Splashecho flattened her ears at the mention of her apprenticeship. Rainfall disappeared around that time. "ShadowClan..." Splashecho shook her head. "They're so much different from us." Cliffheart was there and she still hadn't forgiven him. Just because they came and warned them of the fire, doesn't mean that the fire couldn't have been their fault in the first place. "I like it much better here."

Sparrowstrike chuckled, "Well of course, Skyclan is our home. Neither of us were very comfortable while we were there, but I suppose it was better than being captives of Adderclan. You don't need to worry about that though, we'll never have to leave Skyclan again." he reassured quietly, placing his tail around her shoulders.

"Good." Splashecho smiled softly up at him. "I'm grateful that SkyClan is led by Spiritstar now. If I had to go back..." She trailed off, the memories of being in AdderClan haunting her. She pressed against her mate, thanking StarClan once again for him. "I couldn't have survived with you, Sparrowstrike."

Sparrowstrike pressed his nose to her ear, feeling guilty for bringing it up. He knew how much Adderclan still haunted his mate. "You helped me through it too Splashecho. I was such a embarrassing clutz back then." he mewed trying to lighten the conversation. "I think I would have walked straight into a ditch without you there in Shadowclan."

Weaselpaw's rper hasn't been very active but perhaps he could tag along for fun with the territory tour lol )
Ashfeather stayed where he was, watching Willownose and Redspring fondly as they interacted with their new apprentices.
Sparrowstrike tilted his head, "Maybe, maybe not. I feel much more comfortable in this territory, just like you. I'm not nearly as clumsy in our own land. Shadowclan was full of dips and ditches and swampy land. You never knew where the ground was solid!"

Willownose glanced at Hawkpaw, wondering where to start. She supposed the three couldn’t go on their patrol now, but maybe she could show her the territory. “Do you want to see what it’s like out of camp?” She asked, glancing at Redspring and her apprentice momentarily.

Sparrowstrike nodded stiffly, he didn't exactly have the same views of the other clan as his mate, but he wasn't going to argue with her fears. "At the end of the day you can only trust the cats in your own clan. I know I can always rely on you, Skyflight and our kits and that's about all I need."

Redspring glanced down at Hawkpaw for a moment before she nodded to Flyingpaw. “How about we all go see the territory together. It’ll be easier in one group, I would think.” She offered, looking at Willownose with a warmth she reserved for her. “Ashsong and us were going to hunt, but this could be a better thing to do, if he wants to join us.”

“It’ll be a good teamwork lesson if we can train them together.” Redspring nodded firmly, looking between the apprentices with a flicker of interest. She nodded down to Flyingpaw.
“You’ll have to learn everyone’s scents as accurately as you can. Best to start out with multiple at once to get used to it.”
