Tsukuyomi “TJ” Nakayama -- 19 -- Male -- 0Tsukuyomi has a cheerful, energetic, and temperamental personality. He can get excited over almost anything, his excitement can lead to trouble which causes attention to be drawn to him but when that attention because too much he becomes shy and timider. Tsukuyomi is childish sometimes; he’ll bug others to get his way if he has too or he become bossy. Despite his generally bubbly exterior, Tsukuyomi has a serious attitude, when it comes to Pokémon and doesn’t like seeing them being mistreated or in pain. Tsukuyomi can be quite confident in himself not one to become discouraged if he loses or make a mistake but however, he is quick to become angry if something or someone caused him to lose at that time Tsukuyomi will lash out at anyone near him with fury. All in all, Tsukuyomi can be a caring friend and willing to lend a hand to anyone or try and cheer them up, he loves his Pokémon and cares for them deeply. – Tsukuyomi is a 6’2 young man with an athletic build, light medium tan skin, medium-length black hair with a taper fade and slanted blue eyes. He has two stubbed earrings in his ears, a black and silver ring on his right hand, and a sapphire necklace, that is his family heirloom. Tsukuyomi usually wear jeans and t-shirts in a range of any color with blue/ white sneakers. – Tsukuyomi is from the Unova Region, he is the youngest of ten children. His grandparents owns a Pokémon Ranch in the Sinnoh Region, he would spend his summers there and that how his love for Pokémon started since he would play with them or the wild Pokémon in the area too. Tsukuyomi is pansexual. – Taiyou

((They know about it)) Sapphire | Route 1 | Keiji (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛)Sapphire hummed in agreement, before swiftly looking down to hide her embarrassment. She couldn’t tell whether the trainer had taken any offence to her comment, it wasn’t like she actually wanted it to be harmful or anything! She quickly shook her head, in an attempt to get rid of the thoughts by scattering them and nervously bit the inside of her cheek. She was overthinking, wasn’t she? She should just calm down and hope he didn’t seem too offended by it. She looked back up and glanced at the trainer walking with her. She really hoped she hadn’t messed up her chances of becoming closer friends with him though. She couldn’t bear to walk in a somewhat awkward silence though, so she tried thinking of another conversation starter from the top of her head. ”Do you think we’ll reach Altona anytime soon? This route is meant to be short anyways.”Jet | Nickelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw)Jet gave a small smile to Seasame once more, who made a small little happy noise before crawling his arm up to his head to further take a look at the surroundings before her. ”It really has.” He said to Agnar’s first statement. Now in present time, he felt honoured that Seasame placed so much trust into her trainer and he was grateful for it. ”Well, Echo and Serac sound like great pokemon.” Jet wondered to himself if his pokemon would ever grow up to be like one of the three pokemon his commander had talked about. Agnar sounded like he had a fully fledged team, each pokemon unique in their own ways, and all fully evolved. Jet never put thought into his pokemon team, he just caught whoever seemed to want to stick with him for a while, Seasame being a clear example of where that mindset had gotten him. ”Do you or any of your pokemon enjoy battling then?” He asked. |

"We should be there soon. I'd sometimes walk over when working with my aunt." he'd often been sent out to work with the other Nurse Joy here since they were so close and understaffed. True to his words the buildings in Altona were soon able to be seen over a small hill. The town was prominent against the dark backdrop of the thick forest on the other side "You have anything to take care of here? I'd rather not stick around if I don't have to."
Alice -- Route 2
"Huh? What the hell was that. You guys are the ones who blocked the path!" Alice insisted, placing her hands on her hips and glaring up at the spider Pokemon. She was perhaps a bit too competitive for her own good. Obviously pissed at this rude trainer, the Ariados shot a string shot towards her. Alice was so busy telling them off she only had time to make a surprised noise before she had her arms webbed to her sides "Hey!" Queen watched this go down, not moving quite yet. Almost like she thought her trainer deserved a little bit of webbing for not listening to her earlier. One of the Ariados approached Nora as well.
Liev -- Lupunas Lab
Liev followed after his newly made friend. While he wasn't interested in getting a starter himself, he was interested in seeing the Professor in work. Lupuna was something of hermit, comparatively to other regions professors. Even Team Verdant didn't know a whole lot about her. They walked up to the lab, and when Blaze knocked on the door there was a minute of silence. Just as he was about to suggest that she wasn't home the door opened, slamming into the wall as it did so. He jumped in surprise and snorted lightly at his own reaction.
Professor Lupuna -- Lab
Standing in the door was Professor Lupuna, her tattered coat and Scorbunny slippers on full display "Another one? Two of you? New trainers everywhere today." she looked like she'd just gotten moving "Welcome, come in. You're here for a Pokemon I presume? I have another trainer here, but he's currently doing something else so come in I guess." behind her was standing an Indeedee, who looked just as tired as his trainer, but likely for different reasons.

Nora -- Route 2
The second the Ariados moved Nora threw the ball. The spiders seemed to be too angry to just let them pass. Having another Pokémon outside beside Tammo would increase their chances against the Ariados. Probably. For a moment the Spheal just rolled around but stopped once she saw the group of Ariados. The noise she made then sounded kinda accusingly, as if she had figured out why the Ariados were mad at them. "You can squeal at us later, Alaia! We have to deal with them first." Not wanting to be left out Tammo moved to stand next to the Spheal. Only then Nora actually noticed what the Ariados had been shooting their strings at. Under other circumstances she would have laughed at the sight but who knew what those spiders were capable of. She glanced at her Pokémon. Tammo was no good for this, she couldn't have him flame charging at Alice after all. Alaia wasn't really suited for this either. So for now that only left the Vespiquen. "What are you waiting for?" She called to Queen as she kept her eyes on the Ariados. "Alaia, try to warn it of with Aurora Beam! Tammo, get ready to use Flame Charge if it comes closer!" The Raboot nodded and glared at the Ariados that approached them. Next to him Alaia shot her Aurora Beam at it, missing by an inch or two as she intended for it to be a warning shot.
Agnar -- Nikelocke
Agnar thought about that for a moment. Once he had started training his Pokémon he had quickly grown to love it. If he were still just a "normal" trainer he would have even participated in the league. Or maybe not. Sometimes he wondered what he would be doing now if he hadn't learnt about Argent's little secret or if he had chosen to remain ignorant about it. "Depends on who we're battling against," he said finally. "If it's just a trainer who enjoys it then sure, it's fun. There's always a difference between that and... work-related battles." Next to him Hayato just shook his head and snorted. "Serac loves nothing more than a good Pokémon battle, no matter who he's up against. The rest of my team likes them well enough. Though Hayato isn't too fond of 'serious' battles." He glanced at Sesame for a second and wondered how she felt about battling. She didn't look like she would enjoy them but who knew? It wasn't really something one could tell by just looking at a Pokémon. "So, does any of your Pokémon enjoy battling?"

Shadow strolled into the lab with a smugness on his face before staring up at Indeedee. |

TJ~ Nikelocke ~ Route 1
TJ felt he was turned upside down in the artificial city, he somehow managed to get lost or turned around through the streets even after asking for directions, his excitement of being in a new region and city got the better of him again and pulled his attention from his first actual destination in the city, the Stadium. TJ found himself missing the gym leaders of the region and overhead people talking about a battle between two of them happen, he wanted to watch but had wasted enough time in the city. Nikelocke city was stunning with all the technological advance which TJ was amused by, the city almost reminded him of Castelia City back in Unova but that city didn't make him feel uncomfortable maybe it was because everything was artificial , it also didn't help he would get excited again and stop in a store just not buy anything. After getting directions again, TJ made his way out the city and walked along route 1, humming softy he happy to be among actual nature and noticing a few Pokémon in the route in the grass making a note to probably revisit the route after picking up his starter Pokémon from the professor in Altona.

Alice -- Route 2
Queen finally reacted and used Slash to free her trainer from the string confines. The Aurora Beam, while making them more wary, did not scare off the spiders. They continued to approach the trainers with intent "Queen, use Air Slash again!" Alice ordered when one lunged at the bee Pokemon. She twisted mid air, her wings buzzing as she slashed across the bug with a effective flying type attack. A few of the others also took this chance to attack Nora as well.
Liev -- Lab
"Yeah! I'm just tagging along." Liev confirmed with a smile. He looked around the room with interest. Lupuna had once been a far more known Professor, but now it just seemed like she was stuck in one place with no funding and only one job. That job being taking care of and handing out the starters for new trainers.
Lupuna -- Lab
"I see. Well, come and meet the Pokemon." she led them further into the lab, coming out into a large living area. This are was the only place that seemed to be upkept well. Many different Pokemon played around, most of them approaching the group as they entered "We have starters from all different regions. Take your pick." Lupuna gestured idly to the Pokemon the had approached them, as well as the ones that hung back.

Nora -- Route 2
When Alaia's Aurora Beam failed to scare off the spiders Tammo ran towards the Ariados that was the closest, using his Flame Charge as he had been ordered to. The Raboot let out a triumphant cry as he did so, as if he was sure of his victory. Nora took another step back, her eyes never leaving the Ariados that were trying to attack. "Alaia, show them your Rock Slide!" The Spheal rolled forward to meet the Ariados and with an angry cry she let her attack loose, the glare on her face not really matching the usually cute Pokémon.

Blaze || Lab
Blaze followed Lupuna with a kind smile until they moved into the large living room. His lower lip parted from the upper as his eyes gazed over the large group of starters from all the regions. "No way..." Blaze muttered. In no way did he expect the professor to be taking care of all of the starters from different. How was he ever going to be able to choose? He found some of his favorites like Cyndaquil, Treekco, Oshawatt, and each of the Sinnoh starters. Each of their eyes were set on him, which made the decision all the more difficult. Finally, he turned toward Lupuna and pressed his lips together. "Professor, if it's okay with you. Would I be able to spend some time with them and give you the chance not to worry about them for a little while?" Blaze asked. Maybe spending sometime with all of them, his decision wouldn't have to be so difficult. He glanced back at Liev curious to see what he thought.

(Finally done with my Elite Four character. Posting them here again so you don't have to go back to the page I originally posted them on. Hope their moves are okay.) Nao Miura -- 18 -- Non-binary -- Electric Type
Nao is usually a kind and energetic person who can be a little pushy when it comes to helping others. They're confident in their abilities and their Pokémon but at the same time they worry about not being able to fulfil other people's expectations. Not wanting to get on anyone's bad side Nao often feels temped to just agree with everyone but usually they can stand up for their own beliefs and most of the time they try to find some sort of middle road. Despite specializing in electric types Nao is actually afraid of thunderstorms, but only natural ones. Anything that's caused by a Pokémon doesn't faze them and they love nothing more than having their Pokémon go crazy with their electric moves. -- Nao is a bit shorter than average. They have short black hair with a blue streak and blue eyes. Nao usually wears grey shorts and a black t-shirt with a blue pattern that's inspired by a Lichtenberg figure. They also wear a lightning-shaped pendant made of metal -- Nao is demisexual and doesn't really have a preference for any gender -- @/pineclaw

Alice -- Route 2
The Ariados may be falling to the stronger trainers Pokemon, but there were certainly a lot of them. Alice was incredibly distracted beating up a few further into the destroyed nest. A large Ariados with an 'x' shapped scar on its belly was watching them fight, almost as if it was the leader of this group. Alice called for Queen to take down another Ariados. With every fallen spider the larger one moved a bit closer. It was watching the trainers with interest.
Liev -- Lab
Leaning back against the door Lupuna nodded "Knock yourself out kid. I'm gonna get some coffee." she held her head like it hurt and wandered back into the lab. Liev watched her go, but decided to stick around her. Squatting down he beamed at the starters in a friendly manner "Wow! So many! Good luck choosing dude." he reached out and patted a friendly Fennekins head "Seems like she's got a good bunch of 'em."

Sapphire | Altona | Keiji (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛)Sapphire shook her head. ”I’ve already beaten the gym here so I don’t really have anything to do.” She looked towards the huge gym in the city. This was the place she made so much new memories. For example, she had beaten the gym leader, Aria Coldwell. She was the first gym leader Sapphire had defeated. She could still feel some of the remaining adrenaline pumping through her, even if the battle was finished over a week ago. This was also where she had caught her first pokemon in Siluvi: Elvino who was just a Rookidee back then. ”What do you work as?” Sapphire asked him casually, getting rid of her reminiscent memories.Jet | Nickelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw) Seasame squeaked a bit and frantically shook her head as if to answer Agnar’s question for him. Jet held in his sigh. ”My pokemon are like two polar opposites. Seasame hates the thought of it while Casper enjoys it very much.” Jet never had a pokemon battle that wasn’t work-related. He didn’t hate it but he didn’t enjoy it either—he just didn’t care about it, so he never really understood why people and even pokemon seemed to enjoy battling each other. If he was being honest though, he sometimes wished he could find the same enjoyment in it just like other people. Perhaps he just hadn’t had enough intense battles but trainers really liked making pokemon battling seem so poetic which was intriguing to say the least. But that didn’t stop the fact that it would get a bit tiring having to take care of two pokemon whose ideologies and personality were so very different from each other’s, especially when it came to battling. ”Do you have any gym badges then? Or too busy with being commander?”

Nora -- Route 2
Nora kept shouting orders to her Pokémon, having Alaia attack with her ice and rock moves while Tammo stuck to his Flame Charge. She glanced in Alice's direction for a second but it seemed like she and Queen were holding their own so she turned her attention back at "her" Ariados. "Just how many are there?" She muttered. Even though Tammo, Alaia and Queen were certainly strong enough to take out the spiders they would tire out eventually. After two more Ariados fell to the relentless attacks of Raboot and Spheal Nora took a second to try and get an idea of how many bug Pokémon were left. At first she didn't notice the large one but once it had moved a bit closer she saw it alright. She cursed at herself, wondering how she could have missed it. Had it been here this whole time? But in any case it looked like it was stronger than the rest. But why didn't it join the other Ariados? Did it not want to fight and was just curious? Or did it wait for the right moment to attack? It didn't seem to be in any hurry to get to them. Still, it probably wouldn't be wise to just ignore it. Nora called for her Pokémon to take out two more Ariados, then she called to Alice "Watch out for that large one over there! I think it's coming closer!"
Agnar -- Nikelocke
Agnar nodded at that. Pokémon sure were different. Some loved to battle, some didn't mind it and others hated it. "It's not for everyone. Some trainers don't care much for battling either. Just spending time with their Pokémon is enough for them." There were many different kinds of people, all having their own ideas on what being a trainer meant to them. "I think as long someone treats their Pokémon well and doesn't use them for anything heinous there's no 'wrong' way to be a Pokémon trainer." Battles were fun and all, 'normal' ones at least, but what Agnar valued more was the trust and respect he and his Pokémon had for one another and the bond they shared. At Jet's question he gave a short, quiet laugh. "To be honest, at first I had seriously considered taking on the gyms. It's a great way to test your skills and it sounds exciting." With what was happening in the region, however, it would have felt wrong to challenge the gyms. "If things were different I would give it a try. It's just that I'm not sure how I would feel about battling the gym leaders here." It was hard to tell if the gym leaders knew what was going on, not counting a few exceptions. "Not the best reason I guess but I just don't like having to follow the rules of a gym leader who sides with Argent."

Blaze tossed a smile in Liev direction before his eyes shifted back to all the Pokemon around him. He watched a few of the playful starters begin a fun little game of tag. His attention turned to the small number of timid Pokemon as they stayed near the back of the room. A shy Chikorita stared at Blaze with wary eyes, yet the grass pokemon stepped toward him with a little bit of curiosity. Blaze leaned down slowly, holding out his hand for the Chikorita to approach him. He wanted to gain the trust of one Pokemon then maybe the others would see him as a friendly trainer as well. She gave a slight sniff of his hand before pushing her side into his hand. Blaze gave a soft smile as Chikorita gave a sound of excitement. Soon some of the other timid Pokemon began to move forward to interact with Blaze. After an hour or so, Blaze had played with so many different Pokemon and his head and heart from the decision that had to be made. He felt terrible for having to choose just one, but he knew those were the rules. Hopefully, many of these Pokemon didn't have to wait other trainers to show up. His crouched down and picked up one specific Pokemon with a smile. He gave a wave to all of the others before walking out into the main room holding a Piplup. " Professor, I want to choose Piplup if that's okay?" Blaze asked with a bright smile. |

Or will it be a mission failed for them?))Jet | Nickelocke | Agnar (Pineclaw )”Sounds fun.” The gym challenge didn’t really appeal much to him, after all he didn’t care for battles a lot. But what would he be doing instead? If Argent wasn’t destroying towns and building things left and right, then Jet wouldn’t really have some sort of purpose in his life. A doctor maybe? Coordinator? Ranger? Perhaps he would even be working under the corporation since Argent’s destruction was the sole reason he even left home. However, before he could continue of getting distracted by meaningless ‘what ifs’ and such, he turned back to listen to Agnar. ”Oh yeah, I can definitely agree with you on that last part.” Jet sighed heavily at Agnar’s last comment. If there was anything he hated the most, it was being confined to the strict and unjustified rules, especially if they were made by Argent. ”You think there’s any gym leader who doesn’t support Argent?” He asked. If there really was a gym leader who disagreed with Argent, wouldn’t they have done something about the corporation’s actions by now? But then, Argent Corp was a very powerful company anyways. But did it hurt them to try, if they really didn’t agree with them?

Alice -- Route 2
Since it realized it had been seen the large Ariados jumped down from the tree. Most of the smaller spiders pulled back, returning to the trees and leaving the two trainers faced with the singular more powerful one. It shot out a specifically gooey and sticky web, aiming for both trainers. The Spider Web would keep all trainers and Pokemon stuck in battle, unable to leave "Gross. Queen, use Air Slash!" Queen, who was buzzing just above the ground, nodded and flew towards the Ariados. When she approached the Ariados lashed out, a dark energy coating its creepy leg, using Sucker Punch to force Queen back before she could attack.

Kei paused, but eventually said "I work with Pokemon. Mostly their health." he didn't want to be too specific, but he also didn't want to lie because he was proud of his ability. Despite everything he liked being able to heal people and Pokemon, even if his family was obnoxiously upbeat about it "Let's continue on then. No reason to stay here." Kei had decided that he wasn't all that interested in the gym challenge, but he also knew that he really should level up his Pokemon, at least a little so he wouldn't be stuck against a stronger wild one.

The door opening caught her attention, and Lupuna looked up when Liev and Blaze approached. She noticed the Piplup in his arms and nodded, a small smile curling her lips "Sure kid." she rummaged around in her messy desk for a moment before pulling out a Pokeball with some tape on it. She peeled off the tape with the name 'Piplup' written on it and stood to hand it over to Blaze "You gonna name it?" she asked, walking past him and looking around for a Pokedex she knew she had somewhere.

TJ~ Nikelocke ~ Route 1
TJ felt he was turned upside down in the artificial city, he somehow managed to get lost or turned around through the streets even after asking for directions, his excitement of being in a new region and city got the better of him again and pulled his attention from his first actual destination in the city, the Stadium. TJ found himself missing the gym leaders of the region and overhead people talking about a battle between two of them happen, he wanted to watch but had wasted enough time in the city. Nikelocke city was stunning with all the technological advance which TJ was amused by, the city almost reminded him of Castelia City back in Unova but that city didn't make him feel uncomfortable maybe it was because everything was artificial , it also didn't help he would get excited again and stop in a store just not buy anything. After getting directions again, TJ made his way out the city and walked along route 1, humming softy he happy to be among actual nature and noticing a few Pokémon in the route in the grass making a note to probably revisit the route after picking up his starter Pokémon from the professor in Altona.

Nora -- Route 2
Instead of being terrified of the huge spider Nora just glared at it. So what if they had no chance of escaping now? Their Pokémon were strong enough to deal with the Ariados, after all. And now that most of the spiders were backing off a little there was only one opponent left. The sticky web was kind of bothersome, though. Tammo cried out in surprise and outrage and Alaia didn't look too happy either. "Don't worry, we won't be stuck here for much longer," Nora told them. She didn't know just how strong the large Ariados was but she didn't want her Pokémon to be afraid of it. "Let's take out the large one and get out of here." When the Ariados forced the Vespiquen back, though, she wondered if it would really be that easy. Okay, let's try to attack from a distance instead. Tammo and Alaia were stuck on the ground so the web would definitely slow them down. That didn't mean that they wouldn't do their part. "Alaia, use your Aurora Beam! Tammo, use Agility! And keep an eye out for any of those other Ariados!" She decided to have just one of them attack the large Ariados for now and the Spheal could hopefully handle herself. And if any of the other Ariados decided to interfere her Raboot could take care of it.

As much as he liked both Chimchar and Cyndaquil, they likely wouldn't get along with Shadow. His eyes lowered to look at Piplup with a light gleaming through to him. Initially, Blaze had not considered giving his new Pokemon a name, but many names rattled through his head. He gave Piplup one more long look as he believed they connected with the name he had chosen. " Yes, his name is Poseidon," Blaze said with a large smile. Poseidon gave of a sound of excitement and approval of his name. |

(Hm. Kinda hard to come up with something when we don't know what our characters are allowed to find out this early into the RP.
Since this isn't like in the games where the baddies talk openly about their secrets, drop keys pretty much constantly or sleep on guard-duty I doubt there'll be much to find for now. Depending on whether it's a well-known fact that the Steel gym leader and the Elite Four are on Argent's side or it's something people actually don't know about we could do something with that. If it's the latter then maybe they'll spot the gym leader or an Elite Four member going into or out of such a building. If it is a well-known fact there'll be nothing to find instead but the Pokémon might notice that there really is something off. But with the main entrance locked or guarded and no secret entrances that would be all for now.)
Agnar -- Nikelocke
"Hard to tell. I think Moraine's gym leader would be our best bet. His town is the most affected by them." Unless, of course, he didn't mind. But from what Agnar had heard from Alessi, Team Verdant's other commander, that was very unlikely. No one could actually enjoy living in a a place like that. "Not sure about the other gym leaders, though, except for the local one. Some of them probably don't even know. And with the league now more people than ever before will challenge the gyms." The gym leaders wouldn't have much time to do much beside taking on the challengers, especially the first few gyms. A lot of trainers were beginning their quest for badges today and a few others looked like they were already in the middle of collecting theirs. "As for Nikelocke, there's no way any of us could get the gym leader to switch sides. Or convince the citizens. I doubt anyone who lives or works here would turn on Argent, even if they knew the truth. They'd have the most to lose so they really can't afford it."

I can't reply right now, but I will note a few things for you guys! I'd imagine it's well known that the Steel Gym Leader is an Argent supporter. They have direct connections to Argent after all. BUT it's not known by everyone that the Elite Four are all under his command ^^ Until we get a Verdant leader we can't do a ton. Tho if we don't get one in a while I might just nab it myself so we can move on haha)

It seemed like not only had Argent destroyed the town there, but the inhabitant’s spirits as well. ”Well, if the gym challenge was used to distract trainers from the real issues going on then they’ve done it well.” Jet mumbled angrily. It was very frustrating how powerful Argent was or how ignorant everyone was. ”But that’s what our mission is right? To find a way to show everyone of Argent’s doings so they’ll stop supporting them before things get out of hand.” Well, that was his mission at least; to show everyone of how cynical and destructive the corporation really was. Keiji knew he said to much. He suddenly got very defensive and said "No. I won't work with them." he was seriously considering coloring his hair literally anything else but pink "There are specialists within the field and I'm aiming for that." true to his words, he was looking to find a specialty. Knowing all the basics like Nurse Joy was fine, but he'd rather not "But that's not important. We should continue on. Though, I wouldn't mind training that new Pichu I got..." he hummed, looking thoughtful. There was no point bringing a weak team into the more dangerous routes.
Alice -- Route 2
The Ariados dodged the Aurora Beam, using it's many legs and web to scuttle around swiftly. The beam tore through the dwindling web though and Alice called out "Queen, take down more of it's web with Slash!" the Vespiquen, irritated that she'd been knocked back, flew in and started tearing apart the web. The Ariados let out a hiss of irritation and it's shadow lengthened. The Pokemon seemed to disappear into the shadow and it suddenly appeared on the patch of webs near Nora. Once it was close it lashed out at the Spheal.

"Good good... ah! Here it is." she pulled out a Pokedex, blowing the dust off of it "Here's your Pokedex. It'll keep track of every Pokemon you run into. Oh, and here are some basic items." she stepped to the side and pulled out a box with a few Pokeball and healing items in it. Liev was watching this go down, not commenting yet as this was not his moment.

It wasn’t really in her place to judge and she could pester him about it later. ”You can train him on Route 2. Luxie and I could totally help you both!” She piped up when he brought up about training his new pokemon. Beside her, Luxie gave a small cheer when she heard this, excited just like her trainer about helping to train new friends. Due to their newfound excitement, they both started to quicken their pace towards the entrance of the next route. “Come on, training awaits us!”

Céline -- Nikelocke -> Route 1 (Taiyou )
Céline had gotten bored after a while. There were still too many people on the streets so trying to check out one off those off-limits places would be impossible. At least without having people tell her that she wasn't supposed to be there. She had tried several times, for as long as she lived here. She wasn't exactly subtle about it either, having boldly walked up to the doors of such buildings or tried to catch a glimpse through the lowest windows, even if she couldn't see through them. Not that she expected to actually find something interesting, it really only appealed to her because it was kinda mysterious and forbidden. In any case, she had enough for today and was finally ready to leave the city and train her team a bit more. She wouldn't get the Dart Badge for slacking off, after all. She didn't plan on spending too much time on Route 1 though, having already earned her first badge she would have to think of better places to train. Upon reaching Route 1 Céline let out her Fletchinder, allowing it to fly around for a bit. Sleekwing wasn't to fond of the city, unlike Céline's other two Pokémon. With a grin she followed the bird, paying no attention to her surroundings. To her huge surprise not watching where she was going caused her to bump into someone, not that she minded too much. She stumbled back a bit, a cheery "Sorry!" escaping her. Sleekwing shook her head, clacked her beak in annoyance and landed next to her trainer.
Nora -- Route 2
Nora started to grow more and more annoyed with the spider but also was slightly impressed by its speed. It had dodged the attack with ease, much to her Spheal's dismay. But having it tear through the web instead was better than nothing. Alaia cried out when the Ariados lashed out at her and knocked her back, but sounded more angry than surprised or scared. The Spheal allowed herself to roll even further away from Ariados and let out another cry, almost as if she was challenging it to come at her. Nora watched Alaia for a moment and then glanced at Tammo. She waited a second to see if the Ariados would move towards the Spheal or not, then she quickly called out to her Pokémon. "Now, Tammo! Flame Charge! Alaia, tear the web with your Rock Slide!" If the Ariados moved towards the Spheal maybe it would get struck by some of her rocks. And if it didn't it still had the Raboot to reckon with.
Agnar -- Nikelocke
"I just wish they'd be less careful. At this rate we'll only know if they really are hiding something important here or not." That in itself was still better than nothing but Agnar would be lying if he said that he didn't hope for a bit more progress. They'd know that this place was worth looking into, sure, but they still would have to figure out how to get inside and avoid suspicion. Something they'd need a plan and maybe more people for. "I know there are rumors about them but that's just it. No one takes something like that seriously, no matter how believable it sounds." Even if Team Verdant would find some concrete evidence somehow there would still be way too many people who would refuse to believe it. If Corbin Argent or one of his equally corrupt underlings were to slip up in front of some people... now that would be a step in the right direction. At the very least it could plant a seed of doubt in them. That would make things slightly easier. Hayato's growl startled him from his thoughts. Agnar stopped and turned to look at the Lycanroc. The wolf let out another growl, this one lower and more quiet. While Hayato didn't seem to be scared he clearly was unsettled by something. He looked around for a bit as if he was searching for something, walked a few steps towards a narrow alley beside the building they had reached and stopped again, clearly wanting the other to follow. "Do you think there's a way inside from there?" The Lycanroc shook his head but still wanted them to check out the other side of the building, at least what was accessible to the public. "I doubt there's something useful but I guess we'll have a better idea if we look around some more. The more we know the better we can plan later on." Judging by Sesame's and Hayato's reactions there really was something here so they or some other Verdant member could come back here later.
(I'm thinking of having Nao walk around nearby and Lycanroc doesn't want them to be seen. Nao's Jolteon would maybe run into them because it loves to wander off and check things out. No battle, but I think Joltik and Lycanroc would be intimidated by it since they could sense that it's pretty strong.)

The corporation really liked to make things difficult, didn’t they? But he was cut off by Seasame’s squealing. ”What’s wrong Seasame?” He asked her concerned, slowly pulling her from his head and onto his hand, stroking her gently as a way to calm her down. When he heard Hayato’s growl Jet looked up and watched the wolf pad towards the narrow alley, signalling that the group should follow him. Unexpectedly, Seasame jumped out from Jet’s arms and began to scurry beside the larger pokemon, making her way towards the side of the building as well. He was clearly surprised by her sudden boldness but decided not to comment on it, instead opting to follow the pokemon silently. ”Wonder what they could have found..” He mumbled.

"Oh, ok." Kei sighed, knowing he'd have to train eventually. Even if he wasn't the best battler, he did need to have a solid team. Other than his baby Pokemon and his other Pokemon who was.... a bit temperamental. They entered the route and Kei looked around for a decent area. A bit off to their right was a clearing in the trees off the main path. He wandered that way and thought out loud "I wonder if it would be best to find some weaker wild Pokemon to test."
Alice -- Route 2
As it's web was torn apart the Ariados began to fall, Alice called for Queen to use Air Slash. The Air Slash sliced into it, and Tammo came in with the finishing attack. The Ariados, now a but more barbecued than before, hit a tree and slumped to the ground "Ha! That's what you get! Good battle Nora! We totally destroyed that bug!"

Nothing like receiving a Pokedex that had been sitting for a little while. "Thank you Professor! I appreciate this," Blaze responded. "Is there anything that I can do for you other than the filling up the Pokedex?" He heard that she would ask trainers to help with some tasks, but he didn't really mind. She did give him a starter Pokemon and some items. |

Nora -- Route 2
"We sure did! Maybe they'll think twice now before they block off paths!" With a grin Nora turned to Alice. "You and Queen did great, too!" Tammo let out a triumphant cry while Alaia turned to look a the two trainers and squealed at them. While the Spheal was proud, too, she still was displeased with them for ending up in this situation in the first place. Nora couldn't help but laugh at that. "Oh right. I told you you could yell at us later, didn't I." Fortunately the Spheal's rant didn't take longer than a few seconds. Once she was done Alaia rolled towards her trainer, wanting to go back into her Pokéball. "So, wanna get moving or do you want one of the Ariados?" Nora glanced at the large Ariados for a moment. She didn't need another bug Pokémon on her team and she wasn't planning on replacing her Vikavolt.
Nao -- Nikelocke
"Slow down, buddy. It's not like you've never been outside before." With a chuckle Nao watched as Elmsfeuer raced up and down the small set of stairs. The Jolteon acted like he had been trapped inside his pokéball forever. Nao felt slightly sorry for him but it couldn't be helped. They couldn't just let Elmsfeuer out in any kind of building unless it was a stadium. It was impossible for the Jolteon to just sit still, he just had to run around or find something to do. Nao waited for the Pokémon to calm down a little, then they set off, not wanting to stay here for too long. After a few steps they noticed that Elsmfeuer wasn't following and with a sigh they turned around. He just loved to wander off. Nao decided to wait for a while before calling out to him. "Come on, Elmsfeuer, we're leaving!"
Elmsfeuer had rounded a corner and was now stepping into the narrow alley beside the building. He liked to come here, usually to scare off some Pidgey or Pidove. But today was different. The Jolteon suddenly stopped in surprise, not expecting to find humans or these kinds of Pokémon here. Sure, people sometimes walked through here but it wasn't often enough for the Jolteon to get used to it. Elsmfeuer boldly stepped forward, curious about the two Pokémon. He looked back and forth between Lycanroc and Joltik, a smug look on his face as he saw their reaction. Then he turned to leave, just as his trainer called for him. He looked back for a second to grin at the two Pokémon and then ran off to follow his trainer.
Agnar -- Nikelocke
"Who knows? They're not acting up for no reason, though." He, too, wondered what the Pokémon had found or why they wanted to get away from the building's frontside. It wasn't like just standing or walking around here was against the law or something. As he followed the two Pokémon he tried to see if there was anything that could hint at what the corporation was doing here. Before him Hayato suddenly stopped and turned to face the direction they had come from. At the same they could hear someone talking to a Pokémon. "Did they just exit the building?" Agnar kept his voice low, not wanting to risk being heard. The Lycanroc nodded. So what? At worst they'll just tell us to not loiter around here. But then again it was probably better to try and not be seen too soon. If a corporation member told them to leave they would have to do so, at least if they didn't want to cause a scene or look suspicious. Not that Agnar would have minded, it was almost fun to get those scumbags riled up. But there was a time and place for that and if Hayato and Sesame's behavior was anything to go by then it certainly wasn't here and now.
Suddenly the Lycanroc froze, his growl barely audible now. Then he took a few steps to place himself between the two trainers and the Jolteon that was now walking towards them. Agnar stood back and motioned for Jet to do the same. It seemed like no one was following the Jolteon but that didn't mean they should do anything to draw attention to themselves. Hayato growled at the Jolteon and moved to stand over Sesame, in case the strange Pokémon was trying to pick a fight. Agnar watched the Pokémon, ready to give the order to retreat or attack if necessary. One look at Hayato told him that fighting was not an option. While the Lycanroc was still growling at the Jolteon Agnar could tell that he was afraid of it. The Jolteon saw it too, judging by its smug expression. After a few more seconds the Jolteon left, heeding its trainer's call, but not without looking back for a moment, a huge grin on its face. Agnar looked to Hayato and after a moment the Lycanroc nodded. "Okay, looks like we're good to go. Let's see who that was." He hurried back to the buildings front side and stared in the direction the Jolteon and its trainer were going. After a while the two disappeared into another street but they had been visible for long enough to leave no doubt about who they were. "They actually left the building and weren't just passing by, right?" Hayato gave a short growl and sniffed around for a bit as if to show that yes, it was exactly what it looked like.

Or luring them out..” She tapped her chin in thought. She tried searching her bag for anything that would help but what she grabbed out was a small box with a couple of squished poke puffs. ”Poke puffs! Do you think this might lure them out? It’s not the best looking but they smell nice.” She said, though she didn’t sound too sure of herself as she opened the flap of the small box and placed it down on the ground, letting the smell of baked sweet goods slowly waft around the area. The worse thing that could happen was that no wild pokemon came to the smells and she’d look like an idiot. But at least Luxie would be able to have some more puffs to herself. Jet | Nickelocke | w/ Agnar (Pineclaw )Jet followed the pair of pokemon until Hayato had stopped. He then noticed the Jolteon making its way towards the group, to which Seasame whimpered slightly at, seeming to cower almost immediately in its presense. However, when Hayato formed some sort of a protective stance above her, she looked a bit more safe and relieved. Jet couldn’t tell whether the Jolteon wanted to pick a fight or not, its smug expression not really revealing any motive apart from its obvious arrogance and superiority towards the group. He hoped that it wouldn’t create some sort of ruckus to attract Argent members towards group (though it wouldn’t be all too bad as it would give Jet an excuse to create trouble for them). However before Jet could think of anything else, the Jolteon seemed to answer its trainer’s call and walked away, not before giving another arrogant expression at the group. When Agnar finally gave the signal, Jet seemed to sigh in relief and followed his commander. Jet watched the Jolteon and his trainer leave, his eyes drilling holes into the back of her head. ”Is she just some Argent Corp member?” He asked, not recognising the trainer at once. To the side, Seasame gave a small squeak of thanks to Hayato, slowly warming up to the large wolf, but not completely yet.
