We gotta find some happiness somewhere soon or I'm going to explode-
The kits were very stupid, and in their tantrum had run into the fox that killed Wolfstar. Milo and Rootspark were well into hunting down the faint scent of the fox- and jumped in to protect them. The fox runs off, but Rootspark was heavily injured in the shuffle.

Losttongue kits unexpectedly while Juniperheart is away, leaving only Firesoul to help. She gives birth to, Yewkit, and Berrykit. After Losttongue is finished, Firesoul seems to act like normal.
After Rootspark risked her life to save the kits, they finally except that their mother is gone. And that Rootspark cares about them.

Juniperheart returned and had to have everything that had happened explained to her. She still had to punish Firesoul for practicing medicine, but she also congratulated and rewarded him.
Rootspark is rushed to the Medicine Den, and has lost massive amounts of blood. The kits she was taking care of are worried they'll lose a second mother.

After a while Juniperheart revokes Firesoul's punishment and allows him to practice medicine. Milo is seen playing with the kits a lot. Yewkit seems to have a strange hate for him.
Rootspark tells the kits that everything will be fine, and Branch keeps them out of the medicine cat's den. Rootspark is on the verge of death, yet the kits make her promise she will hang on.

The sudden change of personality for Firesoul is strange. Firesoul's normal now, however Juniperheart is suspicious.
Sodapaw's bad luck seems to have stopped for now. That hasn't stopped Sodapaw from being paranoid though.

Firesoul claims nothing was wrong. Actually, he doesn't remember delivering Losttongue's kits. He doesn't remember anything past when Juniperheart says it started.
Sodapaw transfered back to Fernclan. And he is extra careful near Yewkit, he trys to keep Yewkit from getting hurt.

When Yewkit teased Berrykit, Sodapaw didn't care. When the reverse happened, Sodapaw suddenly leapt to Yewkit's defense and gave a very long lecture to Berrykit, as well as discipline. Most of the clan thinks that it is favoritism, but Berrykit saw fear in Sodapaw's eyes during the lecture.
Rootspark can finally sleep in the nursery again.

Because of the massive amount of favoritism, Yewkit is becoming arrogant and cocky. Yewkit uses it to get out of trouble and aim it at Berrykit.

Berrykit is feeling very upset, so goes and confronts Sodapaw, complaining about how Yewkit is treating him. Sodapaw explains that he thinks that Yewkit is a reincarnation of Hallow, which scares Berrykit, who tells on Sodapaw for telling him that story, and Sodapaw gets in trouble for supposedly "trying to scare Berrykit for the sake of scaring him."
Shadekit is becoming very grumpy after being forced to contain his energy.

Bananapaw is found outside the Elder's den. Yewkit is terrified of the young elder as it seems that Bananapaw can hear what she says, see where she moves. Bananapaw hisses for the first time in ever when Yewkit attempts to scare them away.
Rootspark is healing well and is taking her time moving around the Queen's Den more to get more active with Shadowkit and Shadekit growing up.

No one in the clan is able to connect the dots with Yewkit, Sodapaw, and Bananapaw. Sodapaw wants to tell Bananapaw what he found, but is afraid he'll scare her.

A dead leaf drifted in front of one of Yewkit's eyes, which made her look like Hallow. Sodapaw was near Yewkit at the time, and saw this and yowled in fear when that happened.
Shadowkit and Shadekit are playing more active games with Branch a lot now.

Losttongue is trying to keep Sodapaw away from Yewkit. Losttongue is doing a good job of teaching Yewkit the correct way to behave and Yewkit is becoming nicer.
Branch is able to convince Houndstar to hold off on making Shadowkit and Shadekit apprentices.

Bananapaw is getting better, and shakily takes a walk through camp. When near Yewkit, despite not being able to see, Bananapaw hissed and swiped at Yewkit, scratching Yewkit's nose. The cut was pretty deep, and 3 claws had scratched Yewkit.

Sodapaw goes to Bananapaw and asks her, "I think Yewkit is the reincarnation of Hallow, do you believe me?" Bananapaw froze for a few moments shaking. Bananapaw; despite becoming mute, says: "Yes" Her crackly, rasping voice shook when she said it.
