StormSplash yeah I mean, if Onestar was angry when Darktail had taken over by then I could understand- since he would basically be dealing with the cats that caused her death. But he was angry before that happened, when most of ShadowClan had nothing to do with the rogues so... weird. If anything, I'd think he'd blame ThunderClan for not patrolling enough or something so they could have helped them faster.

So which characters do you think the book emphasized on the most? You'd think it's be mostly revolved around Violetpaw and Twigpaw, but I haven't heard a ton of focus on them- unless I'm wrong.

Alright. Do you mind giving a complete summary on exactly what happens in the book? I can try. Oh, and btw, wasn't Yarrowpaw a tom in TAQ? I'll start from chapter 4, since you already know the rest from the preview:
Bramblestar, Dovewing, Bumblestripe, Cherryfall, Stormcloud and Alderpaw go to ShadowClan to warn them about the rogues. ShC isn't happy to see them and there is also some tension between Dovewing and Tigerheart. TC and ShC look for the rogues on ShC territory because the scent is there. And Alderpaw is also looking for Needlepaw whom he can't find. Before TC goes home, Alderpaw asks if he can stay a little longer to talk with Leafpool (and see Violetkit). It seems Puddlepaw told Leafpool that he wanted to be a warrior like his littermates before Rowanstar told him that he was going to be a medicine cat. And there have been no signs or visions. Leafpool tells Alderpaw that she'll be a little while longer still. Needlepaw comes into camp next and Alderpaw asks where she was. She says that she was in twolegplace though Alderpaw can tell she's hiding something. She's acting kind of strange. Needlepaw and Violetkit were also shown to be getting along great.
(Forget that. I'm writing the rest like this)
- Needelpaw is stated to be Violetkit's only friend. - Needlepaw comes for Violetkit and decides to take both her and Sleekpaw somewhere. Sleekpaw is not that friendly... - Violetkit thought they were going to see her sister, but instead they go and see the rogues. Needlepaw and Rain seem happy to see each other. It's also stated that she told the rogues about Violetkit. And she told Sleekpaw about the rogues. Sleekpaw wanted to meet them. The rogues are acting surprisingly friendly.
- Twigkit hears Rosepetal and Mousewhisker talking about her and they mention the prophecy. They wonder if she really is special and state that she seems to be an ordinary kit. - Twigkit leaves the camp to find watermint to prove to everyone that she is special. But she falls into the lake. She thinks she hears her mothers voice while she is in the water. But it turns out to just be Sparkpaw. The flame-colored apprentice saves Twigkit from drowning. - Cherryfall tells Bramblestar that Sparkpaw saved Twigkit from drowning and he states that it's time for Sparkpaw's assessment.
- Sparkpaw becomes Sparkpelt. - Alderpaw and Jayfeather go to the Moonpool. - Willowshine tells Alderpaw that he'll be a great medicine cat and that he's being trained by one of the best. - Kestrelflight comes with Gorsetail and Sedgewhisker because Onestar doesn't want one cat to leave camp alone. - Every cat in WC is scared of Onestar and he puts half the Clan on punishment duty for breaking one code or another. - Puddlepaw is stated to be a fast learner. - StarClan doesn't speak to any of the medicine cats. - Everyone goes back to their own Clans.
- Needlepaw is finally caught taking Violetkit out of camp by Tawnypelt. - Tawnypelt takes them to Rowanstar and tells him what Needlepaw's been doing. - Needlepaw starts arguing with Rowanstar and the other apprentice's back her up. It was kind of like a rebellion. Strikepaw told Rowanstar and Crowfrost (his father) that it would be wise to treat them with respect.

I looked it up, and Yarrowpaw was a tom in the previous book. He was listed as a she-cat in this book.

I wonder why StarClan isn't talking to the medicine cats anymore. They still speak to the medicine cats. That's how Puddleshine found out what the cure was. Runningnose told him. Runningnose also said that this sickness was called Yellowcough. And Kestrelflight spoke to StarClan to ask if it was alright to follow through with Harespring's plan. Harespring was the only cat who went with Kestrelflight at that one medicine cat meeting. He insisted on only himself going with Kestrelflight. And Yellowfang spoke for Alderpaw at one point. Speaking of which...who in the world told Alderpaw that Yellowfang had killed her own son? Who even knew that Yellowfang and Brokenstar were mother and son? Anyways, Yellowfang told Alderpaw to speak out for what he believes and then left. |

Is Dove x Tiger hinted at all? Yep! In chapter 4 when the TC patrol go to visit ShC to warn them about the rogues Dovewing and Tigerheart are shown to have some tension going on between each other. It's hinted that Tigerheart still has feelings for Dovewing. You see, Tigerheart is now in TC and Ivypool is not at all happy about that. She even told Twigpaw that Tigerheart and Dovewing used to have feelings with one another.
And I feel like it won't be long until Alderheart picks up on it. According to his chapter, Tigerheart always has one eye on the blue-eyed she-cat and he seemed jealous when Dovewing was talking with Bumblestripe. Alderpaw could pick up that they had some history together.

But after Violetkit joined them they stopped acting kind. They are pretty mean. Darktail told Rain that he couldn't eat because he didn't catch enough prey and that was when Rain spoke up to him. You already know what happened. Needletail tried to stop it and went right to Rain afterwards. Violetkit watched in horror and this is the reason she chose to go back to ShC.

So just clarifying... is ShC just Darktail's "puppet clan" now? Cause if Violetkit eventually "left" the rogues to be with ShC, that means that the rogues and ShC must be separate- or at least, have different camps. Are the two groups just two groups of rogues now or something?
