Hey guys!! It’s been a while ^^;
I’ve been wondering if we’d wanna do a sort of soft reboot for this place? I’d basically do a huge activity check, message members to see if they’re still interested in this rp and whatnot, refresh the member list up and open up some more “important” roles that the plot calls for?
I’d probably also do a timeskip to where the Clans are being officially created, starting with member recruitment and whatnot if all that sounds okay

Massive ping list incoming! -- ANNOUNCEMENT --Resurgence will be going through a soft reboot phase. What this means is that I will be going through and pinging every member that is currently on the member list to check and see where they stand with the role-play. There will be no hard feelings if anybody decides to drop this role-play, as it is understandable if interest was lost due to the stagnant nature it went through for a few months; however, if you are still interested, let me know! Anybody who does not respond by Wednesday, July 24th will be removed from the member list along with their characters. This is also a chance to go through character lists and notify me if you want to add and/or remove characters. There is also a chance that some "plot-important" spots will be opened up as well; in the event that this happens, I will notify everybody who is still part of the role-play and allow them the chance to take a spot. Ongoing role-play scenes may continue, but on Thursday, July 25th, there will be a timeskip happening. This timeskip will take us to when cats are being recruited and the Clans are in their infancy stage of formation. Thank you all for your patience and understanding! I think my characters should be fine? Seeing as I have two pairs that operate together atm and a few that don’t really do anything until they’re needed lol. Definitely won’t be adding anyone else though 😅

Member list and characters have been updated! We are now at twenty-three mollies, twenty-one toms, and one nonbinary. If you decide to make new characters/get rid of old characters, please keep the gender ratios in mind when doing so!
Role-playing starts tomorrow - I'm going to go ahead and say there's been a moon between old scenes and these new scenes. I honestly probably won't have some big starting post typed up for the skip, we're just gonna go ahead and throw cats around and start scenes from there. The group of cats who met with Pumaheart have probably set up a time to meet back up at the cave Puma lives in, but for now we'll say they're exploring around and trying to get recruits. So cats who haven't been involved in Clan stuff will now get that chance!
With that said, all my cats will be open and ready for scenes tomorrow!

I’m not fully off work yet, but once I am, I’m gonna go through my list of characters in to see who I’m keeping. The one thing I know off the bat is that I think I may update Vixen from nonbinary to a Tom - I’ve sat on them for a while, and it feels right

Alrighty. One moon later. What my characters have been up to the last moon:
Frazzle: Would be up to his usual shenanigans, doing whatever with whomever. XD He might pay Cheeto a few more visits too. I wouldn't be surprised if he is one of the first to try out whatever idea the recruiters have. Not sure how he'll do in the long run. He has the tendency to get distracted. But he knows a lot of cats and would be able to spread the word.
Killer: Sticks mostly to the pine forest. Would occasionally travel further to hunt. Notices that Binx isn't around anymore. Maybe he gets a little lonely and occasionally meanders near the farm, where he met the peppy young tom, Zee. Usually avoids actually going too far onto the barn territory. At least for now. Maybe he'll visit the barn one of these days, heheh.
Edit: I think I'll say he's thought about it, but hasn't visited the farm since the first time, but will again after the passing moon.
Wonder: Has been asking more questions about life and things beyond the barn of late. Unlike before, when she used to tail Alice around and stick to her like glue when she wasn't sticking to quiet hidden places~ she seems more perky, and more eager to go off and hang out with Boz, albeit still awkwardly at times. But as the moon wears on, she becomes less awkward, a little braver, and the tiniest bit bolder as she goes about with Boz. They've stuck to the farm area for now, exploring the snowy premises as Wonder had been too afraid to do on her own before then. And in the winter no less! Hahah. And sometimes they hang out in little hidden places, and Wonder listens to Boz's tales of adventure. XD
If that sounds good with Soot and Feather. I'm excited to see how relations between Alice, Wonder, Boz, and Boz fam (and maybe Binx too) will develop!
Artichoke: He and Caci will have likely settled into their home, and have begun planning things for their kits.
If that's okay, Soot. ^^
Cotton: Drills down on Creamsicle's hunting training. After a moon, is not quite as lenient as she once was. She's still happy to have a kit around again. She does not entertain the idea of going to the twolegplace at all. Especially so during leafbare. She stubbornly sticks to the moor and does her best to train Creamsicle in the ways of the moor. She might be willing to add some forest training later. Still not knowing the truth, her opinion of Creamsicle's previous parentage is still not very high, but has improved slightly with the little tidbits Creamsicle gives her. But considering the state in which she found Creamsicle, she has a bad 'first impression'.

Last moon update for my cats!
Flame- has been spending more and more time out of his house with Wila, either hanging in her garden or exploring more of the forest. They’ve venture onto the moor a few times, but not as much as the forest. Very much head over heels for her now.
Shadow- pretty much the same old same old, but has met up with Honey once or twice. Definitely considers her a friend, if not a daughter figure.
Gardenia and Wisteria- finally found a small area on the edge of the forest to claim, have set up a den in an old twisted tree, and have mostly stuck to themselves.
Alyssum and Aster- have stuck to their territory for the most part, with a few visits close to the farm to check up on Ember from afar.
Heather and Spark- have been helping Sprite do more around the farm, while also making sure she doesn’t over exert herself. Spark and her take regular walks around the farm, and every time she manages to go further and further.
Please lmk if anything related to other characters isn’t something you want, I will gladly change it! Just wanted to get a bit of an explanation up lol

ooo boy summariesssss
Kuta - quickly made peace with not going back to his twolegs, though is still trying to wrap his head around what a clan really is but he's pretty confident he can put one together, has made a home for himself in moorland under a smooth bolder that is propped diagonally on other rocks and stone for the time being. He hangs out with Smoke and Percy whenever the chance arises as he feels they're all fast friends
Binx - has mostly adjusted to both living in a group as well as around dogs, though remains generally reserved as is her nature - has been somewhat unintentionally shadowing Alice. While she's generally come out of her shell and is clearly the most comfortable around Alice and Wonder, she's still a bit awkward about hanging out with them just for funsies as it's not something she ever had the chance to do with other cats growing up. Despite feeling like her life is better for staying, she oddly misses her dilapidated home in the pines and Killer, and is planning to make a trip to visit him
Honey - has remained very careful to keep to herself as she enjoys her little territory, though she's come to rather enjoy and look forward to Shadow's visits. Occasionally she'll find herself at the edge of the woods towards the twoleg place watching to see if he'll join her for a day or two on one of his outings
Milo - has become increasingly curious about life beyond his fence, though has not ventured very far past where he and Fran got previously. He wants to venture away, if even just for a short time, but can't bring himself to leave his boy
Vixen - (I have concluded Vixen is a tom - it feels very fitting for him <3) the wounds on his back have generally healed and while the fox is long out of his mind, Lotus is not. In a way he admires her and her ability to go toe to toe with him in terms of verbal trade, and because of this part of him hopes to see her again for sheer entertainment if nothing else (he doesn't know how to make friends). He's heard whispers of a couple of cats trying to get a group together for something but this information is not concrete, and he's simply looking to collect info for his own gain and satisfaction of his curiosity at this time
Dew - she wasn't up to much to begin with, has continued about her business of being a traveling caregiver with whatever supplies she can find in the area and her self-taught knowledge of herbs - is likely taking her time in the moorland about now with intentions to swing by the barn on the trip she makes every moon when she makes her rounds between the moor and forest
Bo - has continued about his business of being the farm's guardian, though is very pleased to see Wonder exploring more of the farmland available to her. Understands there might be a new dog brought in (I might make another one I don't know yet) but has yet to hear the humans confirm. he's just straight vibin man
I believe that's everyone for me - I'm happy to add or remove anything in terms of who's interacting with who as y'all please c:

Percy: Very much eager to get out and start looking for other cats to spread the word about the Clans. He's been spending most, if not all, of his time with Smoke, and while he's developing deep friendship for Smoke and rather excited about all this Clan business, the reality of it all is starting to hit him. He's not sure how he feels about the possibility of settling down in one area and leaving his den - he's always been a loner, and while he has a centralized den for himself, he's a free-spirited drifter. The idea of living in borders sits uneasy with him.
Pumaheart: I don't think she does any recruiting if I'm being honest. She's content with staying in her caves and staying there in case Kuta, Smoke, Percy, and co need to visit with her. StarClan has been speaking with her more and more as of late, sending her fleeting messages and colorful visions. She's been aware that creating the Clans of old will stir up problems, but it's becoming clearer to her that these problems will be much more than even she anticipated.
Alice: Has grown accustomed to Binx's presence and sees her as sort of an apprentice, even a sister. She's also become aware of Wonder's growing confidence, and while she's proud to see it, she's curious as to where exactly it's coming from and is a little paranoid that Wonder is going to get into something she shouldn't. She's also noticed more cat activity around the outskirts of the barn as well, putting her on the defensive.
Solomon: not much has been going on with him in the last moon. He's just trying to survive, still longs for the moor, but restricts himself to the forest.
Wila: Spending more and more time with Flame, not really staying in her twoleg den all that much anymore. She isn't exactly in love with Flame just yet or as infatuated with him as he is to her, but she for sure has a huge crush on him despite being a little wary about her feelings. She'd be easily convinced to help with the formation of the Clans at this point though.
Comet & Star: Not much on their ends, either. Star has heard talk of "Clans" and is rather intrigued by this, wondering if any of these "Clan" cats are going to show up and speak with him. Comet is more oblivious about it all, but he's ready and willing to make new friends. Comet's naive and innocent, more open to outsiders. Star is going to be guarded about it all, but charismatic enough to draw in new cats.
Creamsicle: Her wilderness skills have improved just a little, but it's obvious she isn't giving her all. Even when she does give a good effort it's also clear that she isn't going to be the best hunter or fighter - average at best. She's still somewhat melancholy about her family, but still unable to speak comfortably about her mother and sibling to Cotton. She managed to make her first catch without hesitation, but there's still a lot of progress yet for her.
Confetti: just been doing farm dog things, curious about this talk of the farmers possibly getting a new dog

whisps moon summary!
smoke: has been trying to be the best recruiter be can be; a few cats have take refuge in his den and hes hoping to eventually persuade them to join the Clans. has grown attached to Percy, more than he should be(the cuties). has been sharing more with starclan and growing more excited for the change they will bring.
quinn: hanging out with Spackle more and more, has grown as liking for the tom. though she still refuses to travel to the moorland with him. checks in with her housefolk every now and then, open to try to be recruited.
ember: adjusting to life on the barn, is finally beginning to let his guard down for the first time in moons, also open to talk with a moorland cat.
leo: still a cocky bastard, taking his duties way too seriously. hostile towards the cats on the moorland. (im realizing the “stolen kits” plot is a no go with no love interest for leo)
magpie: easily swayed, and has/will decide to join kuta. mostly just a wanderer for now though
nimbus and fran: fran is happy where she is, she has no desires for venturing further out of twoleg place for a life. meanwhile, nimbus has been escaping more and more, expanding his pallet. his interest will be piqued when he hears the gossip of a group of forest cats.
gray sky(new!): has just descended from a long journey from the mountains. the moorland is strange, and far from what he is used to. but he is glad to be away from his estranged family. he refuses to be amongst another group of cats…(will expand more on him in a bit)

Gray Sky -- 38 moons -- male leery | impatient | efficient a long-haired gray and white tabby with pale green eyes loner | etherclan love interest for kuta(extremelyextra did you want it to where they have already met once briefly, and run into each other again?) slight backstory: Gray Sky was born and raised far away to a kinship of cats. their home was in a valley deep within the mountains. He was born destined to save his kinship. But the older he grew, the more he realized how twisted their ways were. And without giving a second thought, before he lost his life to a cause he no longer believed him, Gray Sky escaped. Turning his back on his home and all the cats he'd grown to love. He left and never looked back. After a years travel, he finally emerges from the mountains to a new, strange land. Full of environments he's never seen, and animals he's never encountered. (i mean, if anyone is volunteering to keep the stolen kits plotline with leo/farm cats vs etherclan 👀) |

(I'd be willing to make a cat for the stolen kits plotline, if you'd like. I actually have an idea for a new cat. Feather has first dibs though, of course. ;3
Soot and I have also loosely planned for Boz and Wonder to eventually leave the barn for the clans too. XP So we'll see how that works out alongside this planned conflict. XD)
