It’s a very pros versus cons kinda thing, but I still have some wonder left for the snow lol
(My biggest thing is I wish we would get snow, snow. When we get winter weather it’s like five solid inches of ice and a dusting of snow on top. It’s so frustrating. And because it’s so infrequent, yes I totally get the people driving badly in it. When it ices around here I simply stay home - I can’t risk my life for anything. A few years ago we got a bad ice storm and I called out of work for four days in a row because I didn’t feel safe driving in it when the roads were still covered in icy slush. I just wish that we’d get REAL snow when we do. The last couple years, though, it’s been too warm even for ice during the winter)
Yeah, we get snow, but then after a day or two it turns into ice. Cause we get enough sun that it usually melts the top snow, then it refreezes over night, and rinse and repeat until it’s scary as hell, or until it gets just warm enough to overcome the snow and ice. The roads are pretty well maintained at least, especially my way to work now, cause it’s basically a trucking route from Canada, so it’s kept clear as much as possible.
