Jump In Crossover RP!

(also btw Avocato essentially has the same equipment as Little Cato. Avocato was fully equipped for a fight when he was possessed.)

Avocato lunged at Chuuya, a snarl frozen on his face as he pressed a button on his boots, sending him rocketing forwards, fist first.

Little Cato noticed that Avocato was still using his boots. Although he had modified the rifle, he was sure it could still short out the circuitry in the boots. Now all he needed was to wait for the right shot.

(ok! and that sounds good fire. if i may also sort of... play a little deus ex machina, chuuya's most powerful form (just called Corruption) is pretty damn near entirely indestructible but he'll die from the strain on his body if his former mafia partner/current rival doesn't nullify his ability, so.... maybe i could bring him in as well so? we'll see how it goes. i'm gonna wait to see what bolin does first lol)

(tbh i almost want to roll dice like in a tabletop rpg or something to randomize who's able to get hits in, i'm not sure how to write a fight scene like this lol)

Bolin Jr watched as Avocato and Chuuya went flying at each other unsure of who was going to hit who first. Turning his head slightly he noticed Little Cato getting ready to shoot at what seemed like Avocatos boots
"If you take the right one I'll take his left out" he whispered but loud enough for Little Cato to hear him

Chuuya knew his kick might leave him vulnerable to being grabbed, but he'd bounced back from much worse anyway. "You're not very talkative, are ya?!" he called out, swinging his foot toward Avocato in a wide arc. Like a stray cat playing with its prey, Chuuya liked to tease and push his enemies in battle. It was something he could usually excel at only because of his own emotional nature. Surely he could pick at Invictus and learn more about it that way.

Chuuya clucked his tongue, an irritated grin on his face. Inconsequential? No goddamn way. "Hah! You're wasting your time talking to me now!" He lept back, feet firmly rooting on the ground now. The red glow characteristic of his Ability spread to the short path between him and Avocato. The very gravity acting on the ground beneath the Ventrexian increased in force, packing the soil tightly. The surface of the ground--along with Avocato himself, if things went to plan-- would sink some five feet below the rest of their surroundings.


(does the way i wrote this make any sense? It's like.... like similar to stepping on real loosely packed snow, how it packs it tighter and makes prints you know, except he's doing it to the ground)

(hi there! our characters rn are in a separate area than the building the original group was meeting up in, since things sorta seemed to fall apart over there. basically, little cato's dad avocato came and is possessed by the entity invictus which makes him super powerful and pretty evil...chuuya took the challenge and is fighting him, while little cato and bolin jr. are helping to slow avocato/invictus down. i think that's a fair summary of what's going on?)

"That's where you're wrong." Avocato stated with a malicious grin. "You're of no concern to me. You're just another nobody willing to die for someone you barely know. Bravery and foolishness are one in the same, so well done. Fighting me was a very brave thing to do." Just as he finished talking, he noticed the ground start to give way beneath him. The ventrexian clicked his heels together, pressing both the buttons on his boots, and shot skyward.

"Now's our chance!" Little cato exclaimed quietly. Focusing the sights, he aimed for his father's right boot. He rested his finger on the trigger until he was sure of his shot. As he prepared to fire, Little cato exhaled to steady his shot. "Gotcha." He squeezed the trigger and, with a flash, the rifle fired. A sense of satisfaction blossomed within him as he realized he had struck his target. Avocato's right boot spluttered out, making it impossible for the possessed ventrexian to control where he was going. After a few moments, he slammed into the ground. As Avocato stood up, Little cato trained the rifle back on target, just in case he decided to come at them instead of Chuuya.

"You might have a point, if I thought you could kill me," Chuuya scoffed. "I was just excited for some action!"

He clucked his tongue in frustration, shooting up into the sky after Avocato, rearing back for another kick. Before he could strike, though, Chuuya's opponent spun out of control and hit the ground beneath them. Hovering close enough to the ground to use his Ability directly on Avocato, he sent that red aura around the possessed enemy, strengthening the force of gravity on his body so that no normal person could break free. His opponent restrained, Chuuya sped down from the air again to kick Avocato. "You gonna make me kill ya in front of your own son?"

Bolin Jr grinned as he shot a quick stone at Avocatos other boot, that should take care of any chance of him getting air born again, at least so it seemed

"There's no way you can win with all of us helping on the fight" Bolin Jr pointed out, "so killing you or not you can't win"
The earthbender was honestly confident in Chuuyas abilities so far

"I don't think there's anything we can do." Little Cato stated solomly. "He's gotta fight this by himself. He's the only one able to take on the power of Invictus right now "

(okay, so... I managed to beat my computer into submission, but I'm not sure how long it's gonna last. It's a chromebook, disgusting, I know, and it wouldn't turn on wifi. We boiled it down to a hardware problem, but we're not sure exactly what the issue is. We were going to get it fixed using the warranty, but when I turned it on this morning, it was magically alive again.)
