(It's fine!) Clovertail just nodded, turning her paws to the direction of the oaks. They took their time, a comfortable silence falling over them until they reached the oaks. "Want to go first?" She offered, flicking her tail to one of the trees. "Yeah. I can go first." Dreamlily nodded softly, eyeing one of the many trees around them and choosing the closest one. She saw the old claw marks in the bark and comfortably began climbing her way upwards. She padded slowly along each branch she climbed, tail drooping as she rasped. "I just hope my father is having a better time outside of the Clans than I am having in them." She looked out across the forest. "Skyclan is so beautiful up here... I used to climb with him all the time, and now..." Clovertail followed Dreamlily up, keeping silent. Dreamlily had a lot of past to dwell on, a lot of things that had happened in her life. They settled on a sturdy branch, looking out across the landscape. "I sounds like you miss him very much." She mewed. "I know most cats don't go through what you did, and I can't quite say that I understand how it feels, because I don't. But I do know how it feels to lose some cat close to you, and it can hurt. Even many seasons later, it'll hurt."

Ledgepaw startled a bit when he felt his mentor's paw graze his pelt. He watched the small fur tips fall from his side, bewildered at Eaglenose's speed and control, before he blinked owlishly. "I can see why. That looks like it would leave a real bad scratch if it hits." He seemed to grin, eyes gleaming with determination. "I'll give it a try!" "Go on, then," Eaglenose encouraged, readying himself for the move. He had to make sure he reminded himself to let the apprentice try the move and not act like he was in real battle. Eventually, they would upgrade to real tussles, but for now he wanted to get the moves across. Eaglenose dashed towards his apprentice, bringing his paw up once again to try and swipe at his face. Ledgepaw nodded quickly, narrowing his eyes with thought before he lunged towards his mentor. He did his best to imitate his movements, waiting until Eaglenose got close before he darted to the side. He lifted his paw to make a slashing movement towards his side. Though, Ledgepaw gasped as his hind leg caught on a small rock. While he did dodge Eaglenose's dash at him, he ended up stumbling down half-way through thanks to the rock. He hissed loudly, moreso in frustration than in actual pain. How embarassing!

Dreamlily murmured, only for her eyes to flicker with guilt as she looked at Clovertail. "I'm sorry. Here I am talking about my father as if he's dead, when yours is..." She trailed off, glancing away before she drooped. "It's probably the last thing you want to hear about. I'm sorry." She apologized, voice soft as snow.

Eaglenose spun around to face his apprentice, hearing the fall before he actually set eyes on Ledgepaw. He hurried to the younger tom's side, looking concerned. "Are you okay?" he asked. He inspected his apprentice briefly from where he stood, though he was really worried if Ledgepaw had twisted his paw or scratched himself on the rock.
