Stormy watched as Galante officially declared the tournament to start before sitting back down with his family. As the first two teams started the battle, Stormy then asked the two other women "So... are either of you single?" She smiled sheepishly. "Not for me though! I already have a mate, but I'm just curious."
Thalassa arched a brow at him. "Well, I guess I could go, but I just don't like it when people try and approach me to get between my tentacles. And Lightning monsters are the worst with that." She ignored Babari's scoff.

Both Cally and Crissandre shook their heads, Cally giggling a little at Stormy’s words. “But I am getting closer with Remiel. But we aren’t even officially going out yet so..” Cally explained.
Necromancer scoffed, “and you think I will be any different?” He then shrugged and shook his head a little, “just stick with me. I’m sure it’ll be fine.” He assured her.

Stormy smiled curiously. "Ooh, lucky. I went simple and found another Skipples, and she's the best." She scratched her chin as she watched the fight some more. Glancing at Crissandre, she said "I bet tons of people try to get in good with you though, huh?"
Thalassa sighed. "I suppose. I'm just wary is all, considering my former mate was, to put it simple, an ass." She watched the fight go on for a minute. "I guess I should try to look around rather than just be alone."

Cally shrugged, “humans are hard to come by lately. And the ones that I do meet are either rude, too young, or too old.” She explained. Crissandre then looked back towards them as she was spoken to. She then sighed, “yes, as a matter of fact there are... but they all only really want me for my position. Which is exactly why I’m trying to blend in and lay low. Maybe I’ll run into a nice man who either doesn’t know me or doesn’t seem to care about my position, but rather who I am as a monster.”
“See, this is exactly why I am going to choose my mate very carefully. I’m not in any rush after all.” He smiled a little in amusement, “but who knows what will happen. Maybe I’ll meet my Princess or Prince Charming one day to run away with.” He joked quietly.

Stormy shrugged to Cally. "Well then I guess just find what works out, I guess. Whatever that is." She watched as the first fight ended and waited for the next group to come out. She then said to Crissandre "Don't you hang out with, like, two other guy mages or something? What about them?" But everyone had a type, mostly, so maybe it just didn't work out.
Babari snorted. "You sure aren't. We're all old farts and I'm pretty sure we've all had at least one mate. And let's not even start on the conquests." Thalassa rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she watched the second group come out.

Crissandre sighed, keeping her gaze on the battlefield, “yes. But there’s nothing to say about them.” She said simply. Cally looked to Stormy with a small shrug.
Necromancer scoffed, “oh, you’re just salty because you mate dumped you. And to think I was the one who needed a mate.” He looked to Babari, “maybe you should do some looking yourself.” He said before looking back towards the battle.

Stormy tsked. "That's what people say when there is stuff to say! You're no fun..." Yawning, she watched the second fight go on, really just wanting to see her friend.
Babari snorted. "At least I was able to get one. You should have by now, especially with where you live. Or are you too busy shagging all your corpses?" He looked away with a huff, ignoring Thalassa's annoyed groan.

Crissandre let out a small, amused laugh at her, though her face had a guilty blush to it. She didn’t say anything though, only glancing to Stormy with a small smile. She then turned back to the battlefield.
Necromancer raised an eyebrow, blushing slightly with embarrassment, “hardy har har.” He said before huffing. He then rested his cheek on his fist. He looked onto the battlefield with interest.

The next battle ended pretty quick, and Stormy watched happily as one of the next groups included her friend. She squealed happily, jumping and waving to the huge dragon.
Babari scoffed as the battle ended quickly, then looked around the crowds. Plenty of people were looking over toward their viewing box. "Are either of you going to the party after this? Maybe that can be the one we all go to."

Cally smiled towards Stormy, “I’m assuming that’s your friend.” She said. Crissandre looked towards the monster with a raised eyebrow but didn’t say a word.
Necromancer shrugged, “Sure, why not? I’ve got nothing better to do tonight.” He said,

The Skipples nodded happily, watching the huge dragon snake around the battle. Stormy smiled happily, saying "Maybe your friends will be up next. I'm kinda glad they aren't fighting each other though."
Thalassa shrugged a little. "I suppose I can attend." She then looked back toward the arena, watching as the two teams fought. "I miss the days when I got to fight. Now I'm too busy."

“Me too. I wouldn’t want to see anyone of our friends get hurt.” She said. “Your friend is doing pretty good though!” She said as she cheered.
Necromancer rolled his eyes, “you miss fighting? More like showing off for all the other monsters.” He teased, not that he didn’t do the same when he was younger. “It’s an honor to be a Warmaster, but I actually understand where you’re coming from. There’s so much stress these days.”

Stormy nodded proudly. "Size definitely helps." An Ao Loong could easily reach thirty feet long, and the dragon used her powers and size to her advantage. The teams were both good though.
Thalassa laughed. "Well, yes. When I was a princess I was able to show off all I wanted, though my mother didn't really like I was a fighter. Still, it certainly helped after I took the throne and was chosen to be a Warmaster."

Cally cheered as they fight went on, cheering for the Ao Loong’s team. Crissandre also lightened up a little, cheering as well.
Necromancer nodded slowly, “well you still could fight. You just need to find the time.” He stated simply, “though that’s a task in itself.”

Stormy watched as her friend's team won, cheering as both teams left. As they waited for next two, she said "Hopefully they move up the ranks. I kinda want to go to that party..."
Thalassa was about to speak, but Hydratila said "Her Majesty does not have time for fighting. She's busy with her duties." The royal waved dismissively as she said "I can surely find the time if I wanted. It's been peaceful lately."

Crissandre looked to Stormy, “even it your team doesn’t win I bet I can pull some strings for you.” She said simply. She looked to Cally, “you and your team as well.”
“Well if you ever want to train with me I’m more than happy to train with you.” Necromancer said as he looked at the battle ahead of them.

Stormy smiled widely. "I'm holding you to that. Just saying. Seriously though, thanks. I hope I'm able to be there because of my friend though. Not that we can't be friends!" She then watched as the next two teams came out, one of them being Fatid's group.
Thalassa shrugged. "I don't see why not. We'll have to arrange a place on land to meet though of course, considering you can't breathe underwater." She then looked as the next team came out.

Criss smiled and nodded a little in response to her. She then looked a little surprised as Cally suddenly began to cheer like mad for her two friends, “there they are!” She told the two monsters on either side of her.
Necromancer shrugged as smiled guiltily, “sorry.” He said, “I’m sure many arenas would we willing to give us some time though.” He suggested as she watched the next team come out, “this should be good...”

Fatid, Remiel and Faugnar moved out onto the field, looking around. They looked over as the next group came out. A Primigenius they didn't know, but the other two individuals they did. The Legendary Mercuris, the messenger known for his speed. And the short, five foot fox was wearing a baby harness, in that harness being little Psilotus. (A Primigenius, usually 12 feet or so tall) (Mercurius is five feet, short fox boi) (And the foot tall shroom x3)

Cally watched on with great interest, looking excited to see her friends really show of their skills. She cheated for Fatid and Remiel still. Crissandre smiled a little in amusement towards her new friend.

The fight started, and Mercurius was the first to move. Lightning crackled around his paws as he bolted forward, the Primigenius behind him charging forward. Faugnar drifted forward and tried to grab Mercurius, but the fox hopped over him. Remiel and Fatid both went for the Primigenius, but Psilotus wiggled his little stubs and Fatid stumbled a few steps, grunting as his arms twitched.

Cally felt herself tense a little as she watched, “you got this!” She exclaimed, but she doubted they heard her. She glanced over as she noticed Crissandre had gotten awfully quiet as she watched, as opposed to talking to them and critiquing the monsters’ moves like she did in the past rounds.

Psilotus warbled softly, wiggling his arms against Fatid grunted, suddenly swinging an arm and sending Remiel rolling in the dirt. Faugnar was still trying to grab Mercurius, trying to get at Psilotus and remove him from the picture. The Primigenius raised her large foot and tried to step on Remiel, who used his hands to catch it and keep her from stepping on him.

Cally’s heart skipped a beat when she saw Remiel almost get stepped on. It was one thing to be losing a fight, but it was a whole lot worse to watch those who were close to you lose a fight.

Fatid grabbed Remiel, tentacles wrapping around him as the Primigenius lifted her foot. The nature monster swung his arms up and brought the angel crashing down. Remiel wheezed before literally bursting into flames, causing Fatid to let go. Mercurius was landing hits on Faugnar left and right, all while Psilotus was keeping Fatid working for his team with his possession magic.

Cally frowned, growling a little even though she knew he couldn’t control his actions. “Fatid has quite some strength. Even though he is not fighting for the right team.” Crissandre said as she watched him, “Remiel is very powerful too.” She had seen him fight before a few times.

Stormy watched curiously. "Lucky that Remiel and Faugnar can't be possessed, or they would've just been fighting each other." Psilotus had the ability to possess multiple people, but some monsters simply couldn't be possessed. She watched as Faugnar finally caught Mercurius, the two struggling. And Psilotus lost focus, chirping and squeaking in distress as he was flailed around along with Mercurius. Fatid regained consciousness though, grunting and rubbing his head as Remiel went for the Primigenius.

Crissandre nodded, “the battle would be over shortly if it weren’t for that.” She agreed. Cally then cheered for Fatid as she regained consciousness, telling him he could do it and that he could do it.

Fatid went for the large mammoth creature, tentacles wrapping around her tusks to stop her charge just as Remiel leapt up. The angel brought the hilt of his sword down onto her face, kicking off as she stumbled back. Fatid then wrenched his arms to the side in attempt to make her fall, but she was bigger and heavier and they ended up sorta wrestling. Psilotus wiggled his stubs again, causing Remiel to suddenly buckle and fall over like he suddenly just lost all of his energy.

“This a pretty good match.” Cally observed, “one moment Fatid’s team is winning and the next they’re not. It’s very exhilarating.” She said before cheering again. She honestly couldn’t tell which team would be the victor.
