Bunny glared. "I had chased it a few foxlengths in, big deal." She grunted.
Moon looked at the two loners, who seemed more annoyed than anything. "Steel we should go, ALpha will be expecting us."

Steel gave a low growl, not wanting to just leave these two. “Fine, but don’t try anything stupid,” he barked, keeping his head held high as he turned and trotted back toward familiar territory.
Indigo nodded, grateful her brother had given in so easily. “Thank you,” she woofed before turning to the two loners, “I apologize, my brother can get a bit out of paw sometimes. I wish good hunting to you both.” Then she quickly followed after her brother, taking the lead as the patrol headed back to camp.

Moon followed after the group, when they made it to the camp entrance she curled up in the den, exhausted for some reason. Leaving the others to deliver the news.
Gloom looked to Steel. "Lets go deliver the news to the Alpha and beta." she barked.

Dream opened his eyes, suddenly alert. He sat up seeing the two dark furred wolves walk in. "What's the news?" He barked to Gloom and steel. He wagged his tail, hopeful of good news. He nuzzled his mate, sniffing her fur.

(sorry my response is so short, been meaning to get more descriptive and such) "That's great news, thankyou. Leave us now." He turned to aspen, wanting to talk more about the pups but not knowing what to say. He got up, padding to a puddle of water to drink the cool liquid. He looked at her, his heart welling up with love.

Dream looked up at her. “I was just wondering how you are?” He wagged his tail, his yellow eyes meeting hers. He scratched at his ear, a persistent itch bugging him. He wondered about life with pups, his heart yearning for their sweet tiny yaps.

"That's good." Dream said as he licked her face, he lay down beside her , resting his head on his paws.

(Do we wanna fast forward a bit or wait ? Leafbare into the next season, so that the cougar sighting is more believable. Idk lol, I wish there was more people rping. )
Dream laughed softly, sinking his head into her stomach. He put his ear close, listening for little heartbeats. His yellow eyes met hers, and he winked. "I know they'll be beautiful just like their mum." he got up, leaving the warmth of her side. He padded to the entrance of the den, looking out to the howling winds below. there were no pack members outside in this chilly wind. His breath fogged in front of him, and he sat down. Thinking and mulling over his thoughts. They had gotten rid of the bear, but what next? Nothing to do but raise his pups , without the looming danger now. That bear had stolen many of his pack members and he had payed for it with his life. The alpha stifled a growl, and it caught in his throat. He coughed it out, the growl disappearing into a low howl as he raised his head.

(I was going to do a thing where a pup is found, I don't know if youre opposed? )
Dream was out hunting in the forest, hunting. He had his nose down in the now melting snow, the grass and trees now showing signs of budding life. He paused to take a drink from a nearby pool, his tongue lapping steadily. He finished drinking, turning to the east and heading for a little marsh usually full of gophers. Once he was there, he padded through the muddy terrain, his white fur catching flecks of mud and grime. He stood out, but the gophers would be groggy from their time spent in hibernation. He sniffed around, inhaling the dirt and earth scent, catching hints of worm and bird. He caught a whiff of gopher, and he lowered himself into a stalk, seeing the plump unsuspecting creature nibbling on some roots. He crept forward, his tail low. He sprang forward, his paw coming down hard on the gophers neck. It snapped and he threw it up in the air with his jaw, and he caught it. He turned back in the direction of camp, his pace quick. The sky had settled into a dark grey, and he was sure more snow was imminent. He paused by the border, sniffing to se if any loners had passed by.

(Ok, I can begin forms for my pups and Star Chaser, and you can do the same. We still have plenty of time though as it might still be a few days until the birth. Also, I’ll write the loner post now.)
The ginger she-wolf gently picked up her pup, a small dark brown male. She snorted and took one last glance at her other pups before heading out into the wet world. The little pup was only three sunrises old and had yet to open his eyes, but his floppy ears were slightly perked. The loner padded toward the wolf pack’s territory. She had high hopes that her pup would be dead within hours as there were rumors about this ruthless pack on the wind. Setting the pup within the boundary of the wide territory, she growled, “Good luck, runt. You’ll need it.” Then, without a backward glance, she bounded away toward her healthy pups.
(So, I had an idea as I was writing this. Basically, the father of these pups was a stray mut. With the runt, obviously, he has floppy ears and currently he is slightly sickly. I’ll make a form here too:
Caesar / male / three days currently / Pup / determined, self-confident, curious / a dark brown male with floppy ears and large brown eyes. Thin, faintly curled tail / Aspen(adopted mother), Dream(adopted father, loner(mother), mut(father), Star Chaser, three other pups(adopted siblings) / No crush, mate, pups / @/robinbreeze13
And siblings will be posted later)

Dream stood facing the wind, sniffing around at the border still. He smelt something new, and sickly. He followed the scent, ending up nose first in a pups face. He grunted and backed away. He sat down, contemplating. The pup was small, a runt nonetheless. But still a pup. He picked the pup up in his jaws, not sure what was coming over him. He returned to camp, heading straight for the den. He placed the pup down by aspen, sitting down and saying nothing. His yellow eyes met hers and he did his best to look sad.

Aspen looked up as Dream padded toward her. Before she spotted the brown bundle in his mouth, she wagged her tail, looking happy. But then, as the pup was set down, she recognized what it was. “Oh Dream, where did he come from?” She asked, nosing him closer to her flank and wrapping herself around his small body. He smelled like none of the pack members and she knew of no wolf who had given birth recently. His mother must have been a loner but, what happened to her?
The brown pup squirmed a bit under the grip of the large wolf, but he soon fell calm and allowed himself to be carried. He didn’t know what was happening; he couldn’t see or smell anything but he heard the yips and barks of wolves as the wolf carried him toward them. As he was set down and another wolf nosed him toward her, he whimpered, nosing around for any source of milk. This wasn’t his mother but she still smelled like a mum. Finally, he managed to find the source of the familiar smell, but there was no milk. He yelped a protest, calling for someone to bring him to milk.
