Colby looked a little disappointed at the fact they couldn’t see them. He then said, “my mom said I’m only going to grow up to be around six feet tall, which is pretty tall! But I have a lot of growing to do.” He looked up at Remiel, “how tall are you?”

Remiel smiled as Colby spoke. "Seven feet and five inches." When the group eventually reached the camp, they first were greeted with the large rock fencing. The guards there looked down at them, and Remiel explained that Sootwing invited them. When let in, they were greeted by a massive, busy setting. It was like a huge village, maybe even a small city with huts, nests and other dens. "Let's see about finding you somewhere to stay." It was mostly monsters, but you saw plenty of humans too.

“Woah. That’s tall!” Colby said before going back to his parents side. Cally looked around curiously, glancing back at the group as they walked.

(I replied on the last post of previous page, tho it was a bit short lol)
The monsters watched the new humans, Fatid looking around too. They were eventually brought to a small home, Remirl saying "You all can stay here. Go ahead and set your things down so we can go talk to the ones in charge. We need to let them know you are here."

Necromancer walked along side him, glancing around a little as well as he surveyed his surroundings and the monsters walking around him. He kept his focus on finding a place to stay that was out of the public eye as well though.
Cally thanked him along with the rest of the family. They set their stuff down like instructed before standing back with the group.

Monsters were already watching Necromancer and Mercurius, but the fox just kept looking around. No one seemed hostile, just curious as they noticed mainly Necro.
Remiel led the family back out. "It's a good thing you all agreed to come. Who knows how much more chaotic things will get now." They eventually reached one of the larger constructs in the massive camp, made of wood and roots. Inside was a group of monsters speaking with who was assumed to be in charge. A tall, bipedal lion with a white tunic and red cape, and a gold chaplet in shape of an olive branch.

Necromancer acknowledged only a few of the monsters looking to him and Mercurius. He eventually found somewhere that it seemed decent enough to stay arched though it was at a hotel of sorts.
Colby held his mother’s hand gently as they stepped back a little ways to let the monsters go first.

One of the monsters walked up as the two arranged to stay at the hotel. "Um... hello... why is someone like you here...?"
Remiel smiled reassuringly at Colby before going to talk to the lion, the angel eventually motioning for the group to come over.

Necromancer looked to the monster before saying, “we are here looking for recruits.” He explained simply Mx
The family approached cautiously, Cally’s dad subtly drawing his dagger from his side, holding it tight in his hand.

The monster nodded a little. "Oh... um, okay? Has something happened? Oh, wait. I'd heard about... well, yeah..."
Layth studied Cally's father. "I advise you stay your weapon. Unless in the sparring area, fighting is not advised."

“Ragnarok has voiced a threat, and we are taking it seriously before it’s too late. I normally like to work alone but I have been advised to gather a court of sorts. Now, give us two of your best rooms please.” Necromancer said.
Cally’s dad seemed to be hesitant, but her mother gently nudged him and he looked to her. He then put his dagger back in its holder.

The monster nodded. "Oh, um, of course. Right this way, sirs." The pudgy, scaly feline creature led them to some rooms neighboring each other. "Here you are, and the keys."
Layth nodded. "Good, now come sit. I just had some Black Cherry tea made, if you'd like to have some. I don't know why I have so much made for meetings, as my court don't really like it, even though one cup is worth a pretty penny. So, come."

Necromancer took the key to his room before thanking the monster, nodding slightly in acknowledgment. He then looked to Mercurous, “be ready in ten minuets to come get a lay of the land and to begin spreading the word with me.” He said simply before entering his room, shutting the door softly.
Cally thanked him as she went to sit with him. Colby followed suit, happily plopping down beside his sister. Criss also took her spot, and the two parents sat down beside her.

Mercurius nodded quickly before going to his room, mainly to have a look around. He didn't get too comfortable, just wanting a quick glance before it was time to head back out again. He was excited, even hyping himself up in his room quietly. Good thing no one was there, though he doubted few hadn't seen him heroically pose and boast anyway.
Fatid sat by Criss smiling a little at her before look over at Layth. The lion had the tea passed out to everyone before asking the humans "So, judging by the cautiousness of the man, I assume you are a family of hunters, correct?" He studied them all with an expression that really already told them that he knew the obvious answer.

Necromancer had just taken the time to enjoy the quiet and relax in the calm atmosphere. When it was time to go, he went back outside, waiting patiently for Mercurius.
Criss smiled a little at Fatid before sipping her tea. Cally nodded at his question, "we are, but we favor survival over profession, obviously. We are very willing to give hunting up for our safety." She said

Mercurius soon joined Necromancer outside. "Alright," he said. "Let's get going. Meet the people and all, and I'm pretty sure they'll want to meet you too."
Layth nodded a little. "I wouldn't say to give up the practice, just that I'd advise you not to enforce any threats while within the camp unless absolutely necessary." There were fights sometimes, and humans had the right to defend themselves in that case.

“Right.” Necromancer said, taking a deep breath before saying, “let’s go.” As he turned to head back outside.
Calmly nodded, shooting a glance to her father, who had a neutral expression. Jennifer then spoke up saying, “thank you for allowing my family and I to stay here for the time being. It is very kind of you.”

Mercurius walked with Necro back outside, looking around at the busy area in the valley. There were plenty still going about their day, selling wares or hurrying off to wherever.
Layth nodded once. "Of course. You are welcome to stay as long as you like, so long as you do nothing that forces me to have you all removed. And, do be on your best behavior when you can. The Divine One has been visiting lately. This camp is the largest one, after all. Has the most humans too."

Necromancer walked along side Mercurius as they walked down the street, smiling softly as he looked around.
Cally titled her head saying, “pardon me if it’s rude to ask, but who is the divine one exactly?”

Mercurius looked around curiously. Word must've been getting around already, as a lot of monsters were looking their way. "I guess it is a matter of who looks interesting to you," Mercurius said.
Remiel and even Fatid gave Cally odd looks. Layth hummed, saying "It is one of Uriel's titles. Divine One. Holy Light. The Creator, and many more names, though it is understandable a human raised by hunters would not know such things. I assume your father at least thinks quite lowly of even him."

Necromancer looked around, “I suppose so. Though I will be waiting to make any choices until I make an official announcement. I don’t want to make a fool of myself by approaching some monster who doesn’t want the job.” He said simply.
Cally turned red and looked down with embarrassment at their looks. Cally’s dad shrugged, “we have human leaders. Why would I have my children be led by something that was part of their future jobs?” He said simply.

Mercurius nodded. "Understandable. Making an announcement will draw out those who might actually want to join."
The monsters listening growled a little at Cally's father. Layth hummed. "I said nothing of being led by him. Perhaps just a little respect for the being that decided to actually make your species, lest you be nothing more than particles in existence. Nothing."

Necromancer nodded, “though I would like you to spread the word later today of the announcements. Like where it will be and at what time.” He said, “can you do that for me?”
The dad just shrugged, “they were bound to find out on their own anyways.” He said simply, even though they obviously never put it together, having Cally just made a fool of herself.

Mercurius nodded. "Of course. I'll head out right now. Good luck." He started off at a trot as he left, deciding to get a distance away so they wouldn't be in the same area.
Remiel huffed "Still, you should show a little more respect, hunter or not." Layth then sighed, saying "It is alright. They will meet him soon anyways, and he can voice his opinions to the Divine One himself. He likes to meet new humans, after all."

Necromancer nodded, keeping his gaze focused on what he was doing. He looked around at a few stand, seeing what they had to sell before moving on to look around some more.
The man just shrugged again? Not saying anything. If he said something it wouldn’t end well, so he knew to keep his mouth shut. Cally facepalmed. This was a mess. Jennifer smiled sympathetically to Cally, putting a gentle hand on her back as she said, “we will try to inform them with as much as we know, but it may not be all to informative..” she said softly.

One of the more curious monsters walked up to Necro, looking up at him before asking "Are you here looking for recruits? That's what others are saying."
Layth hummed. "Learning generates new knowledge. What you don't know, you'll find out, especially at this camp if you're curious enough to ask around. Just, avoid asking most Light Monsters. They'll try to push an entire practice on you." Even though the lion was a Light Monster, though he wasn't like that.

Necromancer nodded a little, “and they would be correct.” He said, “I’m sure you’ve also heard about Ranarok’s recent threats.” He said, “I need people to work along side me now through this possible battle.” He explained.
The family nodded a little. Jennifer then said, “Will there be any schooling available here for my son? He’s only in elementary, going on middle school next year.” She explained softly.

The monster nodded a little. "I see. Well, I'm not really helper material, but there might be more suitable people down that way, down in the farther dip of the valley. A lot of travelers there. Fighters, by the looks of them, some smart ones too. Unless you're looking for specific individuals though?"
Layth nodded to Jennifer. "There is, though it's mainly monsters there, if that is of no concern to you, though there are other human children as well." He focused mainly on Jennifer at that point, having seen no further need to look toward Colby and Cally's father. "We go up to highschool, surprisingly. It's hard to find any monsters who are willing to teach out here. Most are busy doing missions or fighting, but Sootwing's brother, Moonfeather, has stuck around to do so. It's a small class though, unfortunately, because most monster parents see fit in teaching their kids to fight rather than focusing on both that and schooling."

Necromancer nodded slowly as he looked in the direction the monster pointed to. He then said, “preferably dark monsters.” He said, “though with the addition of Mercurious by my side I think I’ve become a little less picky.” He said with a small smile.
Jennifer nodded a little, “and do we have to pay tuition or anything?” She asked curiously, assuming they would have to. She smiled a little, “I am sure Colby will be very excited learn and make new friends.” She said excitedly. Colby just frowned.

The monster nodded. "It's mostly dark monsters in the valley anyway, so it shouldn't be too much trouble looking. Whenever you're ready to head over there though, it's down that way. Not too hard to find since it's such a large dip."
Layth shook his head. "Not here, no. The education is free, as there are other things to be spending our coin on at this camp. We barely have any educators as it is at only three, and even then only Moonfeather teaches beyond highschool level."
