FFS would people PLEASE stop thinking I’m 5-6 years younger than I am I’m sure one day I’ll be grateful for it but rn it’s just rlly annoying I've had people think that way of me, too. It doesn't help that I'm petite.  |

I was at the dentist a few weeks ago and when I off-handedly mentioned that I had a husband, the assistant was like "???" and I had to explain that I'm 23. She thought I was 15. This happens at least once a month :[ |

So, I get the look of  when I order it as, apparently, I'm not old enough for a non-alcoholic mojito.A few weeks ago, I ordered pineapple juice and the waitress brought it to me with a straw in it. Like as if it's a kid drink and I'm the child. I wanted to hide under the table after that. I go to a different café and order it, they give me an actual glass to pour it in. European inconsistencies smh. |

Whenever I go out to a café here and I'm looking at the non-alcoholic drinks, there's one I usually like to get (mojito), but it's usually made with alcohol. So, I get the look of when I order it as, apparently, I'm not old enough for a non-alcoholic mojito.A few weeks ago, I ordered pineapple juice and the waitress brought it to me with a straw in it. Like as if it's a kid drink and I'm the child. I wanted to hide under the table after that. I go to a different café and order it, they give me an actual glass to pour it in. European inconsistencies smh. That's super rough. :/ Honestly this is one reason why I love wearing masks outside- no one gets to see most of my face. Here's another issue with looking eternally youthful: few people ever take you seriously. You could have the mind of a leader, and perhaps the voice to match, but to everyone else you just look like a teenager fresh out of high school, or still in it.  |

We're just naturally inclined to be more likely to listen to an older individual than a kid (or "kid"). A more mature looking face, a taller height, a deeper sounding voice, all point towards signs of maturity. There are some things which may be impossible to properly change. :/ |

went to my aunt's party yesterday and oh my GOD. this one girl just screamed in my ear like it was nothing and no one punished her for it. told my dad in which he said that girl would've gotten told off if he was there. so fun having 2 kids at the party scream like they weren't getting the candy they wanted in your ear and all you can do is just sit there and cover your ears

I struggle quite a bit with psychosis and now that Tumblr is allowing random sponsored posts to randomly show up on my dash, I keep seeing unsolicited religious "This is your sign to repent" "This is a sign to xyz" posts and it's honest to god messing with my paranoia and psychosis. Sponsored posts also bypass filtered tags on the app so there's no way for me to prevent these posts from popping up. This really sucks.

I don't use tumblr so I don't know if this is the case, but some kind of ad block might help? The one I use, uBlock Origin, is free and does a good job of filtering out the things I don't want to see lol Maybe you already use an extension of some kind, so sorry if that isn't useful information.
