Despite his imense self doubt, Otterstar is doing much better of a job than Hollydawn. Bananapaw has been working with Yewheart to try and expel the Evil One from her body. They are having no luck and are making zero progress.

hunting patrols have made fishing into a friendly competition of who can catch the biggest fish.
Eaglekit and Cherrykit have been made into apprentices, their mentors are leechclaw(Eaglepaw) and Ebonynose(Cherrypaw). Eaglepaw nervously announces during the ceremony that they dont feel like they either male or female and requests everyone use they/them/their when speaking of them.

Because the river curled through the gathering place, before the leaders announce their news, the warriors and apprentices have a tournament for whoever could catch the biggest fish. And the winner gets to bring most of the fish caught back for their clan.

Otterstar and Houndstar awake one night in the plains of Starclan, approaching them is none other than Sodapaw. Who was named Sodapawn upon his death.
He tells of a group of cats that will be the key to saving them from sickness.
"The truth is in flowers, but your coughs will be spread with blood. Four cats, born under grievous means, living with shadows of their past. They will find a cure for your Petal Cough."
In the afternoon, a patrol returns to PikeClan. Cherrypaw is seen to be woozy and is forced into the Medicine Den when she keeps coughing up snot and wretches her throat.
