Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko gave Cassia's ears a few more licks before moving onto her coat. Even though you can't really see it, there has to be some dust or dirt hiding real good in her fur., he silently thought to himself. Yoko brushed his thin tail against her fur and saw some light dust particles fly in the air. He coughed quietly as he noticed the loner was drifting to sleep. I'll make this quick, but comfortably then. He licked her fur softly to not wake her up and would brush his tail against her fur every so often to check if the dust and dirt lessened by each lick. This continued for another ten or so minutes before his last brushing showed that there was hardly any dust and dirt residing in the dark molly's pelt. Sure it was impossible to get rid of every single particle of dust and dirt left, but Yoko felt his effort reached his hard standards. " Have a good rest Cassia.", the white tom quietly mewed as he went back down to his spot where he previously laid.

Cassia with yoko rob lucci's wife--- Cassia opened one of her green eyes tiredly, as she was still half asleep. She had no idea what had just happened, but she had heard someone call her name. Upon noticing Yoko not far from her, she closed her eyes once more. I could swear I heard something, she thought, but it's whatever. I'm not alone anymore.
Just now had she realized; she won't have to sleep, hunt or maybe even fight alone anymore! She would never admit it, but she hated being alone. She found it much more comforting to have somecat around, even if it was someone as strange as Yoko. The dusty Twoleg nest suddenly appeared more comfortable and warm. There truly is a charm to having a companion, she thought.

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko started eating the half eaten bird that Cassia gave. Cassia was right! It was a pretty damn good bird. Its flavor melted onto the tom's mouth as he chewed slowly. He was thankful that someone as mean as Cassia gave him a meal. The tom didn't have to worry about hunting as he wasn't running on a hungry stomach, at least for today and the day after that. After finishing his meal, Yoko arched his back and stretched his paws and legs. Strangely enough the tom didn't feel tired anymore, so perhaps his low energy was caused by a lack of a meal. Yoko jumped onto a four-legged wooden twoleg contraption and walked towards the giant hole that was on the wall. He looked out of the hole with a dirty reflection watching the sky turn darker with each passing minute. " Ahh, maybe this day wasn't bad after all." Yoko blinked and continued staring out at the outside world " I got a nice meal, escaped mean cats, made a new friend even though they're a bit mean, and most importantly, the fur won't be ruined by this storm.", Yoko mewed happily pouring his thoughts out quietly. He looked towards Cassia's direction and his eyes softened as he watched her peacefully sleep. - Batpaw // Tealraven" It certainly is the worst. Plus you get this weird scent that sticks on your fur after the rain until you clean it.", Batpaw replied as he shivered thinking of that scent. He knew for sure he didn't like that smell at all. The small scout in training then puffed out his chest with pride as he heard the healer declare departure from the frog-ridden place. " Yes! Of course Parrotcall.", Batpaw said with enthusiasm. He was happy that he was finally about to put his skills he learned from Sandheart into use. As he headed to the entrance of the ravine, Batpaw's dark fur was met with light wind. He closed his eyes so the dirt didn't hit his vision. " Ah!" Batpaw looked back at the white cat " Parrotcall! Hold onto those petals of yours! The wind is starting to pick up and it isn't pretty.", he said loud and clear so that the healer was prepared before exiting.

Cassia
with yoko rob lucci's wife "Cassia, let's play!" ... "Okay, ?!/#@!" Cassia's claws pierced the white nest beneath her. Her muscles tensed, and her fur bristled uneasily. "What's that?"I don't want to hear her voice. "I don't know. Maybe it's dangerous! Don't touch it."Finally, she opened her eyes, terror washing over her. Where am I? Who is that? Her eyes widened at the sight of the white tom, fear making itself clear in her mind. Oh. It's just Yoko, she pondered, relief hitting her thoughts. She cursed under her breath, stretching her paws out in front of herself. There was no way she'd go to sleep succesfully after what had happened. She noticed Yoko staring out her favorite viewing point. She then licked her chest fur uneasily, desperately trying to relax. What the... My pelt's clean, she thought obliviously, curiousity capturing her mind. How? I didn't clean it this well. She decided to put the question aside for now. What she really needed was some rest, which was impossible for her to obtain now that she remembered it.Whatever. I'll just lay here until sleep comes naturally, she concluded, resting her head on the big lump of white bedding.

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko's tail wrapped around his paws and he sighed. He would turn his head every so often to check on Cassia and see if she was fine. Why do I even care so much about this molly? Yoko would then lay on his stomach and face Cassia's direction with the dark sky behind him. He finally noticed Cassia was awake when he saw her grooming her fur. He smiled and walked himself down to the she-cat. He called from behind, " Cassia, you're awake? I honestly thought you'd sleep longer than that.". Yoko noticed that his partner looked a bit out of it " You don't look so great. Did the bird from earlier upset your stomach?", the tom asked with great concern.

basiltail at the border
"Stop, stop, you're starting to flatter me," Basiltail purred at Waterfall, strutting a bit. "I know I draw eyes, but not to this extent! Fine then, if you must insist -"
With the light-hearted lilt of his words, his dash forward was sudden and abrupt, as if his words were still hanging in the air behind him as he slipped under Waterfall's hefty frame. From there his small paws rounded upon Waterfall's left front and back leg, about to sweep them underneath so that Basiltail could knock his balance to the wayside and flip him onto his back.
Whether Basiltail succeeded, or Waterfall was quick enough to counter the attack by flipping Basiltail over, the result was the same: Waterfall finding himself nose-to-nose with Basiltail, finding his own madness reflected back in the eyes of the grinning scout.
"Let's dance."

Cassia with yoko rob lucci's wife Cassia smiled weakly, appreciating the tom's concern. "Well... It's not the bird. It's something else," she muttered, an uneasy feeling spreading through her fur. "When I was little, something happened. And I can't quite put my paw on it. I wasn't an only kit, I had a brother, but from all these wicked nightmares I suppose I had a sister. Something happened to her, and the worst part is, I myself don't know what." It seemed like a heavy stone had lifted from her heart as she spilled out her thoughts. She realized once again that having someone to share your thoughts with was amazing; she forgot what it felt like.

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko walked closer to the molly and faced her as he sat down on the dusty ground. He looked down at her listening carefully to her words. The tom was surprised some molly was able to trust him enough to talk about something that has been troubling them for a while. When it came to mollies, Yoko would only achieve small talk as he didn't care for actual conversation, he would simply go for what he wanted and leave. Yoko didn't like commitment. He didn't like to think of the responsibility he would have to carry if he became mates with a molly, he preferred to just do his own thing with no limits or guilt haunting him for breaking some molly's heart who'd he never see again. " A nightmare, huh." he dipped his head before continuing, " I haven't had one since I was a kit, but hopefully they can stop plaguing both your mind and sleep. ". The white tom stared at her with his deep amber eyes. There was no doubt about that he was starting to feel uncomfortable staying with the loner as he felt like he was already committed into something. He wanted to escape the abandoned two-leg place, but not completely abandon Cassia forever. His fur was starting to feel hot and itchy from frustration from simply not being able to woo Cassia, the only thing he felt confident at. " I think you should try resting your eyes for a bit. I say lay by the reflective hole on the wall, as it's actually wonderful seeing the sky change colors as the storm is brewing.", he purred to Cassia. The loner decided he would temporarily leave when the storm passed.

Cassia with yoko rob lucci's wife Cassia was surprised by the fact that Yoko knew how to do something else other then flirt with mollies, but she didn't show it. "Thanks," she murmured, blinking briefly before following Yoko's advice; she leaped off the bed and walked to the crack in the wall. She tucked her paws beneath her, but she still fet uncomfortable.
"Oh, I forgot." She trotted back to the wooden box, grabbing the pile of fluff. She then returned to her spot near the crack, placing the fluff next to it. She laid down on it, her mind already begging her to sleep. She rested her head on her paws, curling her tail around herself.
"I said don't go there, &#@$! You'll get hurt."
"No I won't, I promise, I'll be okay, nothing will ha-"
"&#@$!! Are you okay?! &#@$...?"
Not this again, she pondered miserably, not moving a muscle. There was no way she'd let Yoko know anything else about these nightmares. She would just prove herself vulnerable.
"Mom! Mom, &#@$ won't wake up!"
No, no, no, no. Why don't I remember? Did I forget her?
She half opened her eyes, suddenly grief stricken. Her sister had been through death so young and she let her get lost in her memory. She closed her eyes again, determined to fall alseep.
Earlier, all her nightmares were sound oriented- she never saw anything. However, this nightmare was vivid.
"Mom, please, where are you?" Her vision clouded with tears, and she looked at her paws. They were splashed with blood; her claws were still clean. She turned back to a small body laying in a smaller puddle of blood.
"Please don't die on me, please," she cried, nuzzling her sister's body. "I won't. Get... those herbs mom uses," she coughed, "to help us when we get hurt." Cassia's hystery increased. "Okay! I-I'll get them..!"
Cassia's eyes opened once more. The storm outside reminded her of her mind recently; dark and loud. As the clouds reflected in her eyes, her mind was clouded by one question; why can't I remember?

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko watched as Cassia jump towards the area that he suggested she should rest at earlier. He noticed the molly was already ready to rest. He sighed and laid down, copying the same position as Cassia. Yoko kept thinking to himself, questioning as to why he so bravely accepted an alliance with the molly. Sure he was going to receive shelter, protection, and food, but he couldn't help but think how he felt so swamped in responsibilities in less than a day. Yoko's eyes focused on the ground as he continued to silently think. I'm sorry Cassia, but I might have to go so soon and break the promise I made just today.., Yoko said in his mind as his gaze shifted to the molly who was noticeably twitching lightly. His sad amber eyes continued to watch Cassia and her abnormal small movements occurring in her sleep. Yoko continued to think of ways to leave Cassia without the molly noticing. The white feline decided to finally get up and go to where Cassia was resting so he could think more clearly as he grew attached to that spot already. As he got there, the tom sat behind Cassia, not noticing the dark calico was awake. Yoko walked to her curled body and laid next to her, pressing his white warm coat softly against her contrasting fur. Yoko laid his narrow head on his big paws. Oh Yoko, what are you going to do to not make this molly kill you when you leave after this dangerous storm?

CassiaCassia noticed the loner was lying next to her rather by touch then by vision. This didn't bother her; atleast she'd feel less alone.
"Mom? Is... is Si$+#-..." I'm back here. Great, she pondered. Her mother's familiar, sweet face held grief and her eyes looked red and puffy. She leaned down to touch noses with her daughter. "It's just us three now, Cassia. Si$+#- is happier now."
Cassia's heart began to race, and her head pounded horribly. Suddenly she broke out in a loud, griefstricken cry, tears streaming down her face as she yowled in pain. Her mother pulled her close, and they stayed like that for a while.
What if I can interact with the cats in my dreams, Cassia speculated, I mean, this is a dream like any other. More like a nightmare I'm aware of... What if I ask her something?
"Mother, is this real?" The queen's eyes widened, and she glanced at her daughter with pure shock and fear in her eyes. "You weren't meant to find out."
"What?! This isn't real, this memory is..." She began to shake, unsheathing her claws. "I can't die here, can I? I'll kill you! You lied to me!" Her mother's eyes filled with regret and sympathy. She backed off softly, her tail between her hind legs and her fur puffed up. "This is what you wanted to know. Are you happy now?" Shock washed over the patch furred molly. That was true, she wanted to know. It was too late now. She had to think things through. "Goodbye," she whispered.
She opened her eyes again, bliss conquering her mind. Now that she knew she'd be able to control her dreams, she felt better. She closed her eyes, and, to her surprise, there was no more nightmares. One question remained; was her sister real? Were these nightmares her own mind playing wicked tricks on her?
She decided to stop thinking for once. No more questions for me, atleast not now, she thought blissfully as she drifted off to sleep.

Whitepaw »
Pain shot up and down Whitepaw’s leg with every move she made, every breath she took. Hot blood trickled down her leg, staining the white and brown fur red. For what it was worth, Whitepaw pushed onward, trying her best to keep her face straight rather than twisted with agony. A few times she bit her tongue to swallow down a whimper whenever her leg moved just a bit too fast for the wound. Most of the pain was a sharp stinging where the fangs had penetrated flesh, but the shock of it all was amping the symptoms. Boas weren’t venomous like kraits were, that much the scout apprentice knew. She wasn’t in any danger of dying from this bite, but it still hurt, and she was sure to be sore the next day. Her ego was wounded as well. She should have been able to kill the boa easily, and now it had slithered away - hopefully to bleed to death, but who could really be for sure? And to add to everything, Butterflypaw had watched Whitepaw’s failure. That stung as much as the wound on her leg did.
After what felt like an agonizingly slow hour, Whitepaw finally slumped her body against a tree. Awkwardly she was placed, but she didn’t care. She barely heard what Butterflypaw was saying despite wanting to concentrate on the pretty molly in front of her. Eventually she was able to hold her leg up, placing it atop a nearby tree stump that was luckily there. Her paw fumbled with where to place it, Butterflypaw eventually guiding it for Whitepaw. She breathed out a wavering “thanks” before the calico left, leaving Whitepaw alone against the tree. While alone her head filled with thoughts. How she had been reluctant to put Butterflypaw in danger, how the calico had gotten stuck in thorns, how the boa had appeared. Whitepaw had wanted to impress Butterflypaw, wanted to kill the boa in an effortless display of bravado. Yet here she was, crumbled like a leaf against a stump, leg wounded and blood trickling down her leg. It was a pathetic display really, but at least it would make for a cool scar one day.
Rain began to fall steadily from the clouds, dampening Whitepaw’s pelt and cleaning off some of the blood. She looked at Butterflypaw through the drizzle, eyes squinting against water droplets. ”You’re sorry? What for? You have nothing to apologize for.” Whitepaw held her breath, hiding a wince as cobweb was layered over the wound. ”I wanted to go after the boa, and I would have gone by myself, too. Imagine what would have happened if you weren’t here.” The scout apprentice nodded sharply toward her wounded leg, trying to reassure the obviously guilt-riddled healer apprentice. ”I’m…I’m glad you’re here with me,” she admitted sheepishly, fur prickling with warmth even against the rainfall.
Redwave »
Duskflight believed the rightful leader to be him? Redwave wasn’t sure why that surprised him when it was what he had wanted to hear the old tom say to begin with. Perhaps there was something different about wishing and then getting that wish to come true. How did Duskflight feel about his littermates? What had made Redwave stand out?
He stood there on the beach, contemplating. His sisters were good cats, all capable of doing great things for their Clan. Though, thinking more on it, Algaewing, for as fiery and passionate as she was, was more in love with her herbs and remedies than she was about leadership. Tearing her away from what she loved doing would only crush her, Redwave was sure of that. Lilypool was gentle, a cat that would make for a nurturing leader, but there was no gall to even out her softness. Should battle be the only option Lilypool would never be able to make that call. Then there was Jacarandabloom. She was a lot like Redwave in a lot of ways. Passionate and determined, she would have made for an incredible oracle. But did she have the heart to do something about all this? Would she be willing to go as far as Redwave? That’s where Redwave believed his scout sister failed. It was he that was willing to push his limits. It was he who was willing to step forward and make the change that was needed, regardless on how hard it may be. He was willing to do anything to set things right, and nothing was going to stop him.
Thunder clapped up above. Redwave grunted as rain began to fall, absorbing into his fur. Through the mist of rain he looked at Duskflight, determination alive in his posture and on his visage. ”I’ll do everything I can. Now, let’s head back to camp.” He had been avoiding camp for some time now, but now he had no reason to hide any longer.

Coconutfall »
Coconutfall believed in his daughter. He knew she was capable of great things, great ideas. Part of him wasn’t fond of the idea of destroying eggs in which lay innocent lives, but one day those eggs would hatch and grow into adults. Adults were a danger to Clan cats, one of the few predators they actually had on the island. Perhaps it would be best to take them out before they could hatch, if there were any eggs in the boa’s nest to start with. He nodded his approval after a moment of ruminating on it all. ”You’re young, but I believe you’ve gained enough respect for your fellow scouts to follow you.” In a mission like this it would have been best to send an older, more experienced scout in as the leader, but Jacarandabloom’s intensity was a force to be reckoned with. Who better to lead this patrol than his very own daughter? She had come up with the plan, and not only that, but it was clear to Coconutfall that she wanted to do this. A cat who wanted to do something would always work harder and be better than a cat who was forced into a role. That was something the brown tabby knew all too well.
”As this patrol’s leader, I’ll leave it to you to decide who you want to bring. You’ll know better than I would,” he admitted. While it should have been him who decided on who went and who stayed in camp, Coconutfall couldn’t bring himself to decide on such a thing. Left in charge he would have offered up the choice of Sandheart, knowing just how capable the ginger molly was, but speaking her name around his daughter, let alone putting her on the same patrol as the dilute tabico, was sure to end in disaster, and that was the last thing this mission needed.
All the while they spoke, the camp grew darker. Coconutfall shifted his gaze toward the camp’s exit, ears angling forward. He was able to catch the faint echoes of rainfall. ”The storm’s here,” he murmured just as thunder rolled in the skies above. The worst of it had yet to reach camp, and even when it did the camp was sheltered enough from nature, but that didn’t stop Coconutfall’s concern from twisting inside him. ”Take the rest of today to rest and prepare. Take the patrol out at dawn.” By then the storm should be gone, if not lingering with a light rainfall by morning. If that weren’t the case Coconutfall supposed they could wait another day before attacking, but even he realized that the sooner they acted on this, then the better it would be for all of HibiscusClan. Skinkstripe »
Skinkstripe couldn’t stop the twitch of amusement of her whiskers the moment Horizonkit noticed Cliffstorm’s arrival. She realized then that her son was far more family orientated than he was food driven, the dove left behind for her to pluck at while Cliffstorm and Horizonkit played. ”He acts like he hasn’t seen you in moons,” the queen teased, eyes alight with laughter as she watched the two toms for a moment.
A protective mother, Skinkstripe wouldn’t let her kits go unwatched by her with just any cat in the Clan. She would let them play with any cat so long as they were willing, but she’d keep a very close eye on them. When it came to Cliffstorm, though, she trusted the scout to not hurt her son and to make sure he didn’t wander off where he shouldn’t. Knowing he was in good paws, she leaned down and focused her attention on the fruit dove that had been brought over. She plucked a few feathers off the bird’s chest, leaving them in a pile next to her so that she could give some to her litter to play with while the other feathers would be knitted into her nest. The meat itself was tender, still fresh from what had to be last evening’s hunting patrol. Skinkstripe purred ever so slightly, for even while it stormed outside, all was peaceful in her personal little bubble inside camp.

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·As Yoko was lost in thought, his busy mind was interrupted by Cassia's light shaking. It wasn't disturbing him at all. but he wondered what was happening with the molly as she slept. Possibly another nightmare? Yoko raised his head and looked at the loner. She was still twitching, but it was getting less frequent. Yoko notice her fur started to feel cold opposed to how warm it was earlier. Worried drowned Yoko as he felt uneasy that Cassia was going through something devastating. He blinked and looked down before focusing his attention back to Cassia. This might be the time to make her like me, even if it's just a tiny bit!, the tom thought as he moved his body closer to Cassia. Yoko moved his head and laid it on her shoulders. He purred softly as he felt a bit more comfortable laying like this.

Sunshine ; 'Sunny'
With - [ Ebony ]
Location - [ Lost In HibiscusClan Territory]
The large tabby tomcat was much too preoccupied by his own babbling and concern to take much notice of the shadow-coloured molly that approached him with caution. The wild weather was causing a pressing sense of urgency in the tom and he paused his aimless wandering to watch as the trees shuddered and stretched in the ruthless triage of the wind. He frowned, aware of two things. The first was that this wild territory in these tumultuous conditions was no place for a cat like he. The second was that he was inexplicably and dreadfully lost. Wind whistling in his ears, he scanned the area for signs of life or a safe place for him to rest his tired paws until the weather calmed.
Unfortunately, he did not locate anywhere that would be an ideal place for him to break. However, there was one thing that inspired intrigued; it appears to be another cat. He squinted his eyes and leaned his head forward subconsciously, "It wouldn't be the first time I've mistaken a boar for a cat," he mumbled absently to himself. The figured that crept through the undergrowth was certainly much smaller in size - smaller even than he - and had blue eyes that shone like rare gems amongst the greens and browns that surrounded them. At long last, he'd found a forest native!
"You! You there!" Sunshine made haste in trampling through the undergrowth and closing the distance between him and the newfound stranger. "I need help! I've become lost in this forsaken forest and when I retrace my pawsteps I find myself back where I started! With the weather brewing a storm I fear that I'm in certain danger unless I can find someone who can help me!" His yellow-green eyes were wide with earnest concern, "Not to mention I can't remember the last time I ate; I daresay I'll collapse at a moments notice," his desperate tone turned to one as sorrow as his words continued until, finally, he looked rather pitiful.
Rookfall
With - [ Lilypool ; Seabreeze ]
Location - [ Leaving Palm Coast ]
It was true that many other scouts preferred the task of patrolling with hunters. Many times, a scout would also be able to catch a piece of prey or two, long as they did not become too distracted from their original task. It gave them a purpose other than protecting the patrol that most found to be invigorating. When scouting with healers, there was a general lack of knowledge that prevented scouts from indulging in collecting herbs with healers, and thus, the scouts would swiftly exhaust of their interest in the patrol. Truthfully, Rookfall felt this way on more than one occasion in all his time of scouting with healers. It had been some time ago, however, when he found himself feeling particularly fond of the idea of helping the healers, and this had increased tenfold with his newfound knowledge bestowed upon him by Vanillabloom.
"Ready?" The word was spoken around a mouthful of lime leaves. Rookfall nodded between Seabreeze and then Lilypool and then began the trek back to camp, taking the head of the patrol.
He ducked his head against a particularly strong gust of wind, clamping his jaw against the mawful of leaves in fear they would be ripped from his teeth by the incessant wind. Storms were no stranger to the HibiscusClan cats, especially during the wet season, yet this day promised a particularly vicious tempest. Although he desired to commune with Lilypool - having felt their interaction was cut short - there was no way for him to speak clearly. He would have to find another time to talk to her... his mind already began formulating ideas that might allow him to be in her company.
Thankfully, the sky withheld it's downpour for the duration of their journey back to camp. He would not be surprised, however, if the deluge of rain started in a heartbeats notice. As the patrol pushed through the clan entrance, Rookfall glanced up the dangerously full clouds above. He continued across the camp and paused by the healers den to allow for the healers to enter first and give him direction.
Sandheart
With - [ Mintsong ]
Location - [ Camp ]
Truthfully, Sandheart hardly knew what to say towards her bristling littermate. Her green eyes clouded with pain and a desperate yearning to console her sister, yet when she opened her maw she felt a drought of words. What could she say? Between the boa attacks, the infestation of strange bugs, and the secrets of herself and Coconutfall coming to light it had become a rather turbulent time. "Well, yes - it's been quite..." she faltered despite her desperate attempt to find words. There was no over-exaggerating the guilt she felt towards her sister who now likely felt just as displaced as Sandheart did. What can I do? Sandheart wanted to wail. I just want to love Coconutfall and be happy!
A droplet of rain descended and landed on Sandheart shoulders, causing the molly to wince. This uncomfortable sensation was no match for the sudden flood of anxiety that Mintsong's unanticipated question caused. Sandheart's inhaled a short breath through her maw, staring at her orange sister's pained eyes. In all truth... she didn't know if she ever planned to unfold the verity to her sibling. Life hadn't been easy when she had to secretly steal moments with Coconutfall, however, it had become a routine, and the longer it transpired, the less she felt that others would be accepting of the fact. It was a cruel punishment for the secret to be forced from her because of the Ocean.
Looking down at her paws, Sandheart shook her head slowly. "I never wanted to hurt you, Mintsong," she pleaded, "I didn't want to deceive you!" Turning her green gaze to match her sisters once more, she continued, "You have to understand how... delicate the situation was. I-I have always loved Coconutfall!" She spoke his name with conviction and clamped her eyes closed as she her tone became stronger. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you! I know now, in hindsight, I should have. I just didn't want to... ruin things!"
Her shoulders sagged, energy sapped from her veins. She wasn't sure if her apology would be enough to convince her headstrong sister, she wasn't sure if anything she might say would satiate her.
Drizzlefur
With - [ Risingbrook ]
Location - [ Forest ]
The look of distaste on the toms countenance was both amusing and surprising to the molly, who had assumed that Risingbrook wouldn't mind fishing given his general like for water. She tipped her head, a gentle smile on her expression. "Hunt for birds? You can try, I suppose, but you should know that in this weather the birds are nested. It'll be hard to even catch their scent since the wind is so all over the place." It was perhaps an understatement, given the wind was not just 'all over the place' but was whipping wildly in every contradictory direction.
"You can go hunt for birds, I'll be fishing." She determined with no ill-will to her tone.

[ Tealraven - i was going to do something with featherfoot too but realised i wasn't sure where oceanwave was at the moment Cx did you have any ideas for how they should interact?
also with sunshine, he has just met ebony in the forest but he is currently lost in the territory. i doubt ebony will be able to offer him much help in his predicament since she is a kittypet (sorry ebony xD). but basically sunshine has ventured into the forest to hunt because his twoleg died and he is hungry. ]

( We can reuse my starter on pg 20 since that scene didn't end up going anywhere! Wavecrest is at the beach failing at fishing. Featherfoot could be with him as part of a hunter patrol or something ~ )

RISINGBROOK With - Drizzlefur Location - Outside Camp Tag - aether RISINGBROOK GROANED INWARDLY, getting Drizzlefur's point. Why had he agreed to go out? He wished now he had thought through hunting more thoroughly. "Fine, fine we'll fish," he grumbled. He should have known that he wouldn't be able to hunt on land. He screwed up his face, putting his paw in the water again. The heavy feeling of water-soaked fur on his paw made him instantly regret it. Eww.. who liked water, anyway? He scrambled up the bank, then, remembering the contest, looked up to dry land, then down back to the ocean. Making a decision, he scuttled back down. To his great dismay, he misjudged the distance to the shore and and scuttled right into the water, then falling down, not expecting the flow of water pushing back. He came up from the shallow water, sputtering in surprise, his whole body soaked. He shook the water off disgustedly, not quite succeeding. Stupid, stupid water. He glanced at Drizzlefur. This is awkward. How I hate water.

CassiaJust before she drifted off to sleep, Cassia felt something on her shoulder, accompanied by a soft purr. She placed her tail on Yoko's shoulder. "Thank you," she murmured as she closed her eyes once more and fell asleep.
This time, she was peaceful. She didn't shake or twitch; the only movement her body made was her chest rising up and down as she slept. Occasionally she would move lightly, usually caused by the dust getting to her nose.
The storm outside was getting worse. Cassia, however, loved the sound of a storm. It put her to sleep easily. She didn't know why; it was just something that triggered peace in the she-cat; peace that she had longed to feel for a long time.

Ebony with sunny aether
Ebony's fur flattened as she recognized this cat as one who didn't mean any harm. "You say you are lost, huh?" She didn't know what to think of the tom yet; he looked a bit like a kittypet, but at the same time, he looked a tad less chubby than one.
"I don't know what you thought, but, I'm a kittypet. I came here looking for, um, a few cats," she mumbled, sorrow enveloping her blue eyes for a moment as she tilted her head towards the pink collar wrapped around her neck. "But I know where my Twolegs live by heart, except I'm not sure I'll find them that easily through this bunch of trees and dirt and... ugh!" She shook her front paw to repell a shiny looking bug sitting on it, disgust painting itself on her face. "Ew, these things are gross," she mewed, licking her paw hurriedly and efficiently. "Alright, where was I? Oh, right. We're both sort of lost, but I could try finding my Twolegs! I believe I know where they are."
She sniffed the ground beneath her. Much to contrary belief, despite her being a kittypet, she can still scent quite well. After a bit of searching, she smelled her own scent. She looked at the tom happily, about to announce the fact she had found the scent that'll lead them home, until she sheepishly realized she doesn't know who this cat is. "By the way, what's your name?" She stared at him with wide eyes, realizing how much his pelt reminded her of one of her kits. "My name is Ebony."

Yoko // ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ ·Yoko smiled faintly seeing the small act that Cassia did. " You're welcome.", he replied quietly as he pressed his pink nose against her warm neck. The tom knew couldn't fall asleep, so he decided to take advantage of this energy to simply observe the loner he was laying against. The tom enjoyed the silence between the two and he sighed. Oh, how he wished he was able to live a normal life and settle down with some random molly, but his head told him otherwise. He moved his head away from Cassia's fur and he laid his head on his paws. His ears perked listening to the harsh wind hit the two-leg place they were taking shelter in. Although Yoko, would usually hate the loud sounds of a forming storm, this time he found it a bit soothing. Perhaps it was because he wasn't alone this time. Yoko blinked before yawning. Hmm, where did all my energy go? Doesn't matter I should try to sleep through this storm so that I can get out of here quicker. The tom stretched his paws in front of him before closing his eyes. He felt tranquility before he felt something crawling on his back. His fur spiked up in discomfort and he opened his eyes quickly, turning to see a spider on his back. A small brown one. " S-s-spider!", he yowled before getting up quickly and hitting Cassia's face with his tail. Yoko aggressively shook his white fur for a minute before stepping on his paw and falling onto the ground. He checked to see if the spider fell off of him, but it didn't and he yelped once more before laying on his back on the floor filled with dirt, wood dust, and dust, trying to get rid of the spider even if it meant dirtying his precious well-kept fur he held pride in. " Get off! Get off! Get off!", he hissed as his amber eyes stared at his shoulders as he wiggled trying to at least squash the spider.

with yoko rob lucci's wife Cassia's tranquil sleep was disturbed by Yoko's yelling and a smack in the face, presumably with a tail. "Yoko, what's going on?!" Worry crawled into her mind. What if something bad had happened?
Fortunately, the only bad thing happening was seemingly a spider crawling onto the tom's fur. "Yoko, calm down, it's not that big of a deal," she mewed, sleepiness echoing in her voice. She half walked half dragged herself to the loner, pushing him onto his stomach with her muzzle and scanning his fur for the spider. Scoffing, she put her paw in front of the spider. It climbed onto her paw, and she walked back to the crack in the wall, limping due to the spider's presence, and dropped it outside. It quickly crawled away, and it was nowhere to be seen anymore.
"There. Problem solved. Are you really that scared of spiders?" She smirked, laying back down on the white nest. "Guess you're more of a damsel in distress than I am," she teased, a mischievous glint in her green eyes. She felt guilty teasing him, because of the comfort he had given her earlier. She hoped he'd understand she's joking.

Lilypool »
Jaws clamped tightly around the lime leaves, Lilypool nodded in response to Rookfall’s question. She took a quick glance toward Seabreeze, wanting to make sure that the blue-gray healer was prepared to leave as well. Once she felt comfortable that both her companions were ready, she started the walk back to camp.
By now the wind was whistling through the trees, shaking the canopies wildly back and forth. The first time the healer had ever witnessed a storm coming in, she had been frightened, fur fluffed out and body pressed up against her mentor with wide eyes staring up at the dark sky. She had been told not to worry, that they would make it back to camp before the storm unleashed its fury, and while her mentor had kept their promise, she had still been terrified, jumping at the thunder and shrinking in her pelt at the first signs of rainfall. Now, though, she was more accustomed to the storms. She realized they could be dangerous, but usually the Ocean got the worst of it, and by the time it rolled up inland, the storm’s rage was dying down.
Only a few splatterings of rain had fallen onto Lilypool’s pelt by the time the patrol had returned to camp. The tabico turned to head toward the healers’ den, but she paused momentarily in her walk to glance around camp, where her soft green eyes landed on the scene of Sandheart and Mintsong. Lilypool’s heart twisted at the sight. The two mollies had once been rather close, but now that everything had come to light it was obvious that a wedge had been driven between them. In a way Lilypool could understand Mintsong’s rage - cats had been hurt by this. Tradition was being questioned, families were driven apart. But she could also understand Sandheart’s side of the story. In the few times she had noticed Sandheart and Coconutfall interact since Tigerpaw had been chosen as neophyte, she had witnessed with her own eyes the unconditional love the two shared between one another. While riddled with stress no doubt, it was clear that they found comfort in one another, and Lilypool had to wonder why the Clan was angry at them for just wanting to love and be loved. The healer didn’t want to think that the Ocean was wrong in picking Vanillabloom for Coconutfall - after all, had it not, Lilypool herself wouldn’t even be here - but it was clear to her that her father and Sandheart truly, deeply cared for one another. It would be cruel to keep them apart. Should Lilypool ever fall in love she’d never want something to tear her away from her mate. As she thought that her gaze couldn’t help but drift back to Rookfall, something stirring inside her chest. The feeling was odd, she wasn’t sure what it was, but she didn’t ignore it. Instead she let it stay, a gentle warmth spreading over her.
This feeling followed her even once inside the healers’ den, but soon she was back to business, focusing on making sure all the lime leaves were properly stored. Emptying her jaws, she placed her own cache on the ground nearby. ”We can make a pile of the leaves here. I’ll sort them out and store them,” she told the two, deciding to take on the task of putting them up herself so that Seabreeze could focus on something else if she so desired, though if she wanted to help Lilypool with her task then the tabico would not say no. Again her attention fluttered to Rookfall, where a smile pulled at her lips. ”Thanks for helping us today. It was nice having you around.” That last part wasn’t something she had planned on saying, the words just sort of fell off her tongue without warning; her heart fluttered against her chest, running embarrassment through her, but she outwardly remained calm, taking in mind that at least the words spoken were true.
