I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this; it's not fair. I hope that you can get the answers and treatment that you need. Thank you <3 I finally talked to my doctor today, and she said it's precancer. So not cancer but not not cancer. Basically I had options to keep it from progressing. I'll have another procedure done next week thats terrible but also I am really glad this is something they caught now instead of later when it developed further

We knew it was possible this would happen, so that's why I had the surgery done. Hopefully all goes well next week with my procedure. And then I have to wait 3 months to have another surgery to see if the procedure worked

My cat has cysts which are going to be removed soon and I'm scared they are cancerous (her breed is more prone to that) and/or will grow back. She's doing fine right now and has a lot of quality of life, but I'm scared she'll suddenly go downhill really fast.

More jerks at work, and another panic attack. This time the Karen triggered it on purpose because I told her pointblank I was getting anxious and needed to step away before it got worse. She said I was “over-reacting” and to stop being a baby while screaming at me about the customer always being right, saying I’m a horrible person, and that I can just quit my job and find another one if I don’t like it.
How is this not bullying or abuse? At least she was banned from the store like the last one who did something like this. It takes a special kind of idiot to get banned from Goodwill.

Found out someone in my high school class passed away and I’m feeling so weird about it. He was a really nice guy and I had a lot of classes with him over the four years. I chatted with him a lot before class started, but I never talked to him after graduation. I’m just feeling so sad about it, but it feels weird bc I didn’t really know him all that well. Just a little venting I guess.

They keep telling me that us that there's no time to get to know each other, just quickly get married and have kids before you're too old to take care of them. how to guarantee an unhappy marriage that eventually ends in divorce EDIT: also 30 is not old at all. even by recent historical standards. my grandparents got married in their 30s in the 1950s and they were not considered weird or "too old" for that.

I have an aunt that didn't get married until she was 45 and managed to have two children before hitting menopause at 50. There is still plenty of time. And even then kids aren't for everyone and not everyone can have them. Its reckless and selfish to bring life into the world to satisfy your own wants and to push responsibility and expectations on them before theyre even born rather than because you want to raise a little human with their own needs and desires.
Not to mention from what I've seen multiple times the parents who have kids with the intent of the kids just being servants when theyre old are always the ones then going on to mistreat their kids and then wonder why they don't talk to them as adults and die alone. If you just show love and appreciation to them they'll probably reciprocate it without having to be asked of guilt tripped into doing it out of obligation rather than love.

Parents should never pressure their kids to have children, no matter how badly they want to be grandparents. It's a selfish and frankly kind of petty reason to push people to make a decision that will probably not only be the biggest decision of their lives, but also the lives of their offspring as well.

Welp had my procedure today. It went well, but I'm nervous about the pain once the numbing agent wears off.
Ontop of that, I keep needing to go to the bathroom. I looked into that, and other people had similar issues. Which was due to bladder perforation. So uh, I'm worried. Definitely calling my doctor in the morning.

The definition of slowly slipping into insanity is listening to an ice cream truck jingle in the distance for 20 minutes straight. Oh. My. God. I spent a god damn hour hunting down an ice cream truck in the distance a week ago for my little brother. Thankfully I found that ice cream truck, if I hadn’t I think I would have murdered someone.

i hate property taxes. it makes home ownership cost prohibitive for anyone who isn't wealthy. oh we want to own a modest little starter home? that'll be $500 a month on top of your mortgage, please, and maybe more later if we decide to raise the tax rate against your wishes. you made slight improvements to your house so that the front yard looks nicer? hm well that raises your lot's value so another $50 a month. oo sorry but the renters and rich around you decided the public school needed more funding at every november election for the last five years, so now your monthly taxes have increased $200 even tho you could barely afford the property taxes before that. forget about ppl on fixed-incomes. your house has doubled in value due to poor government policies that caused inflation and a housing crisis? shucks, that's terrible, but now your property tax payment have effectively doubled too thanks to completely unrealized gains, so even more money for the government at your expense, weee!
this rant is brought to you by the fact that even with current rates, a mortgage for a 1100sqft starter home would only be a little more than what we pay each month in rent, but property taxes add a whopping $400/month even with a homestead exemption. no wonder my generation can't afford homes!!

My cat went to the vet a few days ago. She's doing fine thankfully. She got medicine for the cysts, and the samples are being tested. I still hope it's not cancer. And the same day, I took my medicine late and had a horrible day.
