Redspring's eyes perked up as she heard her name called, a sort of deep relief and pride filling her. Mentoring was always something she wanted to do, something she yearned to do. Now would be her chance, alongside her closest friends as well. She padded forwards steadily, standing tall before Flyingpaw, before lowering her muzzle to the young apprentice's.

"Springpaw! Flyingpaw! Twigpaw!" My cats called.
Willownose was happy to hear Redspring get an apprentice. Now the three of them could work together to train them as mentors!

Spiderpaw nodded curtly when the apprentice ceremonies were over. Now he could go back to working with the herbs. However, he frowned when Spiritstar didn't dismiss the Clan.
"As great as it is that the Clan has many new apprentices to celebrate, our blessings from StarClan do not cease." Spiritstar looked out at her Clan with a purr rumbling her throat. "Three apprentices have passed their assessments. Sandpaw, Amberpaw, and Darkpaw! Today, you shall receive your warrior names! Please, step forward!"
Spiderpaw's jaw dropped. What?! He looked over at his siblings. They were becoming warriors?! Already?!

"Sandpaw, stop squirming!" Amberpaw hissed as she tried to smooth her sister's fur, but Sandpaw was already gone, stepping forward.
"Give it up Amberpaw." Darkpaw snickered as he stepped up, a begrudging Amberpaw at his side.

Flyingpaw chuckled. "Oh good! I love a challenge! I'm going to climb all the way to the top of Skystar Tree before anyone knows it!"
"Sandpaw, Amberpaw, Darkpaw, you have shown the true skills of SkyClan." Spiritstar purred at the young cats. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend SkyClan even at the cost of your lives?"
(I...honestly have to remember the ceremony...*stares into the void*)

Lavendersky tipped her head a bit to face Spiderpaw, "The path of a medicine cat is a long one. Many apprentices have had to watch their siblings earn their names before them."
"Yes!" The three chimed excitedly, though Sandpaw was bouncing, Amberpaw was standing straight, and Darkpaw sorta just sat there.

"Hm," was Spiderpaw's only reply. He didn't look at his mentor. He only stared at his siblings. All the effort he had put toward becoming a medicine cat. He thought he would earn his name at the same time as them--if not before. Was he not working hard enough? Was there something he hadn't learned? Did they not see his effort?
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names!" Spiritstar called out strongly. "Sandpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Sandspirit. StarClan honors your energy and your spirit. Amberpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Ambergaze, StarClan honors your sturdiness and dedication. Darkpaw, you shall be known as Darkjay. StarClan honors your skill and your bravery, and we welcome you as full warriors of SkyClan!"

Ambergaze snorted softly, "Mine is so literal." She said, though her eyes were beaming.
Darkjay chuckled softly, "I guess I'm going to soar through the trees like a bird."

Spiderpaw called out his sibling's names, but didn't put much effort into it. Those were good names, he supposed. Spiderpaw tapped his tail and had to look away.
Splashecho and my other cats cheered for the new apprentices and warriors!

Witherpaw blinked lightly, his pale eyes flickering with something akin to surprise, before they slackened into his quiet calmness once again. The tom padded silently towards Spiritstar, peering up without a blink or a twitch.

Withermist smiled lightly at the name, appreciating it immensely. He dipped his head softly, before he felt his fur prickle warmly at the attention he was getting, not used to having eyes on him.

Withermist watched his fellow new Warriors with a glimmer of humor in his eyes, though he remained as silent as snow, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. He watched quietly, the thought of a vigil during a nice night sounding perfect. He liked the sounds of night, hoping to hear an owl.

Hawkpaw touched Willownose’s nose with a purr, excited to finally be an apprentice and ready to train as hard as possible.
Whitesun watched proudly as his kits were named apprentices, calling out the names of all the newly named apprentices and warriors as they were named.

Spiritstar dismissed the Clan after the ceremonies.
Spiderpaw got up and padded back into the medicine den, his tail hanging low.
Splashecho nuzzled against her mate. "I'm so proud of them."
Flyingpaw crouched in front of Redspring. "So, what's first?! Are we going to learn to climb now?"

Sparrowstrike flicked his ears in agreement. "It seems like just yesterday they opened their eyes. Now they're off to learn how to be warriors. I think they'll be happy with their mentors, I can't wait to see what they'll come show us." he purred. Thinking back to his own apprenticeship he sighed, "I'm glad their apprenticeship will be nothing like ours, do you remember being stranded in Shadowclan together?"
