A few things I remember: random-fic era (You know, the Tiggerstar and wafflez crap?), the years in which people would make things based of Starkits prophecy, and people reacting to their old fics. No idea if this is helpful
Users I remember: Chasmheart, not sure if Moonkitti moved here but she was there, Mom's spagetti, I'll think of more later...

I was reading through the forum history and noticed the user Blondstar was credited as the sole creator of LightningClan - Clan of the Thundering Skies. I just wanna add that this isn't true! It was actually co-created by myself and Blondstar, and I played their first deputy, Cinderstrike. Some drama went down between Blondstar and I regarding Cinderstrike being kicked from the position of deputy because I took an unexplained absence for a week or so and I ended up leaving the Clan, but Blondstar and I eventually reconciled later.

When signing up, the forum required you to send in your birth certificate to activate your account(to prove you were 13 or over). My parents thought that was a weird requirement(9 years later, I think so too. My first job didn't require my birth certificate). Thus, I never made an appearance on the forums, though I did lurk a lot. There were a lot of fanclans.

Well you can't forget the great Gore War on the art forum, where artists drew mildly gory things to protest the mods losing their minds over a little blood, in a book series about cat murder, probably around 2010-11.

This is pretty cool that it is being revisited. I joined the old forum in 2014 and hung mostly in the Fan Fic section but I remember the uproar about "killing cats" being a no no all of a sudden and one day came in to find my Fic NEW BLOOD-Born of Smoke & Fire had been deleted by someone tho nobody could figure it out. OMG I was infuriated after all that work. I think I had up too Chap 9 done by then. VERY FEW cats actually died in my fic until later chapters like 14 and 15.
I am thankful I write everything up in Wordperfect before posting so I had all the text, but had to reformat, and needed help with recoding(Thanks to Lynxleap and Brownie!) and repost everything. I think that was my most memorable upset on the Forums. Interesting to read about things that happened before I ever heard about the Forums.
I have posted other items like contest entries etc from the old forums elsewhere, but if you guys want them for the Fan Fic section I'd be happy to post where you need them. Those are my only contibutions in the 2 years I was there. (Before moving here with everyone)

My brain just blanked on two of them...
One of them had a name that started with One, I think?
And the other had some Olympics type thing?
Anyway, Winterstorm and Falconfeather were the creators of Let’s Torture Warriors. Which was practically the most popular spoof and also unbeatable.
There also are many others as I’m likely failing to mention due to either not remembering names or even the names of their works.
Rainpath117 also wrote a spoof called HyperClan.

One thing I remember from my time on the forums was the flame wars, where people would just get in massive arguments and just go after people. Typically it was just the clans from the forums that hated each and they just got into massive arguments that would result in many users being banned. I also remember there was one time that some user managed to get a ton of members of Mega Bone Clan banned in an argument. I remember one user of the clan made a ton of really nice artwork. And of course the classic kit stealing that occurred

Only thing I can think of, because it has been so long! I joined when I was like 13 or 14....and I'll be 23 this year. But I remember a clan named RavenClan. It was relatively popular. Pretty sure everyone knew about it. We had many generations, many pages. You would have to get more info from users Jayflight, Lilysong, and Scarpath if they are even still around. I swear it was one of the most popular Clans involved. Good times...Good times. The original leader, a user by the name of Grayfeather, had passed away. Never heard from again. And we kept the Clan going on in her memory. I am still in contact with a lot of people from the Clan and we've got family trees and art...and all kinds of memorable stuff.
