Spiritstar sent a soft and assuring look over towards Warblerpaw, even while she was being aided to the medicine den. She wanted to make sure that Emberpaw had been attended to as well. And while she was not angry at the apprentice at all, she did need to make sure this kind of accident couldn't happen again. She could tell by the way the apprentice was curled up in a ball of guilt and fear that it was already more than enough trauma for her. Perhaps a moon or two of nest duties would do far better for her to calm her than anything else. She also wanted to speak with Warblerpaw as soon as possible... Starclan, how much it pained her knowing that her son had to see her die.
Plumwillow, in a surprising show of seriousness, approached Warblerpaw, resting her tail gently on his shoulder. "You doing okay? I'm sorry you had to see something like that. Even if she's back home and safe again... I know that doesn't mean much to make what happened any better. But, I'm here if you need to talk, always." She promised to her apprentice.

Briarpatch lifted her head from Flarestorm's shoulder as she heard the leader's voice, letting out a great sigh of relief. "She's alright," she whispered. Her voice sounding like she was trying to convince herself as much as everyone else.
Skyflight let go of Spiritstar's scruff, allowing the leader to lean on her shoulder instead. "Oh thank Starclan. Spiritstar we were so worried!" The older warrior looked worn after climbing down the cliff and carrying the leader all the way back to camp, but her eyes shined as she took in Spiritstar's newly healed body.

Warblerpaw dipped his head gratefully to Plumwillow, appreciative of her gesture.
"Thank you," he murmured. "I appreciate it, I really do."
He gazed after his mother with concern, but knew well-enough to stay out of the medicine cats' way. Beside, he couldn't ignore how weariness dragged at his bones. Nodding to his father and mentor, he flicked an ear.
"I think I'll go to my nest for now," he meowed, subdued. "Someone will get me when she's well enough to see, right?"

Flarestorm nodded against his mate's shoulder, mewing gently to her. "It's all okay. I'm sure she's got plenty of lives left even still. These things happen to every leader." He assumed, thinking of how many lives Lightningstar or Earthstar had surely lost by now. Spiritstar slowly regained her walking strength, and while she was not ashamed or embarrassed to lean on her clanmates, she did hope that nobody thought she was gravely injured or going to die again. Instead, she gave a small hum. "I... heard Quickwing, in the water. She... you all pulled me out. I knew you would come get me. Thank you, all of you." She thanked, looking warmly at Skyflight and the rest of the patrol.

"I'll get you myself the second she steps foot back out of the medicine den." Plumwillow nodded quickly, looking down at Warblerpaw with a look of both sympathy and relief. She nodded towards the apprentice's den. "Go and get some rest. And don't worry about duties tomorrow. I'd rather you spend time with your parents than worry about nests or lessons."

Warblerpaw simply nodded in return, grateful for everything Plumwillow did for him. He padded towards the apprentice's den where it was nestled in the cliffside, pawsteps heavy as he passed by his Clanmates and fellow apprentices.
As he dragged himself into his nest in the middle of the den, he found it difficult to get comfortable; the sound of Spiritstar's landing, the way her body twisted on itself as she fell - it just kept playing in his head. He shut his eyes tighter, trying to think of anything at all to distract him; he only succeeded to drift off to the guilty thought that he'd like to rake his claws through Emberpaw's pelt.

Lolo opened her eyes and got up. The sun light that hits the rocks gave some headache at first. When the kittypet got used to the light, she spoke up: "Nettlesting, are you here? I will go, but first I need tell you something."

Lolo opened her eyes and got up. The sun light that hits the rocks gave some headache at first. When the kittypet got used to the light, she spoke up: "Nettlesting, are you here? I will go, but first I need tell you something." Nettlesting had just returned from asking one of his clanmates about Spiritstar’s wellbeing. Once he was sure she would be okay, he returned to the spot where Lolo was. He was surprised to see she had awoken, but he quickly asked. “Yes? What do you need to tell me?”

"I will go for now. When Spiritstar get better, tell for me that I can always know news. Especially from other clans.." Lolo meowed the last phrase with a contrast. The kittypet could go to her house. She'd limp a bit but, the she-cat can handle it.

The kittypet could go to her house. She'd limp a bit but, the she-cat can handle it. Nettlesting blinked in surprise, and even a bit in disappointment. He had already grown so interested in Lolo's tales of her life, so different from his own. The fact that she would be returning to her home made his chest ache. Even so, he felt a flicker of interest at her words. He looked around quickly to make sure no other cat was listening to them, as he whispered to her. "You... want to stay in touch? I mean, I don't mind giving you updates, ah... Maybe I can come out and meet you, some nights? Twolegplace isn't too far, and technically I'd be in my own territory if you talked from a fence." He offered.

"Hm, good trade" Lolo aproved Nettlesting's offer. Lolo showed a soft smile, purring quietly: "When we should meet?" The kittypet noticed that her relation with the warrior was forbidden. So, it must be kept in secret.

Briarpatch nodded slowly, she took a deep breath feeling her heart rate slow back down to normal and her fur flattening. "You're right. I'm being silly, these kits must be doing something to me. I've never been this emotional before." she mewed, licking her chest with slight embarassment.
Skyflight dipped her head to the leader, "Of course we would. Quickwing was very brave jumping in the water like that. Her swimming was very impressive for a Skyclan cat." she mewed, eyes shining as she looked at the younger she-cat.

You care, so much. I always loved that about you.” Flarestorm mewed softly, looking at his mate with a flicker of both love and sadness. “I know I’ve usually got a pretty airy response to things, but this time… I wish I knew what to say. Nothing can bring lost lives back.” He mewed, shaking his head slowly. He looked at her stomach and decided. “First thing we’ll teach them is to stay away from the ledges until they can truly climb them. And, to stay in Camp.” “…Quickwing…” Spiritstar murmured softly, before her eyes softened with both pride and gratitude for her young Warrior. She rasped. “I would use all of my lives to protect all of you, but I am grateful she and you all have spared me the remainder. All of you, so brave.”

So, it must be kept in secret. Nettlesting looked around quickly again, before he leaned in, whispering to her as a sense of giddiness filled him at the anticipation of such a secret meetup. “In three days, right when the moon is highest in the sky, that way we can avoid the patrols. There’s a fence at the end of the Twolegplace line, with big vines growing on it. They can give us some extra cover, yeah?”

"Yes, i think.. I don't go too much on this part of the town..." Lolo whispered, as she gave a big smile to the warrior. "Goodbye.. No! What your wild cats say..? May Heavenclan light your paws?" The she-cat purred, almost being sure that she said the expression wrong.

The she-cat purred, almost being sure that she said the expression wrong. “May Starclan light your path.” Nettlesting corrected with a chime of laughter, more humored at her guess than he was offended or slighted by the silly naming of Starclan. He looked at her and mewed. “If you feel better, I can see if Spiritstar or Whitesun will let me escort you back home.”

Lolo said to Nettlesting, after a moment of silence she wished to the warrior: "Please take care, you don't know the dangers that lays on the forest.." Nettlesting bit his lip quickly, before he shook his head and stood to his paws. “I’ll escort you back then. The Clan will be too preoccupied to want to deal with getting a full patrol to bring you back. So, I’ll go with you.” He offered, looking around quickly. Luckily, he didn’t mind too much if he got scolded, but there was currently no restrictions on Warriors going out alone, and what harm was it if he just escorted a kittypet back to her home?

Lolo dipped her head and started walking. Enjoying her 'last' moment at the forest, she could feel the soft grass, the breeze. Like the forest cats would say: only Starclan knows when she'd step on the forest again. The sun was setting, and the kittypet could see the twolegplace's lights.. Oh no! Fireflies were shining and surronding the air, giving a beatiful landscape because of them.

Nettlesting had been quiet for most of their quick trek, though his eyes brightened with wonder as he noticed the fireflies. He supposed it was that time, when Greenleaf began. He watched the blinking bugs for a moment, before glancing at Lolo and purring. “Aren’t they amazing? They come out only for a few moons, when Greenleaf starts. They like the Twoleg yards, I think.”

"Yes, they are. I had saw them as a kit, but I wasn't too much brave to sneak out and play with them." Lolo told to Nettlesting, while admiring the pleasant landscape. The kittypet sat down, while a bug landed at her muzzle. She sneezed and purred thinking on how dumb the fireflies were.

Nettlesting hid his laughter behind his paw, though he quickly stood to pad towards one of the fireflies, batting it playfully before he looked at Lolo and watched her for a moment. He felt a warm flicker in his belly when he heard her purr of laughter. She truly was a cat he wanted to know better. “Well.” He purred. “You’re brave enough now, it seems. Fearless, even!”

Lolo smiled at Nettlesting's phrase. The cats stayed for a moment while the fireflies returned to their possible dens.. Do fireflies had their houses? Nobody knows.. The she-cat could smell the polluted air from twolegplace. They were close to her house.

Nettlesting padded slowly back towards camp, able to see that the Clan was still buzzing around the medicine den, and chattering in worry for Spiritstar. He watched them, though he felt heavy knowing that Lolo was already back in Twolegplace. He only hoped he wouldn't be scolded for escorting her home, after all, the Clan wouldn't be burdened with another cat to feed. He scoffed tightly, Lolo was not a burden, no matter what the stupid code said.

Warblerpaw grunted as he stirred awake in his nest, his golden dappled pelt rumpled. His jaws stretched in a yawn, baring sharp teeth, and he sat for a moment as he pondered his visit with Robinstar. Then night after the next, he would meet with her again, and he would begin his training in earnest. He knew that what he was going to do was for the good of the Clan and his family, so why did he feel so guilty?

The tom’s eyes flickered with sympathy as he mewed. “You’re up. I hope I didn’t wake you. But, it’s looking like Spiritstar’s going to be okay, she’s in the medicine den right now, but I saw her sitting up. A good sign, I think.” He offered.

"You didn't, don't worry," the older apprentice said. "Thanks for letting me know, really. Do you think they'll let me see her? Or do you think Spiderbite will pluck my whiskers out?" Warblerpaw joked lightly with Basilpaw.
