My eye! I feel the blood running down my face, and I can't see with my right eye. "Cats, attack!" I scream. I hear the cries, grunts, groans, and yowling of the fight. Ow! Another clawing of my side, and I feel the gash stinging. I hear Cinno's scream as she fights Sneezepelt, then silence. I call out. "Cinno!" I don't see her. Then, I see the eagle hovering above me.

They come, and we leave, heading toward the east. There are twolegs places there, so maybe we can steal from them.

Wolfstar here, or what is left of me. I find my way back to the city. My sides burn, and I can only see with one eye. I see twolegs bringing dogs and cats into a building with other twolegs. What is this place? Cats and dogs are also coming out, so it's not a killing place. Maybe help? I wait until a twolegs is going in, and I run in behind them. Cats and dogs sit in containers near twolegs who are sitting. A twolegs sees me. She says something, bends down over me, and scoops me up, looking me over. Then, I'm being taken to the back. What is she doing? Oh, no! Is this a cutter place? No! I scream, scratch, yowl, and claw, and I nkwo I have hurt the twolegs. She drops me, and I race back out into the other room. Someone comes in from outside, the door's open, and I'm gone, free from the cutter. Now, to find a twoleg -free place where I can rest.
