A sudden voice caused Blaze to spin on his heels as he turned to see another person walking toward him from the city. "It's very unnatural, not like other cities," Blaze said, but his voice was soon replaced by the growls of Shadow. His Houndour doesn't really take lightly to strangers despite their same opinions. "What's your name? I'm Blaze and my overprotective Houndour over there is Shadow."

"I'm Liev! Region explorer extraordinaire." technically not a lie, he did end up going all around the region as someone part of Team Verdant. Honestly it was just easier to explain it that way, since he wouldn't have to explain why he had no badges "I'm also putting together a dance team, but that's more of a side hustle at this point." he smiled and waved his hands idly in the air "It's good to meet someone with similar taste! I'm sure we'll be good friends!" it seemed the friendly trainer had already made the decision that he'd befriend this trainer. Getting more trainers in the same mindset Team Verdant had was never a bad thing.

She was happy to give any tips or helpful pointers to the trainer when he would need it, plus then she would be able to watch more pokemon battles. But she seemed to take note of his hesitant tone. ”You sound like you don’t like battling much, so I’m pretty sure there’s other stuff do to around here.” She tapped her chin in thought. ”Do they have pokemon contests around here?” She had never seen a contest before, but they did sound very interesting and fun to watch, almost like showcases which was a staple in Kalos. But it did sound like it required a lot of energy and to be honest, she wasn’t sure if Keiji would like that as well. At least Ness seemed to like the idea, but to be fair, she sounded like she liked everything. Jet | Nicklelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw )Jet followed Agnar nodding along with his words. ”Yeah, the crowd is quite uncomfortable, but they seem to be enjoying themselves.” Jet said with his whole heart. He noticed all the smiles and chatter around him and couldn’t help but let his disdain prick at his skin. He badly wanted to shake people up from their senses and to prove to them how just how bad Argent really was. He wanted to scream, fight, literally anything. But he knew how powerful the corporation was, able to convince anyone with a click of their fingers, whether it was through their wealth or through their web of manipulative lies. For now, he had to stay low and find more evidence which could further disprove of Argent’s ‘good deeds’. Causing a small ruckus to their plans would also be a fun little side-quest, if anyone was up to it. Jet knew that he was. ”Maybe we could find out a little bit more about how great Argent actually is.” He suggested. He was aware that some of the buildings in Nickelocke were closed off and unable to be viewed by the public. Maybe they were hiding something inside there. The headquarters was also found in Nickelocke so perhaps they could take a visit there as well. But in the end, the decision would have to be made by his higher-ups, which included Agnar.

"They're not as prominent here. Ever since the Argents took over there have been some mentions of them. Apparently they bring in more people to the region." contests don't sound like they would be terrible... but either way he'd take this chance to better his own skills in medicine to the point that they'd have no choice but to take him back "Hmph, there's no point in worrying over it now. I'll do something to spite my aunt, there's no rush." it wouldn't be long before they reached the next town, since it wasn't far off in the first place.

She then shrugged. ”Your choice, I have mo say in it.” She was still curious about the trainer, such as his history, his goals and most importantly his aunt, but if they were going to be travelling partners, those questions would have answers soon and in the words of the trainer himself, there was no rush. ”Are you planning on catching anymore pokemon then?” She asked him.

"Ehh... I've seen a lot better cities built with nature, not against it," Blaze mentioned but smiled irregardless. Liev struck him as a well-traveled person, who had seen and possibly done somethings whether they were good or bad. He tossed a glance toward Shadow, a low growl still emitting from his throat. Maybe he didn't trust him, but his Houndour didn't trust a lot of new people. "So what's the rest of the region like outside of Nikelocke?" Blaze asked with curiosity.

Kei considered her suggestion for a moment before shrugging "If something stands out to me. What about you?" after seeing how well Ness had bonded with Luxie, he was honestly considering getting an Eevee himself, but it wasn't likely he'd run into one on this route "This route is short anyways. Not many Pokemon on it." it was so close to Nikelocke, a lot of Pokemon avoided it since many trainers would walk along this route.
Liev -- Route 1
"The region is really nice! It's full of greenery and life. Since the region is so diverse, you can find a lot of different Pokemon here. It shouldn't have needed those Argents to come in to become popular." he placed a hand on his hip and tilted his head "What brings you here?" it seemed he wasn't fazed by the growling Pokemon at his feet. A part of him knew that he had a Pokemon of his own, and wouldn't have to worry too much. Blaze didn't seem against chatting with him either.

"I wish there were more people with that kind of mindset." Nora hadn't met too many people who were really competitive. Some chose not to participate in anything they weren't good at and she could understand that. But for her it was just so motivating to have some strong competition. As for reaching the next city today, Alice was probably right. With no crowds to slow them down it was very likely. "By the way, Fihford isn't the only place where we could compete. Surely you've heard about Hythe City and how their gym isn't the only place to test our skills?"
Agnar -- Nikelocke
Agnar nodded at Jet's suggestion, having thought something similar. Finding out more about The Great Argent was one of the reasons they even were here in the first place. The closed off buildings were definitely worth a visit. Even if there was a chance they wouldn't find anything special there, either because they were well guarded or protected by some security system.
Once they had reached a street where the crowd wasn't so large Agnar decided to let his Lycanroc out. Many people here had one or more of their Pokémon outside their Pokéballs so the Lycanroc wouldn't draw too much attention. Hayato let out a low growl, looking quite displeased at his surroundings. "Sorry, Hayato. I know you don't like this city either." With a sympathetic smile Agnar patted the Lycanroc's head. He felt sorry for the Pokémon but Hayato could help them out a little. The Lycanroc had good instincts and maybe he could notice things that Jet and Agnar overlooked, whether it was something hidden or just the suspicious behavior of anyone they might walk into. "Well, let's see if there's a way into one of their closed-off buildings" He said quietly. Maybe some corporation members would be nearby so no one would even try to get inside. But even that would be something worth finding out. If they really were this careful about it then there probably really was something they didn't want the general public to see.

As they entered the town Alice shot Nora an interested look "Oh? Do they also have some of competition?" she hadn't heard much about Hythe, since it was all the way in the mountains she hadn't considered it a good place to set up the Siluvi branch of their restaurant. Though, if it had a draw like a competition she might just have to rethink her initial decision "Well, even if it does I don't plan on losing anything without a fight."

"I've never been to Hythe myself but I heard a few things about it. Apparently they like to hold skiing competitions." Not that she had much experience with something like that. Winning would be pretty much impossible for a beginner like her. But that was no reason to not give it a try. "But everything I've heard about Hythe so far sounds fun. Just a race down the hills would be one thing but battling other trainers on the way down? Sign me up!" She just hoped she would have enough time for the race. If it was held way after she would (hopefully) have obtained her next badge she would have a choice to make. Go to the next gym anyway and go back to Hythe afterwards or just stay in Hythe for a while? "Oh well, Fihford's fishing tournament comes first. Guess I should focus on that for now." While she didn't actually need another water-type Pokémon it was still worth participating in it.

She just wanted a team who all enjoyed each other’s presence and would be a great group of friends to her as they battled gyms together. Jet | Nickelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw)Seasame who was huddled messily on Jet’s hair, whimpered slightly, intimidated by Hayato who looked very large and scary to the small bug pokemon, especially with the low growl he had just emitted off. Jet gently grabbed Seasame in her arms and pet her lightly, hoping it would calm her down in the slightest. ”It’s okay, Hayato won’t hurt you.” He said kindly, though he wasn’t really sure himself. ”Hey Seasame, keep an eye out for anything strange or interesting, alright?” Jet asked her quietly. He seemed to have the same idea as Agnar, hoping his pokemom would be able to find anything that would hopefully aid the pair of trainers to fiinding anything of interest, whether it was a way into the buildings or suspicious activity with her clever little eyes.

I didn't want to try back home because there wasn't really a challenge since I grew up watching the Hoenn League," Blaze said with a shrug of shoulders. " Altona is the first gym isn't it?" Shadow glared at Liev still, but his growling slowly faded and he stepped back toward Blaze with cautious eyes still roaming around the area. No wild Pokemon was going to get to his trainer, not today at least. |

"A water type... well there is a lot of water in this region. You won't run out of water Pokemon to catch." he snorted lightly, knowing that man people spent a great deal of time fishing in lake the sat at the center of the region. As they walked, there was a rustle of bushes to their left. Ness looked over and started to crawl out of the bag. She jumped to the ground before Kei could grab her and started to toddle over "Ness, come on. Don't wander off." Kei said, exasperated but fond. When she reached the bushes there was a small 'zap' sound and she fell backwards. In the bushes in front of her sat a Pichu.
Oh great. Kei thought she'd start to cry after getting zapped, but Ness managed to get back to her feet and approached the Pichu again "Careful, it's dangerous." Kei went to pick her up.
Alice -- Altona
Nodding in agreement Alice added "Oh! That sounds fun! I've never tried skiing before, but I won't lose in a battle. Speaking of the fishing one, apparently the winner will get a prize. If it's open to anyone in the region it has to be something good. It'll probably even help with the gym challenge." she pumped her fist eagerly "Yes! I totally plan on winning this." she'd never been good at fishing, but there was nothing stopping her from getting better.
Liev -- Route 1
"Yup! It's a Flying type gym. Professor Lupuna also lives there. Apparently she'll give you a starter if you ask. Which is pretty cool." Liev had never bothered going, since she generally expected trainers to challenge the gyms and do some work for her. And he was a bit too carefree and busy with his Verdant missions to bother with that.

Blaze blew a puff of air through his mouth and tilted his head to the sky. He loved certain flying type pokemon, but hated battling against them. "Fantastic... Well at least I can get a starter. I wonder which regions she has starters from," Blaze said looking down at Shadow with curious shrug. "Definitely going to stop into the professor's lab first."
Shadow looked up at Blaze with long gaze like "Seriously?" Blaze looked back to Liev with a friendly smile. "Where are you heading?" he asked wondering if they were heading in the same direction.

Sapphire | Nickelocke | Keiji (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛)Sapphire chuckled lightly at the trainer’s comment but flinching slighly in surprise to the small zap in the bushes. She looked down and finally noticed the small Pichu. ”Aww, hi cutie.” She cooed lightly, bending down to the Pichu’s level, at smiling at them. ”They can’t be dangerous. They’re so small.” She said, instinctively raising her hand out to pet the small Pichu gently, clearly forgetting not to judge something by it’s size. While her trainer was busy being distracted by the Pichu, Luxie had hopped over towards Ness, checking to make sure that she hadn’t sustained any injuries. Even though it was a small zap and Luxie knew she was probably being too overbearing and protective, that didn’t stop her concern for the baby pokemon.

Agnar glanced at the Joltik at Jet's words and then back at his Lycanroc. "You won't, right?" It was an unnecessary question. Hayato wouldn't attack a Pokémon he wasn't fighting against, unless he was ordered to or if there was a good reason for it. But Sesame wouldn't know that. The Lycanroc looked up at Sesame, lowering his ears a bit and trying to not look so intimidating to let the Joltik know that he wouldn't hurt her. "There you have it. Anyway, I think we shouldn't be too far from one of those buildings now."
Nora -- Altona
"Even more reason to participate!" If the prize really was something that could help with the gym challenge she absolutely had to try. "If some people from Fihford are participating as well it will be even harder to win. They usually have a lot of experience in fishing. It'll really be a challenge" She added, not sounding too worried though. If anything she sounded like she was looking forward to it even more now.

The Pichu was surprised by the sudden appearance of so many trainers and Pokemon, and electricity prickled along it's fur threateningly. But when approached kindly by Sapphire and Ness it seemed to calm down a bit. Ness dug around in the pocket on her belly and pulled out a small and round rock. She handed it to the Pichu, who looked a bit confused "Ness, stop making friends with random Pokemon." Kei sighed. Happiny would only hand over their rocks to people and Pokemon they considered friends. There was no doubt in his body that he was going to have to capture this Pichu since they were now apparently best friends.
Alice -- Altona
"I bet we could use that to our advantage. We can ask around, maybe even battle for some information." she wouldn't just cheat off others, that would be pathetic, but she would be willing to ask and battle or information. Since they didn't stop anywhere in this city, they were well on their way to the second route "Anything you wanna do here?" Alice asked, glancing over to Nora.
Liev -- Route 1
Since he hadn't gotten more orders, Liev actually wasn't planning anything. He had been considering heading back to base, but he might as well stick around this guy and see if he could convince him to join Team Verdant "I'm headed to Fihford. I'm interested in the fishing contest they have going on there." swiping the prize, depending on what it was, could be his own little mission. Liev glanced down at Shadow and grinned "You're quite the expressive Pokemon, aren't you?" for a Houndour at least.

"Good idea. I bet we'll find some people like that." It sounded better than going up against them with next to no knowledge. Sure, if they, too, wanted to win then they probably wouldn't give too much information to other competitors but battling for information sounded like a great option. As for stopping anywhere in Altona, Nora had no need to do so. "I've already stopped by here when I went to Nikelocke for the entrance ceremony so there's nothing I have to do now." She said as she shook her head. "Well, let's see if we really can get to the next city today." If the kept up their pace they really had a chance of reaching Velena today. While Route 2 was longer than Route 1 there still wasn't much to slow them down. The Pokémon in that forest weren't of any interest to Nora and Alice was probably looking for stronger Pokémon than that, too.

((That would be fun to do so I’m fine with it)) Sapphire | Route 1 | Keiji (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 )Sapphire looked at Ness curiously. ”What is she doing?” She tilted her head slightly, watching her give the stone to the Pichu, staring at the pair of baby pokemon intensely. ”Is she helping them? Are you going to catch them?” Ness was the first Happiny she had ever met so it made sense she would be confused by the strange tradition taking place before her. This made her realise that she really didn’t know anything about other pokemon nor found in Kalos and while she did feel a little bit embarrassed for her lack of knowledge, that was what her adventure could be for: it could double as a learning experience for her as well. Luxie trodded over and quickly took a quick sniff of the small smooth stone, curious about the stone as well. Jet | Nickelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw )Seasame quickly looked over towards Hayato, who now slightly looked less frightening than before but she was still somewhat fearful of the large wolf. In response, she just nodded—or at least as attempted to. ”She’ll warm up to you soon.” Jet told Hayato. Perhaps Hayato could help Seasame become more open with other pokemon as well—if they both became friends first that is, which he hoped would be soon. He looked back up around the surroundings before him, scanning for anything that was of interest. But while the group walked along the streets, Jet couldn’t help but just make conversation, while trying not to get distracted. ”When did you catch Hayato? He’s a very polite pokemon.” It wasn’t a lie. At first Jet was hesitant with the Lycanroc but he soon realised how nice the pokemon actually was, after he made sure to make Seasame feel more comfortable. |

"Oh cool, I've never really cared too much for fishing unless I was really looking for a specific Pokemon," Blaze said with a small shrug. Not many underwater Pokemon interested Blaze besides like Gyarados, Shar****, and Kingdra, yet he doubted any of them would be the water type he would select. Blaze stuck his hand out to warn Liev at his mistake, but his attention was already focused on Shadow.
Shadow's head whipped back around to stop at the other trainer with a fire in his eyes. He let up a snarl at the human, lowering his head while his eyes didn't leave Liev.
"I'm sorry, Shadow has been with me since I was eleven years old and a small incident occurred that caused him to be very protective of me and my parents. He is really not kind to strangers, no matter if their intentions are good or bad." Blaze leaned over and picked up his Houndour under his stomach before taking a step back from Liev to distance themselves.

With a slight smile Agnar glanced at Hayato who padded beside them. "I wish I could take credit for that. It's just how he is for the most part." The Lycanroc had been always easy to deal with. Even as a Rockruff he had started out pretty respectful and friendly and in time he had grown into the trusted partner he was now. He had his wild side, of course, and if there were people who he thought didn't deserve his respect he made no secret of it. But usually he knew what was expected of him and tried to act accordingly. "Hm. He's the third Pokémon I ever caught. I've known him for about three years and a half now." Before he had moved to the Siluvi Region Agnar hadn't really bothered too much with really training his Pokémon, just battling others occasionally. His team had consisted of Sneasel, Deerling and Rockruff back then. But he had decided to actually try to give being a Pokémon trainer a shot once he had gotten here. And if he hadn't found out about the destroyed parts of Siluvi he would probably have taken on the gyms at some point. "He has grown pretty confident, mostly thanks to Serac and Echo." The Weavile and Sawsbuck have always been great friends to the Lycanroc. "What about you and Sesame? She seems to trust you a lot." As they talked he still kept an eye out for anything that could be of interest and Hayato, while listening to the conversation, was also doing his best to find anything noteworthy.

Keiji -- Route 1
"Happiny will give the stones they carry in their pouches to people and Pokemon they consider their friends. Though if you don't give it back they'll throw a fit." thankfully the Pichu handed the stone back. It smiled brightly and finally came out of the bushes. It ran around Ness and Luxie in a friendly manner "Since Ness likes them so much I'll catch it." Keiji nodded, and pulled out a Fast Ball from his bag. He may or may not have raided his aunts Pokeball collection on his way out. The Pichu didn't complain, seemingly happy to come along. The ball shook twice before clicking shut.
Alice -- Route 2
"Let's get going then." they soon entered route two. The forest was far more dense here, the only light coming from patches of sunlight that broke through the thick cover above them. It also became far more quiet the farther they got from Nikelocke. As they rounded a small bend in the trail they came upon a part of the path that had been webbed off, probably by some bug type Pokemon "Yeesh, there's no trainers on the trail for an hour and the bug types take over it." Alice snorted, looking to see if there was a way around the wall of webs.
Liev -- Route 1
Shrugging, Liev said "Don't worry about it, it doesn't bother me." true to his words, the smile on his face never really left. Honestly there were far more intimidating Pokemon that a cute lil Houndour. But he figured he didn't want to say that and instead said "It's good to have such a dedicated partner." they had been walking for a short while, and they'd probably make their way to Altona soon.

Nora -- Route 2
Nora looked at the webs for a while, wondering if there was a way to get through. If they managed to destroy that wall somehow how would the Pokémon that had spun those webs react? If it was nearby it definitely would see what they were doing and it wouldn't be too happy about it. Next to her Tammo tried to get her attention. Nora looked from him to the wall of webs and then back at the Raboot again. He knew the move Flame Charge and maybe he could burn the webs with it. But having him do so seemed too dangerous. "We only want to get past the webs, not burn the forest down." She told him. Tammo scowled at that but then nodded. Trying to find a way around it really seemed to be the better option so Nora started looking too now. She wondered if Farlay could cut through it with his X-Scissors. "Do you have a Pokémon that could help us if we can't get around it?" She called to Alice. "The best option I have would be a Vikavolt."

Blaze || Route 1 Interally, Blaze's mind was running rampant as he prayed to whatever gods that Shadow would not attack someone even if people always preached the common phrase of "stranger danger." On the outside, he appeared calm and collected which was probably best during this type of situation. " Thank you. He's been my best friend for years," Blaze said proudly smiling. " I don't have any siblings, so no connection to make." Shadow glared at the trainer for a few moments longer, but gave a huff of breath before deciding the guy was not worth his time, at least for the time being. Blaze noticed in the short distance that some building of Altona was coming into view and he smiled. He couldn't wait to visit the professor and see if she would provide him with a starter pokemon. " It would be nice to get another friend for Shadow. Let's just hope he doesn't try to shred them," Blaze thought. |

Sapphire | Route 1 | Keiji (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 )Sapphire nodded while she listened to his explanation. She found it fun when she learnt about other pokemon she knew nothing about, and in this case it was no different. She was glad she had someone who knew something with her at that moment, or she would have probably assumed the stone would be a weapon of some sort that the Happiny would have. ”That’s so cute.” Sapphire smiled at Ness, subconsciously reaching a hand out to pet the cute pokemon once more. ”But if Ness keeps giving her stone to every random pokemon she sees, you might be able to complete the pokedex.” She joked to the trainer, listening to the fastball click shut. She turned back to look at Keiji again. ”You don’t look or sound like it, but you’re actually really sweet, to be catching a pokemon that Ness likes.” She told him, but soon realised that hadn’t meant to say the first part of her statement. She quickly covered her mouth. ”Wait, I’m not saying you look rude or something like that but, uh..” She quickly looked around for any idea of what to say but it was useless. Luxie, who was unaware of her trainer’s predicament, was instead staring at the fastball that contained Pichu, wondering is they could become potential new friends.Jet | Nickelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw )”I’ve known Seasame for the same amount of years as well.” Jet answered, looking down at Seasame for a moment. ”I met her when I ran away from home—she somehow crawled into my bag and fell asleep in there.” He could still remember the night as if it were yesterday. The shock of finding a wild bug type pokemon snuggled into his backpack and having ate half of his supply of food. He smiled, reminisce of the past. ”I decided to catch her, just because she wouldn’t leave my side.” He explained, thinking back to how no matter how many times he had tried to set her free, she would just cry and come crawling back to him. It wasn’t like he did anything extravagant and heroic to make her so attached to him—all he did was spray her with a potion and attempt to send her on her way. But perhaps it was the small things that counted for her because after that, she wouldn’t leave his side. ”I think Hayato would be a good role model for Seasame.” Jet commented. He hoped that one day Seasame would be as respectful and confident as the wolf. He liked the sound of Serac and Echo who seemed to take credit for who Hayato was today. He only had one other pokemon, Casper, who seemed to be doing the exact opposite of what Jet wanted and tried to scare Seasame every chance he got. ”I would like to meet Serac and Echo one day, if we ever get the time to.”

Kei huffed and adverted his gaze "It's not like that... I just want Ness to be happy." he was rarely called out for being nice, so this was a new experience. Instead of trying and failing to reply further he bent down and scooped up Ness, sticking her back in the bag "Let's just get going. We shouldn't waste anymore time here." he may not show it, but he actually somewhat appreciated the presence of the other trainer. Even if she wasn't against just calling him out.
Alice -- Route 2
"Yeah! I have someone." she pulled out an Ultra Ball "Queen, cut these webs with Air Slash!" Alice wasn't going to even bother with looking for a way around, if they could go through they should! In a flash appeared a regal looking Vespiquen. She looked over the webs with her red eyes before buzzing her wings a few times "Come on Queen, do it." Alice insisted. The Pokemon looked skeptical, like she was telling them this was a bad idea. But when Alice insisted yet again she shrugged and sliced into the webs with Air Slash. At first nothing happened and the path was starting to clear. Suddenly things weren't as good. From the trees shot some strings. In the trees around the webs was a large group of Ariados.
Liev -- Altona
As they finally entered Altona Liev nodded and said "I see. I don't have siblings either so I can relate. Oh! We're here!" Altona was a small town the other end of it sat on tall and sheer cliffs. Over the water you could see many flying types riding the winds. It was a perfect place for a flying type gym that's for sure "I think the Lab is over this way." Liev gestured idly to a white building to their left. It was closer to the woods and was maybe just a bit overgrown.

Blaze || Altona
Once they stepped into town, Liev gestured over toward a building with Blaze's gaze following toward the white structure with some overgrowth from the forest nearby. He gave a soft smile as he walked along the path to the lab. I don't know what pokemon the professor may have to offer or if I will even accept one, but I need to keep an open mind. Blaze reached the door of the lab and gave a good knock before taking a step back, waiting to be invited in by the professor. He didn't know anything about her other than that she had most of the trainers help her with tasks, then again filling a pokedex was a task in itself.

Agnar -- Nikelocke
Agnar nodded at that. "That's how some Pokémon just are, I guess. Sometimes they just take a shine to someone while others will have you fight for that honor." And then there were Pokémon who would never befriend a human and it was better to just leave them alone. There was no need to mention that though, many people knew and respected that. "I bet the trust between you two has grown significantly over the years." As he said that he wondered how the members of the Argent Corporation viewed their Pokémon. Were they just tools to them or did they actually form a bond? He'd seen Pokémon who genuinely loved their trainers even though they weren't good people.
At Jet's comment Hayato turned to look at him, as if he wanted to thank him for thinking that. Agnar couldn't help smiling at that comment either. "Thanks, I guess. Who knows? Maybe she can pick up a few things from just being around him." It would take time, sure, but if the Joltik could grow to become more confident, why not? As for Jet meeting Echo and Serac, maybe there would be an opportunity for it. "Maybe some day. Echo is usually calm and patient but he can be very exuberant at times. He's easy to get along with." Serac though... "Serac can be a little difficult. He either likes someone or he doesn't. But if he likes someone they have found a friend for life." The Weavile has always been a bit of a show-off and had little patience, especially if someone was timid. But if he liked someone he would try to encourage them. It was hard to tell if Serac would like a Pokémon or not. He had easily befriended Echo and Hayato but didn't get along with Sleet and Riki. Thankfully he could work alongside the Vaporeon and Gallade but whenever he had to he would give Agnar a look that clearly said "Fine, I'll do it. But know that I'll hate every second of it."
Meanwhile Hayato had turned his attention back at their surroundings again. The closer they got the more alert the Lycanroc became, clearly not wanting to miss anything.
Nora -- Route 2
When the Vespiquen looked sceptical Nora wondered once again if there was another way. But this was the fastest option by far. And those webs were blocking the path. If they didn't destroy them then someone else would. Whatever Pokémon had spun the webs, they should have picked a better place. And for a second everything seemed fine. Maybe the Pokémon had left and they wouldn't have to worry about anything. "Looks like we're free to go." No sooner had she spoken those words things suddenly changed. As she hissed a "Get away from it!" to Alice and Queen she jumped back, looking up as she did so. "Holy crap," she whispered at the sight. Next to her Tammo stepped forward, shouting something up at the Ariados. It seemed like he was trying to apologize and explain but Nora didn't expect them to listen. Instinctively she reached for one of her Pokéballs. If they couldn't run from the group they would have to fight. She grabbed the ball which held Alaia, hoping the Spheal's Rock Slide or Aurora Beam could help them as much as Tammo's Flame Charge and Bounce. One wrong move from even one of the Ariados and she would let Alaia out.
