Brambleheart with Echobranch, Lynxpaw and Hailflurry - Patrol, between the Camp and the Meadow Ember34 *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•*Brambleheart nodded to himself when he saw the others following him. So far, so good. he thought. Brambleheart asked Echobranch and Hailflurry, seeing that they both seemed worried (he did not want them to be doubtful of anything), "Should we circle around the upper part of the forest, around the meadow to the cliff and back to camp, or start at the meadow, to the cliff and head around the forest and back to camp?" Either way was fine with him, but he kind of wanted to find something dangerous to face off and prove to the others that he was capable. //BTW Brambleheart's first option would mean that the patrol would find Vanilla first, end the patrol abruptly and head back to camp, and the second would mean that the patrol would find Vanilla as they are heading back to camp.

Stonefleck-Beach Open
Stonefleck lets out a small sigh knowing that he couldn't stay at the beach forever. Rising to his paws, he shakes sand from his fur and takes one last look at the waves. Stonefleck hoped his father was in a good mood by the time he returned.

Echobranch-Outside Camp-Brambleheart's Patrol
Echobranch thought over both paths. She flicked her tail, after making her conclusion. "The first one would be wiser," she said. "With it being closer to where the forest gets deeper, if there is anything like a fox or badger it would be good to know right away." She looked to Hailflurry for the other warrior's take on the path to choose.

"Uh-" Hailflurry was stumped on what to say, he took a glance over at Lynxpaw, the young apprentice didn't seem to have an opinion, judging from her gaze. "Brambleheart, you're the leader, you should choose," Hailflurry said, trying to get himself away from having to choose a path.

Lynxpaw with Hailflurry, Brambleheart, and Echobranch - Patrol
Lynxpaw was excited. Finally! She was getting to do something! Go somewhere! Lynxpaw had definitely had fun hanging around with Frostkit and Fernkit earlier, but she was excited to finally get to go outside after her short training with Hailflurry.
"Who do you think has been here?" Lynxpaw asked, flicking back her silver tail as she padded up towards Brambleheart.

Brambleheart with the Patrol - Near the Forest *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•* Ember34"Dunno... kittypet maybe?" Brambleheart's heart thudded. What if the heat and the kittypet were connected? What would they have to do to chase them out. The timing is fishy, Brambleheart thought. Everything is raining down on us.

Echobranch-Forest-Bramblehearts Patrol
Echobranch flicked her tail behind her. It was odd for a kittypet to be this far in the territory. "We should get them out of here," she said. The cat didn't belong to their clan and the last thing they needed was a mousebrained kittypet scaring away what little prey was around.

Rosepaw - Camp (OPEN)
Rosepaw's eyes flitted around the camp, in search of someone to talk to. She flicked her ears, hoping to catch a conversation she could join in on if only to satisfy her for a few moments. "I hope I don't train today," Rosepaw grumbles, sitting and wrapping her tail around herself. If Willownose could just lie in the sun all day, Rosepaw would like to do the same, although preferably with company so she could chat.
Willownose - Camp (OPEN)
The tan she-cat peered out the den, quickly turning up her nose at seeing Rosepaw following in her steps. She sighed, turning to head back into the den. A few more moments of peace was all she wanted, and Rosepaw sitting out there meant the opposite of that.

Rosepaw - Camp - With Willownose and Halfcloud IceclawRosepaw turns, her eyes widening to see the two elders. "Morning Halfcloud, Willownose." She greets, eyeing her mother curiously. "Do you two need anything?" She continues, getting to her paws in excitement. Finally, someone, she can talk to! Willownose - CampWillownose sighs, turning to look down at Halfcloud before following him. "Look what you've done, you've got her all excited," the tan she-cat says. She turns to look at the apprentice, watching as she bounces around the elders. Continuing to watch the small cat, her eyes begin to close. The ground did feel nice.

Foxblaze - Camp - Rosepaw, Willownose, HalfcloudSat outside the warrior's den, Foxblaze groomed leisurely as he enjoyed the heat of the sun warming his ginger pelt. An ear twitched as he heard voices, and he lifted his head from licking his chest to watch Rosepaw bounce around the elders. Willownose seemed less than enthused, and he purred quietly in amusement. He doubted he'd ever been so energetic, even during his own apprenticeship. He seemed to remember the elders often telling him to lighten up. Of course, Foxblaze never had. He stretched, digging his claws into the earth, and shook his pelt out.
Littlestorm - Meadow - Open"HA! Gotch-- oh, mouse-dung."
Littlestorm watched the sparrow she'd tried to catch flutter off into the trees, her tail lashing in annoyance. She took a deep breath and sighed, relieved at least that there'd been no one around to see that. The best part of hunting solo: there was nobody to judge you when you missed a pounce. She scented the air again, wanting to have something to show for her hunting trip, and scented the patrol that had passed by not too long ago. She padded the opposite direction, figuring the patrol's presence would have startled away any prey she could find before she even found it.

Hailflurry with the patrol - patrolHailflurry decided to keep to himself. He had never understood the hate kittypets got for their safe lifestyle or curious personalities. While he didn't want the life of a kittypet himself, he understood why one would want such a life, peaceful and away from danger. Honeyblossom with Copperkit - Nursery Jasminedusk She laughed affectionately at her daughter. She knew the heat wasn't great. No one had seen Almondstar in days and the medicine cats were silent, Honeyblossom wished her daughter had been born at a different time. "Come back under the shade, Copperkit," the ginger she-cat called to the playful kit. "You'll be an apprentice soon enough," she added. Copperkit had questions for days and Honeyblossom didn't have all the answers (I overestimated how long it'd take to reply, sorry-)

Copperkit with Honeyblossom - Nursery *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•*"Yes, Mama." Copperkit replied and rather reluctantly left the sunny spot. She skipped over to her mother and nuzzled her head into Honeyblossom's warm flank. "I sure hope so," Copperkit murmured. "I'll be the greatest warrior." She twitched her tiny, poufy tail, which brushed Honeyblossom slightly. //Now that I think of it Copperkit's tail is a lot like a feather duster  Brambleheart with the patrol - Forest *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•* Ember34Brambleheart quickened his pace, determined to catch up with the kittypet before it could do any harm. He called out to the others, "You might want to prepare to be attacked. Could be an aggressive kittypet." He turned back and continued sprinting.

(so sorry for late reply, been sick and only just got the energy to reply) Rosepaw -Camp - With Willownose, Halfcloud, Foxblaze Iceclaw bumblekingRosepaw's chest puffs out, promptly sitting down. "You'll never guess what I'm learning in training, Halfcloud!" She purrs, eyes suddenly aglow. "It's so exciting, but I'd rather talk to everyone than actually work." She continues. Willownose -Camp-Willownose opens her eyes, just slowly shaking her head at the other elder. She turns her attention to the ginger warrior. "Foxblaze, you're welcome to come join us and listen to Rosepaw," she calls, turning her attention back to the small apprentice. For such a small body, she had a lot of energy. |

Foxblaze - Camp - Rosepaw, Willownose, Halfcloud At Willownose's invitation, Foxblaze padded over, dipping his head in respectful greeting to both elders before eyeing Rosepaw with amusement. "You'd think some of that energy would be better put to work," he said, gently chiding her. "You can check for ticks and talk, can't you?" He indicated Halfcloud and Willownose with a nod. With greenleaf in full swing, ticks were bound to be active, and at least this task would let her continue her discussion with Halfcloud.

Lynxpaw with the patrol - ForestLynxpaw snorted and ducked her head. "Aggressive kittypets?" She chuckled. "Those don't exist," Lynxpaw didn't know what Brambleheart was talking about. Kittypets weren't aggressive. They were soft and cowardly, they probably strayed onto territory by accident, not being able to tell where they needed to stay. Honeyblossom with Copperkit - Nursery JasmineduskHoneyblossom smiled. "Yes," she meowed. "Yes, you will," she gave Copperkit a sweet smile. "The best warrior the Clan has ever seen," Honeyblossom chuckled. Despite everything, Honeyblossom was the happiest she'd ever been right now, everything felt perfect, even if the reality was far from it. (I'm so sorry this took so long lmao)

Echobranch gave a nod to his words, sure most kittypets were lazy or dumb, but there were some that had a bit of fight in them. Most of the time they were predictable cats. "Let's hope they aren't hostile though, it would just make it easier to get them off our territory if it's just a dumb one."

Brambleheart and Vanilla with the Patrol - the Forest Ember34 *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•*Vanilla heard the voices and padded towards them. Anger boiled in him. He shouted at the cats when he saw them, "What do you mean 'dumb'? 'Get me off your territory'? You've never met me, yet you're talking about me as if I've been your enemy since being born." Oh well, Vanilla thought, at least he knew that these were probably the cats he was looking for, by the way they said "territory". Brambleheart was about to reply when the kittypet approached from behind and interrupted him. Voice heavy with arrogance and hostility, he snapped. "Who are you to talk smart smack to us like that? We are right, you are dumb, for only weak, foolish kittypets will talk to us as if we are equal!" Brambleheart hated to be so unfriendly, mean and unfair to the stranger but he had to do what Brambleheart had to do to stay loyal to Tideclan, keep it safe until Almondstar's return. He had planned out a plan well, but Brambleheart was sure kittypet strangers were not part of it.
