The fact I write way more in here just proves I'm really scared of talking to people, it's a forum I know it's the point but, I always get what people say wrong or they do because I can't be straightforward, or I just talk too much and then I'm rambling about everything and anything and then I just keep going, or I do the opposite and say something too straightforward, I just find emojis cringe when it's with randoms but they might find cringe x) XD  ;D so I don't use them either so it collapses in a huge line of awkward answers and I just can't talk normally... sorry

Okay I'll just break it, sorry pals, I wanna keep writing here, but

I wanna talk about Star Wars

I love it, and I know everybody hates the sequel, and I do too when it comes to the ninth movie, but I love the 7th and 8th, if only they hadn't listened to angry fans instead of just doing what they wanted to do. They just listen to us a bit too much nowadays and... okay, Sonic was saved because of the internet, BUT, it just harms so much too. The worst was really how they harassed Rose's actress like come on, she's cute and I like her, she didn't deserve that much hate. I'm happy she's better now but still, fans shouldn't just harass somebody. I don't like the ship with Finn, but Rose is still interesting, she has lost her SISTER to a recent battle, she is the equivalent of a fan seeing her idol when she meets Finn, it's just wonderful to it unfold and all. People need to see she is us, and we are her, she represents the soul of the fans.

Speaking of fans, do you know you can easily spot a game translated from English to French with google translate? just find a game referring to "fans" and if in French it says "ventilateurs" you've found one. Google translate just understand it as "fan" like in "fan that blows air and cools the room" so yeah... I don't know I just wanted to say it cause I saw it a few years ago on a mobile game.

Moulin Rouge is cringe, of course it's a musical about love, buuuut, it's funny and there's Bruno, Obi-wan, a ton of references to 20th century music, a ton of good characters, the best song being El tango de Roxanne but we know why we love that one *wink wink*. And the movie really has its own identity, just the way of transitioning from one place to another, the bright red aesthetic, the weirdness of it- God I love that

Oh and since I'm a French speaker "voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir" indeed means "do you want to boogie boogie with me tonight" SO YEAH DON'T USE IT TO SEEM INTERESTING ( I've had a case like that, trying to prove they could speak French with that sentence was a bad choice )

I joined the fandom late indeed, my poor English didn't allow me to join big forums back then, I know smut is still there but it's so low compared to other fandoms I'm in, usually when I filter out the tags linked with nasty stuff I end up with three quarters of the fan fictions away, with warrior cats it's a hundred at most, so I won't be picky and consider them mostly smut-free ( at least on AO3 )

Does it mean I'm not a "true one"? I would argue and say: does the quality of the fan you are belongs to the amount of time you've been active? or the quality of what you can bring to the fandom?

As a young one it seems like I have to prove myself in some way, I always found that idea of gatekeeping things kind of stupid. Of course they're proud that they've been here for far longer than any other fan but... it would be boring if no one was there to keep the fandom fresh, it's content, it's fun, it can be shared without evaluating who is better than who. But I still get it, when I was in the Undertale fandom I was proud to say I had been there since the release of the game, do I regret saying that? absolutely-the-fandom-sucks-and-just-gave-the-game-the-worst-image-ever-screw-the-fangirls-i-hope-they-are-burning-in-hell-by-now, but I don't regret that pride. But as I grew older, I just found myself pleased by what the new comers could bring, new fanarts, new content, a ton of fun, and a ton of cringe, but that's how it is.

I am not attacking though, I know I seem rude of something, it's my mind rambling as always.

Why do I look like a meanie? I'm not mean, well if I am that's accidental. Just... human nature is beyond me, it's so complicated sometimes. It's not my fault if communication is so hard.

It seems they feel like their only worth is in the fandom, like it determines their being and how they're perceived, even when outside most people will be like "random dude #24"... I don't know, great for them if they feel proud of it but it would be so much better if they weren't belittling others in the process. 

Honestly until you said something, I didn't even realize english wasn't your first language. I can see where you could maybe improve here or there but I have no constructive criticisms to even point out specifically what because I'm not an english teacher and I never bothered to study past what I had to to pass general high school classes.

I can't wait to be a teacher. I hated my last English teacher since she wasn't even able to align two words, she was very nice though, the nicest of all, but she allowed her students to step on her. It was kind of sad to see, cause she deserves so much love, but I don't think she should teach 4th to 6th grade in secondary school, maybe first to third, why not, they still learn the basis and she has them. Anyway, I want to be a good teacher, I want my students to love English, not to despise it like a chore. I know I would prefer like 1000% more teaching latin, cause it's my true love, but... the Belgian government is kind of killing that option. My favourite latin/greek teacher already had to start working part-time in a school two streets away from mine because of this, it was breaking my soul. I offered him a book at the end of my 4th grade, signed by the whole class, it was actually my favourite book but who cares, he deserved it. At the time it was still uncertain if he would stay or leave the school. In the end it was neither, and both. It's weird how you can get attached to some people just because of how they teach, I know the rest of my class despised him, it was only because greek and latin wasn't their passion ( why would they even take the option then? ), but it's mine, it's my friends', and a teacher can really impact it. And he had, for the better.

The one I had this year was an a$$, he made jokes about me and my best friend, saying we liked some nasty stuff just because we were speaking about how a cat grooms itself by licking its fur ( I know it's weird ), and of course we were taught about Dionysos and his... temptations. Mix everything together and it makes a real p3d0 out of him. I had to complain to my main teacher, and in the end I was the one yelled at by the p3d0 because he didn't understand where he had crossed the line. He mentally destroyed another friend of mine, couldn't handle the panic attacks of another and was a creep. He is the ONLY Greek/Latin teacher I can't describe as "the best", the others are wonderful, true pearls in the deep sea, shining birds in the sun, but him... HIM... he is the dark figure looming in Tartarus, a vicious being just scooping every bit of passion you might have and throwing it in Cerberus' gaping jaws.

But still, Latin and Greek are ma passions, and no one will take that away.
