Welcome Welcome trainers, to the Siluvi Region! Once a quiet and unassuming island, the Siluvi region has recently been bought out by the Argent Corporation and is now available for vacation, battle, and travel. The region has many things to offer to those who live here, and those who are visiting. Test your battle skills in the Siluvi gym challenge, or explore the dense and mysterious forests throughout the region. Whatever you may decide, you won't be disappointed by what the region has to offer!  Map Of The Region 1. Nikelocke -- an artificial addition to the region created by Argent Corp. A stunning city on the water that's been completely built with rivers, trees, and on the ocean. To get around here you can take boats on the artificial rivers or walk on across the bridges. Here you'll find the densest population of the region with the most impressive technological advances. The Siluvi League is held here, alongside the headquarters for Argent Corp. Nikelocke shows off impressive stores with something for nearly everyone. Though, not all buildings are open for the general public.
2. Altona -- home to the Altona Gym where you can obtain the Tempest Badge. On the opposite side of the city there are sheer cliffs where flying Pokemon like to nest.
3. Velena City -- the second city you'll come to, as well as the home to the second gym where you can earn the Dart Badge. Velena is known for it's lush greenery as well as it's close placement to the ocean.
4. Sylvanport -- a small port city where you can get your hands on the Clash Badge. Trading is very rampant and popular here. Find the right people and you can potentially get rare items and Pokemon. It's recently become less popular due to Nikelockes ports.
5. Fihford -- the fourth gym is found here. Win against it's leader and win yourself the Hook Badge. Fishing is incredibly popular here and many hard to find fishing Pokemon have been found in the waters around the town.
6. Hythe City -- after a long trek through the chilly mountains you'll find your way here. Home to the fifth gym, you can earn the Bleak Badge. They often hold skiing competitions with fun prizes.
7. Paorin -- with permission, you are now allowed to cross the Remnant Lake and enter Paorin. Here is the sixth gym where you can get the Mirage Badge. Paorin is a quiet and small town with a foggy and expansive forest surrounding it. Fairy and Psychic Pokemon are held up to high regards here. Speak to the right people, and you may learn something about the history of this region and the secrets it holds.
8. Balaridge -- Location of the 7th badge, the Talon Badge. Apparently trainers are not allowed to go further than this city and it offers free sky rides back to Nikelocke. Though, get past the people watching and you may find out something about this region they didn't want you to. There have been rumors that the gym leader here has moved.
9. Morainetown -- A once beautiful city destroyed by the constant mining around it. People here are somewhat bitter and broken. They generally won't talk to outsiders.
10. Argent Construction -- A construction site that's highly guarded and off limit to the common folk.
11. Squall Islands -- As it's name suggests, these islands are a stormy area where trainers can go to train. High level dragon, flying, water, and electric types can be found here.
12. Solistown -- A town on the farthest tip of the island. It's off the beaten path and not many trainers make it this far. The 7th gym leader is said to vacation here often.
13. Remnant Lake -- A large and deep lake in the middle of the region. It starts out shallow where most trainers will fish, but suddenly drops off into dark and inky depths. As such, only trainers who have obtained the 6th badge are allowed to make their way across it. There are rumors of a large water Pokemon that nests in the deepest part of it.
14. Unknown Area -- an area untouched by humans.
A. Route 1 -- a short route that's filled with many low leveled Pokemon. Not many strong Pokemon like how close it is to Nikelocke.
B. Route 2 -- as you enter the forest you'll cross a small bridge and wander deeper into the forest. Many grass, dark and bug type Pokemon make their home here. Wander closer to the lake and you can find water Pokemon as well.
C. Route 3 -- one can only cross this route if you have the ability to swim. It's not recommended for new trainers to traverse these waters as strong Pokemon like to rest in the deep and calm waters.
D. Route 4 -- a sandy route leading to Sylvanport. Many rock, ground, and water types can be found here. With a few fire types who enjoy the warm sand and sun. Take some time to look around the sand and you might find some rare items!
E. Route 5 -- a path through the dense forest. Ghost and dark Pokemon can be found here during the night.
F. Route 6 -- a path with many fishing spots until you reach the lake. Once you reach the lake you can go no further unless you have the 6th badge.
G. Route 7 -- a long and difficult path through the mountainous area of the region. Rock, ground, and icy types are common here. Watch out for slippery patches and the sheer cliffs.
H. Route 8 -- a far less chilly walk down the mountain. You can find nearly any type of Pokemon here.
I. Route 9 -- this area, if you manage to make it here, is shocking. The forest that once stood here has been torn down, leaving only rocky hills left. Ghost, rock, and poison types are abundant here.
J. Route 10 -- a somewhat hidden path that leads to the construction area. No Pokemon can be found here, but many construction workers hang out here.
K. Route 11 -- this route walks through a somewhat pitiful grassland. Normal types are very common here.
L. Route 12 -- to make it through this route, you'll need a boat or a Pokemon that can swim.
M. Route 13 -- a route going through the stormy Squall Islands. The islands are connected by somewhat sketchy looking rope bridges. This area is dangerous and not recommended for low level trainers. |

Rules Pokemon Rules and Regulations -- All trainer characters have to be 16+! Gym Leaders and Elite Four members must be 18+.
-- You don't have to have a starter, but you can collect one from Professor Lupuna if you wish.
-- Please try to decide who will win the battle before you begin.
-- You are not allowed to have Legendary or Mythical Pokemon on your team.
-- Only six Pokemon to a team, any extras will be stored in your PC.
-- Pokemon are allowed to only have four moves.
-- Only one starter Pokemon per character.
-- Aloan/Galarian Pokemon are allowed, but Ultra Beasts are not.
-- Please pay attention to both levels and typing of your Pokemon. If your Pokemon is only level five, there is no way it can have learned Flamethrower yet.
-- There is no accurate way to measure HP through RP, so I ask that all trainers are truthful when battling. We are not all Ash, if your Pokemon has the weaker type match then you are likely to lose.
-- You are allowed ONE shiny Pokémon over all your characters. If you are active with many characters you may be able to have more.
-- Mega Evolution will be allowed, but you will only be granted the ability when you have proven yourself as an active member. Only one mega per character. Unless you have one as a gym leader or elite four, then you are allowed to have two :3
-- No character with less than four badges can have a mega stone.
-- No z-moves or Gigantamax. Rp Rules Activity|| Please try to get on at least twice a week! If you will be inactive for a long amount of time let me know and I will excuse you. If you rp an important part such as a gym leader or elite four member, etc you must be active. If not you will be removed and the spot will be given to someone else.
-- If in the middle of a battle, you have to reply or the other person will be given a second chance to attack. We don't want the battles taking over a week to complete haha.
Literacy|| I don't have a specific amount you need to post. But please avoid one liners. If you cannot manage this rule you will be asked to improve your rping, or leave the rp all together.
-- When talking out of character please use things like () {} [] and when your character is talking please use "" to avoid confusion when rping.
Realism|| No character can win every time. Please make character realistic. No character is perfect, people have flaws. If not they would be very boring to rp and to rp with.
Follow All Forum Rules|| This includes things like cursing, keeping it Pg-13, No stealing, and everything along those lines. about To everyone who visits the region it comes across as a green a beautiful area where Pokemon and Humans alike can explore, battle, and play. But what if that wasn't the full truth? The Siluvi Region is slowly being torn apart for the gain of the Argent Corp. As a trainer you have three choices, work against them, work for them, or watch as the battle goes down. As your character goes further in their journey they will learn more about the corruption of the region and ways to potentially stop it.Team Verdant Team Verdant is a small group who has somehow learned of Team Argents plan and is doing everything they can to stop it. However, due to how their actions are being covered people think they are a group of troublemakers. They generally attack Argent Corporation vessels, workers, and anyone who may be moving items for them. |

Moves:Read Before Joining-- Elite Four members are under Argents direct command. They follow his every order and protect his secrets from getting out. They are in charge of keeping the destroyed part of the region under wraps. They take part in the Championship battle.
-- Team Verdant members are against the destruction Argent has done to the region. Their Leader is the child of Corbin Argent. Whether or not the team is aware of it is up to who RPs their leader.
-- Team Verdant does not have any specific typing on their teams, but they generally lean away from steel and poison types. However, feel free to use them if you wish. Argent Corporation members favor Steel types, but can use all types.
-- Gym Leaders can either be supportive of Argent, unaware of his actions, or actively against it. The Dragon Type Gym Leader will have a personal grudge against Argent due to the area surrounding their city getting mined up. The Steel Leader will also be under Argents direct command.

Kassie can be described as sweet, but with a tainted heart. She can be kind in most situations, but her slight attitude can get in the way. Her mood changes when she is near some people and sometimes can come off as cruel, but she tries her hardest to be kind to everyone. She's always been head-strong, which can lead her into some unfortunate situations, but she isn't afraid to take the lead if no one is stepping up or corruption has taken a hold of others. She loves Pokemon and would do anything to help them. -- Kassie is around 5'9" and weighs about 135 lbs with light tan skin. She is in great shape, with pretty strong core, but don’t underestimate her because of her looks as she is a martial arts champion in her own right. She has long blue-black hair that reaches her mid-back. Her storm gray eyes can sometimes captivate people, which she may or may not take advantage of. With Kassie, she is more of a comfortable clothes girl than extravagant clothes girl. She likes to wear hoodies, blue jeans with a few holes and some sneakers. Despite her looks, and her gym, Grace is actually quite warm. She is easily approached once you get to know her and she is always bright. When you ask her to battle she gets excited and will meet you with fiery determination. Her battle style is purely offensive, she doesn't watch the defensive side that often. Even if she is relatively kind, Grace has been known to hold grudges and will ask for rematches whenever you see her if you managed to defeat her. Grace doesn't know how to ice skate, ironically enough. She comes from the Kalos rejoin and came here at the request of the Professor to take over the gym leader position. Grace is an experienced fighter, but is a bit new to the gym leader position. "Look before you leap" is not a phrase in her vocabulary and she'll go into everything she does full throttle. She's always had a natural way with battling which thankfully covers for her hard headed nature. Grace can get embarrassed easily. She's always taking any chance to have fun battling and her team is almost all well known. -- Grace has long black hair and stands at an average height of 5'4". Her eyes are an icy blue. Based just on her looks she seems kind of cold. Her hair is usually pulled back into a messy bun or a fox tail and her clothes are clean and fashionable. When she is in her gym she has a black coat with fur around the hood, wrists, and along the bottom. She wears gloves to avoid the cold. Grace is unsurprisingly immune to the cold. Almost. Her nose is usually red with cold and without her trusty coat she tends to get cold. She has a belt where her Pokeballs are kept. She hopes to break the stereotype that fairy type pokemon can only be cute but weak, so therefore she is a very hardworking and determined person. If she wins a battle against a trainer, she will take pride and taunt the trainer by saying that they must have underestimated her fairy types. However, if she loses a battle, she will at first be in denial, but will soon accept her defeat and congratulate the trainer and use the battle as a lesson in her next battles. She is against the ideas and actions of the Argent Corp, fearing that they would soon reach Paorin and destroy her hometown. -- She has light tan skin and dark brown eyes. Cain is rather flashy and carefree while some will think he’s pushy or even overconfident you wouldn’t think he was a member of the elite four. Despite all this, Cain is actually just a kind-hearted and happy go-lucky person, as an older brother himself he takes it upon himself to look out for others and his friends. Cain likes to be mischievous with his friends and have a good laugh with it comes to scaring someone with his Pokémon, Cain has a soft spot for anything cute especially Pokémon he considers cute even there ones that really aren’t. When in battle, Cain has a more serious demeanor but he’s still flashy and confident, he likes it when his opponent is confident in themselves also and he’s willing to go all out them to help them push past their limits with their Pokémon.-- Cain is tall broad shoulder muscular man standing at about 6'7 with white hair that slicked back with a few strands of hair falling into his face, he has light brown skin and amber-colored slit shaped eyes. He has a mischievous grin to match his canine toothed grin. Cain outfits consist of mostly dark colors with designs on them and sometimes he'll hear a blue hoodie with a Pikachu design and grey sweatpants one days he calls 'downtime lazy' days, which for Cain is almost every day. His current outfit consist of Navy-blue vest, white dress shirt, a black tie, black dress pants with black/white loafers. – He was adopted into a rich family from the Sinnoh Region, the family already had three sons but happily took in Cain after learning his parents vanished while exploring ancient ruins. He always wanted to make his adopted father to be proud of him so he went off to take the on the gym challenge, his journey lead him to the Siluvi Region where he managed to join the region’s elite four. Her hair is styled into a side ponytail with a clip of the Argent Corporation. Connor can be somewhat arrogant and he usually doesn't take others seriously. At least when they aren't working for the Argent Corporation. He tends to mock people who are against them but even though he does seem foolish it wouldn't be wise to actually mess with him. While he might come across as carefree it doesn't take much to anger him. He can be pretty ruthless when he feels threatened and he's willing to do pretty much anything to not disappoint the Corporation. His fighting style is aggressive and he thinks defensive moves are just a waste of time.

A quiet and somewhat introverted young man who looks like he's hard to approach. But anyone who actually tries to talk to him will find out that he's a pretty friendly and reliable guy who quickly warms up to others. He can be quite talkative, especially when something has sparked his interest. Despite all that he would rather not really bond with anyone, wanting to focus on his work instead. Given his position he can't really afford to actually befriend people outside Team Verdant anyway. While he's usually calm he can be surprisingly short-tempered around people who have anything good to say about the Argent Corporation but he tries to leave it at snide remarks most of the time since he's aware that most people simply don't know any better. On a personal level he doesn't really mind when others are goofing around a little but around Team Verdant he's a no-nonsense guy most of the time. -- Agnar is a tall person with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. He's passionate about a variety of conspiracy theories and is incredibly invested in the mysteries of the Siluvi Region, going so far as to uproot his life and moving there. He is quick to jump to conclusions and his conspiracy theorist personality isn't everyone's cup of tea. Many would even say that it's unfortunate that he's using his intelligence to follow theories that aren't even true. The hustle and bustle of the artificial city was something Ren still hadn't gotten used to. It was even busier today as the Argent Corporation would officially be starting the Champion League today. It was the first league of the region and everyone was practically buzzing with excitement. It was infectious and Ren found himself getting just as excited. He finally found the Pokemon Center after nearly five minutes of looking. Making a beeline for it he had to weave in and out of the crowd. Before they official announcement for the League began he wanted to get stocked up on items and make sure his Pokemon was healed. Because once it started he was planning on heading right out.
Alice -- Nikelocke
Alice was not a patient person. She practically fumed behind a group of people who were walking slowly down the street. There were so many people on the usually never used bridges of the city and there was no way around it "Maybe I should have taken a boat." she grumbled to herself. In her arms sat a Applin who let out a small noise of agreement "Thanks Akane." she patted his head fondly. Evolving him was a big goal of hers, and what better way than to explore the region and find the item she needed? Though, that wasn't her only goal. Once Corbin Argent started the league she'd finally be able to continue her quest to get badges.
Professor Lupuna -- Altona
The dark room and splitting headache did nothing for the Professors mood. Her Indeedee entered the room and opened the blinds, causing Lupuna to practically hiss "Yeah yeah, I know. The League starts today." a frown graced her features. Corbin Argent, her old employer and the reason she was stuck here now. Lupuna didn't consider herself the type to hold a grudge, but he was really trying to prove her wrong. But she knew she needed to tune in and watch the announcement, even if the sight of him made her gag. Besides, what if a trainer came in today wanting a Pokemon. She might as well look somewhat alive if that were to happen.
Keiji -- Nikelocke
People steered away from Kei as he walked irritably through the crowd. He was not happy to be here, and anyone who saw him could tell. His grumpy expression was quite unusual placed next to the incredibly happy looking Pokemon sitting in his bag. The Happiny seemed to cheerfully unaware of how ticked her trainer was. According to his aunt he 'needed to work out his piss poor attitude if he wanted to work as a doctor' and he should 'travel around the region and cool off'. Then he'd been kicked out of the Pokemon Center and told not to return "Kind and helpful my ass." he hissed to himself.

Alessi wandered through the streets of Nikelocke, her expression settled deep into a frown. She had a particular distaste for this city, and for obvious reasons. However, the league started today, and what better way to keep an eye on the Argent Corporation than being there for their announcement of such a monumental event? Her Corviknight, Noche, monitored the skies above her. To the average viewer, it would simply look like he was taking a leisurely flight, but his sharp eyes kept a lookout for anything or anyone that might pose a threat to his trainer.
"Why is this place so frickin' crowded?" She muttered to herself, shoving past a couple of slow walkers that returned the action with dirty looks.

Kendrick Howell -- 26 -- Male -- Poison
Kendrick is the kind of guy you can get a good grasp of his personality just from his looks alone. People often say he's cold and aloof - which he is. Getting involved with other people is too bothersome to him so he tries his best to avoid interacting with people outside his work as gym leader. His battle style is based around poisoning his opponents and stalling while the poison does its job. Despite this he'll still take risks if he thinks the pay off is worth it. He treats his Pokémon more like coworkers than anything else. While he may not get along with his Pokémon in the traditional way he still treats them with respect and trusts in them causing them to do the same -- Kendrick is about average height at 5'09". He has dark bown hair he keeps short and olive green eyes. He typically wears dark blue sneakers, shorts, and a polo with his Gym's badge on it. Outside of the gym he'll wear similar outfits though sometimes with flashy patterns -- Whenever he gets an extended period of time off he likes to visit Sylvanport -- @/shrikethorn

Grace was rushing through the crowds, having forgotten that she was supposed to be around to help just incase there was trouble during the league announcement. Just as she tore out of a small sideroad she nearly slammed into another woman walking by. She looked to the other she'd bumped into and apologized "Oh! My bad. Sorry about that." she scratched the back of her head a bit sheepishly. Behind her was a Weavile, who didn't look impressed with her trainers actions. |
