Moriena “Mori” Blackbeard daughter of morgana and captain blackbeard
Mori gave him a small, grateful smile. She couldn't stand there and not be affected by him. Griffin had a way about him that just made her happy. He was truly a good guy, and an even better friend than she could imagine. It's probably why she came here to find him instead of any of the other pirates. They were all her friends as well, but Griffin understood her and always knew what to say.
She let out a deep breathe, calming herself considerably. There was no reason to be so fussy anymore. Griffin had made her see the light, and she could fix the situation with Del later. For now, she was actually on the Crew's boat without any trouble—which tended to happen when someone like her stormed onto the boat in a fury.
"I know you do," She confirmed with a nod of her head. She moved over to the side of the boat, hopping up to sit on the railing. She knew she wasn't exactly supposed to be doing it, but she never cared too much about Ian's rules. No one had really stopped her, just a few warnings. Mori pretty much did whatever she wanted when it came to hanging out with the Crew. They trusted her, she trusted them.
With her spot on the ledge, she raised an eyebrow at Griffin, "So, what's up with you then?" She was already in the docks, might as well spend some time catching up. "Anything exciting happen yet?" The transfers from Auradon were interesting to say the least, but it was pretty boring compared to Isle Drama. She was, however, curious if they had made Ian lose his mind yet.

MONTANA LOVE SLIM son of katherine barlow and alameda slim
Montana nodded to Red, but wanted to find something for the girl to do. He smiled lightly and asked, "Would you mind doing security? Maybe not when they're entering, but I'd rather have some extra people around in case someone tries something." All the new transfers in one place was a pretty good way for them to get ambushed. As far as he was concerned, they didn't want that. If any of the gangs or parents found out and did something, it would mean disaster. "Even with Pip patrolling the city, I'd like someone around the restaurant as well." Never hurt to have a little stabbing power if he needed it.
At Pip's words, Montana's eyes narrowed. He wasn't going to speak out against her, since Pip could and would put him through a wall, but that didn't mean her words didn't make him angry. These Auradon kids hating his food would absolutely crush him. If she couldn't see that, she was blind. Big Fork meant everything to him. Hearing anyone trash it or his food was like someone ripping apart his soul. He put everything into the restaurant. Sometimes, he even ignored his garden for it, and asked Junior to take care of it. Not that he didn't trust Junior's skills on the farm. Montana just didn't like having to put the garden aside.
His anger dissipated with Isabeau's words, making him sit down at the very least. There wasn't anything he could do against Pip and being hateful towards her would just lead to problems. They didn't need any more issues arising, especially something like his pride. He'd just have to make the best dinner he'd ever made before in his life. Still, he didn't trust himself to reply to either of their words.
He snorted with Collie's comment. It's not like he was about to be outright rude to the new kids. They didn't know why the kids were around yet. Until then, Montana would refrain his judgement. If they were working for Beast, well, that would be a different story. As his leader continued, he nodded along with her calls. There was a reason he listened to her. She was probably one of the smartest people on the Isle, if not the smartest overall.
With the appearance of a date, Montana wanted to protest. He only had a day to work everything out? He only had a day to get all the ingredients and plan the whole meal? He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "If it's going to be a day, then the dancefloor and Handbasket are closing until this is over. I'll need everyone in the racket to help out, including my siblings and their employees." He didn't like it, shutting everything down, especially when it meant they were open to attack. Pip's people were needed to keep everyone in check, and he needed Red's people around the resturant in case of an emergency.
After hearing the date and making his thoughts known, Montana kind of ignored whatever else Collie said. He wasn't trying to be rude, but he needed to get through planning the dinner. He needed everything organized before coming to his siblings with the news.

Adrian "Ian" Salazar son of captain armando salazar
Even from his place behind doors in the navigation room, Ian could hear Mair's yelling. Ian laughed slightly when the boy got more and more dramatic as he called out for his captain. Said captain in question rolled up his maps, taking his sweet time to let Mair drop his search. Once everything was put away and the room was back to it's organized, default look, he decided to put a stop to Mair's fun.
Opening the door out to the deck, Ian raised an eyebrow and went to see what was happening down on the main deck. He saw Mori on the boat's railing and glared at the half-squid, but she didn't notice. Tana was out on the ratlines, climbing to get a better vantage point. Ian bit his tongue to avoid yelling at her. She was old enough now to take care of herself and make her own decisions. Even if they were stupid ones.
He just shook his head and turned his gaze to Mair. He cleared his throat and yelled, "Mair, lad, what the devil do you want?" It was easier to just be blunt about it. Mair was obviously in a good mood, so hopefully nothing was wrong. They were already dealing with enough between his idea for an alliance with the other gangs and the transfers officially coming over.
At his yelling, Tana fell. Of course she did. He flinched when she ended up a foot away from falling off the boat before catching herself. He shook his head at her and she just laughed before starting to climb again. No one else seemed to have noticed, since she barely made a sound while doing it. "You're going to be the death of me, kid." He muttered under his breath before giving his attention back to Mair.

ARIA ISMINI OLYMPIA daughter of persephone and hades
Aria stretched as she roamed the streets of Southwark. She wasn't particularly scared, most people in the area knew not to mess with a Mafia member. Even if they wanted to, they were too scared of her father for it to make much of a difference. The perk of being the heir to the Underworld, she guessed. For now, she just had to figure out where Cy ran off to.
He wouldn't have gone as far as the Ranch, she knew that. Not many went that far into their territory unless they wanted food. Montana always gave free food out at Big Fork, so it was unlikely that Cy would've traveled further than the restaurant.
"McCoy!" She yelled as she made her way through the streets. She peered into the candy shop, but didn't see anyone but the Fae kid. When she moved to Shan Yu's place, she ended up running out before she got another dumpling thrown at her.
Occasionally, Aria would move out of the way of empty space, making sure to smile politely as she did. On the Isle, she was never sure if what she was feeling was there or not, but she would rather respect the dead than walk right through them. It's why she got so many of them to talk with her.
Luckily, people were used to the strange behavior and followed her lead. Aria shook her head, frowning. She was letting everything around her distract her. She needed to find her friend. They had plans. Or, at least, she decided that they had plans. "Cy!" She called again, louder this time.

Eberhard Hassel Grimhilde
son of the evil queen and the huntsman Much to say, looking back on the conversation, Ebby hadn't expected to be consulted about cowboys for any situation ever. Then again, he hadn't expected anyone to call Del a yeehaw... Which begged the question... did Mori know enough of cowboys to be calling people yeehaws? He'd be deeply surprised since she hadn't seemed like the type to show interest in the yeehaw culture... He needed to remind himself to eventually ask her about how much she knew about it. And on the topic of Mori again, Ebby had to consider. Was calling someone a squid when they were.... technically part squid offensive? Well. He needed to find this in terms he could relate to. He was... well he was just a human who could use magic since his parents were just... a hunter and a witch? Though he supposed the witch was also a queen at a point in time? Which was something he supposed he could build off of more. Of course, she wasn't technically a queen anymore since her stepdaughter took over. In which... Ebby was fairly certain he only married into royalty in the first place. But in some stretch of a way it'd be like calling Ebby and Del prince and princess, huh? Which as Ebby thought about it.... was pretty stinking gross. Sure, there was probably some other 'princes' and 'princesses' on the Isle and stuff... Any Scar kids technically counted... Queen Narissa... there was probably others. But like.... Those titles were associated with Auradon and if any Isle kid caught another kid using those titles to refer to themselves.... they were probably gonners. They had their established leaders on the Isle and using words of royalty was like.... admitting Auradon was right- that it was right to have a couple people at the top and everyone else on the bottom... At least here, there was a longer flowing down from 'King and Queen' to 'subjects.' So he figured he found his answer. "I think.... you may have. Obviously it wasn't intended to hurt her badly, Del, but.... I think it may have hurt her and that's why she responded how she did... And I mean.... it's possible that you might have to apologize to her for it?".

Edelweiss "Del" Hilda Grimhilde
daughter of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman
"Couldn't that make things more awkward, though?" Del was not a coward, by any stretch of the imagination. And if you implied as much, you'd have a really bad time of it, as well. She did not go for that. It wasn't that she was scared of apologizing to Mori. It was just that she wasn't sure if it was entirely necessary or not, and that an apology would just make some kind of awkward scenario between them that she wouldn't be sure how to fix. So would it be better to just ride it out and hope for the best, or should she take Ebby's advice again. "I mean, if I need to apologize, I will, but I'm going to see how that actually goes, because sometimes apologies just...make things more awkward, you know?" Because she'd apologize, then Mori would be obligated to apologize, and then Del would have to tell her that it was okay and she didn't have to apologize, and that just created a vicious cycle of regret and forgiveness until they were so wrapped up in self-pity that they were an empty, soulless husk of themselves.
Okay, maybe that was a little...melodramatic. But her point was solid.
Sometimes it was better to just ignore problems until they went away. Especially something as stupid as this would probably seem in a while.

Griffin Percival LeGume
son of Gaston and Paulette
"Well," Griffin started, grinning and recounting the events of the morning. He didn't have to bring up the transfers, Mori would already know about them. She tended to know everything soon after it happened, after all. So he just started in on everything else. "Puck said his first word yesterday. Well...sort of. Is "bleck" a word?" The pirate boy thought bleck was a little closer to a sound than a word, but it was the first thing that'd come from his son that wasn't just some gurgling and laughing, so he thought it was pretty cool. "I found some passable bananas, and he didn't really like that so he "blecked" and yeeted them right in my face." He seemed more amused by this than annoyed. Honestly, despite no longer being with Pip, he loved his son more than pretty much anything, and jumped at the chance to show him off.
"...and then there's whatever the hell Mair's on about today." The pirate snorted, grinning and nodding off in the direction of one of their Quartermasters. He heard the guy yelling from across the boat, doing one of his dramatic productions of searching for Ian.

Mair Sanjaya Baron
Son of Matthews and Stalyan
"Aw, don't be like that, Cap." Mair put a hand to his chest, looking mildly (but dramatically) offended for a moment, before actually launching into business. Or "business", he supposed, since it was still unsure if there was actually anything to gain from the transfers. Could it be counted as business if they ended up getting paid? Was he doing a job? Or, since he wasn't getting paid, was he snooping as a hobby? Could you be a snooping hobbyist? Mair was gonna say yes on that one, obviously. Griffin frequently told him he needed to have a hobby beyond being a drama queen, apparently, like helping Ian run this whole dang crew wasn't hobby enough.
Or was that a job?
Whatever. He had other things to worry about at the moment. "So I was checking in with the goblins this morning. Grook was in a good mood today, whether that's because he scammed me out of ten bucks or not is irrelevant, but needless to say, he was happy. And he let a couple things slip." Did he miss his money? Yes. He was still pretty sure that Grook was counting cards in their game. Could goblins count? They were never taught any number systems in the language class, but obviously they had some way to do it. But if this was important information, then he could just let the money go. "He told me that, out of the transfers here, three of 'em are going to be spending time with our merry band of misfits. Three here, five over in Buchannan, and four over in Southwark." it was a weird division, and Mair wasn't sure why they didn't just take one of the Buchannan transfers and scoot 'em on over to Tortuga, but he supposed Big Ol' Beastly had his reasons. "The distribution don't make a lick'a sense to me, mate, but that's how things are, apparently."

Moriena “Mori” Blackbeard daughter of morgana and captain blackbeard
At the mention of the baby, Mori's eyes shot into hearts. Now, that's not exactly humanly possible, but it's what happened. Mori loved Puck, like a lot. She loved Fern's children too, but she wasn't just about to walk across the whole town to visit them. For Puck, she would yeet herself off the Isle if she had to.
Her smile raised to laughter as Griffin continued the story. She made a mental note not to ever bring Griffin a banana for the child. Or maybe she should be on the lookout for them? It would be pretty funny to just keep making the baby shove all his half-eaten food into Griffin's face. She could obviously try it with other fruits and alike, though. They did need to figure out what healthy things Puck did like. A growing baby needed their nutrients. Just the thought of malnourished Puck made her mood completely drop.
"I'm pretty sure bleck is actually a word." She frowned, trying to remember the meaning of it. Definitely something a baby wouldn't know, it's not as if Pip and Griffin were just teaching him every word in the dictionary. "If I remember correctly, it means a black substance. My dad always tells me to get that bleck off my face when I'm in the smithy."
Again, it's not as if they had taught their baby this word, but Mori was giving Puck the benefit of the doubt. She turned her attention to Mair and his screaming. She had heard his calls for Ian but generally ignored them. She was pleased to see Ian not giving her any attention. He wasn't going to yell at her for her spot on the railing then. With the mention of Goblins, she raised an eyebrow and tuned in. "We're getting five of those idiots?" She growled, looking to Mair, Ian and then Griffin.

Adrian "Ian" Salazar son of captain armando salazar
Ian rolled his eyes at Mair's antics, but continued to listen. No matter how flamboyantly he acted, Mair was a good kid. He did his job well, and that's why he was well trusted. "Off spying again, then." He nodded along with the story. Ian didn't particularly mind these actions, he just wish that Mair had checked to see who was around before spreading that knowledge everywhere. At least it was just Mori. She would take what she needed for the Coven and leave the rest alone.
"You really need to get better at cards and spotting thieves," He shook his head, looking at Tana to singel her help in teaching him. The bear girl knew exactly what he was thinking, so she gave her captain a thumbs up. At least, Ian hoped she knew what the look had meant. He didn't want to wake up one day with Mair screaming bloody murder because Tana decided to bite him.
The Captain shook his head, "No, I understand it. We have Tana already, and it's not like we're a big area to begin with." Most of Tortuga was beach-land, and even then, they were still quite small. He didn't like having any of these transfer students around, but, looking at Tana, he smiled. Maybe they wouldn't be too bad. It's not like their current misfit thrown to the Isle didn't fit in perfectly.
"I can work with that," He nodded and looked to Mori, who was still freaking out about the five new people in Buchannan. "Shush. Tell Fern when you get home." The girl didn't pay his words any mind though, still panicking to Griffin again. Ian sighed and looked towards Mair, "Thank you. You did well. Is there anything else?" He had to make sure before giving out orders.

son of the evil queen and the huntsman More awkward? Was that a thing that normally happened between people who apologized... was it supposed to be awkward? Cause Ebby hadn't experienced a point in time where an apology made things worse... Generally slapping a good, "I'm sorry," on the situation and getting one back with a handshake agreeing they were still friends was enough. Had Ebby just been doing apologies wrong this entire time or... Was this just a really weird thing girls did? He just sorta stared at Del trying to process the situation, genuinely unsure about what he had gotten himself into. He could only find himself to agree with her, unsure on how objecting whatever was going through her mind, "Sure... I guess?" How were you supposed to object to an idea when you didn't know how the idea formed. He didn't really agree, but there wasn't much he could say against it at any rate. He hoped it was just a really weird thing girls did.

Catrinetta Sandrine de Vil
daughter of cruella de vil and sheriff of nottingham Did zombies actually equate to magic though? Wasn't there normal, scientific ways of creating zombies? Like... Frankenstein's monster! Frankenstein's monster was a zombie, but magic wasn't involved there. Just.... science. Really ambiguous science.... but science nonetheless! Doctors created zombies all the time too! Well. Not all the time, but the idea was there. A person dies and comes back to life thanks to the doctor. Her point was, couldn't Cheri have been resurrected by a mad scientist with terrible parental ideals or a doctor could have broken in to resurrect her? Probably not. Not to mention how neither Frankenstein or a doctor created zombie really ate brains. Really the only way would be with countless diseases or... something similar. Like rabies. Which... she didn't think was common around these parts of the Isle. She didn't doubt that some people actually had rabies though. Like the animal people in the Outlands.... the Ferals. They were probably rabies infested. Oh no. What if one of the Ferals broke into their house and bit Cheri? Ignoring the fact that it probably took some time for the rabies to start to actually appear with the whole foaming of the mouth and extra aggression- but they were all half wolf. And Catlee wondered if that meant they were more likely prone to rabies. But... Cheri wasn't acting really aggressively yet. She was fairly calm in her response at any rate. And well, if whatever this accident was... Catlee wasn't sure on that yet... if it couldn't kill a bird or rat, then Cheri should be fine. After all, if a feral, rabies infected creature did attack her, then if it attacked one of the creatures mentioned... they'd likely end up dead. So it was bound to be okay to assume that Cheri was still human, rabies free. For now. So she nodded as assuredly as she could, saying, "You're right... it's unreasonable to think that.... I'm glad you're not a zombie, Cheri." Of course, she was a little less sure as their responses to her 'Collie' question were revealed. She didn't really like to think that Collie didn't care about them anymore... Maybe she wouldn't notice something small like this when she wasn't here to witness it... but Catlee wanted to be certain that if Collie were in the house, Collie would have come down to help Cheri. So she could only let out a tiny, "Oh, okay," in response to that.

Edelweiss "Del" Hilda Grimhilde
daughter of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman
Had this...never happened to Ebby?
Wow. That was...okay now that she thought about it a little, a lot of it made sense. Of course Ebby never had to deal with this. As far as she knew, no one ever tried to actively fight or argue with her twin, and if they did then he usually diffused the situation. So...yeah, that made sense. Ebby was a sweetheart that never really crossed anyone, and therefore if he apologized, then usually the wronged person would nore than likely just brush it off and tell him not to get too worked up about it.
That would explain him not getting it, because she figured it was pretty normal.
Instead, she shrugged it off and went back to the mission at hand. "So how should we even phrase this to Junior? Should we go up and just ask if I'm a yeehaw? Or ask him what makes a yeehaw?" This question was important, for research purposes. And Del didn't want to offend Yeehaw Prime and get no answer because then she'd never find out.

son of the evil queen and the huntsman "Maybe we can do both?" Ebby suggested. The more information the better after all... "Ask him what makes a yeehaw and from that, see how he judges on just go yeehaw you are?" Ebby figured it made sense to do something like that. Plus, they'd have information for yeehaw emergencies, which could occur... At any time, anywhere... You're strolling down the street. It's dark out and the moon is hidden by the smoke clouds in the sky. You think you should be alone until you realize... Someone's been following you this entire time! You don't have much time to react before they shout, "You are a yeehaw!" and disappear. You're left wondering now, am I a yeehaw? What counts as a yeehaw? You don't know? You start to cry. There is no saving you now. At least, that's how Ebby imagined yeehaw emergencies would go. Quick and sudden. It was a dark life to live.

Mair Sanjaya Baron
Son of Matthews and Stalyan
"I'm afraid I'm too honest and pure of soul to be able to beat one of those dirty cheaters at a card game," Mair halfway expected to be struck by lightning merely for saying that. "Alas, maybe one day." One could maybe argue that goblins might just...be very good at cards. Or Mair was horrible at cards. Mair himself liked the third answer: the goblins were dirty rotten cheaters and thieves.
"I am glad to see they haven't forgotten our beautiful bad news bear. Our brave biter of Belles, our belligerent braver of Beast's blustering bellow, our blessed barbarian of biblical bravado, our..." Mair stopped there, another grin lighting up his face. "Well, I am afraid I have run out of complimentary B words, Cap." What a bummer, really. Despite the ending of his newfound word game, he turned that cheeky smirk to Tana for a moment, waving at the bear girl from a distance.
When he turned back to Ian, his demeanor was...well, not more serious, but a little less flamboyant. "So why do you think these new merry misfits have washed up on our shore, Ian?" Despite all of his cheerful and vaguely idiotic rambling, and his theatrics, a sharp mind hid behind the idiocy. "There's too many of them, I think, to be a dump of delinquents, and besides, from what I've seen, the goblins are acting...funny. Like they know something, but won't tell me."

Edelweiss "Del" Hilda Grimhilde
daughter of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman
"Yeah, you're right. That makes sense." He brought up an incredibly good point. Which, to be fair, he'd been making perfect sense this entire conversation. It was one of the reasons she'd went immediately to her twin, besides the fact that he was just nice to talk to. Obviously, since they'd been close since the day they were born, it was easier to admit her cowboy fears to him than it would be to some other members of the coven. She was close to Hardy and Emmett, too, but like, Ebby was just really chill about everything. "We can ask him more than one question, it's not like he's some kind of mythical yeehaw genie that answers one question and -- poof -- gone forever." Honest to God, if Junior poofed into thin air after one question, Del would lose her mind.
Whenever she thought about genies, it was like...your standard genies. But the more she thought about it, the more unfair it seemed of an assumption. Genies were people. Figuratively speaking, at least. They could have hobbies and styles. It made sense to her. "Which, if the cowboy poofs into a cloud of smoke after we talk to him, I'm out." She would have seen everything she needed to see, and would just...be done with life.

Griffin Percival LeGume

"Huh, the more you know." Griffin had to admit that he didn't know a lot of large words. Well, he wasn't an idiot, or at least he didn't think so. He just wasn't good with words...or reading...But that was okay. Seventeen years on the Isle and not dying or getting gravely injured meant he was smart in the way that mattered. "I wonder where he picked up on it, though? He isn't around much smithing, y'know. Unless he's seeing them when he's with Pip." Which would make a lot of sense, and if that was the case, he'd probably need to thank her. He had no idea what a baby Puck's age would do in a smithy, but if it was expanding his horizons and teaching him stuff, then it was pretty chill. "Still wonder what bleck has to do with bananas, though. You know anything about that one, Mori?" She'd provided the context for bleck, so maybe she could provide some more answers for him.

I will not snort, I will not snort. Mair is a good, honest kid and I will not snort.
He snorted.
"Alright Mair," He would let the younger man have this. It wasn't as if Ian could just stand there and fight him on it. If anything, that would make his comments worse. Mair would believe whatever he wanted to, and that was that. Besides which, it was funny. So long as he could laugh, then it didn't really bug him.
When there was a large yelp above them and a crash into the railing, Ian turned to see Tana, almost falling off the boat. She wasn't going to, though, her foot was caught in the ratlines. It didn't look rather comfortable, but the bear girl was safe enough. From his place seventy yards away, he could still see her beat red face. She was embarrassed, to say the least. Ian could hear her groaning, half in pain and half in utter mortification. He had to take pity on her, otherwise he'd be scared that Mair wouldn't stop talking about the little event.
"Nonetheless, it was a rather impressive feat," He nodded, with a small smile. Mair was smart, there were lots of reasons he was made a Quartermaster of the boat. He didn't need to look over to Tana to know she waved back to Mair. She was allowed because she was polite, most of the time. Mostly when she wasn't trying to bite other people.
Ian looked out to the ocean, leaning over the railing, "Beast wants something. They're not going to tell us, but that's okay." He smirked lightly, since the Auradon King was obviously underestimating the Isle gangs. Then again, it was doubtful that the King even knew there were gains to be had. "Not today, but later, try to spy on the goblins again." He had to talk to Collie and Fern soon.

Mair Sanjaya Baron
Son of Matthews and Stalyan
"Aye aye, Cap." Mair's voice was solemn, but one look at his face revealed his stupid, tricky grin again and a salute to the pirate captain. If he noticed Tana's little fumble or not, he didn't mention it. He'd already embarrassed his crew member once, he wouldn't keep at it. That was rude, and his mother had raised him with manners. Most of the time. He was a pirate, after all.
"Haha, I wonder how the girls are reacting to this." Once again, despite his light tone and expression, it was something he was genuinely curious about. Fern would be the easier guess -- the shadow woman was a sweetheart, and even if her right hand woman would be a little more suspicious, Fern herself would welcome them with open arms. Collie, on the other hand... "de Vil is probably giving herself grey hairs over this, huh?" Where Fern would probably take this exuberantly in stride, the leader of the mafia was a bigger question mark. Less friendly, crazy like a damn fox with a plan constantly up her sleeves, and...off. really. He genuinely had no idea what she would throw into this situation, and he wondered if Ian did. Neither of them knew her that well (or Fern, for that matter, but from what Mair had seen she had a good, calm head on her), so it was hard to tell.

Ian straightened his back, turning his full body back to Mair. He shook his head, seeing the grin on the Quartermaster's face. Ian wasn't surprised at the reaction, but he wasn't going to comment on it. If Mair wanted to look like that, then Ian wasn't about to stop him. Even as Captain, there was no reason to hold back the boy's happiness.
"Contrary to Mori's reaction, Fern will be fine." Ian looked towards Buchannan with a slight grin. He couldn't see the city, not over Tortuga, unless he was up the main mast, looking out the Crow's Nest. "She's probably one of the best people on the Isle. Each of those kids are going to get warm hugs." Even from his spot so far away from Mori, he could see her freaking out. He laughed lightly, "And if they're bad at all, Mori will just burn their home." He made a mental note to tell Fern to keep Mori in check, because she looked a little too happy with that idea.
Southwark was too far to even see the buildings, but he knew it was there. "Collie has already held a meeting about this with the other higher ups in the Mafia. She's smart," Ian emphasised, thinking of the blonde. She would know exactly what to do in this situation, how to get to their plan without being obvious about it. "She already has a plan to figure out what they want from us. I might give her a day or two and see what she's found out."
He turned his gaze back to Mair, an idea beginning to form in his head. "We have that empty house, on the edge of the beach, right?" If the others were going to get on these new kids' good side, then he would need to as well. He already had a reputation for it, considering Tana's place in the Crew. It wasn't as suspicious as Collie, who was known to be unfriendly. "Get a group together, we're going to give them a home. Be sure to take Tana."

Moriena “Mori” Blackbeard daughter of morgana and captain blackbeard
Mori wasn't one to be judgemental over someone's education. She wasn't about to go into a whole dictionary lesson with Griffin. He was smart, in other ways. Griffin had many qualities, there was a reason she had a crush on him growing up. "Honestly, if my dad ever saw Puck around, he would've smudged him and then told the baby to get the bleck off his face." In truth, she might've done it as well. Just if Puck had something gross on his face, she would've said it. It was instinct, because of her dad. She did it to everyone. "Has he never done it to you? I try not to do it to others, but it still happens sometimes."
"Bananas brown, don't they?" Mori raised an eyebrow, thinking over the logic of why someone would say bleck to a banana without just meaning that it was gross. Which was the more likely case, that Puck just didn't like bananas and thought they were icky. Mori wasn't going to take this away from Griffin though. "Like, that's how I find most bananas, just almost black. One could say that the banana had blackened, although it would be more accurate to say they had browned. Which again, is a real word. Give Puck the benefit of the doubt though, considering that he's just a child."
It was a valid argument, since Puck would know the definition of brown as a color, not the verb to brown. Puck probably didn't know the difference between nouns and verbs yet, considering he couldn't talk yet. She peered at Griffin and was certain that Puck didn't know the difference between nouns and verbs, even though she knew nothing about the learning development of children.
She tuned into Ian's little speech and smiled at the idea of burning down the transfers. She wouldn't, especially not if she was following his logic correctly. She wasn't about to burn something that belonged to the Crew. The young calamari thot decided to ignore Ian henceforth, for prosperity's sake.

Mair Sanjaya Baron
Son of Matthews and Stalyan
Mair let out a snort at Ian's assessment of all three women, because honestly, where even was the lie. "Putting money down now, Fern's going to have all her transfers loving her in two weeks, tops." Despite the fact that trust was generally hard to come by on the Isle, and that it would go double for the Auradon kids, Fern seemed to have a general trustworthy air about her that made it hard to be suspicious of her. Especially when the Buchannan coven worked so hard to help keep everyone healthy, and that in itself had been Fern's idea. He would hardly be surprised if they were all holding hands and singing songs together by the end of the month -- was that what the coven kids did when they weren't healing the others? Mair didn't know. He was a rough, cool pirate, whose idea of bonding was drinking and horsing around. He could have been in the coven. His old man was a pretty powerful sorcerer. But how could you say no to boats and shiny swords? Obviously, you didn't.
"You think they can pull it off, though? "Subtlety" isn't exactly the mafia's specialty." Which, he supposed, was rich coming from a literal crew of pirates. But he wasn't wrong. The most "subtle" part of Southwark's business was their hospitality chain. It would be pretty interesting to see how the whole mafia tried to get the transfers plans from them, while skating over the fact that they beat up people and stole from people to make their money. Collie was a schemer, but there was a difference between kicking a villain's door in and gaining control that way, and gaining the trust of someone who was already coming in here warily.
"Which, any plans with these kids? I need to get orders out for the guys if you have 'em." Gaining a position of trust would be hard.

Adrian "Ian" Salazar son of captain armando salazar
"Give her more credit than that, there's no way it's going to take more than a week." Ian grinned at Tana, who was finally getting off the ratlines and walking over. It had taken him a lot longer to get her trust, but now he had it for life. She was apart of his family, they both knew that. "Fern will literally have them eating out of her hand if she wanted to." In the least manipulative way possible too. Out of anyone, Fern was the closest to them, personality wise. He had no idea how Mori convinced Fern to give her a leadership position, considering Mori's tendency for violence.
He nodded, ignoring Tana as she joined his side. "The Slim kids are literally made for hospitality. Plus, when Collie makes a plan, there's a decent chance that it will work." Collie did stupid things, sure, but it didn't affect her logic. Her emotions affected her logic and there was nothing to get emotional about within this context. They needed information, that was it.
Tana waved at Mair with a large smile, making Ian huff out a laugh. "Yeah, yeah. We're going to gain their trust. I can't have the only gang against these kids." Ian wasn't about to lay out the whole plan. Even though he trusted Mori, he didn't want competition with Fern more than he already did. He couldn't exactly say that he wanted to manipulate the hell out of these kids. It would go against Mori's morals, the few she had. There was no way she'd be okay with using people in the way he was thinking.
"Try to figure out who is coming to us, and tell them that any Crew member will show them around." Ian looked at Tana, who met his gaze with a smile, "Hopefully there's someone you know, so they trust us more." The girl just shrugged, moving to hop from one foot to the other. Ian could tell that she didn't want to do this, but he was left without a choice. "Make friends with them, if you can. Getting the information out of Collie is just a backup plan, I would rather get it from the source."

Eberhard Hassel Grimhilde
son of the evil queen and the huntsman The Yeehaw pantheon of gods, creatures, and the unknown seemed to be growing by the sentence. Which was remarkably odd since... from what Ebby knew, yeehaws didn't particularly follow any faith with any of these creatures anyway. If they did... Ebby imagined it had to be a well kept secret. Otherwise, surely, they would have heard something of it otherwise. Some people were very vocal about their religion after all, one that Ebby was somewhat familiar with in the first place. Which probably wasn't the point... Not everyone was loud about it anyway. Anyways, Ebby nodded in agreement. "I'm with you there. That would be way out of my comfort range anyhow." If anybody just disappeared in a poof of smoke in front of Ebby he might freak. Unless he supposed it was someone that made sense poofing in a cloud of smoke. Which was also no one on the Isle since he imagined that would relate to magic... Unless someone had smoke bombs?

Mair Sanjaya Baron

"I don't think they've gotten off the boat yet -- should I head a welcome party?" Friendly faces would probably help with that. The crew had the advantage of literally being on the shore. They could casually run into the transfers first, make a good impression, offer some help. Charm them. "They might appreciate a tour of Tortuga and we're the best guys for the job." After all, they lived here and unlike the adults, they weren't about to destroy the new kids. "Ain't even got to make it a big welcome wagon -- me and Tana could go and welcome them to the neighborhood." As curious as Mair was, the more he thought about it, the more he realized that a big group might seem intimidating and a little excessive. They needed to handle this carefully. He fancied himself as pretty personable, and Tana was a familiar face. "Maybe one more person, but not you. No offense meant, of course Cap. Might be a little soon to throw you at them." "Captain" was a big word to throw at these kids right from the start, and Ian, as much of a teddy bear as he was, could mean mug these little kids and terrify them. "Thoughts?" He couldn't control what the coven or mafia was going to do, but he could give his best shot to Ian and handle things on their end.

Edelweiss "Del" Hilda Grimhilde
daughter of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman
"Honest to God, if that happened, I don't even know how I'd react?" What even was the appropriate way to react to that? That wasn't something she could even guess at, really. She'd never seen something like that happen before, after all, so she couldn't even begin to figure that one. "I mean...do we just walk away from that? Or wait for him to come back?" For a completely irrelevant train of thought that had nothing to do with the mission at hand, Del was fascinated by it really.
Back on topic, though.
"Which, on topic: what do we do if another Slim's home and Junior isn't?" Did they stoop to the knowledge of a younger cowboy? Or did they go hunt him down. How did you play that off casually. "Sorry you're the wrong Slim, bye" seemed kind of rude, to her.

Adrian "Ian" Salazar son of captain armando salazar
"Yes, please. I don't think I give off the right welcoming image." Ian was bulky, only owned black clothing and generally gave off angry vibes. He had resting bastard face, which didn't help any. There was no reason for the kids to look at him and think safe. In all honesty, if they did have that reaction, Ian would be concerned for their safety. Auradon might be a generally better place to live, but he didn't believe that bad things never happened. Look at Tana. She didn't know any better than to reciprocate hate with more hate and violence. Especially not when she was younger. "No offense taken, Mair. I know I'm not the best suited for this task."
To the side of him, Tana shifted so that she could bump Ian's hip, "I don't know Captain, you did pretty well with inviting me in." Ian scoffed, but grinned with her compliment. When she smirked back up at him, he moved to put her in a soft headlock. Just to wipe the expression off her face. She was too confident and cackled at his actions. "Fine! Fine! You're fierce! You're the greatest Captain to ever live!" At her relenting, Ian let go and pushed her away. Tana was still laughing when she righted herself and looked towards Mair, "Can we swim to their boat and freak them out?"
"That is literally the opposite of what we're trying to do." Ian sighed, suddenly regretting his decision to allow her on the welcoming committee. Whenever he caught her eye, she had mischief running through her entire expression. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't trust her completely, Tana was known to be an impulsive person, to say the very least. "Please take someone else, one of you has to control her, and the other has to make sure the new kids know that we mean well." Which, they didn't exactly mean well, but it wasn't like they were going to know that.

Mair Sanjaya Baron
Son of Matthews and Stalyan
"Aye, got it." Ian didn't have to tell him twice. Tana was a good kid, but she was a little...rambunctious, to say the least. It would do them some good to have another kid around to reign her in a bit, especially since Ian wouldn't be around. "How about Farris, then?" He was pretty chill and mild-mannered, and one of the older kids in the crew. Vanessa could be another good option, but they were a little too mild-mannered, in case the Auradon kids came here with a challenge. Farris had a little bit of authority, but wouldn't be a jerk about it. So he seemed like the likely choice to go with he and Tana. "Might be good to have our good ol' records man out there with our first meeting of the transfers, yeah?" Mair also had to point out Farris's skill, that would be useful too. Farris had records of everything that happened on the Isle of the Lost, so he'd appreciate a chance to add to it.
Mair watched on the sidelines when it came to the two's antics. This was pretty standard for them, after all.

Charlotte Saoirse de Vil
daughter of Cruella de Vil and the Sheriff of Nottingham
"It'll be okay." Charlotte gave Catlee another pat on the head, since she didn't seem horribly convinced. Which, in Cheri's defense, it was just a tiny knife wound, now that she looked at it. Nothing a bandage and keeping it clean wouldn't fix, and definitely not the cause of their triplet's untimely demise. Honestly, if Cheri had been taken down by something like this, then she'd probably die from embarrassment more than she died from the actual wound.
At Cheri's response to the Collie thing, she shot her sister a Look. She wasn't too happy about her choice of wording, or what she was implying, but she wasn't horribly wrong, either. It wasn't that she didn't care about them, she'd just been busy. And tired. "I think she'd notice a knife in the stairs, Cher." She pointed out mildly, frowning. It was one thing to admit Collie was distracted, but even then she'd probably notice something was off. "I mean, it's a knife. Lodged into the stairs." Which for reasons Charlotte didn't have to explain, would be very concerning to come across. Especially when their sister had been so jumpy recently. "If anything, I think she'd notice that before anything else in the room." It wasn't a lie. Charlotte had no idea what was going on with her, but she'd come to notice a few things. Like how Collie's eyes would wander a room upon entering it, like she was fully expecting to have to find an escape route, or someone was hiding in the room that shouldn't be there. Or how, at the slightest sudden noise, she'd practically jump out of her skin before realizing nothing was wrong. If anything, their sister was acting like this cat Charlotte had seen on the streets a couple of times: angry at nothing, hungry, and scared. She knew what she saw but didn't know how to help her.

Eberhard Hassel Grimhilde
son of the evil queen and the huntsman "There is no way I'm going to stay if that happens. That would be absolutely unnatural and I prefer being alive rather than..." Well, what would be the worse case scenario if a non-magical cowboy on a magic proof island happen to disappear into thin air? Even if was on the whim of asking a single question. Should they be concerned they were next... Was something worse going to happen? Was the potentially genie cowboy going to raise the cowboys of hell and attack the world? Ebby figured that'd be the best example, "... than attacked by an army of disappearing cowboys."
In which upon saying, he realized he didn't give much context on how disappearing correlated to an army. But how much explanation was needed anyhow? Oh, but his sister bright up a swell point. He didn't need to contemplate much since he was raised a proper, polite child. Or at least that's what he thought. Either way, point was, "We... ask the Slim I guess? They may not be the... maximum Yeehaw we're looking for, but knowledge is knowledge still?"
