Dreamcloud here. What did I get myself into? I miss my kits, and these cats frighten me. Wolfstar is likely to kill the clan, not save it, and Nightheart is full of ambition and hate. War between them would destroy all of us. I can't stay, even if it means leaving Sneezepelt. Smallflame wouldn't deliberately hurt his best friend and my mate. As soon as I see a chance, I will be gone.

Foxleaf here. I am fairly new to this clan, but not to fighting. My apprentice, Firepaw, needs lessons, so I take him outside to begin, just outside the entrance. He is scared of foxes, as any cat should be, but I fear he will stiffen up if he sees one. He needs to learn how to fight one. "First, you make yourself as big as possible. Arch your back, raise up your fur, legs and ears as straight and tall as possible. Then, yowl. If nothing else, others will hear and come running. Next, ...." The lesson continues.
