(I've been lurking as well. Gotta say love the headcanons and what ideas have come been proposed. Anyway, I'm in agreement with you guys. I'm all for moving forward and continuing on because I love all the characters. But as Starchaser said it feels weird to move on without Bee and neither Chloroform or Dreamer have posted in a while. But Bee hasn't been on since the ninth and at least half of us are interested in continuing. So, I'm not entirely sure what we should do.)

Hmmmmmmmmmmm............ Gonna put this out here: I think Bee would probably want us to continue in her absence. No use in letting a perfectly good RP die because of inactivity. I've seen this happen so many times where the creators go AWAL and then the people in it get stuck. I'll take the fall if she's mad at us moving forward. But if everyone else wants to move on, I'm more than willing to press on.)

(There are a few things we can do from here I think. One would be having the Hunters retreat, everyone get introduce to each other, and then moving on from there. If we just want to get this part over with, maybe have a post or two finish up the battle and do a bit of a time skip to the next day.)

(I think that sounds about good. Did we ever figure out what moon phase they were in? I know Shoot for the Stars was trying to figure out what phase it was for Clarisse, but I'm not sure what was decided. Also, should we discuss some about the portal/map first? Could the crystals form or be used for both maybe?)

In the thick of the fighting, the werewolf female had not noticed the desolation to the town square. Now that it was basically over, she slowed down to take in her surroundings. There was destruction all over the city, but it was the amount of blood that stood out to her in the starkest fashion. She knew she looked no less covered herself and yet, when she sat down on the town square sets, she couldn't be bothered clean herself off.
Smell told her that the warriors around her were the other crystal holders and they looked just as beat up as she did. Her feet, aching and bruised, shook from the exhaustion of the day. Clarisse focused on calming her breathing. There was a male to her right that had been dragged across the square and even though she couldn't see much of him, she knew that he would be hurting in the morning. The wounds on her body had started to heal already. A perk of being a werewolf. The only wound that would heal over an extended time was the bullet wound in her ear.
Clarisse was afraid to touch it and see the extent of the damage. Some silver wounds never healed correctly or healed at all.
She set her pack in her lap, cradling the crystal inside against her stomach. Out of all the things to loose, she did not want to loose that. It was far too valuable, especially now that the Hunters were inside the cities and doing massive amounts of damage to her common folk. They needed to act quick or else they be destroyed.
Yet, she waited. For what, she didn't know, but the others seemed to be handling themselves at the moment and Clarisse was tired. So tired that her vision began to dance; black spots crackled in her line of sight.
Don't pass out. For the love of the ancients, don't pass out. |
