The raven furred she-cat nodded. "Thank you," she meowed, the cold breeze tightening around her heart like layers and layers of thick spiderwebs. "Maybe we should find some sort of shelter now. It's getting bad out here," she said, every hair on her pelt straight due to the horrid weather. She sniffed the air, anticipating a scent; a scent of another cat. Much to Ebony's disappointment, there were no cat scents in the air. Perhaps they had all began to confide in their dens just as Ebony wished to do now?

WAVECREST palm coast beach / with featherfoot, shellsong, & archwhisker
Wavecrest continued to gaze at the stormy sea. It matched his fur today: the water was grey in patches where it reflected the darkening skies above and white with foam where the churning waves charged up the beach. His eyes lingered there a few heartbeats more, intending to make it clear that he hadn't noticed her teasing comment, before responding as though it were an afterthought: "Careful who you cozy up to, Featherfoot. Getting close to anyone these days seems like a surefire way to get snake mites."
He deigned not to reply to her calling him a friend. It puzzled him. Wavecrest's relations with his Clanmates were cordial, but there were few, if any, he would consider a friend. Featherfoot, however, often seemed to go out of her way to be friendly toward him. He couldn't figure out why someone like her would consider him a worthwhile companion. He wasn't sure he even felt the same about her; the molly frequently managed to ruffle his fur with her constant jesting.
"A fine catch," he mewed, referring to her clownfish and angelfish. He rolled his eyes, a small half-smile upon his muzzle, as Featherfoot puffed her chest out with evident pride. It was well-earned, he supposed. Wavecrest nodded toward a small lump of sand further up the beach. "Just the one. I managed to snag an angelfish, myself, earlier. I'd hoped to get just one more before admitting defeat, but..."
With a sigh, he began to groom his disheveled fur before it dried in place, wrinkling his nose at the potent taste of saltwater. "I guess my luck has run out for the time being."JACARANDABLOOM camp / with coconutfall Coconutfall's advice wasn't much help. He stated the obvious before once again retreating within himself, refusing to meet her eyes. She allowed a few heartbeats to elapse, hoping that perhaps he was just pausing to think, but when it became clear her father had nothing more to offer, she sighed. I guess it really is all on me, then. She didn't know whether to feel pleased or annoyed that Coconutfall was leaving everything up to her.
"Right." Jacarandabloom lashed her tail. "I'll inform my cats of the plan and we'll check in with you tomorrow before we set out." With that, she turned and marched away.
At least this conversation hadn't been totally pointless. Toward the end, another thought regarding Coconutfall had occurred to her, but she pushed it down. Whether or not she took that path would depend entirely upon the outcome of the patrol.
Jacarandabloom's forehead creased in a thoughtful frown as she gazed around the camp. Pretty much everyone was back now, save for a few patrols that had left earlier who had yet to return. They might have gotten held up by the storm. Maybe she should wait until those cats got back so she would have a greater pool of candidates to choose from. I'll take Creekpaw, she decided, a small, grudging part of her feeling like she ought to take Coconutfall up on at least one of his suggestions. And maybe I'll bring Lemonpaw instead of Gulfpaw. Just to show that she was capable of having her own thoughts. Unlike someone.

SUNCHASER returning to camp / with silentwave She chuckled - a bright, merry sound - at the hunter's muffled thanks and the mental image his analogy conjured. "You're welcome," she said with a lopsided grin.
Sunchaser trotted forward, accidentally bumping him with her shoulder. The scout didn't appear to notice. Instead she briefly considered trying to hunt again, but she didn't really feel like embarrassing herself a second time in front of such a skilled cat; she must look like a kit trying to sneak up and pounce on a mossball to him. Besides, the rain was starting to get heavier as they headed inland, toward the camp. "Well, if you ever need some fighting tips, I'd be happy to help you practice!" She offered over her shoulder.
KIWIPAW healers' den / with algaewing
Kiwipaw waited until Algaewing was focused on the herbs to quietly shuffle away from the molly's side. His own skin twitched sympathetically, and he gave his chest fur a few hurried licks, hoping it was indeed only a sympathy itch and not one of the bugs Algaewing carried.
"Starting wiiiiith..." He hovered his paw over the collection of leaves and needles, then chose one at random and scraped it toward him. "Lemongrass. The possible combinations would be lemongrass and basil, lemongrass and mint, lemongrass and rosemary..." He continued listing out the combinations in this manner with each of the herbs. Toward the end he began to speed up, feeling self-conscious about how long it was taking.
"And rosil and basemary, I mean, basil and rosemary," he finished, stumbling over the last words in his haste. He paused to catch his breath and collect his thoughts. "I still think trying mouse bile could be worthwhile. What if we mixed that with your limeleaf poultice for something really strong?"

Silentwave
with sunchaser Tealraven
Silentwave noticed the scout bumping his shoulder a bit earlier; he knew she'd bump into him. He reckoned it was his alert nature acting up. He was too aware of everything happening around him at all times; he didn't like it.
However, the hunter didn't mind. Instead he basked in the comfort of another Clanmate's presence, completely devoted to having a nice interaction with Sunchaser.
He heard the ginger she-cat offer fighting tips. "I'd like that. I honestly don't think I'd survive in Swiftsplash's or Turtlestream's fur during the boa incidents, unless it was a hunting type situation. I still doubt I'd be able to hunt down a boa," he meowed, shivers spreading through his spine at the thought of a boa attack.

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko felt a shiver running down his spine as Cassia's tail touched his shoulder. The lean tom nodded, listening to whatever the molly had to say. " I'm glad that we're able to share this common experience together.", he mewed. Yoko said," Well, I hope you think that I'm not using you Cassia.". The white cat licked his right paw and quickly swiped it over his right ear. His eyes then locked with Cassia's eyes, and he looked away after a while, clearly flustered. The cold breeze flowed past the shelter's cracks in the walls. Yoko's white fur felt this cold breeze, and he shuddered. " It's getting a bit cold now Cassia.", Yoko said looking down at the she-cat.

Vanillabloom »
Just as she had hoped Rookfall made his way toward the nursery. Instantly a smile found its way across the molly’s face. ”I appreciate it greatly, Rookfall,” Vanillabloom greeted, tone cordial and warm. ”It’ll be a bit difficult to find dry prey for the next few days.” Having seen quite a few wet seasons in her time, Vanillabloom knew what to expect. The storm would hang around for the day and eventually leave, but its clouds would linger for a few days longer, covering the island with a drizzle. The Ocean would swell and the mangroves could even flood over, but the camp and forest would remain fine. Damp, but there would be no trouble beyond that. Cats had survived through wet seasons for moons upon moons. Even if they struggled even a bit they would end up fine.
These thoughts were soon pushed to the back of her mind as she focused on what Rookfall had to say. Whiskers twitching and with a chuff of laughter she replied, ”What a considerate cat you are for saving Archwhisker’s old bones from the rain. You should probably get some rest soon if you’re taking his spot for the night.” There was still some time yet before the sun would set, but this interaction couldn’t last long if Rookfall planned on getting in a nap before his night shift started.
Further inspection of the tom left Vanillabloom questioning just how up for it he would be. There was something droopy in his posture, and it seemed less about the rain and more about something else. Over the last few days Vanillabloom had learned a lot about Rookfall, how he was as eager as an apprentice on their first day and as cheerful as a kit. Something was pinning him down, an invisible force sinking its claws into his usual peppy self.
Rather than take the first bite of the swallow for herself she nudged it toward Rookfall. As she did she looked up at the scout, concerned. ”Looks like you’re dealing with another storm today. Would you care to talk about it?” Her voice soft, she made sure to keep herself open and comforting. Rookfall was not of her blood, but she had watched him grow up and cared for him, just as she did all her Clanmates. Even before her litter of kits had arrived she had been a mother in spirit and thus watched over any cat that needed it. If anything had happened on his patrol earlier or if he merely had intrusive thoughts plaguing his mind, Vanillabloom was here for him. She would never turn down some cat in need.
Coconutfall »
In silence Coconutfall watched his daughter walk away. Tightness scrunched his face as shamed burned in his chest. A slow, drawn out sigh escaped his barely parted lips. He knew she had wanted both praise for taking initiative but also help from the cat who was supposed to be both her oracle and father, yet that wasn’t something Coconutfall could give. To make steadfast decisions he needed other cats to push him, to guide him. He needed the Ocean to whisper in his ears, yet no voice had come to pull him in the direction he needed. All the Ocean had given to him in the last moon had been trouble, from Tigerpaw’s position as neophyte to the blood red wave that had engulfed him.
Large droplets of water splashed onto his pelt. He looked down to his paws. He wanted to do something so badly, but he didn’t know what. He was afraid to lead, more so now than he had been before. Before he had handled it if only because there had been no problems to address, but now that each day brought with it something new, Coconutfall had no idea what to do. Palmshade hadn’t prepared him for this. The Ocean hadn’t prepared him for making his own decisions on the spot. His tail twitched anxiously, whiskers trembling with nerves. More raindrops spattered onto his tabby pelt, yet he sat in his place near the fresh-kill pile. Perhaps once he had trained Tigerpaw well enough he could step down as oracle. Tigerpaw would be young, inexperienced, but surely even he, as bouncy and kit-like as he was, could lead a Clan better than Coconutfall ever did. It was a thought he’d like to ponder upon, but perhaps he’d lock it away for now, keep it safe inside his mind and only bring it up in the company of Archwhisker or Sandheart. If there was something he knew it was that a decision as drastic as that needed at least a second opinion, and perhaps his brother or mate could offer him the guidance he so desperately needed.

SEABREEZE With - Lilypool Location - Healer Den Tag - Feathertalon Seabreeze nodded at Lilypool's suggestion. She trod lightly into the den, not wnting to disturb the two resting cats. She shivered at the mere sight of them. Quickly snagging some lime, she looked around for galivana. Galivana, galivana. Where on earth did I put you? she thought to herself as she looked around. Finally the leafy herb cought her eye. Ahh, there you are. Suddenly, the clot of aloe vera beside the wrap of galivana caught her eye. Some blobs of the coolg gel had clearly been taken. Now she thought of it, there had been a few scratch marks near the entrance. Had someone come in? Seabreeze popped her head out of the den inquiringly. "Lilypool," she called, "Someone's touched the herbs, but all of the healers are out of camp." She hesitated for a moment in, her namesake, the wild coastal sea breeze. The wind seemed to be picking up. "Do you. . . think someone got hurt and was treated by Coastdawn or Vanillabloom?"

Cassia chuckled. "If I thought you were using me, I'd have ripped your ears off by now!" The calico had developed a way to tell when a cat had been using her. She usually looked for excuses, the breaking of eye contact, looking away often, stuttering, fidgeting, getting upset over their orders not being fulfilled...
A cold breeze swept through the Twoleg nest's interior. Cassia shivered briefly, her fur beginning to bristle in an attempt to warm up. She turned to the white loner. "You're right. I have a solution, though," she meowed, picking up her bundle of white fluff and dragging it to the wooden box with comfy scraps in it. She leapt onto the contraption, throwing the white bundle on it. She nuzzled the brown scrap on top of the massive once-white fluffy box, lifting it enough for her to slide in and feel warm. "It's kinda dusty, but it's better to get a little dirt on your fur then freeze to death." She peeked out of the wooden box. "Come here."

OSPREYFEATHER With - Bluepool Location - Palm Coast Tag - ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ · Ospreyfeather shrugged. "We'll go hunting if you want," he replied. "I'm not that tired." Ospreyfeather didn't actually know the meaning of tired. His endless, active energy and strong hind legs allowed him to bound swiftly, never leaving him tired or exhausted. He could basically go on forever. The definition of tired was distant from his understanding. He quickly dug a small trench and nosed the three pieces of prey into it. He covered up the hole with dirt and soil, then jumped up energetically, always ready for the next adventure. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew Ospreyfeather quite nearly of his feet! His light build was lifted a quarter of an inch off the ground. To hi greatest dismay, he lost his footing and slid sideways into a small puddle of muck. Ouch! He shook his head. "The wind's picking up, isn't it? Where do you want to go?" He roared to be heard over the strong gale. However, this did not dispirit him, and he was still ready for wherever Bluepool wanted to go next.

Sunshine ; 'Sunny'
With - [ Ebony ]
Location - [ Lost In HibiscusClan Territory]
"I couldn't agree more," Sunny meowed in earnest, feeling a shudder ripple through his bulky body. It wasn't particularly cold, however, his coat was starting to get wet from rain that filtered through the canopy above and it was a sensation that brought him discomfort. In storms such as these - which were frequent during the wet season - he would have found himself a dry crevice beneath a twoleg building. Alas, the forest had no twoleg buildings to offer. Looking around through squinted eyes, a futile effort to protect them from the wind, he continued trekking through the undergrowth.
For a time that felt like moons, but was more like minutes, Sunshine felt sure that they might be without shelter. He slacked his jaw as he prepared to admit defeat, his tail flicking over the ground with disappointment as he resigned to their stormy fate. Only, it was then, that he noticed a rocky outcrop. Two rocks slanted together and created a teepee-like structure - the perfect location for two lost cats to find shelter. "Oh, perfect!" He bounded forward and dived into the shelter of the rocks. He shook his pelt free of the droplets that had fallen upon his ginger tabby pelt and sighed as he melted into the ground with exhaustion. "Ahh, this will definitely do until morning."
Sleep would not excuse the nagging ache of hunger that clawed at his stomach. It would, however, cure him of his tired paws.
Rookfall
With - [ Vanillabloom ]
Location - [ Nursery ]
Inevitably, Vanillabloom's uncompromising affability and bright smile influenced Rookfall's own doubts and tribulations, giving him a burst of encouragement that simply reflected the fact 'it will be okay'. It was an ability the molly seemed to have had for... as long as the black tom could remember. The few times he'd needed her assistance when he was a young tom and she a healer cemented the fact in his mind; she had an aura that enveloped him in a blanket of safety. Since the passing of his own mother... he appreciated being able to feel the kind of warmth that he thought only Roostcloud could give.
Notwithstanding, Rookfall's lack of care whilst on duty was still anew in his mind, and even the motherly geniality of Vanillabloom could not cure him of his qualms. "I'm sure if I didn't offer than someone else would have volunteered. I don't think anyone fancies listening to him whine about sore joints." In all honesty, there wasn't a particularly high likelihood of someone else offering; most cats didn't choose to approach Archwhisker.
He dipped his head in thanks as Vanillabloom allowed him the first bite of the bird. He began plucking feathers from the prey, taking care to delicately place the feathers to the side. They would be excellent for lining a nest or playing with the kits. It was easy to hide his surprise at her question when he busied himself with the motions, eyes averted to fixate firmly on his task. Undoubtedly, he wasn't feeling particularly chipper... however, did he have the right to complain? After all Vanillabloom had been going through? Weren't his issues trivial in comparison? No, I don't want to bring her anymore worry. He lifted his head and forced a smile upon his countenance. He was a sublime actor, though it did lack a certain sunny Rookfall charm that could never be replicated by mental efforts alone. "I'm just fine! In fact - guess what? I made use of the herb knowledge you've been teaching me! I-I went out with Lilypool on patrol. And Seabreeze. We went to palm coast and collected some lime leaves."
It was the mention of the tabico molly that allowed any glow to seep into his yellow gaze. He bent his head to take a bite from the swallow and nudged it back to Vanillabloom as he chewed. "I wanted to find aloe vera but couldn't spot it today." He mumbled around his mouthful. After swallowing, he continued. "I did find some gavilana. I forgot what it remedies... Lilypool did tell me though. She's a great teacher - like you!"
To an onlooker, Rookfall would have appeared in his usual lively manner. Under Vanillabloom's expert gaze, it was clear he wasn't as bright as he did his best to appear. The reason for this, however, was equivocal.
Featherfoot
With - [ Wavecrest, Shellsong, Archwhisker ]
Location - [ Beach ]
"It might be good timing to admit defeat," Featherfoot spoke the words whilst looking towards Shellsong and Archwhisker. The tortoiseshell molly trudged up the sandy shore and shook water from each leg individually. The motion sent droplets of water to their tabby scout, who was swiftly on his paws and bristling.
"Watch it!" He snapped. It was no secret that Archwhisker may be the most water-phobic cat in the clan; potentially even more-so than Hootpaw who was notably loud on the topic. The tom ruffled his pelt, a motion that caused the lingering sand granules to alight from the hairs, and glared at Shellsong.
An amused chuckled sounded from Featherfoot, "Come on, we'd best go save her from Archwhisker's wrath!" The last word was uttered with throaty emphasis, reinforced by the way she leaned towards Wavecrest to stress the mock threat. A heartbeat later, the grey tabby molly was bounding towards the commotion.
Shellsong shuffled her paws over the sand sheepishly, the dry spots of her coat rising with embarrassment. "S-sorry Archwhisker!" Her words quivered as much as her fumbling feet. She glanced over her shoulder in preparation to send a quiet cry for help towards Featherfoot, only to find the reliable hunter coming to a stop by her side.
"C'mon now Archwhisker, she obviously didn't mean it." Featherfoot reasoned, calm but firm. Archwhisker huffed quietly and rolled his eyes, looking about as mature a chided apprentice. "It looks like the weather is getting poorer now, should we head back to camp?" She looked from Shellsong - who offered a small nod - to Archwhisker who grumbled his agreement. Glancing back towards Wavecrest, she tilted her head inquisitively. "Are you ready to return to camp, too?"

Bluepool Bluepool pondered for a bit, letting her head droop. The weather was getting worse; if she wanted to get some fish she'd have to be quick.
"Maybe we could fish? I mean, we're close to the water. I don't know how efficient it will end up being as the weather isn't quite the best," she mewed thoughtfully, doing her best to seem smart and wise.
I really hope I don't look stupid, she thought miserably. Is my fur groomed? Hopefully I don't look bad...
She wasn't sure how likeable she was in the first place. She was quiet, often alone and snappy. She hoped that Ospreyfeather saw her in a nice light. She wouldn't blame him even if he disliked her; she was a strangely quiet cat who liked to bottle up her opinions and emotions.

EbonyThe black molly trotted to the bundle of rocks Sunshine settled himself beneath. "This is just living proof I'd never survive by myself. I didn't even notice this place!" She sat down, her mind filled with thoughts.
I hope atleast one of my kits knows their father, she thought hopefully. I hope...
The weather outside was horrid, atleast from the kittypet's angle. A bit of rain was enough to have her meowing at her Twolegs' door. They let her out often, and she realized that maybe they'd get worried she was gone. Sadness washed over the molly's mind. Everything was going south! Atleast I have a acquaintance, she pondered.

SUNCHASER returning to camp / with silentwave The tall golden-furred scout pressed forward, sending the flapping, rustling leaves into a frenzy. She scanned the path ahead of them for any threats before looping back to join Silentwave. She shuddered at the thought of hunting a boa. "No kidding. Who would want to eat boa meat, anyway? I bet it's all sinewy and slimy." She scrunched up her face. "I'll stick to birds, thanks."
The familiar scent of camp was hard to detect in the storm, but she was reasonably sure they were getting close. Still, she remained on alert, determined to do her duty until they were safely within the camp's walls once more. "I don't think I have anything else to do for the day," she meowed while looking around. "I doubt Coconutfall will be sending out any more patrols in this weather. We could practice when we get back to camp, if you want!"
WAVECREST palm coast beach / with featherfoot, shellsong, & archwhisker
"Hmm." Wavecrest made a noncommittal noise at Featherfoot's suggestion of giving up and heading back for the day. The molly was right, of course, but still. The idea of admitting defeat so soon didn't sit well with him. He was good at persevering, if nothing else. He shivered as wind gusted over his damp fur. The tide was rising; it wouldn't be safe to stay on the beach for much longer. "I suppose," he conceded with reluctance.
He leaned back even as Featherfoot leaned forward to emphasize her words. He arched an eyebrow at her, but the other hunter was already bounding over the sand toward their Clanmates. The grey and white tom got to his paws and followed more slowly. He wasn't sure how to help, so he stood off to the side and observed the interaction, feeling sorry for poor Shellsong stuck on the receiving end of Archwhisker's ire.
"Maybe next time, don't accompany a patrol to the beach?" Wavecrest suggested to the tabby tom. With a nod to Featherfoot and Shellsong, he went to collect his one prize for the day. He shoveled the wet sand aside and leaned down to pick up the angelfish. He returned to the patrol, lingering a polite distance from Featherfoot, as she was the only one who had conversed with him thus far.
With a wry aside glance, he muttered under his breath so the others couldn't hear, "Archwhisker: doesn't like getting wet. Also Archwhisker: joins a fishing patrol." He raised his eyebrows at the disgruntled scout.

Splashstone stretched her black paws outwards and instinctively let her jaw fall wide into a gaping yawn. She let out a small squeak and then snapped her maw shut before resting her head on her forearm. The rushing water of the Calm Falls filled her ears and drowned out most of the busy-body thoughts that filled her head. She thought about going out to restock some of the herbs that were low, and she also thought of visiting her old friend Hawkpelt who never seemed to talk to her anymore. She worried about him every once in a while. Especially since they only just arrived together. The two of them had been great friends ever since they were kits, but now that Hawkpelt had a new position in a new clan, he was having a rough time acclimating. -------------------------------------------

Lilypool »
Putting the lime in its proper spot was an easy task for the tabico healer. She made sure to put it up neat and tidy before turning away from it. Briefly she wondered if Rookfall was still nearby, the thought of spending some extra time with him inside camp warming her pelt, but these thoughts didn’t go any further as Seabreeze spoke her name.
Lilypool turned her attention on the nearby molly. ”Are the herbs okay?” She immediately inquired, worry pulsing through her at the thought of their supplies being tampered with. She couldn’t think of a single cat that would come inside the healers’ den and harm any of their herbs, at least not intentionally. Perhaps one of Skinkstripe’s kits had wandered into the den while the healers were away, but looking around Lilypool didn’t notice any other signs that would imply a kit had been playing inside. And as she thought on it more, she knew that Skinkstripe was an incredibly attentive mother. If any of her second litter had gone into the den the queen would have known about it. Another option was that a healer had returned back to camp momentarily, but as far as she knew her and Seabreeze were the first healers to return back to camp. Yet again another scenario was presented to Lilypool. Perhaps Seabreeze was onto something, if anything happened to a cat then Vanillabloom or Coastdawn would offer assistance.
An idea suddenly came to her. Lilypool parted her jaws and took in a deep breath. Most of the cat scent was covered under the perfume of herbs, but faintly there were two scents fresher than the others. ”Coastdawn and Mintsong,” she meowed, turning to look at Seabreeze. ”Their scents are fresh. Whatever happened couldn’t have been too serious, or else they’d still be here.” Lilypool did have to wonder what had gone wrong. She made a note to herself to check in on Mintsong if she caught sight of the molly by the day’s end. Mintsong may not want Lilypool’s help, and a part of the healer did want another medic to take the responsibility, but as a healer Lilypool had vowed to put others above herself. A cat’s injuries were more important than family drama, Lilypool just hoped Mintsong would see it that way too.
Vanillabloom »
”You’re not wrong. Some cat would have taken his spot,” the white feline agreed in good nature. Why Archwhisker had been put on night guard during a storm was beyond Vanillabloom, but she had never had a say in how scouts were picked for certain shifts. Her time with Coconutfall had opened her up to spending time with Archwhisker, though. He was a good tom, a good enough worker for the Clan and a reliable scout to have on patrol, but his social skills were certainly lacking. In no way was Vanillabloom meaning that to be rude, she was just going along with the truth. The poor tom wasn’t extroverted in the slightest. In fact most of her time spent with the tabby had been when her and Coconutfall were already spending time with one another, and the few times she had been with her former mate’s brother without the oracle had been when he was escorting healer patrols. He had never been one for much conversation on those. She had tried to get him to speak some more, but she eventually had given up, not wanting to push him beyond his comfort but also realizing that there would be no way she’d get anything out of Archwhisker.
But this conversation wasn’t about Archwhisker. She listened as Rookfall went on to describe how his day had gone, how he had scouted for Seabreeze’s and Lilypool’s herb collecting patrol. A smile pulled on her lips as he excitedly talked about finding gavilana even if he hadn’t remembered the usage for it until explained.
Even as he spoke and busied himself with the swallow, something still didn’t feel completely…Rookfall about him. The nub of her tail twitched, worry still brewing within her as she sat there. Not wanting to push him, she decided to drop questioning him, but she was going to bring it back up before this interaction was over with. Something was bothering Rookfall, and she was too stubborn to let him get away with not letting her try to help.
Something else the white queen noticed was how Rookfall did brighten up at the mention of her daughter, Lilypool. Rookfall wasn’t completely there, but a lot of his usual lively spark was back. The molly’s whiskers twitched, bemused. ”So all this learning you’ve been doing about herbs…is it for the sake of knowledge or being used to pursue another thing?”

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ · Yoko's white ears flattened after he heard Cassia's remarks about betrayal. " Agh, if you actually did rip off my ears, I don't know if I'd forgive you.", teased the tom. Yoko shivered from the cold wind. His neck fur bristled up as Yoko wished to be warm at a time like this. " A solution?" Yoko watched Cassia form bedding that almost resembled a real-life bird nest. Yoko's tail twitched from annoyance. He absolutely couldn't stand getting his fur dirty, especially since he's groomed himself more than he needed to today. However, Yoko sighed and gave in. The cat followed Cassia's lead and he laid down next to her. Yoko moved around to get himself more comfortable and he instantly felt warmer than earlier. " You're right," Yoko looked at the she-cat and smiled, " This is actually so warm. You're very clever Cassia." He then laid his white head onto the edge of the wooden box.

Feathertalon - Redwave Splashstone heaved onto her paws and sighed gently. She had finally decided her next move and that was to go gather a few of the herbs that are used frequently. She took a deep breath and took in all of the scents of their territory and a small purr began in her chest. She had always loved the smell of the ocean, and what was even better was the plentiful amount of food that they were gifted. When Hawkpelt and herself had contemplated the idea of joining, Splashstone was dead set on being in a clan that was closer to the spots she already so dearly loved. As she reminisced on how lovely their territory was, she strolled back into camp and ducked under all the dense brush in order to emerge from the outside in. She made her way into the Healer's den and noticed a few scratch marks on the entryway. She thought it weird, but not too weird since she would be clawing her way out as well if she was being treated for any kind of wound. Her mind swirled with questions while she absentmindedly nodded her greeting to Lillypool and Seabreeze. She took account of what she should gather next and decided on clove since they never knew when a minor cold may come and ravage the camp and some comfrey for the general ache or swelling that tends to come with training, hunting, and scouting. Splashstone turned and headed back out of the Healer's den in order to find someone who would accompany her. She COULD go alone, however, with recent events she felt safer with someone else by her side.

WHIRLPOOL AND WATERFALL With - WHALESPIRIT, CROCODILEFANG, BASILTAIL Location - SCARMAW'S LAIR Tag - Feathertalon, thejadestorm Waterfall was unprepared for Basiltail's sudden retaliation. He jumped backwards, but could not avoid a blow to his forehead cleverly dealt by a fighting Basiltail. Let's do this, Waterfall. Carrying out every defence he knew, bringing out every line of defence, Waterfall fought back valiantly. But the odds were not to his favour. Battered, bruised and now terrified of Basiltail, Waterfall pulled of one, final, feeble move. Lunging for Basiltail, his paws pushed the she-cat backwards, hoping it would work. "Naughty, naughty prey," he said.

CLIFFSTORM With - Dovekit, Horizonkit and Skinkstripe Location - Nursery Tag - @ Cliffstorm nodded. "Of course you can play!" he said, smiling warmly at Dovekit. Dovekit seemed so much more mature than Horizonkit - for now, of course. Then his brow furrowed. "As long as you don't jump on to me, as your cheeky brother did," he said, poking Horizonkit cheekily with his paw. "But afterwards I have to go on patrol, probably."

"I know," she purred teasingly, using her teeth to pull the covers of the nest along both the cats' backs.
Before she knew it, her eyes closed and her head fell limply onto the fluffy material beneath her. A light purr echoed deep in her throat as she nuzzled against the brown scrap covering her calico shape. Tranquil sleep took over the she-cat's body, this time without any nightmares, or any dreams. It was a warm, "empty" sleep, like one of the naps she took by her mother's side as a tiny kit.

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko pressed his white flank against Cassia. A smooth purr escaped from his throat. This is much better! I'm perfectly warm, protected from that dreaded storm, and I'm sharing a comfortable nest with a beautiful molly! Yoko turned his head to the sleeping molly, Albeit my interactions with mollies go quicker and smoother than this, I'm sure she'll love me in no time! Yoko yawned, baring his fangs before blinking. Tears welled up from his yawn, and they dripped on the cold wood that the two cats were laid in. She looks more calm compared to how she was earlier. Yoko found himself admiring how elegant the she-cat was sleeping. " I should try to sleep as well now.", the cat quietly mewed under his breath. The loner moved closer to Cassia and brushed his fur against hers before closing his eyes, hoping for a pleasant dream to occur in his sleep. Before the white feline drifted to sleep, he managed to purr quietly, " Sweet dreams Cassia."
