We had to euthanise my dog yesterday. To whoever said "oh don't worry they just fall asleep and die" f**k you because that was terrifying and I didn't even know that a dog's spine could bend like that They're supposed to use a strong sedative before the actual injection, I feel like they had to have done it wrong and you should definitely not go back to whoever did that service because they really are supposed to go peacefully and that doesn't sound okay one bit. I'm so so sorry you had to witness that. Yeah, the vet didn’t give her a sedative because apparently she was so “out of it” she didn’t even know where she was or what was happening and that her blood pressure was already way too low (she had trouble finding the vein) also she was already dead when all the creepy stuff happened, it was just her muscles reacting. It was still really scary though, her left legs went tense and lifted off the floor so it looked like she was still alive |

Watching animals die can be very traumatizing, especially if it is an animal you are close to like a pet. In my experience, they never look like they are just going to sleep when euthanizing an animal with or without giving them drugs to sedate them. I am sorry you had to experience one especially traumatic to watch.

I had the worst winter breaks so far. I have never felt so miserable while going on vacation bc I have to keep feeding into my parents'delusions. Then I found out one of my cousins had passed away from a f*cking instagram post from his sister of all things. This is only the first week of the break, and already I wish school started soon.

I just love when my parents say ew to two gay men kissing on tv. Like, it’s two people who are in love (at least the characters are), do you want gay people to say ew whenever you’re affectionate with your husband??? I swear, I know I don’t have it as bad as some people, but I hate my family sometimes. They hate anything that’s different from what the Bible says and it’s annoying. I’m Christian too, but I’m not that Christian. The only semi-supportive one is my sister and that was only because I told her I was a furry and she didn’t know anything about it so I got to explain it to her the right way. Let me guess, TLoU? |

In other news, just unsubbed from r/WarriorCats for dragging politics into their stuff. Doesn’t help that Goldenpaw deleted his Reddit account, Bramble x Squirrel is still discussed every other week, and the UI won’t save my upvotes, so there’s no real incentive for me to stick around there. At least I’ve still got r/eldersden and r/dawnpatrol, as well as the forums. But it didn’t have to be this way.

Is it normal to be called names by your mom when she's upset/annoyed? For example, when I asked her not to make comments abt my room, she got annoyed and called me a "little shit". Btw, this doesn't happen every time she's upset, but idk, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe this is why I'm somewhat hostile towards my family.

Maybe this is why I'm somewhat hostile towards my family. idk if I can judge whether it's "normal"... but is it expected behavior for a parent to exhibit toward their child in a healthy family dynamic? no. most parents i know don't call their kids names, and even fewer swear at their children for something as small as a little backtalk (if we categorized your request un-generously). but i might live in a bubble in that regard. |

Btw, this doesn't happen every time she's upset, but idk, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe this is why I'm somewhat hostile towards my family. Piggybacking off of Shad, I can't speak for normalcy but its not great to speak to anyone that way, even less your own children and family members. Its fine to voice frustration but imagine name-calling like that to any other person and people would consider it anywhere from bullying to verbally abusive. If its said in anger and not in a playfully teasing way then it definitely is. (Thinking about the times someone called me a "little shit", was usually after I did something slightly clever/funny and it was said as more of a praise? Meanwhile the things said to me out of anger were usually accusatory to straight up slurs and expletives. But its sounds like even if the words are the same, for you it was hostile.) It also hurts to hear it from anyone but doubly so your own parent think of you that way. |

Alright, we’ll call this guy… um… ばか, or baka (fool in Japanese)
So Baka loves bullying me for my mental disorder, misophonia. (Google it! There is much to be said and not enough time to explain misophonia.) And idk why. So he’s beatboxing and slurping and I’m like, “Dude. Could you at least not do that around me?”
“I’m just singing!” UGHHHHHHHH.
Then there is hummingbird. Old nickname of hers. SHE FRIGGIN HATES MY GUTS. But she’s my crush’s BFF, so lucky me! I have to put up with her. She pretends to be my friend when she needs me, and then hates me again. And she loves getting a reaction from me.
And all my friends try to get it but they just don’t and I’m the only neurodivergent person in my friend group ugggggh.
AND THEN my parents are always fighting. It’s miserable. It feels like the only people who get me are my pets. And crows.
Haha and then all my social awkwardness and anxiety
So, yeah.

i came to the realization i start getting suicidal whenever i'm understimulated. i need enrichment in my enclosure but literally nothing is fun or holding my attention anymore because adhd goes brrrrrr. please send help before i start bouncing off the walls and hurting myself because i can't be entertained enough.
i need medication lol.

That sucks. I’m so sorry. ADHD is honestly a pain and it can suck. Have you tried multitasking, like felting or being on your phone while doing an activity? It can be pretty helpful. |

Unfortunately I dont really have the type of adhd that is actually good at multitasking, I either am entirely 100% invested in a single thing or I'm not. And currently because I'm not invested, nothing really seems to be filling the void I guess. My usual thing is to just basically throw all of my previous interests and projects at a wall and hope one of them sticks to it but they're all rubber biscuits. |

SO I have this really bad habit where if I have loose/dead skin around my fingernails I'll start to pick at it. It hurts like hell, but I just keep doing it and I don't know why. My pinky and my thumb currently look like a mangled mess. I would put bandaids over them, but I'd just pick at that and it would peel off in a few minutes. I got no idea what to do about it. TW: Mentions of SA accusations, VERY VERY VERY LONG Alright, so my ex best friend (M) and my childhood crush/boyfriend/best friend (K) are currently in a legal situation. She's accusing him of SA and he's saying that he didn't do anything. I'm not trying to pick sides on this, but I believe K. Mainly because M is a known liar, especially in situations like this. She used to lie to and about me and told our theatre group that I was mean to her when I wasn't. Anyways, she always willingly went with him and never came back in a scared mood or hurt in any way. Another reason she could be lying is because her parents would be very mad at her if they found out she was sneaking around with somebody or had a boyfriend without telling them. The security footage shows her going into a room with him, going out, and then going back in, which is a bit odd. Also, K is a very easy target to blame. Before he was adopted, he grew up with a terrible family where there were addictions and abuse. K was expelled from school and had to leave theatre while M got no punishments whatsoever, which I find extremely unfair since he could be innocent and she could be lying. Again, not trying to take sides on this situation, since I have no idea what actually happened, but M is a known liar and K was always there for me during elementary school and in the past few years.
On the bright side, people have been seeing more of him a bit more around town lately! My mom saw him at Walmart and told him I said hi (I told her to if she ever saw him). She told me that he also says hi and seemed like he was very grateful that someone cared. |
