Adrian "Ian" Salazar son of captain armando salazar
Ian nodded at Mair's suggestion. "Farris will be perfect. He knows the Isle really well." It helped that he trusted the other man to behave. He was a good lad, knew how to do his job well. Between Mair and Farris, they could tame Tana's more rowdy behavior. He usually didn't mind her acting out, in fact, he encouraged it when she first got over to the Isle. It had taken her awhile to understand that she could be herself around the Crew. Unfortunately, with the situation they were in now, Tana had to be reined in. She couldn't just stand around, waiting to bite one of the old kids from Auradon. Even if they were rude and snotty kids, which was more likely than not. "Still, though, be careful, alright? The Crew can't have any of you out of commission."
In reality, it was Ian who couldn't handle any of them being at risk. Just the thought of Tana getting hurt, or Farris getting in a fight, or Mair losing his hyperactive energy hurt Ian's soul. Everyone in the crew was apart of his family, they were all his little siblings and he would end the world if it meant saving them. But Ian was the Captain of this ship, and he couldn't show weakness. Not even in front of them, and especially not in front of Mori.
Tana, in the meantime, looked offended. Ian had to laugh again, which just made the younger girl pout at him. "You two realize I'm right here? Like in front of you, listening to you?" If she was on Auradon, she would've been worried that she had been turned invisible. Her Uncle Kenai got turned into a bear by the Spirits, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch for them to turn her invisible or anything like that. "Like, don't ignore me. It's rude." She snapped her teeth at Mair, which made Ian grip her shoulder. She pouted again, but looked apologetic when she saw Ian's murderous expression. "Sorry, Mair," Tana was quiet when she said this, scared of her scolding.

Shawn "Cheri" De Vil daughter of cruella de vil and the sheriff of nottingham
Without hesitation, or really all thought at all, Cheri took her knife out of her back pocket. She kept her expression blank as she unsealthed her knife, but maintained eye contact with Charlotte. The point of this was to freak out her little sister, and prove her point. So, without looking or even flinching, Cheri flicked her wrist and sent the knife into the space between her feet on the stairwell. That's when her blank face broke with a small, self-satisfied smirk. "There. Now we'll see what happens."
Since her dramatic event was over, she sat back down and crossed her legs, carefully avoiding the knife protruding from the floor. "How much are we betting?" Cheri was absolutely certain that Collie wouldn't notice. This would be an easy way to teach the girls what she already knew: Something was wrong with Collie, and she wasn't being herself anymore. If this is the kind of thing Cheri had to do to get them to see that their oldest sister needed help, then it was a sacrifice she would make.
It's not that Cheri wanted to play the bad guy, or even upset her triplets. No, as the middle child—a role she shared with Chester—it was her duty to protect her younger sisters. Even if that meant hurting them. Learning the lesson like this, over something pointless, would be a good wake up call. Cheri couldn't handle hearing Charlotte's wolf howl go unanswered. It would break her heart if Collie didn't respond. Knowing to expect it before that happened would be better, and hurt less.

Red
[adopted] daughter of the of Stabbington brothers
The girl nodded along silently as Collie gave out orders. She wasn't exactly keen to run out and make friends with the newcomers, but everyone offered up good points - they needed to gather information first, figure out what was going on, and try to manipulate the situation into their favor. There was a time to think and a time to act, and sometimes the lines were a little gray for the youngest member of the Stabbington brood.
"Welcoming committee - got it." Agreed the redhead, plastering on a sickly sweet smile that could almost fool one into believing that she was less than she seemed; well, at least someone who didn't know her.
It wasn't that Red was particularly cruel or even unkind really; she was just sort of...unapproachable? Off-putting, maybe. Intimidating. Kind of a loner, which was ironic considering the fact that she had made her way in the world through her people skills. She purposefully put herself on a separate level from everyone else. Not above, not below - just sort of a league all her own. She didn't really have friends. She had allies, she had employees, but friends? Nah, not many people wanted to hang around a thief. Sweet words and half-truths were the name of the game. When she wanted something, she took it - that was what made her the best in her line of business.
"I'll send some people over before the dinner." Red told Montana, making a mental note to divvy up her manpower. Now that he mentioned it, it probably would be best to have a little bit of backup at the dinner. She could send a few of her best over early, have them scout the place and get comfortable with the ins and outs. Make themselves busy not only with helping set up, but with blending in and looking less like security detail and more like guests. They didn't want to scare these kids off before they even walked through the front door. "It'll be totally discrete - just let me know what you need and how you want me to get it done."

Catrinetta Sandrine de Vil
daughter of cruella de vil and sheriff of nottingham It turned into a bet. A bet on whether or not their oldest sister noticed a knife in the stairwell. It wasn't exactly the sort of bet Catlee was used to. Normally she didn't bet a whole bunch anyway, only with herself. And that was a matter of seeing how much her little babies improved on the obstacle course. She had been trying to get an accurate reading on fastest now that the former faster was gone. But the thing was, she didn't know what to bet on actual situations with actual betting items. Catlee didn't have very many cool things anyway and she was never going to bet any of her fuzzy (or scaley) children on a thing like this. Oh!! She had an idea! "I can bet?? Some snail shells I found near that one really wet building! Y'know the one, right?" She had 8 of them with no snails in it. Of course, she absolutely wondered where they went. It wasn't normal for the snails to be missing from their shells in a comfy snail area. If Catlee had to bet... She'd say that it was the one weird feral girl that seemed to have a gross obsession with bugs. She didn't normally talk to her since the girl didn't talk a whole bunch to begin with but man... It was nasty when she tried to offer Catlee a grasshopper to eat. Not a fan, not a fan at all.

Komboa Tabari Adebayo Son of Kion & Rani
So at least Eddie knew something, even if it was more about London than the Isle. Still it was something and nobody else had much to offer information wise. Komboa kept his mouth shut, listening to Eddie talk.
When the boy offered to come with him, Komboa smiled a bit - the first bit of a smile since they had left Auradon. Eddie was a good guy. Someone that would hopefully be able to take over the group if something happened to Komboa. He would try to avoid that, obviously, but if they ran into trouble he knew he would have to sacrifice himself. Isn't that what leaders did?
He then jumped slightly when he felt Maggie elbow him, but he relaxed when he realized it was just her. He gave another slight smile, this one directed at Maggie rather than Eddie. At least there seemed to be good people on this trip. He didn't really know Billy or Maggie or Eddie, but from what he had seen so far, Billy could handle being a leader. Maggie and Eddie seemed nice, though Komboa did want to get to know them both a bit more so he had a different way of describing them than just nice.
He pressed his hands against his cheeks and rested his elbows on the table in front of them, his focus now on Billy as she assigned the groups. Alicio and Akram? Komboa nodded. He could handle them too. Eddie, Alicio, and Akram. From what he knew about the boys, none of them really had a record of being someone difficult or aggressive. "I'm good with those groups," he said, clearing his throat and looking over at Maggie and then Eddie and then back to Billy. "When do we head out with our groups?"
And more importantly, would they have time to strategize before heading out? There was less strategy in house hunting, he supposed, but he still didn't want to lead Eddie, Alicio, and Akram all willy nilly on the Isle with no preparation. They at least needed a meeting point in case anyone got separated or they ran into some unwelcoming villains
That was another thing. "Billy, I think it would be a good idea to come up with some emergency plans before anyone gets too comfortable here. We don't know what we're up against, so we should have escape routes from wherever we live. There should be a meetup place. Somewhere the Isle kids wouldn't expect. I don't know. Just... stuff to be prepared with."

Fern Alana Facilier Daughter of Facilier and Ayizan
Fern was glad to see Tait. She knew that part of her job as a leader was dealing with some of the more difficult coven members, or people outside of the group that gave them trouble. She was fine with that. She could handle that. She didn't like to ask for help when it came to stuff like that. She was known to be a patient and fair leader. Her leadership was the softest out of the major gangs of the Isle, but she didn't see that as a weakness. No, she liked to see it more as a strength. Fighting would win battles, but it would also cause more hardship and pain on both sides.
Fern would fight if she needed to, and she had in the past. But she still believed that fair discussion was the best way of settling disputes. You may not get everything you want, but all you needed was enough to get by. She would rather be a little hungry than having to bury the coven members - which she saw as her children and best friends - because she had gotten them into a meaningless battle against the mafia or crew. And she would hate for Ian or Collie to have to do the same.
Tait, however, was someone that rarely brought Fern stress.
As a healer, Tait was someone that she trusted completely, and that she hoped would take care of the coven just as completely as she did. In fact, she knew that if she and Del both died in some crazy accident at the same time, it would likely be Tait or Mori that stepped up to take her place - at least temporarily. Besides Del, Tait and Mori knew the most about the coven and how it was run.
She didn't question Tait's somewhat odd greeting. The Isle was an odd place and "I'm glad you still have your voice" wasn't the weirdest thing she'd heard. She hugged Tait back without hesitation, listening closely to their response to her question. "Oh? What kind of thing?" she asked. Knowing the Isle, this thing could either be trash and just be a bit neat, or it could be something completely new to the Isle population. Maybe one of the Auradon kids would know what it was. "And me? I haven't been doing much today. I helped Ernie make friendship bracelets for a bit, but I was just holding him back. Making bracelets isn't something I do well," she said with a slight laugh.
Actually, she'd spent a lot of time stressing about the Auradon kids and trying to figure out the best way to handle it. She wanted to bring them all in and let them become friends of the coven, but she needed to investigate first. She didn't want to let harm come to her followers because she had been too hasty to let strangers in. But Tait didn't need to know about the stressing she'd been doing.

Mair Sanjaya Baron
Son of Matthews and Stalyan
If Mair was caught off guard, or even mildly off put by a literal bear snapping her jaws at him, he sure didn't show it. In fact, it seemed to be quite the opposite, with the son of the wizard just beaming merrily at his crewmate. "I believe I should be the sorry one here, Tana? After all, like you said. You aren't invisible." Quite the opposite, really, when Mair thought about it. There was nothing more visible than a bear girl threatening to bite your face off. That much was for sure. Unflappable as always, the Quartermaster continued on with the conversation, this time making a point to not ignore Tana. That was rather rude, and while he hadn't been making an attempt to exclude her before, he paid a little more attention to the implication.
"Right!" The apparently magical pirate clapped his hands lightly, changing the subject back to their mission at hand. "Tana, you and I gotta find Farris, and then we need to track down some lost little transfers. Not die doing it, and not kill them either." Mair's dark brown eyes flashed in the direction of his captain, then. "Am I forgetting anything, Cap?" He knew he wasn't -- he didn't forget anything (some strategic ignoring was sometimes in order) ever -- but this would be a good time for their captain to add in any additional instructions. "Should we be low-key about this, or should I strike up a band and bring them a fruit basket?" It was a real, solid question, buried under more jokes. How overt should they be about this? "Just in the neighborhood"? Or straight to the point?

Charlotte Saoirse de Vil
daughter of Cruella de Vil and the Sheriff of Nottingham
Cheri may have been making an attempt to freak her out, but Charlotte boldly stared her sister down throughout her whole episode with the knife. If there were two people Charlotte wasn't afraid of, it was obviously her sisters. So instead, the little wolf girl held Cheri's eye contact. not flinching when the knife sunk into the staircase. Something may have been wrong with Collie -- Charlotte wasn't an idiot, something had changed with their oldest sister -- but she hadn't changed so much that she wouldn't notice a knife sticking up from the floor. She was jumpy, not blind.
"I'll bet three shiny buttons I found at the docks last week." She was proud of these buttons. Had stolen them from a goblin, and then evaded capture for hours afterward, until the thug had angrily given up and gone home. "On Collie noticing the knife in the floor. What're you voting on, Catlee?" Her sister had offered a bet, but hadn't specified on what, really. "...and what're you betting, Cheri?" She knew her other sister was betting against her, but she had no idea what she was going to win when she very obviously won. There was no way anyone could just traipse by a knife in the floor and not question it or even notice it at all. It was literally impossible. They'd be lucky if Cruella didn't notice first, or one of their dads, or Clara or Chester. There were a lot of people that could notice this knife first, before Collie even got home.
"Maybe we should...stay with the knife. Make sure no one picks it up or anything before she gets home."

Tait Uli Hightopp
child of the mad hatter and ursula Tait cheerfully rummaged through the pocket they believed they placed the little gadget... Wrong one, it turned out, seeing as they had to switch to the other side in order to find it. They pulled it out, proud and cheerful to show Fern their new little... friend? Could they call it a friend? Was it a pet? Tait had heard vague tellings of people able to come out of technology and games... perhaps the little creature was like them? Though, they were unaware if they came to the Isle stuck in the device and were unable to get out due to an association of magic and technology... Was there an association there? Tait was unsure. Which wasn't yet the point either! The goal here was to show their friend their other newfound friend. "Rivulet seemed to like the little thing, but he kept covering the entire thing. I can't imagine the little guy must have enjoyed being covered by a large paw after all," Tait explained pulling it out and cupping it in their hands to show off the being. He petted the device realizing that they didn't know the creature's name. It didn't seem like it could tell them as of yet, but Tait also hadn't had it in their possession very long. They'd attempt to give it a temporary name, however it didn't feel right if it wasn't the proper name they wanted to be addressed as. They'd save that discussion with the creature later, however unfortunate they couldn't introduce them properly to Fern. Still, they cupped it in their palms and placed the creature back in the pocket they found it in, less likely to forget this time. Tait went on the wonder on what Fern said... Friendship bracelets? For whom would friendship bracelets need to be made? Did Ernie find a new group of friends that needed them? Was there someone they missed that didn't get them... Oh. Obviously! Tait was a little slow about these matters. They nodded along to Fern with a grin on their face as they realized what Fern was talking about, "Ah! That sounds like fun. I mean, I don't know how you're going to get the bracelets on the beluga whales but... it's nice to be friends with them! Right?"Of which... did beluga whales even visit the Isle?

Francesca Pip Fox Daughter of Finnick & Pamela
So it looked the the dinner party was the way they were going. Pip... wasn't sure how to feel about it. Part of her wanted March right up to the transfers and get a fight going. These brats had probably been spoiled their entire lives and she didn't want them wandering around here thinking they were better than the Isle kids.
At the same time, she knew that they could GAIN something from the transfers if they didn't fight. She didn't care about making new friends - and didn't think she'd want to be friends with these kids anyway. But would a small alliance with the transfers couldn't be the worst option, could it?
She nodded at Collie's instruction. She could take a small group of her best and maybe rough someone up to prove a point to the adults. The transfers were under her protection now, and she refused to be the one that messed things up for the mafia.
Pip noticed the way Montana's eyes narrowed when she spoke, but she didn't comment on it. Sure, she didn't want to hurt Montana, but they had bigger issues than her apologizing for whatever she said right now. She'd make it up to him later - punch someone of his choosing. Yeah, that was a good way to apologize to someone.
Just walk over like 'hey who do you not like?'
And then they reply. They share the name of someone that bothers them.
Then she punches them and whoever she's apologizing to would forgive her.
Well, it looked like everyone had their positions figured out. She watched Red as the other girl confirmed she'd send some of her people over. Pip liked Red - a respect for the girl that seemed to be a bit like her. And then Montana was just a good boy to balance out Red and Pip.
Pip turned her attention towards Collie. "We all good with how we're going to approach this? Do you want me to send any of my people along with the transfers as muscle? Or just focus on getting the adults to keep their distance?" she asked the leader. She was already mentally going through who she had and where she could put them and what she could do with them.
Her people were strong. She wouldn't accept anything less than strong - both physically and mentally. She was proud of them, and would do anything for them. Pip wasn't the type that you would expect to be caring and compassionate, but she was ready to attack anyone that even dared to go after one of her people. Montana, Red, Isabeau, and Collie were part of that too. She would do anything for them.

Cyrus Dev McCoy Son of Cash & Dixie
Cy is want doing much. He was never doing much that was important. As always, he was just being a dumb little boy. Today, it was being out where nobody could see him and practicing his fighting against a tree. "HAHA!" he shouted as he aimed a punch at the tree branch. His hand was bleeding a bit from the rough tree bark, but he wasn't actually injured.
That was good, but not surprising. Cy liked to think he was practically indestructible. Sure, he got hurt sometimes, but whenever he did get hurt, it was something serious. He never got little baby injuries that didn't bother him. He was as indestructible as a malnourished villain kid could be.
He had just been heading back into town, when he heard a familiar voice calling his name. He was partially hidden in the shadows still, but he stepped out more into the light when he saw her. "Hey, Aria," he said. The young goddess was one of his best friends, and he certainly appreciated that. She was cool, and people didn't want to mess with her.
"So what's up? Lookin' for a little fun? I'm proud to say I'm the, ah, most fun dude on the Isle," he said. He smirked and nudged her with his elbow, digging his hands into his pockets.

Isabeau Venetia de Vil
daughter of ivy de vil and varian This was certainly an example of the mafia intermixing from their sectioned out groups. Really, the only thing missing was some of Red's racket and some of Pip's racket working together in some way. She supposed the important part was they were all working together in the area that needed it the most- not to say that Montana's racket needed help... rather, they had the largest plate on their hands. Figuratively and literally. She was concerned about the need to shut down buildings, but as she thought about it, it was likely to be unavoidable one way or another. Even if they prolonged it another day or two, the food that needed to be made was still going to take the same time and all it would do is shut down places a little later than they would currently. Of course, it was less time to plan what they needed... And they didn't know if it was needed or if this group of Auradon kids weren't anything special... It wasn't fun to think about what they didn't have a base information about in the first place. Not to mention Isabeau was... honestly lacking in contribution to this project. Was project an appropriate term for a planning a dinner party with complete strangers? Enough so, she'd still use it. Whereas Red was, as she eloquently put it, the welcoming committee. She was the one actually going to get the information they were currently lacking, as well as gonna get some of her people into security for the dinner. Then Pip was doing damage control of sorts... pre-damage control. Damage prevention control. Keeping any of these kids from being.... she didn't know if there was a nice term for being murdered by bitter, vengeful people. And here Pip was, going to prevent any premature murders. And Isabeau was... doing something. She was likely going to more active during the dinner and currently just overseeing that some things were going along as they should. It just wasn't anything actively towards helping this go along smoothly and here she was being one of the people advocating for the non-violent route of it all. It was a bad thought, but at least with the violent route she could stay out of the actual business and not feel bad about that. Yet, she just nodded along to the conversation in a non-verbal agreement. She didn't have much to add anyway seeing as things fit together well enough anyway.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil
daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
At Pip's question, Collie focused back on what needed to be done. Did the transfers need extra muscle? What had they come here with? Were there any risks that could rise up from this? Well, any more than the bright red flags that were already waving left and right. Were the transfers armed? It'd be stupid to send a bunch of high school kids -- she assumed, at least -- to the Isle without any means of actually protecting themselves. Granted, Collie didn't have the highest opinion of the intelligence shown by anyone across the sea, but this seemed a bit thick, even for the blonde's frighteningly low standards. What if they thought that a constant armed guard was a threat? What if they were armed and they attacked Pip's squad? They were a bunch of high schoolers, but that wasn't really a reassurance. Collie had the proof of what Auradon could turn against the Isle on her at that very minute, and who knew if it could get worse? It probably could get a lot worse. The gun was something they threw away, obsolete, worthless. Was that because it had been broken, or something worse?
"Don't let them know!" Her words came out more sharply than she intended, and relaxing the grip she'd tightened around one of the arms of her chair, she tried again. "They could think a bunch of armed, scary strangers offering to protect them was a threat -- especially if they catch wind of what goes on here. They're probably already suspicious of us, don't give them reason to feel threatened further." Please. God, because the last thing any of them needed was a dangerous -- and possibly lethal -- stand down with their "guests". "We don't know what they could do, or how it would affect us and our plans, if they feel like they're at risk. Just keep the adults off them, Pip, and watch them. Quietly." Clearing her throat, the mob boss turned to the next matter of business at hand, trying to drive thoughts of riots and weapons they didn't even know about from her mind. She could run a risk analysis of the situation when they knew more about them. No sense panicking now, or getting the others in a panic.
"So that's the plan. I'd like to stress, once again, that keeping this under wraps for right now is our main goal, until we have a better handle on the situation." No need to run out and shout their intentions to the world...especially the people they were trying to get information from. "Isabeau, I suggest we have a small talk with Fern and Ian -- make sure we're all on the same page." It would probably be a while before a transfer ran into someone from the Outlands. It would be much more likely to have an encounter with a witch or a pirate, and Collie had no idea what either of them were planning.
Okay, so maybe that wasn't entirely true. Fern was a no-brainer: she'd welcome the transfers warmly, with open arms, and be friends with them within the week. The coven leader was mildly predictable, but that wasn't a bad thing. She'd tell the coven to extend the same warm welcome to the transfers, so that was somewhat relieving. She could trust that a witch wouldn't try to beat the mickey out of some random transfer just for looking at them wrong. Even still, Collie would prefer to talk to her, friend to friend. Just to sort of...see what she even thought about this situation.
Ian was more of the wild card here. The captain wasn't an idiot by any stretch of the imagination. But he didn't particularly hold any love for Auradon, either. Collie could relate to that, but she would rather not relate to that while they were further starving to death because some fat bastard in Auradon decided they weren't worth the food because their precious darling got eaten by a kakamora on the docks after a prank from the more rambunctious crew.
Could a kakamora eat a person?
Now wasn't the time to ponder on the gastrointestinal capabilities of a coconut man, though. There was work to do.
Collie gave a tight smile -- more of a grimace, really. She wasn't in a smiley mood now, and hadn't been in a while. She was a little out of practice.
"Let's give our new friends a warm welcome then, shall we?"

Shawn "Cheri" De Vil daughter of cruella de vil and the sheriff of nottingham
From her spot on the stairs, Cheri did her best to hide her disappointment. She had not, in fact, intimidated either of her sisters, which had been the absolute goal of her little act. Not even Catlee had flinched, and that meant that Cheri hadn't been scary at all. Apparently she needed to work on her intimidation skills. What would Red say if her best knife girl couldn't scare her own sister? Cheri didn't want to lose her title as best knife girl. Then again, she had given herself that title. No one could take it from her.
Cheri thought over the offers, trying to see what she owned over similar value. She couldn't just bet one of her knives, not that her younger sisters would want that anyways. "The two glass bottles of mysterious liquids I stole from one of the Grimhilde kids three weeks ago." They were dark red in color with what looked to be glitter inside, and currently hidden in her sock drawer. She loved them, even if she didn't know what they were used for. It's not as if the Grimhilde boy had noticed, and all he did was bake pie, so she doubt they were very dangerous. They were pretty, though, like Charlotte's buttons and Catlee's shells.
"Obviously, my bet goes towards Collie not noticing." She frowned for a second then added, "Only Collie, though, the others noticing doesn't count." Chester would definitely notice, and probably could recognize her knife. She was lucky none of the parents were home, or at least not paying attention. She didn't want to make any of the parents angry, that would absolutely ruin everyone's day. "I'll sit right here, that way no one will take it." It was more than likely their siblings would just think she was being destructive again and leave her alone.

Edmund "Eddie" Radcliffe son of anita radcliffe and roger radcliffe
Eddie relaxed when he heard Maggie say Raf's name. His best friend was not a fighter, quite the opposite, really, but Raf could handle himself in a pinch. Plus, getting hit with a large guitar and a heavy swing hurt. He had been hit enough to know first hand the kind of pain it brought.
At Billy's words, he sunk further into his chair. She was smart and secure, that's why she was the leader. It helped that her mom was Queen, but it was in no way the only reason she was in her role. It helped that their little council was well flushed out with diverse people. Everyone in the room had a very different personality and experiences. Actually, he was the only one not related to royalty in the room. If he hadn't been raised on Auradon, it would be weird. Half the time, everyone he was around was related to royalty.
He frowned at Billy's words, wanting her to take someone else. "Are you sure? Maggie, can you spare anyone to help with Billy? Just to even out the teams a little?" He looked to the Irish girl, his frown setting in further. He didn't like Billy going off with only two others, but Komboa and himself only had two others as well. Maggie had a big task, though. Eddie just didn't like the idea of two adults against three kids, especially with it involving Scar. Although, honestly, he didn't see how Scar had really any power in this place.
When Komboa spoke up, Eddie made sure to listen thoroughly. It was a good idea, but even after his little adventure though the area, he wasn't sure where a good meet up place would be. This Isle was small, and it was likely that these kids who grew up here knew every nook and cranny of the place.

ARIA ISMINI OLYMPIA daughter of persephone and hades
Aria wasn't scared when she saw her friend come out of the shadows. She lived with the God of the Underworld. If she had been scared by this, she needed to rethink her living situation. Her dad was probably the Champion Shadow-Lurker. She should make him a mug with the title, he would get a kick out of it. Out of anyone, her dad had perfected shadow-lurking. It was just a fact.
When she realized how off topic she had gotten, Aria focused back in on the person in front of her, "Cy!" She repeated herself for the nth time that day, but this time it was a happy yell, which was very different. She gave him a quick hug and then hit his shoulder, "I've been looking for you forever!" Really, it had been half an hour at most, but that was still a long time for a small place like this.
"Where have you been?" She pouted, pretending to be quite upset with the boy. "Off having adventures without you? I'm hurt." In actuality, she was fine, but she really didn't like being left out of things. He had come out of the shadows, which mean he was definitely out doing something fun. She didn't comment on his self-given title, because it wasn't as if she disagreed. Cy was one of her best friends, after all. She wasn't about to be friends with boring people. All in all, Aria thought herself to be a pretty interesting person, and not just because of her parents either.

Catrinetta Sandrine de Vil
daughter of cruella de vil and sheriff of nottingham "She's going to notice," Catlee firmly stated. She had absolute faith that Collie would notice that, bets aside. And it was much easier to state her belief when she wasn't alone in it... though it was unfortunate this had to be bet on in the first place. She hoped that Collie really would notice the knife and that Cheri would be able to have more faith in their older sister. Still, the other things being betted were nice little icings on the cake. Even in the case that the side with the majority won and would need to split the single thing betted on the other side... Well, it was two bottles so?? Things would probably be fineeeeeee. The true prize was winning. She supposed. It seemed like a silly way to think to Catlee all in all. Betting was weird. She nodded on the extra addition and clarification. "Right, yes. Only Collie counts in this case... we just need to keep an eye out and make sure none of the others specifically tell her about the knife... as that shouldn't count either... right?" It seemed like cheating in that case since anyone that was told there was a thing would then notice the thing... "Also is there a time duration on this? Like how long does she have to see there is a knife? Is it just the first time she walks through the door?" It should probably be that case unless they wanted to account for any current emotional distress. Who knew what was going on in the meeting she was having- something awful could happen and then she could walk through the doors and not notice anything because she's focused on fixing a situation like a normal person would! Catlee was probably overthinking the matter.

Margaret "Maggie" Gordonia DunBroch
daughter of Merida and MacGuffin
Could she spare anyone? Did she have anyone on her team that could actually be helpful in confronting a cranky old lion in his den? That wasn't a dig at her teammates, she was sure they were all fairly capable in their own ways. But her choices for talking peacefully with, and if that failed then wrestling with, a lion were pretty bleak. The Scottish princess ran over the names in her head, and what she knew about each of them: Mac might not be a bad choice to send, but he also kind of looked like the sort of guy that would apologize to a ladybug if he stepped on it. Hana was probably a little meaner and able to stand up for herself, but Maggie was also pretty sure that she could use the Hamada girl as an arm rest, which didn't inspire confidence. She didn't know much about Silver, and while he looked like he could be capable, Maggie didn't particularly want to leave that up to chance. He was better off staying on her team, so she could actually get a closer look at what he was like.
That left Raf.
That didn't make Maggie feel particularly confident, to be fair, but he seemed like the most reasonable choice out of what she could offer, here. He could throw a punch when he needed to, she knew. And if he didn't need to, he was pretty good at talking, and could maybe help smooth things over. Maybe. "You're righ', Eddie." She conceded, nodding toward the Radcliffe boy, before turning to the other princess. "How does Raf suit you, Billy? He seems like the best choice for that sort'a thing, thinking about it." The best choice didn't mean unconditional confidence, but this was about as good as she could do for the moment. To be truthful, Maggie would feel a lot better if she could go with the party sent to speak to Yen Sid and Scar. If she could trust anyone being capable in the case of hostile confrontation, it was herself. She could smack the ugly old cat in the face if she needed to.
But she had other duties to attend to, and she recognized that.
After Billy gave her response, Maggie turned towards Komboa again, trying to make a conscious effort to hear the lion boy out more. "He brings up a real point here, guys. We migh' wanna look into that, yeah?" He wasn't wrong, and while Maggie wasn't the biggest fan of "escape plans" and "emergency evacuation", this situation sort of called for it. They were outnumbered with almost no escape on an island full of potentially hostile enemies.
She tried to push down the sense of dread in her stomach. Now wasn't the time or place for second guessing or doubts.
"Want my crew to look for one, or do you wanna go for that, Komboa?"

Bellamy Acadia Blanche Bete
daughter of belle and zuzo This is why Billy was glad they were having the meeting. It was important and covered topics that needed to be covered and discussed before they could go any further. In response to Komboa's question, Billy felt the answer well suited and obvious. "We'll head out once we have a plan figured out." Leaving anytime before that was asking for more trouble than it was worth. Figuring out group parties, the goals that occur in each section, and finding anything else that was important to their survival was priority. In which case, Komboa brought up a great point. The agreement of that point from Maggie helped solidate that. And while it was something that could be tackled once they had their living quarters situated out, this was also a good situation to search out the place without being too suspicious over it. Exploring the city after first landing made sense and scouting empty, unused buildings was validated. The idea there was who should be looking for it. While Komboa's group was looking specifically for empty buildings, Maggie's would be focused on exploring the Isle and thus had more of a free range option to explore. Billy had an idea though. "Maggie, while your group is out and about, be aware of any place well suited for meeting up or an escape. I want Komboa to prioritize living quarters first, but that shouldn't subtract from being aware of other options. Once he's found a place, I would prefer if the two of you joined groups again and could discretely discuss any option available. If returning to the living quarters for proper discretion is needed, halt on further exploring and go there to discuss. Have at least two transfers outside of the building so my group will be able to find them, and once we're as a group again, we can discuss the options more freely." After all, finding an escape from any present danger could only be done if everyone was aware of the place of escape. She hoped there would be agreement or perhaps better solutions to the idea in general. After all, this was a meeting where the best possible plan should be established, and if that meant combining ideas or ditching them for better cases, Billy was fine with that. Still the next idea appearing, a suggestion from Eddie, had her more unnerved. Wherein balanced group would... aesthetically make more sense, she had concerns that Maggie might need more people when it came to exploring. However, Billy could understand the need of more people for visiting Scar. A larger group showed that there was more people involved and put in mind that they shouldn't be attacked else someone would notice. However, Billy didn't want to risk more lives than necessary when it came to it. The fact she was bringing along Kassi and Ruffi as a start was nerve wracking in the case they were attacked. Genuinely, the only person Billy would even consider getting injured in some way was her herself- she wasn't willing to risk any other lives. Hell knows that the only people affected would probably be her siblings. Half-siblings. Out of the people Maggie offered, however, Raf was a reasonable option. When compared to Ruffi and Kassi at any rate. While Billy had nothing against them, which was to say she wasn't close enough to either to make any true judgements on character, they fell on a side of... small. Unintimidating. Not very frightening. Ruffi, for example, was a fairy. A fairy that, based on size alone, could be assumed to be a fairy. He was small, had an innocent, child-like face, and from what BIlly had seen... couldn't hold a straight face for a minute. This wasn't against him as a person, but he, off the bat, didn't strike anyone as frightening. After all, Billy was around half a foot taller than the kid. That wasn't a show of confidence right off the bat when she could see over his head. Meanwhile, Kassi wasn't much better. Albeit, she was taller than Ruffi (yet... another concerning thing to add to the list.), but it she was still short. She had a different set of problematic features when it came to being a fearsome force. That being, her lack of focus. Now, it wasn't intimidating, but it wasn't bad either. It made not be a focused look that could be helpful, but at least it was... neutral, for lack of better terms. Now Raf was different. He was the only person taller than her, standing at 6'0. He was the only one with height on his side to make an intimidating presence. His attitude was less preferable at any rate. However, given Billy was planning on doing most of the talking, it shouldn't be an issue in the first place. Much to say.... It would be smart to bring him along. While Billy liked to think of herself as intimidating on her own, she wasn't certain everyone might look at it like that. Overall, finally she nodded, "That might be the right idea. It doesn't hurt to have some extra backup I suppose."

Komboa Tabari Adebayo Son of Kion & Rani
Should they really be doing this?
Not the splitting into groups and planning out what they're going to do on the Isle. No, that was smart. He meant going to the Isle in the first place. Yes, if they could help the Isle kids, it would be worth it. But they were a group of kids that didn't have any power. Sure, some were related to royalty. Billy and Alicio were the children of the king of Auradon. Maggie was the princess of Scotland. Even he was the prince of the Tree of Life, ready to take over the moment he had the chance. But did they have the power to help the kids that needed it?
And he wanted to learn to be a leader. That was pretty much the reason he had originally applied to come to the Isle. He needed to grow up if he was going to follow in his parents footsteps. He wanted to. Kagi and Kandoro could do the whole leader thing, so Komboa knew he could too. He just needed... to figure out how to actually be decent at stuff.
Still, he wondered if this was the right choice. Would they be able to help anyone? And what if there was trouble? The groups were so small. Billy was facing a most likely angry lion with just a couple kids behind her. Kassi and Ruffi weren't exactly scary either. Then him and Maggie had small groups as well, and they would be wandering the Isle. Who knew who they'd run into? Their ship was noticeable, and he had no doubt it would attract the attention of the locals. These kids probably knew how to fight. Komboa knew how to fight - both as a lion and a human. Maggie looked like she could handle a battle, but what about billy and Eddie? He didn't know enough about the group to know who could handle it and who couldn't.
He froze slightly, pulling himself out of his worried thoughts when he heard Maggie say his name. Did he want to do that? Do what? He had missed most of the conversation as he reviewed his doubts about their job on the Isle and the possibility of completing it. He stayed quiet, trying to appear as if he was considering Maggie's question rather than trying to figure out what she had said.
Lucky for him, Billy was speaking again and he turned his attention towards their leader. The escape plan. They liked his idea! He contained his excitement and just nodded simply. That would fall under Maggie's control and he was to focus on finding them a place to live. He could handle that. He relaxed more when Bill talked about Maggie and Komboa joining groups once he had secured a place to live for them.
That was a good idea. He was extremely relieved to have Eddie in his group, but having Maggie there would relax him even more. Hopefully he could step back just slightly and watch how she lead. Imitation was a good way to learn something, right? And if Maggie could confidently lead a group of kids around, then that was someone good enough to imitate. It was that whole confidence thing that he needed to work on.
"So should we head out then?" he asked, looking between Maggie and Billy. He didn't want to rush anything or leave before every possible scenario was taken care of, but just sitting here with the other leaders of the group seemed to make him more nervous about when they step off the ship for the first time.

Fern Alana Facilier Daughter of Facilier and Ayizan
Fern watched Tait dig through their pockets to show her something. She leaned in to inspect the... thing for a moment. She was quiet for a brief moment before tilting her head slightly in question and looking at Tait. "What... is it? Do you know?" she asked. She wasn't expecting Tait to know more than she did about things like this, but maybe it had come with a box or an instruction guide.
That was a slim chance, she knew. Nothing new ever came from Auradon and this had to be from Auradon. Unfortunately only new items came in boxes with instructions. Still, whatever it was, it was kinda cute. She was curious about the object, but she didn't make any move to take it from Tait, especially when the little device disappeared back into a pocket.
"Well it's certainly adorable," she said, taking her eyes off of the object when it disappeared. She turned her attention back to Tait, giving a warm smile. "It's nice to find a little treasure like that once in a while." Everything on the Isle was trash. Well, most things. So it was nice to find a little treasure and remember that there were decent things that they could get their hands on. Unfortunately, most of the nice little things stayed on Auradon. Which...
"Actually, Tait, there's some kids from Auradon. I don't know what they're here for or what they plan on doing, but I do want to greet them today. We can look around for Del and Mori, and the four of us could go welcome them? And then if they seem trustworthy enough, we could ask them about your little creature? If it's from Auradon, one of them has to know what it is." she suggested. She didn't want to ask them about it first thing. She wanted to greet them, feel them out and see if they were people that she could trust around her coven. She also wanted to make sure that she could trust them not to steal the little that her coven members possessed, such as Tait's little creature.
When Tait mentioned beluga whales, Fern gave a little laugh. It wasn't a mean laugh, but an amused one. "Not beluga whales, Tait, though they would certainly be fun guests to have on the Isle. Ernie is making friendship bracelets for the Auradon kids," she explained. Like her, Ernie wanted to be warm and welcoming and befriend their new guests. Unfortunately, Fern had an entire coven to worry about and she had to feel these new kids out before she allowed them near everyone. Ernie didn't have a group to watch out for, so she had no doubt that he would be one of the first ready to greet them and armed with friendship bracelets.

Cyrus Dev McCoy Son of Cash & Dixie
Cy spent a lot of time in the shadows. He was a dork, but that didn't mean he didn't like to appear as if he was tough. When people questioned his toughness, it usually ended in a fight. Cy was very good at picking fights with people that he had no business fighting. Sometimes he ended up victorious, and sometimes he ended up sulking for a few days because he had gotten his butt kicked by someone that he thought he should have been able to beat.
Aria was one of his friends, however. One of the few people rhat he didn't even try to act tough with anymore. Pip was another person. Homie too. He had no business trying to be tough around any of those girls because they knew him and they knew he needed to stop. "Probably not forever," he teased, nudging her. He knew she was exaggerating. "If it was forever, I'm pretty sure you'd be older than me by now."
As for the question about where he had been, Cy shrugged. "Nothing exciting. Just kinda... looking around," he said. He'd explored pretty much every inch of the Isle by this point, but that didn't mean that he didn't like to explore still. "Mostly just been bored though. What do you wanna do? I need some excitement right now."

Tait Uli Hightopp
child of the mad hatter and ursula Tait shook their head in back and forth motion. Like a horizontal line. They figured that was the difference between shaking your head versus nodding it. Nodding was in a vertical line. Which was a weird thought in the case one started associating horizontal lines with the word no… or just in general negativity. Talk about difficult to look at a sunset due to all the horizontal lines… Buildings though- did that mean buildings were a positive thing since they reached up vertically? They were left to assume so if the case they had discovered was true. But, none of this was why they were shaking their head, was it? No, it wasn’t. They were shaking their head because they didn’t know what their new little pet was. “I think it’s trapped in there, but I’m not really sure how to help. The plus side is it seems to be fine as long as I tap these little buttons on the device.” It seemed a little sad to be stuck somewhere with no true interactions with others in a little device that only provided base necessities that required someone on the outer world to provide. “But yes, I find it quite cute all in all. I can’t imagine why someone would send it off, it doesn’t seem to be that broken aside from some base scratches on it. It would be a shame if outer appearances was all it took to toss it away,” Tait continued. It took them a moment to process what Fern continued with. What a shame. Beluga whales needed more love as of now. Maybe Tait could go to Ernie and see if he was willing to work on some large friendship bracelets for beluga whales. But if that happened… would whale sharks get offended? No, no, that was absurd. Whale sharks were actually quite calm and relaxed. It might just be disappointing. No, the true creatures that would get offended were likely anemones. They stayed true the name and were enemies of all- Tait wouldn’t believe anything but that. Perhaps it still wasn’t what they should focus on. Fern was talking about… friendship bracelets…. Ernie? Obviously Ernie, it’s friendship bracelets… For kids…. Auradon! Wait, why would they be making friendship bracelets for Auradon? That was weird… something about getting Del and Mori in on it? Okay sure, why not… “Wait, is there Auradon kids coming to the Isle?” Oh, maybe Fern did say something about that. “Sure??” So, Tait didn’t know what exactly they agreed to do, but they’d probably discover as time went on.

Margaret "Maggie" Gordonia DunBroch
daughter of Merida and MacGuffin
When all was said and done, it was time to get to work.
Komboa had a point, there wasn't much more they could hash out -- well, there was, she supposed, but nothing more they could do without a little more information on the subjects at hand. They could meet back up tonight and go over what they figured out, the four of them. It was time to do some figuring out.
And that was all fine and well, for the DunBroch princess. Talking only did so much in a situation like this, and the ginger princess was a woman of action. There was a whole island to figure out the ups and downs of, and she thought she had the right people for the job.
Or at least...she hoped she had the right people for the job.
Honestly, Maggie knew...next to nothing about her party. Mac Charming was another royal heir, which meant nothing in regards to personality. There could be wonderful royalty and there could be...well, she'd try to wave judgement on the Bête family for right now -- there were two of them here now, so that wouldn't be her best move, running her yap, even if she was just thinking it. She'd been told before that she had very loud expressions, and didn't want to betray that now. Hana, again, was another question mark. One of those San Fransokyo tech wizards, it fascinated Maggie to see how much they could do without the use of magic. Granted, most of Auradon had reached a certain level of technological development with the absence of magic, but sorcery had never held the futuristic city back, and yet they were one of the closest to re-achieving some form of magic.
Silver, however, was a complete question mark. Family, origin, ability -- absolute mystery. She'd have to fix that at some point.
No better time than now, though.
Waving a farewell to Billy, Komboa, and Eddie, Maggie rejoined the other transfers in the larger part of the ship.
"Mac, Hana, Silver. C'mere, we got a mission tae do if you're up for it?"
Granted, "if you're up for it" was not exactly debatable in a situation like this.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil
daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
"Why are they here?!" As soon as Collie located her brother, she wasted absolutely no time trying to get his opinion on the situation. She didn't explain who "they" were, Cliff wasn't an idiot. Her twin already knew about the transfers -- she assumed, since everyone had heard about them by this point -- and trying to explain that she meant the transfers was just sort of...redundant right now.
And she didn't have time for redundancy.
Tapping her nails against the back of her other arm, arms crossed defensively, she tried staying quiet to hear what he had to say. Until that didn't work.
She had a lot to say and puzzle out.
"I mean, it's been twenty years! Twenty years without a word otherwise apart from "here, take our garbage!" and suddenly they want what to do with us, Cliff? I can't figure it for the life of me." This was...agitating, to be frank, and not much else had been on Collie's mind since the ship was seen crossing the barrier.

Komboa Tabari Adebayo Son of Kion & Rani
What did Komboa know about his group? Not much, to be honest. Eddie seemed like a pretty nice guy. He obviously had to have some kind of skills and decency to him if he was grouped in with the transfer leaders. Secretaries were important. Komboa wasn't quite sure what they did and he was... kinda afraid to ask at this point, but Eddie was very good at that job.
Well, he assumed Eddie was good at it. He hadn't caused any deaths so he had that going for him.
Alicio he knew even less about. He knew he was the son of Beast and Belle, but he wasn't going to be the next king. He had a twin. Aidan? Evan? No, Adrian. That was it.
Akram was a decent dude at least. A fellow Boy Scout friend, and someone that Komboa knew could handle stuff. He was interested in medicine, and that was probably a good person to have a long when exploring a prison island.
He had Akram and Eddie by his side, so he should be good. Hopefully Alicio wouldn't be difficult to handle.
Komboa watched Maggie go before standing up and looking over at Billy before turning to Eddie. "Ready to go? I'll go grab Alicio and Akram," he said. He almost asked if that was okay, but then remembered that he was supposed to be the leader, so he gave Eddie a nod and figured the other boy would finish up any business with Billy if he had some before meeting the rest of the group.
"Alicio? Akram? We've got a job to do!" he called out through the ship, hoping his desired transfers would hear.

Moriena “Mori” Blackbeard daughter of morgana and captain blackbeard
Sneaking away from the crew's ship, Mori made her way through the town. She knew the area like the back of her hand. Mori could lose anyone on these streets without even trying. As of now, though, she just stared straight as if there was murder on her mind and the people coming at her knew to get out of her way. It was nice, having multiple reasons for people to respect her. Not only on her family's reputation, or who she was friends with, but also for her own misdeeds.
It helped that even Hook was scared of her pyromaniac tricks.
Instead of just leaving without a word, she slid her way into her dad's workshop. He was obviously busy, but when she waved at him for attention, he took his helmet off to pay attention. That was why Mori loved her father more than anyone else on the stupid Isle. He was one of the good ones. She explained her plans quickly, not wanting to keep him from his job too long, and kissed his cheek as a goodbye.
Mori made her way into Buchannan easily. It helped that her father lived on the border of the two towns, but the Coven's headquarters was only two streets down. It's not like Fern was going to be there, but it was the first place she would look. Then again, that was kind of boring. She couldn't keep doing things just because she wanted to be lazy.
She wasn't crazy, though, so she still checked headquarters. It was basically in front of her, after all, "Fern!"

Akram Jian Agrabah
Son of Aladdin and Jasmine
"A job?"
Well that had come along pretty quickly. He'd been staring out of one of the ship's portholes, curious as to what sort of new place lay beyond the outside of their current sanctuary. Villains -- no, people -- bustled by like tiny ants on a mission, and Akram had found himself daydreaming because of this. Where were all these people going to? Leaving from? What kind of job did Komboa even have for them?
The prince turned a genial smile towards the lion, trying to put him at ease here. He was pretty familiar with the prince of the Tree of Life, and knew that he was...well...
...a teeny bit of a scaredy cat.
That wasn't meant as an insult, though! As...insulting as it came across. Komboa had many outstanding qualities, Akram was just aware that he could be a bit skittish in stressful situations, and his immediate response was to try to diffuse the stress before it got to his friend. "What kind of job do you have in store for us? Does it get us off the boat?" Maybe it was a bit stupid and naive to not particularly fear immersing themselves in the Isle. But it would be equally stupid to wait on the boat, too. They had a mission, and they would never get it done by waiting.

Edmund "Eddie" Radcliffe son of anita radcliffe and roger radcliffe
Eddie grimaced as he quickly finished the meeting notes. He had been brought along for the sole purpose of being these people's secretary. He was good at organization, and he liked having a record of what happened. Especially here, on the Isle. If not for the country, for his family. Fiona would steal his notes the second he got home, and then ask a million questions.
As he was packing up, he smudged the ink on the last half of the page, which just made him grumpier. He sighed as he tucked everything back in his backpack and followed Komboa's lead. He added a mental note to fix the paper later, maybe rewrite the whole thing. He still needed to figure out the formatting for the record anyways.
When he looked up to make sure he was still on Komboa's tail, he realized how much he had been left behind. He took a breath and then half-jogged to catch up with the younger boy. He clicked his tongue and the horde of dogs quickly followed. He was used to it, and hopefully the others would realize that he was never seen without his animals. He would have to leave some of them with the others, just in case it wasn't safe. He couldn't be on the look out for the others and also take care of his insane dogs.
"You get off the boat," Eddie confirmed with a loose smile. And here was some of the royalty he was used to. He had three years on the other boy scout, but Akram had a sister who grabbed a lot of attention. Even as an upperclassman, he knew of Aisha's politics quickly. After that, he had paid more attention to Akram. It was kind of hard not to, when the family was really entertaining.
