I had a feeling Needletail would end up with Rain if she didn't end up with Alderheart. What's your opinion on Needletail?
Also, can you post Sparkpelt's warrior ceremony?

Is there any interactions between Tigerheart and Dovewing? If so, what is it? Does it seem that she has any opinion on him as deputy of ShadowClan? Needletail, ew. Does Twigpaw want to be a Medicine Cat? And what's Ivypool like in this book? It doesn't say what Dovewing thinks of him being ShC deputy, but those two had some tension between them in chapter 4.
Tigerheart held her gaze for a moment, then growled. "You still have to be the smartest cat in the Clan."
Dovewing's blue eyes flashed in the gloom. "And you still have to be the most arrogant"
By the end of the book, Tigerheart is currently in ThunderClan. And this was what it stated about him.
He always seemed to have one eye on the blue-eyed she-cat. Dovewing seemed unaware of it now, deep in conversation with Bumblestripe. But Tigerheart kept watching, his eyes narrowing as Bumblestripe moved closer to his Clanmate.
A shiver ran through Alderpaw's fur. Do Dovewing and Tigerheart share some kind of history? The sooner these ShadowClan cats are gone, the better.
Twigpaw does know some stuff about medicine to spending a lot of time in the medicine cat den as a kit. But she hasn't said anything else being one. Only when she was a kit she said. She wanted to be special.
Ivypool is Twigpaw's mentor and they get along pretty well. Though for some reason, she decided to tell Twigpaw that Dovewing and Tigerheart used to have feelings for each other. She really doesn't like Tigerheart being in TC.

I find it funny how you got Thunder Rising early and this one early as well. I bet if there's going to be another arc, you'll get Book 2 of that arc early also.

Thanks for posting all of this Faith! Do you have a favorite part of the book? Not really. I just liked the peaceful bits. There was so much tension. Those ShC apprentices were a menace...
Though I liked when Harespring defied his leader to give ShadowClan the herb they so desperately needed. If not for Harespring, I'm certain half of ShC would have died. Looks like there is hope for WC future leadership after all.

As for Leafpaw, Honeypaw and Larkpaw's mentor, I'm not sure. I think two of them were Rosepetal and Bumblestripe, but I could be wrong. It never really told us.
Violetpaw's mentor was Dawnpelt. And Grassheart's kits are named Flowerpaw, Snakepaw and Whorlpaw. I'm not sure who their mentors are. I think Lionpaw's mentor is Snowbird. Not sure about Birchpaw. Slatekit vanished altogether, so no clue what happened to him. The last time he was seen was in chapter 2.
In WindClan, we have Brindlepaw. In RiverClan we have Nightpaw, Breezepaw, Wavepaw and Cypresspaw. Though those two just came out of nowhere. They aren't Lakeheart's kits and they were stated to be new apprentices. At least the book confirmed they were littermates. Which reminds me, Lakeheart's kits should be apprentices by now as well.

There isn't anything to post. Sparkpelt was about to start her assessment at the end of chapter 6 and then the beginning of chapter 7 is everyone calling out her name.
I liked Needletail more in TAQ. Here we really saw more about her. She's rude to her Clan, she looked on with glee when Darktail attacked Rowanstar and was satisfied when Rowanstar lost, though she really likes Violetpaw. Needletail was hurt when Violetpaw went back to the Clan. And she really cares for Rain. When Darktail and Rain fought she frantically tried to stop it and then immediately went to check if Rain was alright. She cared for him for the rest of the night.
I'm mixed on her right now.

What's your opinion on Tigerheart? Has he matured? He's alright. Really, it's not all that surprising Rowanstar named him the new deputy. He was one of the few cats who was still loyal to him. |

I'd like to see a fight Between Violetpaw and Needletail. That would be interesting. Especially since they've been portrayed as friends. Violetpaw and Needletail I bet are friends but what I read in spoilers Needletail is more thinking about herself and love interest than Violetpaw and what she thinks in the matter a friend listens to her friend if Needletail really cared she let Violetpaw stay. NeedleTail I feel veiws Violetpaw more as a trophy than another cat with feelings. Also yes it would because I bet Violetpaw will get tired of Needletails attitude. |

What happened to Dawnpelt since you been saying you feel sad for her. Two of the cats who joined Darktail were her kits, Sleekwhisker and Juniperclaw. Then sometime after her mate, Crowfrost, died from the sickness. She is shown to be sad. Her only kit left was Strikestone. Then in the end when Darktail and his rogues take over the camp Dawnpelt is forced to chose between her parents and brother or her kits.
As he turned and retreated to the medicine cat den, Sleekwhisker padded forward and fixed her gaze and Dawnpelt. "Didn't you miss me and Juniperclaw?"
Violetpaw felt Dawnpelt stiffen beside her, but her mentor could hardly meet her kit's gaze. "You betrayed your Clan," she mumbled.
"But we've come to help them. And you." Sleekwhisker's eyes glittered in the moonlight. "Now that Crowfrost is dead, we're all you have."
Dawnpelt puffed out her chest. "I still have Strikestone." But as she glanced at the young tom, he backed away. "Are you staying?" She sounded like she could hardly believe it.
"Where else can I go?" Strikestone murmured. "Where can you go? This is our home."
Dawnpelt hesitated.
"You can't stay!" Violetpaw stared at her desperately, but she could see resignation in her mentor's gaze.
"He's right," Dawnpelt whispered. "I can't leave every single one of my kits. And this is the only home I've known. How can I leave?" She blinked apologetically at Rowanstar, her father, and then Tawnypelt and Tigerheart.
