WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder's ears tilted back, and she averted her gaze. Her eartips were warm with embarrassment. Was the plant Spackle spoke of similar to the to toy she used to play with? Did that mean that she wasn't supposed to play with it back then? At the time, it had kind of been like the only small friend she could play with. A soft little pouch of a friend that never reacted or spoke at all. She never used to think twice about the exhilaration it gave her. It had taken a few moons before she realized that it was different than the other toys. And now that she was among other cats, she couldn't even imagine playing with that thing in front of them all... it would be so embarrassing. "It's probably for the best..." she murmured in agreement. If it was anything like Spackle's plant, it was probably for the best that they don't touch the stuff. Wonder glanced at Boz when he asked about her hunting, and her ears lifted. She blinked, wondering where he was getting at. "Yes. I caught a magpie." She was actually quite proud of her catch, even if it was a scavenger-type bird. Magpies weren't as big as hawks, but they were bigger than the songbirds around here, and could put up a fight if they got the chance. Really though, what had she been thinking? As soon as she saw it, her hunting instincts kicked in and she hadn't given it much thought. The young calico paused and peered at Boz's face for a couple moments. Something didn't seem quite right, but she couldn't quite place it. Maybe he was just hungry or something. "Why? Are you hungry?" Wonder shifted, ready to stand and go and get him something at a moment's notice. (But he's the great Sage Boz! Of course he has to know everything! XD It's all good. He's had a knowledgeable coach in life.) (Hehe. Fair point. Killer probably wouldn't be a fan either. He's too much of a stoic- kinda guy.) (Lol, that would be funny. XD Proceeds to draw a vampire costume over the picture of Wonder.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz flicked his ear, a small idea coming to mind. Ignoring the pang of hunger for just a moment, he gives a small, perked up grin, ears standing straight and sharp. "A Magpie? That's a good catch, I'm more of a bird catcher than mice catcher." Boz says, tail swishing behind him. He only took a small sniff at that.. toy, and he feels a bit odd. Odd Boz? He gives a small snorts before... sneezing, bringing a paw up to bat at his muzzle before setting it down. "I am hungry- I was on my way to get prey when I hurt my paw." He explains idly, whiskers twitching at the small little spike of pain coming from his paw joint. Ouch.He wakes up early, he always has, no need to waste the bright, and night hours of the day. Stay up a tad late by adult cat standards, and wake up early by adult cat standards. It's suited him perfectly. Which means he has a moderately consistent schedule of when he eats, which he missed today, and he's starting to feel the effects of being hungry, and constantly forgetting to ask Zee if he could grab him something from the pile, or walking carefully to get something himself. Shaking himself out of his own head, he gives a small smile to Wonder, more.. perked up and expressive. "I'm itching to walk on.. at least my three other paws. And something other than this nest.. would you mind helping me over to the prey pile?" He asks his friend as politely as ever, tone prim and proper, head tilting just a tad. She doesn't have to, but he's sure should would do it without him asking anyway. So he might as well ask her. "I can walk myself.. but just in case I lose my balance? Not likely, but just in case." He adds idly, tail swishing.
(That stuff made him a little more expressive xD And the idea of walking a bit, lol.) (And yeah- maybe Spackle and Killer kind of.. got a little loopy with it together once and dare not speak of that day again xD Zoomies) (Pffft, the little fangs, and Boz with just O.O eyes.) (And runningsky123, I think my last reply to you was on page 39?)

Spark Location: The Farm With: Sprite ( soot) “I do. The farmer has me do competitions as well as herding, so he likes to have me stay in the house during the nights. Sometimes if there’s been a lot of coyote activity around Confetti and I will stay out with Bo, but that doesn’t happen a lot.”, he said. He always loved when it did though, as the three usually spent it curled up together. “Well, that doesn’t mean anything.”, Spark said. “I was the runt of my litter, but I found my place.”, he said. “I definitely wouldn’t have been able to work a farm with the amount of sheep as where I was born.”, he said. “But this farm’s small enough it’s not a problem for me. You just have to find your spot.“, he said. Flame Location: Pine Forest With: Wila ( Feathertalon) Flame purred at her invitation, padding over and crouching down besides her, leaning into her slightly, both so they could both reach the mouse, and also because it was pretty chilly not that they were focused on catching something. At least, that’s what he would tell her if she asked. He waited for her to take a bite first, both because she hadn’t had forest prey yet, and because it was her kill. It seemed only fitting she should have the first bite. Alyssum and Aster Location: The Moor With: Ember ( whispering) Alyssum flicked her tail. This kitten was incredibly snappish. She didn’t comment on his rude tone, not wanting to get into a fight with a kitten, but he was starting to get on her nerves. She would have insisted they leave, but she could sense that would just turn into a fight as well, so she relented. “Alright, we’ll come down with you. We’ll have to go around the other way, closer to the barn. I’d… like the avoid the dogs if we can.”, she said, looking tense. She wasn’t a fan of dogs, not after she’d been chased by a few feral ones when she’d first come to moor. They’d chased her clear to the base of the mountains, her pawpads shredded and bleeding. It had taken a week for them to heal enough for her to walk back to where she’d been staying. Gardenia and Wisteria Location: Forest With: Frazzle ( Light) Wisteria murrowed with amusement at the sight of Frazzle when he reappeared, placing her mouse down as he came back up the slope. “You too.”, she said with a smile. She would have said that there was one for each of them now, but Frazzle was already showing them around, she didn’t want to be rude and expect him to share prey as well. Especially with the snow and cold. Gardenia had crouched down, tucking her paws underneath her body, her tail wrapped around them as well. She was chilly, as her fur was shorter and less fluffy than her sister’s.

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder gave him a small smile as she thought of his jumps. "I could see you being pretty good at catching birds," she agreed with a soft nod. She watched him bat at his muzzle, and eyed his paw with concern. The young molly stood when he said he was hungry. "Well then I'll go and get some-" Wonder paused when he insisted that he wanted to get out of the nest. Oh right. It mustn't be very pleasant to be stuck in the same place for too long for him. But his paw. "Are you sure it's okay to be walking on it this soon?" When he said he could go himself, Wonder's ears tilted back in concern. There was no way he should be walking on that alone, right? At least he was willing to let her help. "Alright," she said at last, not willing to argue further. Her ears lifted a tad. "I'll help." He had made up his mind. She was just happy to help however she could. Wonder stepped forward and hovered by the nest on his hurt paw side, ready to support him as needed. She wasn't exactly sure if she should be doing something to help him up, and sort of watched Boz for any signal of what she should do. Once he stood, she would try and walk directly next to him on the side of his hurt paw. Boz was was a bit more expressive than normal, perky and with a smile. Maybe having other cats visit him had improved his mood. It made Wonder glad that she could have some part in cheering her friend up when he was down.
(Oh wait... I just read something that says catmint and catnip are different. That explains a lot. Catmint is the healing one. Catnip is the weird one. They look similar though. That's why the info from the books wasn't adding up in my head. Catnip actually isn't mentioned in the books. And Wonder probably wouldn't have had much for effects because she was fairly young when she was with the farmers- only experiencing the effects maybe later when she visited. Maybe that's part of the reason she didn't notice the difference before. Not all cats are effected, and the effects when eaten can vary from when it is smelled.) (Wonder is oblivious. XD) (Lol. That would be funny. I feel like Killer might become more scary under it's influence. XD) (Yep heheh. XD Maybe a cape and some wings.)

FrazzleLocation: Forest With: Wisteria and Gardenia ( runningsky123 ) "It's the perfect time for a snack break if I do say so myself!" Frazzle chirruped, his tail held high and waggling in excitement at the thought of eating fresh juicy prey. "And there's enough for all of us!" He looked around for Gardenia. He kept losing track of her because she always seemed to hang back, while Wisteria was almost always right behind him. It didn't help that their light-coloured creamish pelts were decently disguised in these snowy times. Ah! There she was! She was crouched a short ways away, near the edge of the branches. Frazzle snatched one of his mice and plopped it down before her. "One mouse for you." He looked back at Wisteria. "You've got yours. Good." He padded cheerily back to the one he had left behind. "~And the last one for me~!" he mewed in an almost singsongy way. He took his and plopped it down near the two mollies, so they were arranged in a rough sort of triangle formation. He sat himself down with a likewise plop, and set his paws to each side of his new tantalizing treasure. He could practically feel it's warmth already. His mouth was salivating in anticipation. He briefly lifted his head to savour the moment. "Thanks for the meal!" he prrowed, before digging in.
(I'm going to start writing their names properly and just have him say the names wrong until he properly learns them. :3)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn
He gave a tiny smile, he is pretty good at catching birds. He's.. a good jumper, and climber. Zee's a fan of calling him a 'Tree dweller', and Boz has zero clue what that means besides context. Tree's are good vantage points, and comfy, especially when they have those little old bird nests, or old nooks you can climb into and sleep in. He has the sudden urge to tell Wonder all about it. He glances up at Wonder's concerned gazed, giving her a reassuring look, if not a smile. "I make sure not to walk on it, I just keep it up and use my three other legs." He explains, watching as she moves to his side, Box getting up easily enough. He'll have to limp his way over a bit, but he's mastered that. It's definitely easier when he has three working paws rather than two, that.. wasn't fun. "Thank you." He said quietly, taking a moment to right himself before starting to take a limping walk towards the prey pile. He kept up well enough, just walking a bit awkwardly, and slowly. Boz glances over to Wonder, ears flicking. "Have I told you about the really tall tree I climbed up with Spackle once?" He says suddenly, ears tilting at the memory, the scent of prey eventually wafting into his nose as they got closer. "There's a surprsing mix of needle-tree's and soft-tree's in the forest." He says, there's not too many needle-tree's, but a few. And they get tall. "Have you seen a needle tree? If not I'll show you sometime when we go to the forest- but anyway. It was tall, taller than the Barn. There was this little cubby inside, where an Owl used to live Spackle said, and we got to sleep in there for the night. The branches were fun to climb up." He said idly, tail flicking cheerily once the prey pile was in sight.
(Soft-tree's are just leafy tree's, and then needle trees are Pine tree's, just to clarify, lol) (And really? I thought they were the same thing this entire time ._., whoops. And I think it'd be funny if Box either got super, ridiculously effected by just a whiff, or he could literally eat a whole plant with zero effects.) (Pft-) (I imagine Spackle was the kind of cat to sit there, trying not to do anything stupid, but vibrating with the energy of a thousand suns-) (Boz could have the little beak on this nose, and the little feather things at the back of his head xD)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder's mid-length fur pressed against his as they made their way to the fresh-kill pile. "It's the least I can do," she mewed warmly. Wonder's ears perked as Boz brought up another story. He was surprisingly perky today~ probably because he had been restricted to his nest for a while. "No, I haven't." The young calico looked in his direction, but didn't turn her head too much~ else her face get to close to Boz's. "Yeah?" She'd seen a few trees around the farm, but she'd never been to the forest she kept hearing stories about. "I'm not sure... I don't think so." She smiled and nodded when he said he'd show them to her some day. Her eyes widened when he spoke of the tall tree they climbed and about the place where an owl had lived. Taller than the barn? It must've been awfully tall. "Is that where you learnt to love climbing?" He did like to climb, and it sounded like he used to do it with Spackle a lot. Did he learn to climb from Spackle, like she had from Alice? Precious memories like that would always stick close to her heart. Once they drew close to the prey pile, she focused on the task before them. There was a magpie, a couple of fat mice, and a squirrel. "Which one would you like today?" she asked, glancing over at him with the slightest shift of her head. (Heheh. ^^ Thought so. Thanks for the clarification.) (SAME though. XD Pfft. Boz and his Catnip adventures.) (Well good thing he has a Sun Eater with him. >:3) (Haha, yup.)

Sprite w/ Spark (runningsky123) Location // The FarmSprite's tail lashed behind her in a slow, but curious motion. Her head tilts as she looks up to him, eyes a tinge wide. "Competitions..?" She says, evidently confused. Like.. competitions against other dogs.. or something..? Sprite just shakes her head, taking in a deep breath, and ignoring the pang of wetness she feels in her lungs when she does. She's always had that. Sprite makes a surprised hum, ears tilting. He.. was a runt? It takes not even a second to comprehend the words, it's a nickname she hears more often than her name from some cats. It's kinda funny, really, plus she likes having a nickname. Might as well be something that's fits her, literally. "Mm.. I guess- I can do a few things. It's not.. I'm not always around sleeping- I'm.. tryna help." Sprite says idly, her paws aching a tad as she walks along, her tail flicks behind her happily though. If someone as big, and hard working as this dog beside her is telling her she can at least do something, who is she to deny that?
(Sorry for the late reply! Brain had a bout of forgetfulness for a minute there- lol.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The BarnHe gave a small, idle blink at her question. "I don't know if that was the exact time, I've always enjoyed it." He says his fluffy fur brushing against hers as they walked. His eyes turned, and settled on the prey pile, leaning slightly closer to Wonder when his balance went a tad precarious. Looking over the prey pile intently, his gaze set instantly on the magpie. His first thought was more feathers! And the second was that it was a pretty set of colors, and the third was that bird's are his favorite. Looking over to Wonder, and very nearly bumping his face into hers, which he didn't even really notice, his eyes lit up. "A magpie seems good. Did you eat already?" Boz says and asks, tail twitching behind him, his whiskers grazing the side of her face. Plucking the feathers is a tad of a hassle on occasion, but he doesn't really mind. Well, it's not a hassle right now anyhow, it's not like he's particularly pressed for time. Giving her a small, and affectionate blink, a small, noiseless 'Thank you.' as he moved to sit himself down, his hurt paw still held up near his chest. It was nearly buried in his slightly fluffed up, long fur. It always puffed just a tinge in the cold, even if he didn't mean for it to.
(Yes xD I figure they might not have words for it like we do- lol. And! A random little thing, Boz absolutely loves the smell of mint, and pine needle trees. Whenever he gets the chance, he brings some of the needles back to put in his nest to keep the smell. Same with mint leaves!) (I kept on getting Box last time instead of Boz, don't mind me- lool. And yes! It'd be funny if one time, out of pure curiosity, he just eats half of a Catnip plant just to see what'd happen. And depending on his reaction, he might not really remember it-) (Spackle and Sun Eater are gonna be a very interesting pair xD Zee's gonna get a laugh out of the stark personalities there.)

(Sorry for the wait. Totally had planned on doing it last night, but just fell asleep. XD) WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Of course he would have always enjoyed jumping. That did sound like him. Wonder's ears wiggled in acknowledgement as they walked. When he leaned closer to her, she pressed her smaller form against him in support, silently willing him to find his balance again. She perked a little when he said he wanted the magpie. Was it because she caught it? Or was it because of the feathers? Boz did seem to like feathers. She shook her head when he inquired as to whether or not she had eaten. "No. I haven't." She watched as he sat and blinked at her. She blinked in response with a short dip of her head in a silent 'your welcome,' before padding on to the pile and grasping the magpie by the back of its neck; she half-dragged-half-carried the cumbersome black and white bird to Boz. She set it down softly on the straw littered stone floor before him. "I had been thinking on maybe catching a bite with you when I got back, but I kind of got distracted..." Wonder glanced to the side, her ears tilting a tad. As soon as she had heard about Boz being injured, all thoughts of food had completely vanished. She could feel the gentle stirrings of hunger in her gut now. "Would it be all right if I joined you?"
(Aw nice! Wonder shares his appreciation for feathers. She doesn't have as much experience with mint and pine needles, and doesn't think much about them, but I'm sure she would grow to love them.) (Box and Wonder. Lol. ^^ Big oop, haha. That would be funny. Wonder... ...... .. would be much less what do you call it.... tight lipped on many things. I feel like she would just say everything and anything and cry about it because she is confused and embarrassed and nothing makes sense anymore. Something like that. She might be a bit of a baby too- perhaps a tad playful in a kitten-like way.) (Haha. I look forward to it. ^^)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz's ears tilted a tad at her words as he watched her drag the magpie over. Hm, probably distracted by- ah, his accident he figures. He looks down to the magpie idly before putting his gaze on Wonder, eyes oddly open and welcoming. "That'd be perfectly fine." He says, giving her, not a smile, but somehow a cheery expression. His fur fluffed up some at the draft in the barn, the tom's green eyes glittering as he set his eyes on the bird. He chose it, partly because of the feathers obviously, and as a sort of show for Wonder. Some cats feel.. ah, better when their friends or kin eat the prey they caught-? Some sort of... caring instincts maybe? He just kept his hurt paw to his chest carefully as he leaned down to snuffle at the bird. "Wonder? Is your nest down here, or in the loft?" He asks suddenly, looking up from the magpie with a considering look as per the usual. Siting back up straight, glancing down at his hurt paw with a huff as he adjusts his balance for a moment. "If it's down here.. we could eat over there. I don't want to make a mess with the feathers." Well, and he could also put some of the feathers in her nest.
(He'd have a nest of feathers and pine needles if he could ,lol. And a random little thing- but I think Boz's scent would almost be like, breezy? He'd have that autumn smell, like the fallen leaves, or that after rain smell.) (Yeahh, if he got effected by it, he'd probably be to type to, either try and go about as he usually would as much as possible. Or he'd just... stare off into space with huge pupils, and talk about random stuff that he thinks about.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot) At his words, Wonder brightened, her ears perked and her tail lifting with a pleased curl of the tip. As he leaned over, she could hardly see his hurt paw in amongst all his fluffed up fur. Her grey and orange fur was flat and smooth, and very soft looking as it often was. As she observed him she noticed he seemed oddly cheery. Maybe Boz really liked magpie. She blinked out of her thoughts at the sound of her name. She glanced away for a short moment, her ears tilting. Oh dear... She keeps getting carried away studying his unique expressions today. She returned her gaze shortly after, drawing her full attention to his question. One ear tilted to the side thoughtfully at his question. She had a few different places she liked to go. A couple were in the loft, but there were a few down here. Not all of them were actual nests, some were just a temporary resting places~ places where she would sit and watch everything unfold around her. With his paw it would probably be better to be somewhere comfy. She looked around the barn as she thought, her head swivelling this way and that as she weighed the positives and negatives of each location. It would be too hard to get through the tunnel in the bales with Boz's paw as it was. It would probably be best if they didn't have to climb over anything. Something not too far away would be preferable. Her head pointed in the direction of one of the stalls where the wooden gate was slightly open. The gate had wooden planks running horizontally across with gaps in between. It would be the perfect place where they would be out of the way and yet be able to observe the barn through the slats. "I usually sleep in the loft... but I think I know a place," she mewed at last. "One moment!" She reached forward and grabbed the magpie, before dragging it over to the stall at a light trot and slipping in through the opening in the gate. Inside were just a few odd and end objects the farmer had stored away. She set the magpie by the gate and lightly padded to the corner she had stowed away some peculiar yellowish pieces a while back. They were something she had found out by the dumpster a few moons back; it was luckily relatively untainted. The strange material sunk in when pressed and went back to it's original shape when released. It provided a cushy place to sit, much like the cushions back in the farmer's house. She pulled them out and arranged them in front of the gate. It didn't take long. Once she was satisfied, she dashed back to Boz at a quick yet easy pace, barely stirring the scattered straw beneath them. "It's ready!" Wonder told Boz, her eyes bright as she slipped back next to him, ready to help him over.
(Breezy Boz, buy now for 25% off at Wondermart today! Makes me think of air freshener. Ahem, though in all seriousness, I could see Boz smelling something like that. :3 I am going to refrain myself from joking further about being able to see scents.) (Hehe. Wonder's rational mind might try to get her to hide away, unless she got into that strangely kittenish mood where she needs to be with someone~ to feel their presence. It'd be like her insecurities all coming out to the surface.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn
Boz watched Wonder perk up at his agreement, than turn to thoughtfulness- and then prance away with (his-) the magpie, off towards some place else in the Barn. Well. His eyes, and head, follow where she goes until she disappears from view, and comes back just a moment later. She looks rather pleased, which in turn, makes him rather pleased as well. If she's cheery about something, usually it's worth being pleased about. When she slipped by next to him, he got to his paw's easily enough, only leaning against her for a moment before he hopped a tad, and got his balance again. "Thank you- and.. what did you get ready?" He asks in a mild tone, already following the molly to the place she'd gone to and from. He looks up with a hint if curiosity at as they pass through the opening in the gate, almost tripping- before catching himself, leaning against Wonder for a moment before he get's his balance again. He ignores the slip up easily, and sets his attention to the little corner where some very..... questionable- square things are. He just lets Wonder lead them, the tom hesitant before stepping up onto it, and settling down. "It's.. what is this?" He asks, ears perked curiously, his uninjured paw pressing up and down on the.. weird yellow square things. Whatever they may be. His attention is thoroughly taken by it, ears tilting. It.. has a bit of an odd texture on his paw pads, but it's soft and squishy, which is generally good. And it's comfy. Which is also good. But what is it? (Breezy and Confused Boz is back again folks! Get the limited addition breezy pine needle scent, mixed with pure confusion and curiosity. And now I'm kinda wonderin' what Wonder's scent might be like xD) (Yeah, I can see that! Boz's insecurities- well, they're definitely there, just not in the way they usually might be. They're more.. buried very deep under there more as thoughts than what he sees as insecurities. If that makes sense?)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder helped him to his paws and began walking at his side toward the stall. "You'll see," Wonder responded with a twinkle in her eye. Her mouth was curled such a way that it was clear she was trying to hold back a smile. Would Boz know what the yellow squares are? She wouldn't be surprised if he did. They came around the edge of the gate and Wonder felt Boz's weight shift before she saw it. She stepped outward to brace herself just in time, and for a moment she wondered what would have happened if she had fallen over. The young molly glanced at Boz to see if he was all right, but the fluffy tom was already taken in by the yellow squares before them. With a soft affectionate huff and a smile, she led him at a more gradual pace toward the squares and let him settle down atop of them. She perked her ears when he seemed to be about to explain what it was, but when he asked about it, she stared blankly at him for a moment. He... didn't know what it was? She blinked out of her stupor and her ears tilted a bit as she dropped her gaze to the cushiony material. "I- I'm not sure. I found it out behind the farmer's den one day. It reminded me of the material the farmer had on many of his sitting places, so I kind of... brought it here," she explained, sounding almost nervous as she did. Her ears tilted further back and she averted her gaze down to the side, as if she was a bit ashamed at what she had done. She watched her tailtip as she curled and uncurled it repetitively.
(Say hello to foam. XD I was trying to think of something soft you'd see laying around. With working on some stuff, scraps of foam are a byproduct, I think.) (Lol, dunno if I'd want to smell like confusion and curiosity. XD I think she would smell like fresh sweet grass, maybe with a musty tinge from all her hiding away. However, since she is hiding away less, she might not smell as musty. I could see her smelling vaguely like flowers in the growing seasons~ not overpoweringly so, just a faint whiff.) (Thoughts can be scary sometimes. Those wild things can be like little children running around, giggling and laughing and yelling and being noisy. Do you dare try to get these children in line? Is it possible? Yes. Thank God it is. Most of the time. Some of the time..? ;3 I need to stop joking around.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The Barn
Boz's curiosity peaked, so much so he almost didn't notice the.. ashamed look, and scent coming from Wonder. Pausing in his curiosities, the tom tilted his head, ears perked in a lively manner. "Twolegs have things like this?" He asks casually, not able to keep himself from pawing some at the... yellow squishy block. "That's smart. It's comfortable.. and it seems like it holds warmth well." He adds, and he's not lying just to make her feel better. Well, he is trying to make her feel better, but it also does hold warmth, and shapes, like the memory (foam) of a body or something of the other on it. Scooting over some, he gestured for her to come on over and sit by him, his tail twitching, mirroring her motion in an odd manner. "We can share the magpie? If you'd like. There's enough for the both of us, if you're inclined." Boz says, tail curling around himself neatly, settling over his one uninjured paw. He glances down to his hurt paw, and idea coming to mind. Carefully, he sets his paw down, laying it gently on the soft, almost moss feeling surface. Oh, that's.. that's nice, his paw doesn't tinge too much when touching it, even when holding some of his weight while sitting. No more almost tilting to the side when he's sitting then, that's nice. His ears tilt as he stares at his paw, and almost relived expression on his face. Holding his paw up constantly isn't particularly fun. Glancing back up at Wonder, shaking the expression off a moment later, waiting for her response.
(Yes! Something the great sage Boz doesn't know about xD And anything he doesn't know about, he will.) (And that makes sense- Boz has the earthy sorta scent, always a autumny. It warms up some in the greener seasons, but he's that fresh breeze on a warm day that balances it out.) (Pfttt- that.. makes weird sense actually xD Boz's thoughts, while normally sorted (mostly-), imagine all those random thoughts just... scattered like a tornado through a library.)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) "Yeah," Wonder affirmed, lifting her head to look at him again. Her ears perked when he began to compliment it. "It does, doesn't it?" A little more energy entered her voice. She was glad that he liked it. Some of her shame flitted away, and nabbing the cushy scraps began to feel a little more worth it. She perked as he gestured for her to join him. With a delighted chirrup, she hopped down beside him, landing surprisingly gently despite one would expect from such a jump. The foam beneath Boz barely shifted. She kneaded the fluff, careful not to tear it, marvelling at the cushy feeling and thinking back at the times she dwelt within the farmer's den. He didn't like it very much when she got onto these cushions, but sometimes she would when he wasn't looking. It was one of her few disobedient moments. She peered at Boz, and her tail wiggled happily in curving waves when she saw him set his paw down in relief. She blinked when he suddenly looked in her direction, and then she remembered that he had asked her a question. "Sure! Lets," Wonder quickly agreed with a small happy grin. She reached forward with one paw and hooked the bird before them, dragging it closer so they could easily reach it. She held it firmly with one paw before stretching her head forward. With careful, deft movements of her teeth, she began the process of plucking the feathers. She set them to one side for now. Perhaps she could make a extra comfortable nest for Boz tonight with these. That would surely make it more comfortable for his paw, and it might boost his spirits a bit. She peered at him through the corner of her eye as she plucked another batch of black feathers. He already did seem more chipper than he had back when she had first discovered him. It appeared that it would take a lot more than that to keep him down. Wonder dropped the feathers on her growing pile and smiled softly. She hoped to become strong like Boz someday.
(Someday, someday will say: Only the great sage Boz knows.) (Very nice. ^^ Autumn is always so beautiful, and can smell quite nice. In terms of season, Wonder would be a mixture of springy and wintery.) (Random facts spilling out. Did you know-)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz felt a tinge of relief at Wonder's switch from ashamed to more up beat, his shoulders dropping just a tad when she sat next to him. Wonder is a good cat, considerate unlike quite a few he's met. He's happy he can return some of that consideration, it's common sense really, to just be polite, so he does. The tom's green eyes landed on the magpie Wonder dragged closer, watching as she started to pluck the feathers. Not wanting to sit back and watch, he carefully helped, making his own little pile on the opposite side of hers. It took a minute before they got them all, but considering they've both done it often before, it wasn't too difficult. The fluff of feathers in his mouth gets drowned out by the suddenly sharp, iron, and delicious scent of the magpie. Boz makes sure to nudge his pile of feathers away a tad with his muzzle, not wanting to get any of the remnants of the prey on them. His ears tilted, letting Wonder take the first bite before he sunk his teeth into himself. It was worth the wait. He gave Wonder a pleased look, one ear tilting to lay flat on his head, the other still straight up at a sharp point. "We should both go hunting again, once my leg has healed, of course." Boz suggests, licking his teeth. He and Wonder work well together, he can plan, she can do. They can both do both, but when each is more adept at certain things, putting them together makes it better. Again, common sense. The tom's tail flicked, and idea coming to mind after remembering that one morning with the ghastly, shimmering snow that had been by the Barn's entrance that Wonder showed him. "I found something you might like to see. It's near by the Barn- not a far walk at all. If you're.. alright with helping me walk to get there?" Boz says and asks, fully confident he could get there even on his own. It was a special burrow he'd found nearby he thinks Wonder would be fascinated by just as much as he was.
(Yes, some day.. he shall know how the universe was created- lol.) (And yeah! You can buy the Wonder and Boz scent of Autumn and Spring, 10% off for the holidays, lol.) (Boz knows either the most important stuff, or he knows the most random facts.) (And Happy Thanksgiving ^ ^)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) The first bite of magpie was a satisfying reward after their plucking. When it came to eating birds, the time it takes to defeather them worked to build up the anticipation for the meal~ and often times it made the delicious taste all the more rewarding. A soft purr slipped out as she savoured her first bite. She glanced over at Boz and paused to give him a closed-eye smile. It had been even better with two of them working on the feathers, because the reward came even faster. Her ears perked and her eyes brightened at Boz's suggestion. "Sure! Sounds like fun," she agreed readily, giving her tail a little happy flick. Hunting with Boz really was fun. She loved to hunt and she loved spending time with her friend, so doing both at once was all the more enjoyable. Not only that, but they worked well together. They had caught so much last time. Wonder paused when Boz continued with another idea. Concern furrowed her brow, and her ears tilted back a tad. She glanced down at his paw. "Are you sure you should be going out today?" She hoped he wouldn't get the wrong idea. She was happy to help him, but she didn't want to encourage him into making his paw any worse. The young orange and grey molly was curious as to what he wanted to show her, but if it meant risking his health and safety, she was perfectly fine with waiting. But over the days she'd gotten to know Boz, she had noticed his tendency to not stay in one spot for too long. So if she refused to go while he was injured, would that make him unhappy? Would he be upset with her? He didn't seem to be the kind of cat to get upset very easily, but even so, Wonder couldn't help but wonder... He said it wasn't far. Maybe if they were careful, they could make it there safely.
(If there weren't so many nice cats at the barn, I might have made more of a point to dramatize Boz being her first friend. But I thought it would be good to leave that open. Instead he's the first friend of similar age. XD) (Lol. XD Becomes one of those prophecy-making members of Starclan.) (I'll take one of each. Is it on sale because it is off-season? hehe.) (Yas. Random facts are either just that, or can sometimes in certain occasions be quite valuable. Wonder loves his random facts. She may not always remember everything, but she likes the conversation and to think about things.) (Happy Thanksgiving! ^^ Thanks for brightening each day with these fun little stories.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnThe tom watched with an idle stare, his green eyes blinking in thought as he watched Wonder take her own bite. The feathers, plus the prey, was always worth it to him. Catching prey with more than one use generally is. Boz makes an affirmative, pleased, noise when she agrees for hunting, his tail twitching as she continued a few moments later at his other suggestion. He looks down to his hurt paw, a look of slight dejection on his face directed right at his injured paw, and a bit of annoyance his own clumsiness earlier before nodding. "Ah.. I should probably wait a few days, yes. I'm sure it'll still be there. If you want I could tell you where it is, if you want to go see it for yourself?" Boz adds, the partially black, and bleached white whiskers twitching as he takes another piece of the magpie. As much as Boz wants to show it to Wonder, and he's sure the ice won't melt.. well, if she wants to see it herself, he'd be happy to have her go see it, and talk about it once she comes back. It's true, if he wants his paw to get better, he'll have to be careful on it. He's just.. well, sitting still wasn't something he's a fan of when it's to do nothing but rest. And yes, it's resting to heal his paw, but nothing else is wrong. So. He has to sit around, doing nothing, but waiting for his paw to get better. He shakes the feeling off, and jus gives Wonder a polite, and appreciative blink. She's just trying to make sure he get's better, which he can't argue with whatsoever. So he won't. His ears perk up, the tom tilting his head, letting out a quiet little 'mrrrp', his tail twitching. "Oh. And then we could go see that icy pond you mentioned." Boz adds, trying to think, or at least determine the amount of time he might need for his paw. "It shouldn't take too, too long.. perhaps around a week or two for it to be completely fine? Maybe a few days before I can walk on it fully.." He mumbles idly, head tilting, and his whiskers twitching in thought.
(That makes sense- I'm pretty sure this is Boz's first friend his age as well!) (And hey! That was sort of an idea I was thinking of actually xD I was thinkin' of asking about that actually .w. lol. Maybe, maybe not, I thought it'd fit though, with him.) (Randomness, randomness. And Boz adores telling random facts to Wonder xD And he's got that one memory thing? Where he can remember a bunch of stuff.) ( Couldn't do it without ya!)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder let out a breath of relief that he wasn't pushing the topic. She didn't think she would've been able to directly turn him down. She smiled softly at him, a silent thank you in her gaze. She paused a moment at his proposal before she shook her head. "No. I'll wait so we can go see it together," she insisted. Going to see things together was much more fun than going alone. She felt like Boz would enjoy that more too. She loved seeing that look in her friend's eye when he went on to explain something to her. His appreciative blink assured her all the more that she had not overstepped her boundaries. Her heart warmed at his understanding self. "For sure," she purred. Her eyes widened a little when he mentioned how long it'd be. A week was quite a while. Surely he'd need to stretch out a bit in that time. Her expression brightened when an idea came to her. "Maybe if you're feeling a little better the next few days, we can visit the place you mentioned, since it's close. It really is close, right? Not across the farm or anything? Because if it's near the barn it might be a good place to go to in order to stretch out and regain some of your strength. That is how these things work, right?" Wonder only knew bits and pieces about sprains from the stories she had overheard being told. She hoped she wasn't too far off the mark, but she was sure Boz would correct her if she was.
(^^) (Hehe. When we plan out the entire life for a character.) (Wonder kind of remembers things. When she remembers things is another matter. She is also the kind of cat who can do something completely on autopilot and not actually recall what she did. Like changing nests one day. "Hey did you change Randomcat's nest?" Wait a moment, let me think. Uhhhhhhh... Or if someone is monologuing like crazy (and I mean like massive paragraphs of words), she will try her best to hear every word, but some of it may start going out the other ear.) ( )

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz felt a tinge of relief- and an idle cheeriness when Wonder says she'll wait to go with him. He enjoys it more, when showing things to someone, especially Wonder. While it's not just about the showing something he's found part- she's also just.. pleasant to be around generally, and she always likes to talk about the things they find. Their new things, interesting things- and she enjoys them just as much as he does. Plus that little tinge in her eyes is enjoyable, that's how he always knows she's actually enjoying- it tips him of some to what she's thinking. she His ears perking up, and swiveling a tad as he adjusts himself on the.. weird squishy thing. He glances back up to her after his other words, watching and listening to her intently. He perks up at that. He's been hurt enough times to know how the healing process works, and.. he's a bit annoyed he didn't think of that himself earlier with how intently he was thinking of his hurt paw. Welp, slipped his mind he supposes. Boz gives Wonder a small, excited look at her words, nodding. "That's a perfect idea. And that's right, staying off of the paw the entire time could lead to it losing some of it's strength." He says, her own explanation was perfect already, so he refrains from adding more than he needs to. Well. Actually no, he's not very good at refraining from doing that, words already out of his mouth in a pointed manner. "If you stretch it too early, you'll hurt the muscle more, so it's good to wait until you can put your weight on it partially before stretching it more. I've- I've figure that out after the first few times." He says, giving a bit of an awkward grin. It's not like he means to get himself hurt, he just.. jumps a lot. Everycat does it. Himself just.. a lot.. more. Shaking his head with a.. small sneeze? He perks up, waiting for her to take another bite of the magpie, his tail coming by to brush against her side in an appreciative manner. He pauses, realizing he hadn't answered her other question yet. "And yes- it is near the Barn. It's just around the back, and about just past the fence." He says, trying to get his thoughts on track. He got a little distracted. "I think you'll like it, it'd be better to go see it.. either in the morning, or at down, when the sun is setting, and the sky has the color of flowers." He says, tone almost wistful.
(Pfft, our heads just don't stop thinking, lol.) (I feel that tbh xD Boz, while sometimes gets distracted in his own head, can listen intently for hours if it's something he finds interesting. But he'll make sure to speak up some himself, he'll always put his thoughts and opinions out there.) (Sorry if this seems a little sloppy? I'm writing this while tired, but inspired! xD)

Crystal with Kuta Myst The molly nodded. She wasn't hungry yet. Perhaps we can stop when we get there. They were making good progress; Crystal wasn't ready to stop either. What would they find in the caves? "I can't be sure." Would they find the answers they sought? There was no way to be certain. The two cats could enter the caves and be welcomed to cobwebs and eerie silence from the enclosed space. Or they could find answers, this puma that the ancient cats of Kuta's dreams spoke of. "We can only hope, I suppose. A better question is, what do we do if we find what we're looking for?"(Hello all, life is so busy I've been meaning to get a reply up here. I believe this is the only response I owe?)

(Hey Blue! No worries! A lot of us have been busy these days. ^^) (And a premature warning for December~ I may gradually become super poofy and inactive that month, especially as it approaches Christmas. That includes the first week of January (New Years!). Lots of prep and attention required for family events! ^^ I will try to drop in once in a while though.) WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder perked as Boz perked and agreed. She was relieved and glad that she had got it right. Boz seemed to pause almost unnaturally, and Wonder peered at him with curiosity. It didn't take long before he continued. She couldn't help but smile a little, her whiskers twitching in amusement. Nevertheless, she leaned forward in interest, her ears angling forward. She listened closely, hanging off of every word and nodding as he finished. It would be important information to know if this ever happened to her or someone else she knew. She pulled back when he finished, and gave him a sympathetic smile in response to his awkward grin. "I suppose that'd make you very experienced on the subject," she mused. One might think he would have learnt by now, with how many times he had apparently gone through this. Based on that fact, it was unlikely that she could say anything to change his mind. All she could do was encourage him to be safe, and when he wasn't, she'd be there for her friend and help him get back to his paws. He had already done the same for her. It was the least she could do. She turned back to the magpie and took another bite, her ear twitching as she chewed. It was still warm, but had cooled significantly since the last bite. It never would have cooled this fast in the summer. Her eyes brightened at his use of wording, and she lifted her head, pausing a moment as she pictured a colourful sky~ one that looked like a field of flowers. She finished her bit and licked her lips. "It sounds wonderful!" She paused, a strange look crossing her face at her unintentional use of words, and dipping her head a bit in embarrassment. She glanced down at edge of the cushion on her other side, her ears tilted back a tad. "How about the evening? A final stretch before you lay to rest?" she suggested, her voice quieter. As a cat who used to stay awake through many a night, Wonder often felt the most alert as night drew near. She shifted her head and risked a peek at Boz.
(3 generations later... XD) (Wonder doesn't always know what exactly she thinks about things, so she'll often listen more than she speaks. After an hour or two of listening to nonstop words, her brain will start fazing out. If she is really interested in the topic, she may be able to focus longer.) (No worries. It looks great! I feel like that sometimes. ^^)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light ) Location // The BarnBoz's ears flicked in a still slightly awkward amusement, his ears perking up in rapt attention moments later. He watched carefully as she took a bite of the magpie, his thoughts idly thinking of the wings birds have. What makes them capable of flying, simply.. their wings? Do they flap them at specific times to be lifted by the wind? But what about days when there's now wind? He's seen those buzzing birds who's wings beat so fast you can't even see them- they almost seem to hover more than fly. Maybe the higher you are, the windier it is..? Boz pauses, eyes looking over the wings of the magpie with a curiosity, leaning down after Wonder to nose at the bird's wings. Their feathers must help in some way, because he's not seen any bird with simply fur or hair like almost everything else. Every bird, or flying creature, has feathers.. His ears perk when Wonder responds to his other words, tail twitching, and a small little twinge of an amused look on his face. At her look of embarrassment, his tail leans over to graze hers, and he makes the little grin on his face a bit more visible. It was amusing, nothing to embarrassed about. Boz gives a nod at her next words, that.. sounds good. His thoughts blink back to the flowery sunset, full of colors almost nowhere else. He gave her a subtle smile, his whiskers twitching. "That sounds wonderful." Boz responds, ears pointed in amusement. Boz has always stayed up late, and woke up earlier. What his mind prefers, his body tends towards, so he's not complained. Plus.. he's always been able to run perfectly fine with little sleep, his body seems to not need much for some reason. Boz gives Wonder a considering look for a moment before he leans over, and gently bumps his forehead against her shoulder. "A question, feathers, or moss?" He asks, head tilted. He has the sudden (wonder)ing if Wonder's ever even really used moss before.
(And three more later- lol) (Boz isn't normally too physically affectionate, only a bit, but I think he'd maybe try a bit more with Wonder. I think maybe he thinks it'd get intentions across a bit better, if that makes sense? And if Boz ain't interested in a topic, he'll just stare blankly, nod on occasion, while trying to listen, than get distracted on how plants even survive if they can't eat food-?) (Thanks '^^)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) As Boz's tail brushed against hers, Wonder blinked first in suprise, then in appreciation. Her early embarrassment quickly faded, gradually replaced by an amused look matching Boz's. It had been unintentional this time, but it was always a good feeling to make someone else smile~ or at least something close to one. Her ears flicked happily before she took another bite. She looked out through the bottom gap in the fence, watching the barn cats go about their daily life. She felt at ease. She had a comfy cushion, a good view, good food, good company; it was more than she could ever hope for. Her tail tip twitched contentedly. She paused at Boz's next question, not looking at him right away. She chewed thoughtfully, her brow furrowed in confusion. Feathers or moss? What did he mean? For what? Was he asking her which she thought was better? Both were soft~ at least she heard that moss was soft. Both could be used for nests. Swallowing her mouthful, she looked back over at Boz. "You mean which I like better?" she asked, her head slightly tilted and her expression still thoughtful. "Well... I do like feathers, but I wouldn't want to have a nest of only feathers. There needs to be something to keep it all together, right? On the other hand, moss... I've never slept on a nest of moss before, but I've heard that cats will do that in the forest. I wonder how much different it is from sleeping in hay," she mused aloud, aware that she wasn't really answering the question~ whatever that question was. She honestly wasn't sure how to answer such a question.
(XD) (Aw. <3 Wonder'll appreciate that. For her, a touch is like a reminder that she exists~ that other cats "see" her. She's the type that takes a long time to be more forward in that area, but will grow in accordance with the other- as long as it's not too fast. So that's just perfect. ^^ Lol. Yes, the joys of a wandering mind.)

Boz w/ Wonder (Light) Location // The BarnBoz's thoughts were shifted from wondering what she might like more, to if she's ever felt moss, to she's never felt moss. His tail flicked, looking over her inquisitive expression, his ears perking at her musing. " I suppose if you covered this.. material in feathers it could work well enough." He said to one of her first queries, his tail brushing over the odd, slightly flaky, most likely twoleg material. "I've slept on moss plenty of times." He starts, thinking back to the many, many, many- the many times he's slept in the forest, in a random nook Spackle or Zee, or on occasion Lada have partially claimed. Moss.. feels more sturdy, and comfortable than hay nests. To him anyway, but if he'd had to really choose, he'd have a mix of hay, moss and feathers. "Moss is good, it's soft, comfortable. But if I had to truly choose, I'd do a mix of them all. Hay traps heat well, more than moss. Moss is more comfortable, and sturdy, and doesn't poke as much. And feathers are soft, and add a layer of a more scent grabbing material. So even if you've left for a long while, a cat who finds it will still know the nest is yours." He explains carefully, tail twitching as he goes. It is a hard choice, but he could do without hay more than he could moss. Moss is easier to acquire in nature, which is a plus. It's not like he's stumbled upon bales of hay while out and about. That's not to say it couldn't happen, but with his knowledge, he feels he's reasonable to doubt such an encounter. He looks towards Wonder, tail tilting oddly. "We should try to find some moss, for a nest. So you can figure out which you'd like better." He suggests, fully willing to wait however long he needs to for an answer between feathers and moss. "Think of moss and feathers as an add in to the hay, if that helps. And choose which one you feel makes the nest better." He adds, glancing down at the magpie, and leaning down to take one more small bite, to make sure he leaves the last bite for Wonder. He decides to keeps his wonderings on birds from being spoken out loud just yet. No need to overwhelm, even if he's very, very curious as to her opinion on it. Maybe after the moss vs. feathers experiment. His ears tilt a tad, eyes widening. "Ah, only if you'd want to." Boz adds a bit clumsily, realzing he might've come across a bit forceful. He hadn't even asked if she'd want to.
(Definitely, I get that! It makes a lot of sense for her character. And one of these days, we gotta get some one on one Zee and Wonder to see how that interaction would go xD)

WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz ( soot ) Wonder glanced down at the cushy material beneath them and pawed the edge lightly. She had never thought of putting feathers into it. One of her claws snagged the material and made a small tear in it. Concern crossed her face. Would it really be okay to stick feathers into this delicate stuff? It might make it more soft and breathable, but would it ever be possible to return it back to the way it was? She snapped from her thoughts at Boz's voice, and her concerned look vanished. She peered at Boz when he spoke, her wide eyes curious about what he was going to say next. He spoke of the moss, telling her how he had slept on it many times. He spoke of its benefits and how a combination of moss, hay and feathers would make a nice nest. She wasn't sure what a scent grabbing material would be. Maybe something like this cushion. Her ears perked a little at the suggestion. "Of course I would! I think I'd like that," she mewed with a subtle shine in her eye; it was the look she got when she thought about trying something new, a combination of excitement and nervousness. Moss was from the forest. She knew that much at least. That was primarily where it grew, right? She also planned to someday head out with Boz and be able to see what was behind all the amazing stories she heard. Maybe with Alice too, when she felt she was ready. So when she and Boz did head out, it'd be the perfect time to check the moss out. "Soft and sturdy does sound quite nice. Maybe we could bring some back and try that combination you mentioned. With feathers, hay and moss," she suggested, perking a tad at the idea. Though optimistic, she was aware of the niggling worries in the back corners of her mind. The thoughts told her not to go~ that it would be dangerous. They worried that her optimistic thoughts might not be able to hold when she was actually out there in the wilds. What if Boz wanted to go before she was ready? What if she panicked? What if Boz grew tired of her because she was unable to go to places that were exciting enough? As these thoughts flitted through her head, her eyes became unfocussed and her perkiness faded a little, her ears tilting down the slightest bit. --- (Definitely. XD) (Trying out fonts. Let me know if any are too hard to read.)
