They're so gonna hate the warmer months! Same goes for the two wolfskin. They'll be spending their afternoons in their rooms, in the cathedral (because hopefully it's a little cooler in their than outside) or in the fishing pond. "Swimming and splashing in the pond is against the rules, you know." "Oh, don't worry, we're not doing any of that. We uh... we're just trying to catch some fish."

Oh, definitely. They'd soon figure out what's going on or they'd start to freak out because they just can't come up with any natural explanation why Neason is suddenly smart.

He may know a lot about plants but if you told him its a plant not commonly seen in Fódlan or a strange variant of a more known plant it would probably take him a while to realize it's fake xD

Let's hope there won't be any missions there. Or Paralogues. They'd be kinda useless unless they fight near someone who knows wind or ice spells.

*Callan having taken too many dumb risks during missions lately and Philomel deciding to ban him from leaving the monastery for a while as punishment*

Yup, sounds like it could really serve as a mission. While paralogues can be like that too we still need a mission for the Garland Moon so it's perfect. Too bad there won't be any good rewards (or no rewards at all) since Neason already has his relic. But our Deer will get to see how shitty their classmates' parents are or at least notice that they don't have the best homelife. So it's the perfect mission for them to bond because dang, those twins need some positive relationships in their lives.

Oh man... *hands out sheet-music to Jason's mom and his friends so they can all sing 'Good for You' from 'Dear Evan Hansen'* What? That song kinda fits xD Poor kid though.

I guess that could also be the moment when everyone starts to try and assure Searc that he's not worthless if there are people who are better or stronger than him and that he doesn't have to be the best all the time.

Yeah, there really is no fixing this. And while some of his former friends might feel conflicted even they know that none of this can be undone so no one will offer him a chance of going back. Looks like there's no happy ending for this guy. Kid just wanted to be accepted by his dad and ended up burning all his bridges for it. And then it turns out it wasn't even worth it.

Good thing he has such supportive classmates, they're not giving up on him ^^

Unless he tries to go to Brigid or Dagda he also can't really flee to any other country since even if there isn't a large-scale war Sreng, Albinea and Morfis will still be affected in some way so he most definitely will not be welcome there. And I doubt that the people of Brigid or Dagda would just take kindly a stranger like that. Even if he'll somehow be tolerated he'd be all alone there, not knowing a single soul. As for going with the Agarthans, only Keres wouldn't be against it. And maybe Akakios would vouch for him if he's proven his worth. But even then the other Agarthans would treat him like shit.

For a second I was thinking he could go to Abyss (because just because we're not including the Ashen Wolves doesn't mean Abyss doesn't exist) but considering what he was part of there's no way Hera would be merciful enough to send him there or that anyone would accept it. Too bad, that would have been the only way for him to get at least a somewhat happier ending.

He'll just have to come up with something, it's probably not too hard to think of a crime that isn't too severe. So I guess he might have a chance if he wanted to hide there. Unless the church already considered this possibility. Or unless he doesn't want to hide there after all because he thinks he doesn't deserve the chance of living a somewhat bearable life. Kinda depends on how much he hates himself after everything is said and done.

So, I might not write much or anything in the rp this week. Have a bit of a cold (oh well, at least it's not covid) so I don't have much drive to write my replies, especially after work. Maybe I'll end up writing something anyway during the week but in case I don't I just want to apologize in advance ^^

Also, I was kinda wondering about something. Since the church doesn't control the information and knowledge outside Fódlan there might be different views on crests in some places. I was wondering that maybe in some towns or villages in the other countries crests could be seen as a curse. Not in all of them, but maybe in more isolated ones, especially if the people who live there are really superstitious. Yeah, I dunno, just something that occurred to me yesterday at work during break.

Oh, and I might dump some more incorrect quotes soon. While I didn't feel like writing or drawing in the past days I clicked my way through a blog with some fun incorrect quotes assigned to Ace Attorney and Servamp characters. Was just looking for a laugh but I found quite a few where I thought 'Okay, that one works for the FE dorks too'. And sorry Ember, some (only two at the moment ^^) of those will be Searc getting hugged by wolfboy xD Look, it's not my fault your noble is touch starved and my wolf loves to show affection to his classmates. Okay, I guess the latter is my fault.

Even if I do bring in my other two beastkin neither of them bears a crest but since Tahvo's village is very secluded maybe it could work for the tribe there? I doubt he himself puts much stock in it though, at least not until later on when people start to think of him as suspicious.
I like to think that it has been many years since someone of Vanha tribe had a crest so no one really knows what that is. Near the village is some old tomb, where Louhi was buried. It's protected by a barrier and only those who bear her crest can go near it. The wolfskin of the village though think you'll get cursed if you try to break through the barrier. Since Tahvo loves to wander off and enjoys myths, legends and ancient stuff he may as well have tried to get a closer look and, to his friends' horror, could easily go there. Some time later when his training formally begun his crest could have activated for the first time which is why no one noticed it before? And instead of it being known as 'Crest of Louhi' they simply call it 'Louhi's Curse'. If they believed that though then why would they still want Tahvo as their future leader? Unless they think the curse doesn't effect others. Or it's something like "those cursed by Louhi are outstanding leaders but they'll always be betrayed by those closest to them when they take on that position." While it's pretty lame as far curses go it would play really well into Tahvo's fear of loneliness. Once he's leader his friends will be forced to keep their distance or they'll end up betraying him, at least that's what they think and they don't want to betray their friend. And as the leader's son he has no choice but to become his successor. I guess part of him actually believes in that curse, at least a little bit, which makes him feel bad for other crest bearers. He would start to fully believe in those tales when Akakios tries to make him look suspicious of working with the bad guys. Heck, he'd definitely believe in it after the spies reveal themselves. "Well, with this many crest bearers I guess this was bound to happen."

Guess I'll do it then! And whether Tahvo already fully believes in this curse or not, the fact that others believe in it will definitely make him hate his crest. It will also take him some time to refer to the crests by what they actually are. So instead of calling them "Crest of Adelis", "Crest of Úlfur" etc. he'll call them "Adelis' Curse", "Úlfur's Curse" and so on at first. Huh. I guess he better not do so in front of any church members, they could definitely see it as disrespectful. One more reason for Ambrose to antagonize the wolfskin I guess xD

True. The only problem is that wolfboy is aro but since queerplatonic relationships are a thing and can be just as strong as romantic ones I guess it isn't impossible xD If anyone ends up in a relationship with Tahvo they can probably compromise so I'm not against any shippings including the pup.

Haha, yeah. "See?! Those things are cursed!" While there's no betrayel involved, at least as far as they know, it would make sense if Tahvo believes that each "curse" works different so yeah, one could really see them as a curse xD
