Juniperheart shares the bits of the prophecy with Firesoul, handpicking a small group of cats that may potentially be Hollydawn's rival.
Paint (now Paintpaw) is apprenticed to Oat after expressing a deep desire to learn herbs, but Houndstar and Oat are put off a bit when she immediately sets to re-set the herbs in color coordination. But in the shuffle, Paintpaw stops and stares at the broken stalk of a poppy flower and shudder. When asked, she responds with: "You guys didn't hear that thunder? It shook my paws."

Rookstorm and Yewheart take Sodapaw out for his desperately needed hunting assessment. Things seemed to be going fine until Sodapaw falls out of sight for one second. Rookstorm decides to go after him and finds him trying to pounce on a squirrel- only to have a heavy weight tackle her and go for her throat.
She tries to fight it at first, but the weight has her pinned in a way that she can't turn her head. It almost tears into her. Then Sodapaw jumps at the assailant and knocks them off, yowling for her to run before his voice is cut off. Rookstorm turns to find Sodapaw, dying behind her as the murderer runs.
He keeps telling her to run as he wilts away, the bad luck Hallow has wrought finally drugged through the roots of FernClan.
Rain pours through PikeClan, and Paintpaw keeps an eye out for the storm to bring the thunder...

Yewheart comes back to camp, gaunt and dread-filled as she brings Sodapaw's body back to camp. She can't find Rookstorm, and she can't identify the smell of the cat that killed Sodapaw. The rain has muddled up the scents and Sodapaw's body is half caked in mud.
Paintpaw can feel the pain trickled like a lightning strike, but it lessens as she painfully watches the entrance of the camp and runs out. Houndstar and Oat chase after her in the middle of this mild rainstorm.

FernClan is in chaos as the weight of the situation hits them like a monster just burst into their camp and was running straight at them. Bananapaw the worst as for the first time, she screams. She screams so hard at Hollydawn, then at Milo, at Heronblaze, then Yewheart for everything that has happened. She heaves heavily, before collapsing in a huge meltdown.
Houndstar and Oat are forced to stand by the entrance as Paintpaw tramples over the clearing of PikeClan's. Watching as the rain pelts down harder. There, there she sees the bushes rustle, and Rookstorm wobbly appears before the apprentice before collapsing herself. She's hurried to the Medicine Den.

Sootfeather and Otterfur pulled Bananapaw off Yewheart as the Clan again are freaking out. First murder, a missing cat, then a cat figured to be mute SCREAMING???
Yewheart is panicked, thankfully scratched up with no eye injuries, yelling that she wasn't the one to kill Sodapaw. She doesn't know where Rookstorm is.
Otterfur is the only one to start controlling the Clan's panic as Hollydawn uses the panic to hide in his den.
Paintpaw tends to Rookstorm's minor injuries and PikeClan is updated on what's occurred. Oat chooses to bring Branch with her to visit FernClan and see how they're faring with this madness.

Yewheart starts spending more time with Bananapaw. As Bananapaw seems to be the only one who remotly knows what she is going through. Yewheart hopes she isn't scaring Bananapaw. Its getting noticeably harder for Yewheart to stay in control. Bananapaw claims she can see the Evil One inside of Yewheart despite her blindness.
The whole clan is starting to nickname Shadedlight a King.

(im glad this was kept alive, but also that was a lot of drama/dark stuff and maybe tone that down for a bit after the prophecy that's currently going on has finished. :/
also i noticed disabilities of ravenpetal and losttongue were forgotten more then once in previous pages. along with an warrior/queen{bottles} and an apprentice being hinted at having a possible relationship beyond friends and must ask to refrain from any such relationships.)
Lost-tongue has recently been considering joining her brother, Ebonynose, in Pikeclan, but stays in fernclan for the time being. Lost-tongue also feels guilty for having kits with firesoul when hollydawn had been her mate. Chervilflame unknowingly acts rather similar to his grandfather, Chervilblaze.
Ebonynose is seen to recently been worrying about his sister and her kits.

Bananapaw is actually beginning to like Yewheart, and seems to be able to see Yewheart, claiming it's seeing "the evil soul". When Yewheart goes "weird", though, Bananapaw does, like he used to, attempt to scratch the eyes, but he seems to not really be able to control that, and always apologizes.
Hollydawn realizes that with all of the strangeness, he has forgotten to get his new name and nine lives.
Ebonynose is beginning to feel better.

Yewheart; Whenever she feels like she is about to 'go weird', she tries to stay away from Bananapaw to save her some fear, and to try and keep her eyes.

Otterfur takes juniperheart with him when he goes to recieve his new name and nine lives.
