(alright, let me see what i can do, one last post before bed lol. and manifesting on insecurities....huh. this should be interesting.)
"A plan, right." Chuuya turned to Little Cato. "I bet I could kill your dad if we needed to. You probably don't want that, though, do ya?" He cleared his throat. "There's gotta be a way with no killing." It wasn't because he was a pacifist. He just figured Little Cato might be a good bet to help them figure out how to escape--if the guy's dad was killed, it'd probably put a damper on the kid's problem-solving abilities. And he, of course, didn't want to die. Especially not before his rival in Yokohama... No way I'm dying before that maniac back home. "If there is, I can do it."

"We're not killing my dad. Not unless we have no other choice." Little Cato adamantly insisted. Little Cato glanced back to his father's stone prison, reassuring himself that they had time before acting. He looked back at Chuuya. "Does that mean you have a plan?" Little Cato asked, raising an eyebrow.

Bolin Jr nodded at Chuuyas idea, "If he can fight it I could maybe play defensive too just to make sure no one gets killed or severally broken or anything? Lure 'em somewhere with a lot of boulders or something"

"I don't know." Little Cato said quietly. "Last time I saw my father, I shot him and Invictus still wouldn't come out." Little Cato explained. "If we could lure Invictus out, then maybe your plan would work, but I'm not sure if beating him to a pulp is really gonna do much. but if you want to try it, I guess it won't hurt to try, so long as we don't kill him."

"Anything that can just get shot and stay sounds like bad news. But if we could lure him with a tastier treat then maybe he wouldn't suspect our attack?" Bolin Jr muttered half to himself half to everyone
He was really a defense follow the leader guy so this was complicated, plus he was worried about leaving and the thing getting out

"He's definitely not invincible." Little Cato assured. "Bullets are just as effective on him as anyone else, it's just that Invictus refused to leave. It opened a portal or something, but I couldn't follow him. He shot and almost killed Gary, and I had to get him back to our ship before he bled out." Little Cato glanced down at the ground for a moment, frustrated. "I can't lose him again." He looked back up, determination in his eyes. "Worst case scenario, we hurt him and force invictus to leave and take my father with, but it'll be difficult to really touch him. He's trained to fight, and Invictus will only make him stronger, faster and more resilient. We'll need to work as a team if this is going to work."

Bolin Jr shook his head furiously back and forth, "I know I don't have a better plan. Either way I still got both of yalls backs. Go team uhhh Go team?!" he said with a grin
"So uh.... we're not taking him on right now? But if we don't he's not just going to like sit in rock prison forever either right?"
If he was being honest the earthbender was a little scared if he had to lower the walls for the fight and even more scared if Invictus broken out

(sorry for the poof... tough weekend.)
"Sounds good to me." Little Cato stated with a nod. Before they made any moves, however, Little Cato began tweaking the energy magazine in the Rifle. He redirected the energy into a sub-capacitor to draw out each shot into low energy, unconcentrated shots, which would make the rifle's recoil more manageable, while decreasing the actual effect of the shots, changing the rifle from a deadly weapon into more of a rapid fire taser. "This should allow me to shoot without risking killing anyone. I doubt it'll do much, but it may slow him down for you, or at the very least distract him."
(oof pulled all that technological mumbo jumbo out of thin air. I feel accomplished now.)

Bolin Jr nodded while jumping up and down and back and forth to try to get the last of his nervousness out before nodding again. "Any effort is a good one," he said smiling to Little Cato, "I'll try to slow him down too if it gets too wild out there...so basically...I'm ready to go" he gave the most confident smile he could

"I think so." Little Cato said with an ambitious grin. He readied the modified gun and nodded. "Let's get my dad back." With that, the ventrexian activated his boot thrusters and launched himself into the air. He evened out at about twenty feet, and hovered, training the rifle at the stone walls. "Whenever you two are ready."

Bolin Jr did a random back flip to stretch one last time before heading a little bit away from the earth prison, "I'm all set!" He nodded taking a stance and breaking off a few tiny pieces of ground for his pocket

(when chuuya comes down to attack him, imagine it like the timestamp this links to: ) Chuuya grinned, clearing his throat. "This should be fun," he said, crouching down and touching the ground again for a moment. His gravity Ability sent cracks through the earth, radiating from where he stood. As if from a springboard he launched himself multiple stories high, moving in an arc before speeding down with a battle cry, set to break through the prison's walls with one foot. With his gravity manipulation, not only could he levitate; he made himself heavier, pushing through more air resistance so he could put more force behind his kick. |

Little Cato watched from above as Chuuya came slamming down into the stone walls, shattering them as if they were glass. The impact also sent Avocato flying back, where he landed, about ten feet away, on his feet. "Do you really think you can beat me?" Avocato taunted before rushing forwards towards Chuuya.
Little Cato fired a few shots at his father, forcing the possessed Ventrexian to avoid a direct path to Chuuya. "Stop this! We're trying to help you!" Little Cato shouted, though his words seemed to have no effect on Avocato, as he still charged towards Chuuya.

Bolin Jr watched in amazement at how easy it was for Chuuya to break through the earth. "He is ... Also scary powerful" he muttered while watching Avocato get thrown back
When the Ventrexian started to charge forward the earthbender was snapped back to reality quickly bringing up tiny stone pillars to make Avocato have to go around
"Hurry Chuuya get him!"

That was a cat for you -- landing on his feet from a blow like that. He'd knocked his opponent away, but Chuuya's surprise advantage was gone now. "I know I can beat ya," he said. He grinned, leaping high into the air, aided by his Ability. With the time bought by Bolin Jr's obstacles and Little Cato's shots, Chuuya was sure to hover just right, poised at the best height to kick Avocato square in the face as he rushed him. "You gonna answer your kid back there? Or are you all gone in there, buddy?"
(okay, here's where he's gonna get a little more OP. feel free to have Invictus fight back in equally overpowered ways, or -- if you want -- i can have this alternate dimension somewhat nullify his abilities?)
