Hey, all! Joey is trying to join us, but there's a glitch with the email. I've notified the powers, and will see what they say. Seems her activation code isn't going through.  She thinks the problem is on the yahoo end; seems she can't receive or send mail, even though the account is valid. |

I'm thinking of Sarah, an orange tiger she who is elderly, cast out by her humans, and is found by Sneezepelt, Lily, and Sam, and delivers Lily's kits near but not at the camp. As a result, she is welcomed in the camp, staying with Silverback in the elders' den.

He is coming back and has 2 new cats with him, a pair, and the female pregnant. He wishes to make up for what he did; he is very sorry. Can you tell Scarstar? He will do whatever she asks to regain her trust."
I hear her murmur an agreement in her sleep, and I drift away. Now, it's her turn.

And the heat and humids got to all of us. So, where did we leave off? Ah, Wolfstar, Cinno, Tom, and Jerry leaving Darkclan. Wandering, they have reached the outskirts of the city. Cinno says, "Where are we going, Wolfstar? We won't get your revenge this way."
"We need more bodies. Even if they're not good fighters, they'll be a distraction, tying up Scarstars' warriors so I can get Smallflame."
"And you think you can kill him now?"
"Only one of us will leave our next meeting. Ah, what do I see?"
Ahead, we see 3 cats who look like they've been in a fight. "Hello, city cats. Someone give you a hard time? I'm Wolfstar."

Wolfstar says, "I'm a powerful cat, looking to start a new clan to take out those who claimed the forest lands. I'm looking for new members, and you look like you need to get revenge."
"A cat from the clans came through here, took a couple of our locals with him. We want a piece of them."
"Come with me, and you can have more than a piece. Are there more of you?"
"We can find a few more to join us."
"It's moonhigh now. Go. Be back here at sunup. We'll wait for you."
As the 3 leave, Cinno says, "You really want those 3?"
"As distractions only. If the clans don't kill them, we will, but not until we're done with them."

Well, I didn't say when after the day meal. Still daylight. Who's up? Me?
Wolfstar here. We've had a tiring trip, so we rest while the city cats hunt down possible joiners.
As the light starts to fade from the sky, they return with others. I count 7. "These them?" I ask. "Scrony bunch. Any good in a fight?"
"They fight every day for their food. Some tried to join the clans before and got told no, said it was because they wouldn't do what they were told to do. You let them take on these clans, they'll take your orders."
"Excellent. Our target is Riverclan. Who turned you away?"
"All of them," says one with a sore mouth. Bits of teeth hang loose. "Just point us in the right direction."
"Let's go," I say. Yes, they will do.

Sneezepelt here. We are moving but not quickly. Lily looks ready to deliver at any second, and I worry about her. Sam stays by her side. if we were closer, I would run to a den and get a medicine cat, but we're not. Movement ahead. An elderly orange tiger shecat steps out of a clump of bushes.

Sam here. "I'm Sam. My mate Lily is about to kit. I don't think she can go any further."
"I'm Sarah," the old one says. "Bring her in here. I'll help as much as I can. You 2 males stay out there. there are city cats prowling about, and I've seen 3 outsider cats come through. Go and guard."
We do.
All quiet until quiet mewling is heard. I jump up, alert, as Sarah comes out. "Two healthy males. Lily is nursing them and resting now."
"We can't stay. those city cats are hunting us."
"Wait until moonhigh. She'll be able to rest, and you 2 can carry the kits; we'll show you how. One thing, I come with you. That's not for debate."
"We can't be responsible for your safety."
"The quiet one smells of the clans. They respect elders, I hear. I can tell stories and help educate young ones. And even help heal. I'll earn my place. if you leave me behind, I'll just follow you."
"I guess you're coming with us."
"I can watch over your mate while you 2 make sure we're going the right way and no one interferes."

Ivyshadow here. I look down on the clans. Sneezepelt, Sam, and Lily are getting closer to the clans, but have a way to go. They've found an elder to help them. two new kits, too. Oh, the city cats are getting closer," I say to Dawnheart. "The males are scouting ahead. There is no one to protect the mom and her kits," Dawnheart says. "They need to be warned."
"Or help can be brought. I see a friendly eagle. I'll send a message."

Cloudpelt here. Sometimes, to be sure none of the city cats get ideas about challenging my clan, I soar above the lands between us, and I look for possible trouble. I see a mob of scrawny ugly cats moving through the lands, and they seem fixed on a location, a clump of bushes. What is that? No, out of my head! "There are cats below you who want to kill a queen, her kits, her mate, and the Riverclan cat who protects them. They need help. Go!" I go, a beeline to Leafclan territory. What do I see? Thunderclan? A patrol of 7 checking out the unclaimed lands? Time to get their attention.
