(( Since it might take me a smidge to post here, I'll just reply to questions here first. My initial thoughts were that they arrived as the patrol returned to collect their dead/after the battle. One of their tribe mates (the older Heir) are among the dead left behind, likely having joined the battle when they were going by and saw what was happening. So, ya know, they can haul the body back if you want lol As for roleplaying, it's probably fine to just roleplay it here to avoid confusion and we can better set up events in the future. A lot of early tribe stuff is probably just implied until we want the clans to actually star to becoming aware of the tribe's presence.
Right now, they dont have a lot of information on the rogue group (after all, they're just a bunch of random loners before all this so not much reason to pay attention to them), but with everything here, they'll probably start wanting to gather more information on everyone. Go with waht you guys think is best. ))

(Yeah I reckon we'll prbs just hide in the shadows and then take the Heir back to camp through the tunnels once the patrol have gone xx)
Wind crept along behind her mother as the two of them made their way along the curve of the hill, keeping to the dappled shadows of the long bracken and making sure to test the air for any sign of Galeclan cats. Wind's eyes - wide open now - scanned the horizon unrelentingly, snapping onto any sign of movement or sound. Now that they had left the shelter of the tunnels she was once again on edge, and she much preferred the times when they would simply listen from below while remaining safely out of sight. It was only a second after Lichen's warning that the smell hit Wind as well. Blood. And fresh at that. The young she-cat's ears flattened onto her head as she tried to keep her breathing calm - nothing like this had ever happened on one of their missions before, and it was too late for Lichen to give any verbal instructions. She stayed frozen in place as the older cat slunk forwards.
( bluewonder dude I am absolutely loving rping these guys as well! I'd say they're one of my favs at the moment (tied with Nettlefang lol). And not knowing what to do is part of the fun - i'm finding it rly exciting to do something new ) Having made her way back to their agreed meeting spot, and with her mole lying at her feet, Mist waited patiently for her mate to come back from his hunt. The sun, a rare sight in the past few moons, shone warmly on her face and she closed her eyes in relaxation. Lightning widened his stance as his mentor turned to face him, digging his claws into the ground so that he'd be able to react quickly to a lunge from his opponent. He gave Pebble a curt nod signalling that he was ready.

Although unbalanced, Bramble managed to keep from toppling off the rock in a dangerous fashion, though he hardly stayed on the rock regardless. Rather, he awkwardly slid down the stone with a soft 'plop' as his bottom landed harmlessly on the dusty ground, his claws having made a long but inoffensive scratching noise as he slid down. "You could watch where you're going..!" the small tabby whined as he glared up at his brother who he noted was showboating for their only now returning father.
Rolling back onto his paws properly, the kit shook the dust from his pelt and regained his balance about as well as a cat his age would before trying to scramble back up the stone, actively ignoring the words of their 'sitter', though perhaps abusing the fact she was scolding his brother rather than him directly. Mountain's ear twitched as he heard the little mews of the kits currently bounding around camp, his step slowing as he seemed to reconsider the importance of taking Flight to the Den personally. After all, he made a rather quick note that Lichen was absent and in place of her was Sun. "Flight, You can go on to Stoneteller... But I will be speaking with him later regarding your behavior." The large tom explained, making it clear that any relief she may have felt in his absence would be short-lived if he had his way about it.
Breaking away from the heir, he stepped towards the little bundles of fur, the faintest purr in his throat. "And what a fierce cave-guard you are, Shift, but be careful you don't take out your fellow tribemates in the process." he replied, his gaze softening as he glanced between the two kits. "I hope you two haven't been giving Sun too much trouble." he added, with a lick over each kitten's head, flicking his tail in acknowledgement of the she-cat who'd taken the time to watch them in Lichen's absence. Storm • Tom • HunterLocation: Tribe Territory with Mistblu With the hunting trip over and his catches clenched in his jaws, Storm would eventually make his way back over the soft ground towards their meeting place. He paused as the she-cat came into view, however, briefly taken aback by how lovely she was, all the more glowing in the light of the sun. A purr rumbled in his throat beyond his ability to contain as he quietly picked his way over and deposited a pair of scrawny mice at their feet, far smaller and less appealing than the more appetizing and sizeable mole. "I think we can conclude you win this round." he replied with an amused tone, "Had myself some bad luck this time."

Sun that sets behind the mountain ( With Shift and Bramble)
The ginger molly padded near Bramble as she meowed: "Oh, dear Tribe of Endless Hunting! Are you ok after that fall, Bramble?" The prey-hunter in kit-sitting duty sighed in relief, as Mountain didn't complained about the kittens' mess. She looked at her littermate, Rock, leaving warriors' den and looking for something to eat
Rock that hits the ground (open, in prey-pile)
As the tom left the den, he looked for something to eat at the prey-pile. Maybe a frog? Hm, no. Maybe a lizard? The cave-guard picked a lizard and tried to remove its scales. Then, he scratched and broke his claw. "Ow!" He whispered. Luckily the claw didn't bleed. A great weakness of the tribe member was his weak claws that break easily. Rock left his broken nail to sharpen it later and continued to eat.

Eagle That Rides The Wind In prey pile, with Rock
Eagle headed over to the prey pile and deposited the three mice she had caught. She was pretty hungry herself, so she picked up a mouse to eat. 'Hi' she greeted Rock, noticing him picking out a lizard.

Rock that hits the ground (with Eagle near the prey-pile)
The gray tom answered: "Hello!". As the cave-guard looked at the entrance, he saw a patrol. "It was there a hunting patrol as I can see.." Rock said, with a flick on his ear. He stated: "However, there was no chance for joining. Guarding the camp is so difficult. At least I am happy with it." When he said, Rock gave a giggle of seeing his sister taking care of Lichen and Bramble.

Flight's tail shot up in excitement once more, and she thanked the Tribe of Endless Hunting that Mountain's kits were out playing at that exact moment. She raced over to Stoneteller's den before Mountain had time to reconsider his decision. Any bad news he brought about her later would surely be softened after getting to play with his two rambunctious tom-kits. Slowing at the entrance, Flight took a few tentative steps inside. "Stoneteller?" She called. "It's Flight. I was wondering if I could speak with you for a moment?" Shift, who usually did his best to look tough, couldn't stop the purr erupting from his core at his father's words. Though there was some chiding in it, he had called him a fierce cave-guard and licked his head-it was more than the little kit could have hoped for. Back on all four paws, he wriggled in excitement, fluffy tail lashing. "We've not been any trouble for Sun at all! She's let us play outside the nursery and we've listened to everything she said and have been practicing our hunting and fighting! We'll be ready to become to-bes soon!" Of course, Shift hadn't really been paying attention to the she-cat, and batting a pebble and tussling with your brother could hardly count as practicing to become to-bes, but to Shift, his own kit-like tall tales sounded pretty convincing.
Lichen that Creeps Across Cave Walls Galeclan Territory With Wind, blu Lichen was almost unconsciously aware of every pawstep she took, her moons of training and experience telling her body what to do. Each step was analyzed within a heartbeat- the sound the terrain would make when it landed, whether it was in a shadow, how much of a pawprint it would leave behind. Her emotions remained stable as well. Though the scent had originally caught her off guard, she wasn't afraid. Whatever border skirmish the clan cats got into hardly ever became problematic for the tribe, and though she worried for whatever cat was injured enough to cause that acrid of a blood-smell, there was a thrill of excitement threatening to speed her heart rate as well, that she would be able to report something of value to her tribe. She dampened all of these emotions, however, knowing as any whisper-seeker would that strong emotions such as fear scents could alert others to your location. Her nose informed her that whatever the smell was lie somewhere at the botton of the hill she was about to crest. She glanced back at Wind, feeling a rare moment of protectiveness for her daughter, and she considered for a heartbeat leaving her there in the protection of the tall grass. However, her desire to serve her tribe won out, as she cared more that Wind got to partake in this once-in-an-apprenticeship learning opportunity, whatever it might be. She motioned for Wind to join her, then crested the hill. Then Lichen did something that went against all of her training. Her breath caught in her throat with an audible gasp. Below her was a terrible scene. Bodies of cats sprawled in a scene of bloody fur and death. Ground was torn up around them from the struggle, a line of torn grass veering away, undoubtedly the trail of a Galeclan runner attempting to take a message back to camp. If that was the case, they could assume that a patrol would be by shortly, possibly in a full fighting force, and Wind and Lichen should make their assessment of the scene short. But it was the sight of the tribe's own Heir of Pointed Stones that had caught her breath. Laying among the bodies of the dead was their tribemate, their to-be leader.... dead. Lichen couldn't take time to mourn. She quickly slowed her now racing heart with a few breaths, then continued to take stock of the battleground, counting the bodies of the Galeclan cats, attempting to identify and commit to memory the smell of the cats she didn't recognize. When she was satisfied that she had committed all the details of the gruesome scene that she could to memory, she motioned for Wind to help her and she quickly raced into the open, grabbing the tribe heir and beginning to haul him towards the tunnel entrance.
(sorry for the wall of text, I just don't know when to pause when theres a lot to describe like this scene lol. I figure we can get them to get the body out of sight and then let them see the galeclan patrol that returns for the bodies blame Mossclan before we send these ladies home?
Also Bramble sliding down the lil rock pile was an adorable mental image, thank you for that. And poor Sun is just doing her best with this dysfunctional family lol)

((Lol, but they aren't giving too much work tbh))

Pebble Training with Lightning blu Seeing his apprentice was in position, Pebble rushed towards his apprentice, wondering which move Lightning would use on him. EagleNear fresh-kill pile, with Rock Shadowfire Hearing Rock's comment she meowed' I'm glad you're happy with being a cave-guard, but I've always liked hunting best.' Eagle couldn't imagine being a cave-guard, like her brother, she preferred being a prey hunter. ' There's nothing like the thrill of the hunt' she said cheerfully.' But I suppose you cave guards feel similar about your duties.' she conceded. She remembered how unhappy she had been when Pebble, became a cave-guard instead of a prey hunter, like her. But she had since gotten over that, there were still plenty of times she was able to spend with her brother.

Peak • Tom • StonetellerLocation: Stoneteller's Den with Flightbluewonder As Flight breached the entrance of the Stoneteller's den, Peak turned his head from the willowy form of Fern to meet Flight's gaze. "Ah, Flight. I had wondered where you'd scampered off to." he mused a loud at the sight of the young heir. He flashed a sign of dismissal to Fern from his laying position, of whom departed immediately, giving the Stoneteller and Fern their due privacy to speak. After all, there was no need for his daughter to be listening in on such things, though it wasn't as if he expected much trouble. Things were usually fairly calm all things considering, though he wasn't one to ignore the concerns of his tribemates regardless of their station.
"Come in, share your thoughts with me." he commanded, though his voice was relaxed and hardly sounded much like a demand, a twitch of his ear offering the place Fern had once been for the Heir to claim for herself. Bramble hardly seemed all that affected by his fall, now back on one of the lower stones that he and Shift were climbing about on. "Of course I'm okay, that was nothing..!" he retorted indignantly as if somehow offended that Sun would think a strong little fellow like himself would be hurt over such a simple fall. Although 'fall' in itself was subjective after his odd little slow slide downward. Regardless, it was difficult not to get caught up in Shift's little tales himself, perhaps a little excited to have Mountain's attention on them as well. After all, Kits were known to vie for a parents attention above all else at this age, whether it was a conscious choice or not. "And we'll be the best To-bes, better than all the rest!" The small dark tabby chimed in with his brother's confident statement, not wanting to be left out. A purr mixed with pride and amusement rumbled in Mountain's chest, simply happy enough the two kits were healthy and energetic as the yought to be at their age. They might not have been his first litter by any means, but he had always been known to be a big softy for his children regardless of litter regardless of the complicated nature of his relationship with Lichen and the rest of the Tribe. "Yes, yes, I can see you two are making good progress and you'll both make the tribe very proud. That just makes the time still left before you are old enough to be To-bes that much more important, be sure to keep practicing." he explained affectionately before adding, "And be sure to listen to your mother and your sitter, listening is the better part of helping your clan." He gestured toward the nursery upon Sun's words, expecting the small furballs to make their way back before Lichen returned.
Turning to Sun, his softness seemed to dwindle away to his normal composure, dipping his head gratefully to the she-cat. "Thank you for taking care of them in Lichen's absence." It was incredibly unorthodox for a Kit-mother to continue training a to-be before their own kits were old enough to become to-bes themselves, but Lichen had been given special clearance under the circumstances. Mountain may not have loved it but, perhaps it was better for her, he knew she wasn't particularly happy being couped up in the Nursery for eight long moons.

(hey Shadowfire , not sure if you noticed but Rock is with Eagle, not Pebble xx) With his mentor rushing towards him over the clearing, Lightning kept his cool until the cat was barely a tail-length away. He'd learnt this defense move near the beginning of his training and thought it would be a way of surprising the older Tom, who'd probably expect something fancy and higher skill. Leaping deftly over his mentor, he hit the ground and quickly turned on his heels and leaped again, landing on Pebble's back. Digging his claws into fur, Lightning held on tight, hoping that the surprise would make up for his lighter weight in comparison to the larger cat. If this was a serious battle, Lightning would take the opportunity to sink his teeth into his opponent's back, but seeing as this was training he kept his mouth closed. Having smelled Storm's arrival, Mist had opened her eyes and turned to watch her mate as he picked his way over to her and greeting him with an effectionate lick on the cheek. 'There's no prey too small with which to feed the clan.' she replied gently, not one to gloat about her success and wishing only the best for her clan. 'And if I'm not mistaken, I think Shift and Bramble are getting to the age where they'd love their own mice for dinner.' Of course, she was pleased that she'd won this game, and she couldn't help a small glimmer of pride from making its way into her eyes. 'Shall we head back?' Waiting behind her mother as she assessed the scene, Wind obidiently drew forwards once she was summoned. Her heart now racing uncontrollably, she hesitated slightly before the crest, fearful of what she would find below as the scent of blood grew stronger. The she-cat took a deep breath and rounded the hill with her mother, and her fear was instantenous and unavoidable as her eyes fell upon the scene below. She'd never seen a single body before, let alone the bodies of so many violently wounded cats who'd lost the fight for their lives. Her vision narrowed and all she could hear was the pounding of blood in her ears as she stood frozen to the ground. Her mind went blank. And then her eyes registered a familiar body - the body of the tribe's to-be Heir. Unable to move or hear, Lichen's command went unregistered, and instead she watching dumbly as her mentor raced down the slope. (no worries! It's always fun to read xx Yeah that plan sounds good with me!)

Flight gave a small blink of acknowledgement to Fern as she slid past out of Stoneteller's den before trotting over to take her place. The cool and still cave air felt comforting to Flight after her brief excursion in the mountains, and she momentarily forgot why she had come, instead happily settling into the spot and tucking her forepaws underneath her as though contented to stay a while. Her mind wandered for a moment- not out of disrespect to the Stoneteller, but perhaps due to a sense of familiarity with her leader, whether deserved or not. She let her hazel eyes gaze around the cave where Stoneteller made his home, taking in the crevices and moss patches with vested interest, though she had been in that same cave plenty of times before. After a moment, her gaze landed back on Stoneteller himself, drawing her out of her thoughts and back to the matter at hand. "There are two eagles making a nest in the mountains not far outside our camp." She stated bluntly. There was no reason to sugarcoat it, She had enough faith in Stoneteller's level-headedness to feel like he could handle the full weight of the truth, not that she typically softened bad news anyway. "Mountain went with me just now to confirm it." True to form, Shift once more rough housed with his brother in excitement, crouching and swatting at him lightly before racing down their small rock pile. "I'll listen even better than you do because I'm gonna be the most helpful to my clan!" He boasted to Bramble, echoing Mountain's gentle instruction. He gave one more beaming glance to his father before returning to Sun's care. He was somewhat disheartened at having to return to the nursery, but brightened up again at her words. He eyed the caught-prey pile and found what he was looking for- a stray bird feather from one of the previous catches. "I want to bring that feather with me!" He squeaked to Sun, pointing a small paw towards it.
Lichen that Creeps Across Cave Walls Galeclan Territory With Wind, blu Being more on the lean than poweful side, Lichen found herself struggling to pull the heir's body from the battle scene, and was all to aware of every heartbeat that passed, knowing a Galeclan patrol could be on their way. She realized Wind wasn't at her side and turned angrily around, when she noticed the stricken look and fear-scent rolling off of her. Lichen's hiss died in her throat as she realized how much harder the scene must be to take in to a young cat so unfamiliar with the cruelty of the world. She took a few furtive glances around then bounded over to her daughter, pressing her head against Wind's forehead and staring eye-to-eye with her with intensity in her green eyes. "Wind, focus. I need you." She hissed in barely a whisper, hoping the words would jar the to-be back to her, but keeping her instruction short. She held Wind's eyes for a moment before taking a step back to give her breathing room, and gesturing once more towards the body. As gruesome as it was, it would be worse to leave her tribemate in the paws of the clan cats who surely wouldn't give them a proper burial, and furthermore alert the clans to the tribe's existence.
(yeah that would definitely be traumatizing to a young cat lololol)

Shocked out of her stupor by Lichen's intense gaze and serious voice, Wind snapped back to reality and cast a nervous glance around her - terrified that the cats who'd caused such horror were bound to return any second. With her ears still glued to her head, she tried her best to shake off her fear and give her mentor a mew of affirmation, but finding that her voice had become stuck in her throat she gave a curt nod instead, looking once more to the body of their tribe mate below. The young she-cat started down the hill, unable to feel her legs but forcing herself to do her duty.

Bramble snorted, reacting with his own little swats as his brother continued his little 'assault' but came to a stop between Mountain's explanation and Sun's call. He felt a bit disheartened that they had to go back already but he wasn't about to argue, definitely not against their father who still was present at that. Carefully pawing his way down the rock pile, the young kit's eyes darted around the camp for something worth bringing back to the den with them, after all, he didn't want to waste the opportunity and he couldn't drag Mountain himself back into the Nusery.
Bouncing back and forth for several moments in search of something, he settled on a leaf that must have made it back to camp with one of the older cats at one point and scampered off to the nursery with his crunchy prize. Maybe when it warmed up he could get a newer leaf! Mountain watched the kits go about collecting their little toys before speaking again, "I'll visit a little later today, so don't give your mother too much trouble when she gets home." he called before regarding Sun once more. "When Lichen returns, let her know I will be stopping by the nursery this evening." the massive cat added, figuring it was best to warn Lichen of his arrival rather than springing his presence on her unannounced. They may have been mates but in many aspects, it was a rather... unusual union to put it kindly.
Now departing the she-cat, he made his way towards the stoneteller's den but rather than try to enter, he settled himself outside to wait for Flight to complete her discussion with the old cat. After all, he wasn't one to interrupt but he had a promise to keep whether Flight liked it or not and he was more than patient enough to wait until the more serious aspect of today's events had concluded. Storm • Tom • HunterLocation: Mountains with Mistblu An amused huff escaped the slender tom, though he certainly didn't pull away from his mate's affections. "Only good for hunting for the tiniest of mouths, oh woe is me." he teased, "But you are right, I doubt Lichen will mind seeing if her kits are ready for a real meal. One step closer to returning to duties fully, after all." Honestly, the cat wouldn't have been surprised if the second the kits were weened Lichen left the nursery all together. Not that he was judging, he assumed it would get quite tiring to be cooped up, even with the concessions that the Kit-Mother was granted. However, thought of the hard-working cat left his mind as Mist spoke once more, the calico tom nodding eagerly.
"Yeah, It'd be a bit embarrassing if we missed a proper hunting patrol because we were hunting." Storm chuckled to himself, that perhaps not being as uncommon a habit as he might have wanted to pretend. It was certainly getting around that time that such patrols were doled out and all that, though. "Although, it is much more fun to hunt with you than another." he added, bunting his noggin against her shoulder teasingly. Peak • Tom • StonetellerLocation: Stoneteller's Den with Flightbluewonder Despite the odd behavior that was common of the Heir, Peak seemed unbothered by the wait, his paws comfortably tucked beneath his chest as he patiently awaited the report from the young cat. After all, if it was worth reporting, he assumed it to be important enough for the cat to get to in her own time. Flight's tendencies to withhold information until the 'appropriate time' could be troublesome but if nothing else it assured he was only getting news that was of the highest priority. However, his brow furrowed silently as he heard out her brief but concise report, considering the threat with the utmost seriousness. He glossed over the nature of confirming it with the Cave-guard before it was mentioned to him, at least for the time being, that fact being overshadowed by the very real threat. Two eagles making a nest was a very concerning sign.
"That is concerning..." he murmured thoughtfully, hardly needing a detailed breakdown to realize that meant a very real threat of more eagles being born quite nearby. It happened now and again, of course, but... so close could certainly be a problem as their hunter's took advantage of the bounty that came with a new season. "Thank you for bringing this news to me. We'll need to organize a patrol of Cave-guards to deal with that issue, and soon." he explained, thinking over their somewhat limited number of cats that could safely take on the threat. Perhaps it was something that would sort itself out during a hunting trip -- catching eagles while hunting mountain prey not an uncommon tactic, but the risk of leaving it seemed far greater than the reward of letting it work itself out. "I'll speak with Dust upon his return regarding who to take and when." the sandy colored cat added with a light nod, closing his eyes pensively in a thoughtful pause, "Speaking of, have you seen him this morning? It's unusual for him to be gone so long without preparing the hunting patrols... Or perhaps I lost track of time again." ((Just calling the mega dead Heir Dust for now cause i did not in fact name them. LOL))

Sun that sets behind the mouintain (with Bramble and Shift, in the nursery)
"I can see that you both are ready.. So let's go!" The bright-ginger tabby said as she trotted near the nursery. The cat sat on a nest of the den, waiting the kits. While waiting, she reminded her own kit's days as she smelled the milk scent. Too much troublemaking, too much playing. And in the end of the day, she and her brother always slept peacefully.

Mist tilted her head and gave her mate a stern look, disliking the sarcastic stance he'd taken in response to her kindly intended words. Everything she said had been in earnest, and she didn't like it when other's twisted her words against her, even in amusement. However, Storm quickly moved on and so the moment passed. Brightening up at the idea of the kit's having their first real meal, Mist's attention drifted as she thought of the small bundles. 'They've become so msichivieous lately' Mist mewed happily, completely missing the Tom's comment about Lichen's desire to get out of the nursery. She herself would love to spend her spare moments with the two young kits. Brought out of herself by Storm's head butt, she laughed and rolled onto her side. 'Oh...,' she drawled out, a purr rising in her chest as she swiped at the Tom's legs, 'maybe the tribe can wait a bit longer... there's plenty for them to do without having us to worry about as well.'

Flight shook her head in answer to the Stoneteller. "No, I haven't seen him. He has been gone for quite a while." She tacked on the last sentence in reassurance to the old tom that he hadn't lost track of time. As a cat who could frequently lose track of time herself, she felt as though she could relate. "Perhaps he's just taking some extra time to explore or hunt." She piped up. She didn't realize that this was highly unlikely- that her fellow heir followed a much tighter schedule than she did and was always on time to arrange hunting and border patrols. Having had an older heir to defer the weightier matters of the tribe duties her whole life, Flight rarely considered the day to day tasks unless it was the topic of a lesson by Peak that day. Her mind wandered back to the eagles, and she found her ears pinning back in some amount of distress. She hoped that whatever the resolution was, that it didn't result in the loss of any of her tribemate's lives. She thought of her brother, Lightning. Though he might not be chosen for the task because of his youth, the fact still remained that he was training to be a cave-guard and would one day be sent on just as perilous a mission. She shifted on her paws, made uncomfortable by this thought. "The tribe has fought two eagles at once before, haven't they?" She asked Stoneteller hopefully. "Is it... is it really that dangerous?"
Shifting Ground from Tunnels Below Camp With Sun, Shadowfire Feather in mouth, Shift cast one last glance at his father before scampering into the nursery after Sun and Bramble. Honestly, Mountain's final words had already been forgotten- there was no hope of him remembering to alert his mother to Mountain's future visit. Instead, his mind was now racing with thoughts of becoming a to-be and then a full fledged member of the tribe. He batted at the feather, pinning it between his tiny paws before swiping it up into the air again. This time the feather landed right next to Sun's paws. Shift bumbled over to her to collect it, then sat next to her. With the excitement of leaving the nursery and seeing his father gone, he now began to feel exhaustion from the play session beginning to hit. He was still just a young kit, still prone to quite frequent naps. He gave a huge yawn and settled down onto his belly, looking up at Sun. "You're a prey-hunter, right? Is that because you're too weak to be a cave-guard?" He asked boldly. He wasn't sure what he wanted to be when he grew up, but he knew he didn't want to be a prey-hunter. "I bet you don't even have any good stories about hunting." He mumbled, growing drowsier, but hoping to hear a fun story before he fell asleep.
Lichen that Creeps Across Cave Walls Galeclan Territory With Wind, blu Grateful that Wind was finally moving, Lichen bounded back down to the scene below. The wind had changed direction, bringing a fresh smell to her- a Galeclan patrol was approaching, and fast. Nodding to Wind, she grabbed one side of Dust's fallen body, hoping Wind would follow suit and grab the other, and began to haul the heir out of sight of the terrible battle. It would be disastrous if Galeclan caught sight of them now- it would look as though the Tribe had staged an attack on the Galeclan cats. The new patrol would most likely attack Lichen and Wind- and who knew if they'd make it out alive. They had to get out of there. Tribe of Endless Hunting, give us strength! She prayed. Picking up her pace, she continued to drag her heir's body until they got to the outcropping of rock that hid the tunnel entrance. They had barely gotten Dust hidden in the shadows when she heard voices behind them. Ducking behind the rocks, she peered out around them, noticing Greystar, the leader of Galeclan, along with a few other warriors she didn't recognize. She didn't dare breathe, desperately hoping their earthy smell and the overpowering scent of blood was enough to hide the scent of Wind and herself. She heard the despair in their voices as they came upon the dead patrol, and heard someone hiss about Mossclan. Thankfully, the tribe's presence seemed to be hidden still. But what actually happened here, and why?

Sun that sets behind the mountain (With Lichen and Bramble)
"Of course, I have!" The she-cat purred. The cat wasn't even offended, she knew that teasing was healthy at this age. The she-cat told: "When I was a to-be, I almost got carried away by a hawk!"

Wind With her body working on autopilot, Wind bent down and grabbed hold of Dust's fur as she helped Lichen half carry, half drag the body of the young heir to the shadows of the tunnel entrance. Her mind, unable to proccess that she was holding the body of her friend, had simply gone blank, and her overwhelming fear from just a moment before had subsided into a dull ache. Not a second too soon, the pair had just made it behind the rocky outcropping when the sound of voices was carried towards them on the wind. Hardly able to hear, Wind simply huddled against Dust and pressed her nose gently against fur that was just now losing the last of its' warmth. The brown molly closed her eyes, relying completely on her mother's instructions to lead her forwards.
(Sorrryyy I know I'm not interacting much with Lichen atm but I feel like poor Windy is gonna be traumatised for sure so just gonna let you carry the both of us )

Shifting Ground from Tunnels Below Nursery
Shift's sleepy eyes grew wide in shock. "A hawk?? What happened? Did you fight it?" He blinked blearily at her, trying to imagine the ginger she-cat with whatever a hawk looked like. He had heard a cave-guard say it was kind of like a big dark bird, but his imagination ran wild. Lichen that Creeps Across Cave Walls Galeclan Territory
When it appeared that the majority of the short conversation from the Galeclan patrol was over,, Lichen directed her daughter to help her move the heir's body and themselves into the tunnels. It was a laborious and terrible task, trying to bring their fallen friend back home through the narrowest parts of the passageways, but the two she-cats were managing ever slowly.
(You're okay! Seems very much in character lol! And sorry, I don't right now, Hawky!
My brain isn't coming up with a good post for Lichen right now, so I'm going to leave that and come back to it soon lol, sorry. )

Sun that sets behind the mountain (in nursery, Shift and Bramble)
The ginger cat told: "When I was a to-be and had much boldness on my chest, I made a challenge to myself. Catch a hawk alone. Hawks always have to be caught with two or more cats. I went out of camp. Spotted a hawk. And.." The she-cat did a moment of silence, just to make more mistery.

Wind As Wind and Lichen dragged the body of the heir through the tunnels, the she-cat had the terrible impression that time had stopped moving. The drops of water that hung from the cold stone ceiling refused to fall, the glimpses of light shining into the tunnels were at the same angle as they were hours before, and the rouge earthworms that decorated the path seemed as though they had died and fossilised long before she was born. All she knew was the silence of the tunnel, and the sound of breathing as they struggled onwards.

( blu sorry, I just saw it yesterday and planned to reply but forgot, I'll reply now!) Pebble Training, with LightningPebble was surprised by Lightning's use of a more basic move, he had expected his apprentice to try something more advanced to impress him. But he could see the logic in his apprentices' choice and was impressed. 'Ok, you can get off now' Pebble told his apprentice. ' That was great!' Pebble told Lightning when he had dropped off his back' That was a great tactic you used, even the most basic moves can be very useful in a battle.' EagleNear the Fresh-kill pile, with Rock ShadowfireEagle purred in response to Rock's comment. ' Yes, every duty is an honorable one'. She began grooming herself and then looked up once more' Any plans for the rest of the day' she asked him.

Rock that hits the ground (with Eagle, cave clearing)
The gray cat thought for a while, and answered: "Maybe, joining a patrol would be great." He just woke up, a patrol can give him more energy, or not? Incidents in patrol never occur so often, but it's better avoid than doing nothing.
