle was still there. “Well, Frazzle-Dazzle,” he meowed, “Know of any good spots?”

(No worries! Ah yes. XD) (Hm… Much like Frazzle here, I don’t have much in mind. If any cat would like to run into them, I’d be fine with that. Or if you wanted them to run into a predator, we could do that~ no puma though, since I think that is being saved for a much later plot on one part of the mountain. We could have a small hunt, but unless it is easy prey, Frazzle's chances of catching something are slim. Or we could just have a largely uneventful first exploration, until/unless we have some sort of inspiration. XD I'm fine with anything really.) FrazzleLocation: Edge of Twolegplace With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) Frazzle shook excess snow from his paws, and glanced back just in time to catch the last moment of Cheeto's epic landing. His whiskers twitched in amusement, and his eyes were bright with ideas of the adventures they'd have. Their brightness intensified at the tom's brave comment about pumas, and that wide grin returned to Frazzle's face. He threw back his head with a hearty laugh. “HAH! Indeed! You hear that?! Prepare yourself pumas! You shall need it to have any hope of escape!” Frazzle bellowed into the forest, his voice echoing eerily throughout the lonely wood. It almost seemed quieter after the last echoes of his voice faded into the depths of the forest. Frazzle glanced back over at Cheeto as the snow-troubled tom hopped up to the hardened drift beside him, remarking about the snow with exasperation. “Never,” Frazzle lied in tease, his fluffy orange and white tail swishing with amusement at the toms struggles with the sticky snow. A little bit of snow also remained on Frazzle’s fur from their earlier tussle. He snorted at Cheeto’s attempts to rid of it. “If I recall correctly, it doesn’t stick like that on the coldest days,” he mused more honestly then, looking upward at the grey-blue sky. The sun would shine brighter some days more than others, and whenever it did, soaking up its rays was always a sort of bliss in the leafbare season. After a few more moments for good measure, he elaborated on the truth, “Give it a few more moons, and it will start getting warmer. The snow melts every newleaf.” Frazzle returned his gaze to the shadowy, clawlike trees before them. He watched Cheeto trot forward, eager but a tad cautious, like a kit exploring something for the first time. Well he had said that it WAS his first time out here. He padded forward at a more leisurely pace, sniffing at a spiny bush and then at a set of deer tracks. At Cheeto’s call, his ears perked and he lifted his head. He tilted his head as he pondered the tom’s question. He lifted his hind leg and scratched at his ear as he thought. He knocked off a small crust of snow in the process. “Mmmm…. Alright, Cheetah. Now how far were you wanting to go? In these parts, there are a few spots I can think of.” Frazzle stopped scratching and looked around. He first looked to a relatively open part the forest, trees placed further apart with several tail lengths between each. “There’s the rocky place… all sorts of fun nooks and crannies there.” His gaze shifted to another spot, where the leafless trees were packed more densely together. “Then again, I wonder if there are any mice left at the bowing tree…” His gaze kept shifting over the the various pathway options. One might think he was planning all sorts of possible pathways, but Frazzle was never really one to plan much of anything. He mostly got by following his impulses as they came. Any actual planning he did often ended up unfulfilled, or very much delayed. He cast a sideways glance at Cheeto, a mischievous glint in his eye. “Or we could go deeper in and see what we can find.”

{ yeah let's just play it by ear! if other people wanna hop in i have no problem with that at all, could be fun to see some interaction there. for now we can just go and see what happens or what we're feeling }CheetoThe Forest // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto could not help but be overwhelmed with excitement for this new place. He had always been the most adventurous of his siblings, wanting to know every nook and cranny of wherever they were. Now this forest was just another cranny of his new home. Whether or not his Twolegs wanted him out here was irrelevant. He wanted himself out here and that was that.
His eyes followed Frazzle’s gaze as he look in the direction of each new location. He closed his eyes briefly after Frazzle trailed off, trying to imagine each place. It was all so new to him, he felt like a kit being taken outside for the first time. The feeling wasn’t terribly far off from Cheeto’s normal personality: he was as curious as a kitten and twice as ready to brawl.
He flicked his eyes open and his ears pricked hearing Frazzle’s latest suggestion. His paws tingled at the idea of finding something new to Frazzle as well. Two soul brothers, in the forest, going wherever their hearts took them. “That one.” Cheeto said, hardly able to contain himself. He took off, tail held high, in the direction of...who knows! Cheeto didn't. All he knew is that the snow was rubbing up against his belly, and the trees above him had no leaves on them. He looked back to ensure that Frazzle was following him this time, a smile on his face.

(Sure! Sounds good! “Soul Brothers” I like that. XD) FrazzleLocation: Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) Cheeto’s gaze opened at Frazzle’s last option, and there was an energy in the plump tom’s gaze that told Frazzle everything he needed to know. He knew that energy very well. Next thing he knew, Cheeto was dashing headlong into the wood. Frazzle watched him go for the first couple of seconds, then took off after him with a short bout of laughter. The muted crunches of their pawsteps was soon all he could hear as the thin brown claws of branches flashed by above their heads. His ears stood tall and his tail would have been even taller if not for the speed at which they progressed. The two orange toms likely stood out in their muted surroundings, but it wasn't as if they cared much about that. Adventure was afoot! Cheeto’s haunches ploughed ahead of him by a good couple tail-lengths, and about half a tail-length to the right. Had he been right behind, he surely would have gotten some snow smacked into his face. It was a peculiar thing, watching the other cat’s haunches. It wasn’t that Frazzle had any particular fascination about butts~ stars forbid! He’d gladly leave that peculiarity to the dogs. No. It was just that Frazzle wasn’t accustomed to having a friend quite as exuberant as himself. It wasn’t often that he’d be dashing after another. For so long, he’d always been dashing headlong into this or that, passing others by, or dragging them along. But in this moment… it felt like a weight he never knew was there was being lifted off his chest. Frazzle broke from his thoughts as a smiling face turned to peer back at him. The unruly tom was already grinning ear to ear (not literally), but he waggled his tail in response. Then he saw a wiry section of thick, but leafless bushes coming up in front of Cheeto. His eyes widened and a thrill of energy rushed to his paws. “Bush!” he called, veering off to the right side of the bushes with a cackling churr. Would Cheeto notice in time? Who was going to make it to the other side first? With a burst of determination, he put on some extra speed as he bounded around to the other side of said bushes. As he broke past the patch of bushes, he watched intently on his left for a flash of striped orange in amongst the more monotone colours of leafbare. (If he does not see Cheeto, he will likely slow and possibly circle back. If he does see him, he will likely carry on running as he is. XD Feel free to do anything you want.)

{ i’m dyinggggg not dogs and butts HAHAHA }CheetoThe Forest // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto was not as lucky as Frazzle. Unaccustomed to the forest foliage, he hadn’t scented or seen the bush. So his last sight was Frazzle, wiggling his tail back at him, before he suddenly felt himself being grabbed in all directions by sharp, almost claw-like brown branches. Next he heard Frazzle’s warning. And then he was stuck. It took him a good couple seconds to register this, the shock from the sudden assault sticking around him like a haze before disappearing as quickly as it had come.
Ouch! Pokey! Get me out!! was all his internal monologue could offer as help. Cheeto had never been one to have much patience, preferring to charm or claw his way out of any unpleasant situation, but this was proving difficult. For one, the bush wasn’t alive, so Cheeto couldn’t pretty please his way out of this; secondly, although the branches were brittle at this time of year, they were not keen on snapping as Cheeto began to jerk and then thrash his limbs around. They seemed to only relent if he went further into the bush, not out, like he wanted. Well I don’t want to live in this sorry clump of…twigs. Cheeto snorted at the silly thought.
Now where has my friend gone? He realized, looking around for the first time since he was stuck, and seeing nothing but the still leafbare forest. He could guess by Frazzle’s warning that Frazzle had seen the bush and dodged it. Just his luck he hadn’t. If this was a race, Cheeto was very far behind indeed.
“Frazzle!” He called at the top of his lungs, his voice rustling through the barren branches. “Time to come dazzle this bush into letting me go!...” He trailed off at the end, unsure if Frazzle was near enough to help. He began to paw at the bush again, hoping maybe it would give up and just let him escape (with very little luck). { if only cheeto knew about his future living in (most likely) a bush hahaha }

(Lol! Yep! XD) FrazzleLocation: Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X]) Frazzle slowed, panting lightly as he looked around for his new orange friend. The tom was nowhere to be found. He came to a stop in the snow, and for a few moments, all he could hear was his own breath. But if he listened closely, he was sure he could hear a rattling sound coming from the bushes. Did Cheeto…? A loud cry that echoed out from the thick wiry bushes confirmed his suspicions. Frazzle couldn’t help but huff a quiet laugh, and he started forward once more at a slower pace. His long unruly fur never really got along well with bushes. Frazzle could recall getting stuck more than once and when he wasn’t careful, it still happened. Heh. Once he had gotten stuck in a patch of bush so long, he nearly starved before someone came to his rescue. He had never been more glad for all his friends in the twolegplace, who gladly fed him back to health. Don’t worry Cheetah, Frazzle thought. You won’t be left to starve. Prepare to be dazzled. As he wordlessly circled the bush, he kept studying the edge of it, searching for some sort of irregularity. These sorts of bushes often had some sort of trail or opening from the larger passing creatures looking for a temporary place of shelter. Frazzle’s ears perked with a short prrrrup when he spotted a small dark gap in the side of the bushline. It was made all the more obvious by the absence of leaves. Frazzle halted in his tracks and turned to approach the entrance. He had to force back a purr of pleasure as he plotted his sneaky approach. He hesitated only a moment before entering into the gap. It was tight, but it was at least passable. The branches tickled against him and tugged at his fur. The subtle rattling his passing caused made his approach not quite as sneaky as he had intended. At last the small trail opened to a flattened patch of branches and snow within the bushes. The barren branches above thinned enough to let a bit more light. Frazzle squinted for a moment at the cool leafbare light, before circling the small clearing. He peered into the surrounding bush, trying to see through the thick barren branches. In which direction was Cheeto, again? Would this convenient pocket be close enough? “Psst!” Frazzle hissed into the bush, his ears swivelling for a telltale sign of his orange friend. "Did I hear a Cheetah stuck in this bush?" he meowed in a hushed tone. (Lol. It's one of those things that sticks to you for the rest of your life. XD)

CheetoA Bush // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto was trying very hard not to panic, and not succeeding as much as he wished. This was a totally new situation to him, the most he’d ever been stuck before was getting his head stuck in a strange fence his Twolegs had put up in their house one time. And then his Twolegs had immediately gotten him out. He missed them in this moment. Or at least their quick help.
His ears twitched and pulled him out of his self-pitying thoughts. He heard something. He wasn’t entirely sure where it was coming from, but it sounded as if it was getting closer. He couldn’t move much, and he was nervous that moving would somehow trap him more, so he tried to stay as still as possible while honing his ears in on the sound. A rustling. It was getting closer and closer. Oh dear, he almost wailed internally. A puma! Coming right for me. What could he even do? He squeezed his eyes tight and brought his tail as close to his body as he could and hoped the puma would at least be quick.
His eyes shot open with relief when he realized it wasn’t a puma. “Frazzle-Dazzle!” He shouted, overcome with joy. “Yes, this bush trapped me! Nasty thing.” He paused as he realized Frazzle wasn’t anywhere in his line of vision. “Where are you?”

FrazzleLocation: A Bush in the Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) The response came loud and clear. And much closer than Frazzle had expected. The tomcat jumped in surprise, causing some of the overhanging branches to rattle. Then he grinned at the sound of his name called oh so joyfully. What a pleasant thing to hear! “Well my dear Cheetah, bushes can be quite the greedy creatures. They take as much as they can and really don’t like to let go. Such clingy things, bushes are,” Frazzle rambled amusedly. He really mustn’t extend things as much as he was, but he couldn’t help but tease the tom. Even so, enough was enough. “Alright. I am here. Can you tell where I am by the direction of my voice?” Frazzle had positioned himself on the side of the cozy little bush nest closest to where he had last heard Cheeto’s voice. “Like I said, bushes are greedy, so backing up will be difficult. But sometimes, they might let you move forward~ that is unless you’re stuck in a bramble. Luckily for the both of us, it isn’t a bramble!” He gave a short laugh. Frazzle started to paw at the branches before him. One small branch snapped. Then another. It was easier doing in leafbare than at any other time of year. “Look for any sort of gaps in the branches and come towards my voice,” he instructed, his voice suddenly sounding strangely calm and sincere, but not lacking its usual warmth. He smiled on nonetheless.

CheetoIn A Bush // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto frowned. “Well bushes should learn their place!” He snorted. “Selfish little bush,” he muttered, looking at the branches around him.
“I hear you, Frazzle.” He meowed, closing his eyes to better center in on the voice. “Yes…yes, I think I’ve got it!” His voice was laced with excitement. While scary, he was using his senses the way they were intended (well, maybe. Were cats supposed to get stuck in bushes?) and feeling more and more like a fierce cat.
“Ok, here goes nothing!…” Cheeto started, losing confidence as the sentence went on. He closed his eyes. Go forward, not backwards. He could do this. With his eyes closed. Because he wasn’t about to lose an eye to a bush.
With a deep breath and a heaving push, Cheeto barreled forward. To his surprise, the branches gave away and let him clear several mouse lengths. “Frazzle, it’s working!” Cheeto exclaimed, shock in his voice. His new friend was pretty smart, too! “Thank god it’s not a bramble indeed!”
Now he was more determined. He held his eyes open this time, attempting to almost swim through the branches, using his flexibility to his advantage. Within a few minutes, he could see Frazzle and was almost nose to nose with him.
“Hello friend!” He purred. “You have no idea how happy I am to see you again.”

FrazzleLocation: A Bush in the Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) Frazzle kept pushing branches aside, trying to make the way at least a little clearer. Cheeto’s meow was getting closer, sounding more excited and encouraged as he went. He couldn't help but snort and churr in amusement at some of the things the other tom said. This tom was a riot! Before long there was a rustle before him and that familiar tabby orange face popped up a mere whisker length from his own. He caught a whiff of that interesting twoleg smell. “Why hello again.” Frazzle slight smile grew to a grin. The orange and white tom was completely unaffected by their proximity as he carried on in his typical dramatic way. “Likewise! Congrats on making it! Glad to know the bush hadn’t eaten you for good.” His eyes widened all of the sudden as if a thought occurred to him, but there was the tiniest mischievous curl to his lip. “Or haaaas it?” With a smirk, he stepped back until the branches at the far end of the small clearing brushed against his tail. His tail swished to show off the little nook in which they now stood. Faint muted light shone down from the sparser branching above. The groundcover was a mixture of old mulchy leaves and snow; the shadows of the branches crisscrossed the small clearing. There was space enough for three cats to fit with relative comfort. “Welcome to the belly of the bush.” Frazzle had conveniently placed himself in front of the subtle exit path, concealing it from Cheeto’s sight unless the tom tried to peer around him.

CheetoA Bush // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto’s head cocked to one side at Frazzle’s funny question. “Wha…” he trailed off as Frazzle backed away more. Panicked, Cheeto quickly followed in the direction Frazzle went. He didn’t want to be alone in the bush again. But then the panic subsided. Frazzle stood back as if showing off, and Cheeto stood, taking in what was around them. It’s like a little den! He was shocked something like this existed in bushes. “Wow!” Cheeto said, sounding a bit more excited than the bush warranted. Even though the ground was getting his paws a bit mucky, and it wasn’t particularly bright in here, he was mesmerized by the fact that this space existed at all. “You could fit a whole group of cats in here.” He remarked, slowly padding in a circle, being careful not to snag his pelt on any of the branches. “Do all bushes have a belly like this?” Cheeto now asked Frazzle, sitting down in front of him and looking up with intent eyes.

FrazzleLocation: A Bush in the Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) Frazzle sat with satisfaction at Cheeto’s response, his tail curling around his paws. The faintest breeze from the hidden tunnel touched the fur of his back with it's cold touch. If Cheeto liked places like this, there were so many other things Frazzle would love to show the fellow tom going forward. Excitement prickled his paws at the thought, and he shuffled them happily. He followed Cheeto’s gaze to the den-like space. It really was pretty cool. It was places like these that got him to like bushes again after his own drastic misshap. Upon Cheeto’s mention of a ‘whole group’ of cats, Frazzle began picturing the place around them crammed with feline creatures. Cats pressed uncomfortably against the bush branches, and other cats squished between those cats, all grumbling and wriggling about as they tried to get about their business. Frazzle let out out an involuntary prrrrip, followed by a short bout of laughter. “A whole group, eh? Now that’d be a riot!” he prrowed with a wide grin. Frazzle blinked out of his imaginings when a pair of intent amber eyes begged his attention. He curled his lip in thought, tilting his gaze to the top right, then to the left. The intensity of his friend’s gaze was nearly blinding, making it hard to meet it directly. “Maybe. Maybe not.” His head tipped from one side to the other. “I usually only find these bellies from some sort of trail. Probably by some larger creature.” He added a spooky accent to the last two words. His tone lowered as he went on. “But who’s to know if trailless bushes have a belly? Perhaps the hapless creatures that stumble upon them get trapped within, never to see the outside world ever again…”

CheetoA Bush // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto shook out his fur as Frazzle sat down. One downside of this place was the staleness. The slight breeze rattled the branches, but didn’t reach the innermost section of the bush. It was strange to Cheeto. Even in his Twoleg den, there always seemed to be air moving.
“A kitty party!” Cheeto shot back, chuffing with amusement. He had never been around so many cats, wasn’t sure exactly how many could fit in here. But it really would be a riot!
Cheeto’s fur bristled. He stood stiffly on all four paws, looking around the bush. He whipped his head back around to Frazzle. “Bush pumas?” He hissed, as if one was waiting just outside, ready to pounce on them. But then again, trailess bushes…was his companion right? If a puma was trapped in a bush, it would surely starve. Or would it? He didn’t know how pumas worked. Maybe they had huge, strong bellies that could live off prey for ages.
“We have to get out!” Cheeto said to Frazzle he wasn’t willing to risk getting caught in the belly of a puma for moons and moons to come. He began to pace around the perimeter of the bush, sniffing and snuffling for a way out. He stopped as he got closer to Frazzle. “It’s behind you!” He said to his companion, prodding him with a paw.

FrazzleLocation: A Bush in the Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) Bush pumas? A chill passed through Frazzle’s bones at the thought. Did pumas ever come to live in bushes? Frazzle wouldn’t know. He had never met one. As Cheeto fretted and paced, looking around for the exit, Frazzle merely sat there with his jaws slightly parted, staring at nothing in particular with wide, distant eyes. Something tickled within his chest as he tried to imagine meeting a bush puma~ it was exciting and terrifying all wrapped together in a delightful package of pure adventure. A sudden prod from the orange tabby snapped him out of his revelry. He blinked a few times as he tried to put together what they were doing again. “Behind-? Oh!” Frazzle peered over his shoulder and upon seeing the tunnel, he remembered what he had been doing. He flashed Cheeto a cheeky grin and stepped aside, revealing the small trail. “Whaaaaat? How did that get there?” he meowed squeakily, an oh-so-obviously fake reaction. His lingering scent undeniably came from the tunnel, further proving that he had known it was there all along.

CheetoThe Forest // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto narrowed his eyes at Frazzle. He tried to look as menacing as possible with his slivered eyes, but he wasn’t really mad at the tom. Even if he had been blocking Cheeto’s escape.
“Well well well, blocking the only escape!” Cheeto growled, a slight pur tinging the edges of his voice. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were a bush puma!” Cheeto flicked Frazzle’s nose with his tail tip as he shot out of the small trail, desperate to feel the sun on his back.
When he finally burst back into the forest, all the anxiety that was building up inside him released. He felt as exhilarated as when he jumped out of that window earlier int he morning! “Come on Frazzle, let’s go!” He yelled back into the bush, trotting around in little circles.

(I made it! ^^ Mwahahaha!) FrazzleLocation: A Bush in the Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) Frazzle steadily kept the orange tabby tom’s squinty glare and could barely hold back a cheeky grin as he feigned a look of innocence. Had the twoleg companion grown tired of this adventure already? But as the tom growled, Frazzle was quick to catch onto the purr in his voice. Apparently Cheeto wasn’t quite as upset as he appeared and Frazzle couldn’t help but admire his showmanship. His cheeky grin burst free shortly after he was called a bush puma, at the same time that Cheeto’s tail tapped Frazzle’s nose. Next moment, the orange tabby was gone, the very same tail vanishing into the small trail. He only stayed long enough to wiggle his ticklish nose a couple times, then slipped into the trail after the other tom. The branches tugged a little more on the way out than the way in for the longfurred tom. Frazzle lost a couple of small knotted patches of his thicker winter fur, and gained a few small twigs in his fur here and there. The closer he got to the exit, the more space there was and the easier it was to move forward. It wasn’t long before he could see the light brightening ahead. He popped out of the bush shortly after his name was called, and he stopped outside the exit to shake himself. One larger stick shook free from his pelt. The bedraggled tom looked up to see Cheeto trotting eagerly, and any irritation gained from the troublesome bushtravel quickly dispersed in the light of his friend’s excitement. He bounded over to the fellow tom and travelled onwards, trotting along through the snowy wood. Fortunately for them, the snow was not quite as deep this far into the forest. “And what if I was a bush puma?” Frazzle called inquiringly to the other tom as they went. He wore an amused smirk and a sparkle lit his gaze.

Hey hey y’all! Finally done with school, and had a couple weeks to decompress from that stress 😅 would not recommend doing 15 credits and working a full time job, 0/10 would not do again. But I’m hoping to get back into a roll here! I think the only cats I’m gonna continue a thread with are Flame and Wila, and I’m down for a skip if time has passed Feathertalon , idk how y’all have been going lately lol. Oh! And Spark and Sprite soot I do want to continue with them, they’re pretty cute. Everyone else is back open if anyone wants to throw their cats at them! Gardenia and Wisteria and then Aster and Alyssum are both pairs!

{ sorry for how long that took!! i'm finally back in my routine so the response time should be back to normal now. any preference for what the boys get up to now? }CheetoThe Forest // With Frazzle // Light
Cheeto looked over at Frazzle as they trotted along, deeper into the forest. "Well, you certainly look like one right now!” He snorted. His friend’s ruffled coat looked as wild as a Big Cat, that was for sure. Nothing like the clean, well-groomed coat his Twolegs made sure he had.
Cheeto peeked back at his own coat. He was surprised to see it was a bit ruffled as well! His usually smooth, shiny coat was looking dull after some run-ins with snow and a bush. But Cheeto was even more surprised that he did not mind so much. The adventure and excitement he had been having outside far exceeded any desire to keep himself spotless. He wanted more, so much more of this.
"Have you ever caught anything out here?” He stopped in his tracks and waited for Frazzle to catch up. He wasn’t quite sure where they were going, and although he enjoyed leading the way, he wasn’t ready yet to be lost in these woods.

(Running: Yay, welcome back!)
(Veni: All good! ^^ July is my busiest month, so my responses may be slow. But I'll try to get 'em in when I can.
As for any preferences... Nope! I'm good with almost anything. Dunno if they'll make it as far as the river this time, or if they'll lose track of time and have to stay the night. XD)
(Veni and Running: And if you are willing Veni, and Running is still up for RP, then perhaps we could have another run in with Cheeto, Frazzle and Running's characters in the forest. ^^)

FrazzleLocation: Forest With: Cheeto ( [X] . VeniVidiVici . [X] ) The idea of looking like a bush puma tickled Frazzle’s fancy. He shook himself as he walked, fluffing himself out and taking large dramatized steps. With a low rumble, he stalked forth, having fun fancying himself as a bush puma. His eyes were held wide and flicked to the orange tabby ahead of him. The tabby had gotten farther ahead than he had thought. Bush-puma Frazzle froze and quietly kneaded the ground, much like a cat who spotted prey. Plump, juicy cat straight ahead. He could probably make it in two or three bounds? The orange prey suddenly stopped where he stood and turned to look at bush-puma Frazzle, meowing. His cover was blown! A real bush puma would probably waste no time on his attack~ but Frazzle was no real bush puma. Instead, Frazzle made a silly face, sticking his tongue part way out and bounded forth four hops to Cheeto’s side. “Oh yeah! Lots of things!” Frazzle’s hunting skills were hit or miss. Some days he did better than others, just as long as he didn’t get too distracted. “Why just the other day, we found a mouse-nest in the rocks. I caught two of -em!”
